The Zero Hedge Boiler Room

Sean Gismonte: You're supposed to push Webistics.
Worker: I, I was just givin' them alternatives, shit!
Matthew Bevilaqua: Webistics is our pick o' the week.

Well, perhaps we won't get that uppitidy, but you might consider saying nice things about us over at Investimonals.

Fess up or I call bullshit on this request.

And that's a source of the constant depression for Felix Salmon:

The Zero Hedgies, in other words, are the 4chan of the financial blogsphere, which is maybe one of the more depressing aspects of the degree to which the financial blogosphere has matured.

Delacroix, is that you posting as Anon?  Yes, Jewish-American dream is so fucking stupid.  Think about some other options that the Mayflower immigrants might not have considered.  The fact that France is now aflame with burning burkas warms me with internal happiness and schadenfreude.

"Irish-American (Catholic) dream"

"American Indian (don't slaughter me, I'm just tryin' to grow corn) dream"

"African-American (brought here against my will) dream"

"German-American (sie need ein gute brewhaus) dream"

"Mexican American (we used to own this land) dream"

"Hindu/Buddhist/Confucian Southeast Asian-American (thank the 1,000 real gods we totally controll the mani-pedi market) dream"

I don't see what's anti-Semitic. Please clarify, I'm willing to learn.

The kid clearly broadcasts that he is Jewish and is desperately looking for some love from the community. Check.
The kid is a doofus. Check.
The kid is on the Madoof fast track. Check.

The only thing missing, it's clear that he's a mix of Madoff and PT Barnum. A real financial circus clown if you will.

It's surprising that ZH would risk their hard earned credibility chumming around with festering wounds least they get enveloped by the abscess.

Is there zero value associated with honesty and credibility anymore?

I think the most offensive part of your post, to me, was "Joofus".    If he was Irish, would you have called him Mickfus?   And he wasn't promoting his "jewish american dream".  That was Cavuto's spin.  He admits his strategy isn't scalable.  And as far as the Madoff claim; do you need a non-jewish list of Ponzi scammers (starting with the Italian-American Ponzi and continuing throughout American history to "Sir" Allen Stanford, a fifth generation Texan).

Finally. I get a chance to really bitch about how Tyler won't disagregate himself and how Marla won't let people cow her. Plus I should also mention how antisocial you all are. It's like you're a bunch of people who you invite over to play ball and you show up with hockey sticks. I'm going to have to spend some time on this review. This could take awhile.

A foregone conclusion considering the limited amount of characters in Fight Club. Perhaps ZH should have gone with an 'Armageddon'-based website instead, though I'm not sure if financial analysis would have the same ring to it coming from Bruce Willis and Liv Tyler.

I attempted to appear witty in my review:

Zero HedgE(xistentialism)
[zeer-oh heg-zi-sten-shuh-liz-uhm, ek-si-]
–noun Economic Philosophy.
a economic philosophical attitude associated esp. with Tyler Durden and Marla Singer, and opposed to Bernakism and Geithnerism, that stresses the individual's unique position as a self-determining agent responsible for the authenticity of his or her choices

They call it the American dream

They call it the American dream

sometimes it almost seems real
something inside you can almost feel

the dream become reality

but in this world all that's inside
must find a home
I'd never be happy with a roof to
call my own

I got needs
Bigger than that
I got dreams
you know where I'm at

I hate to say it, but maybe this is where ZH jumped the shark. The site has always been about putting the information first, not the site. I don't mean the site shouldn't be self sufficient and capitalistic, but CNBC is rated 9.7 out of ten on the site. I'm sure CNBC started out the same way....
