Zero Speed
As you no doubt have noticed, Zero Hedge has enjoyed taunting you by swimming through the ether like it was molasses. We are putting the final touches on things like load-balancing and network settings, so occasionally, as you bring us to new heights of traffic saturation, we've been tweaking things to max out our capacity. (Or exceed it and cause database violence).
Do not fear. Such annoyances are temporary. Call them growing pains, if you like.
We are also moving to a larger server setup presently. We suspect that move will give us what we need for the foreseeable (and unforeseeable) future.
Of course, the old Zero Hedge is available as a backup, should you need your fix right this minute, and you'll know when we consider the new site "final" because we will phase out posting in our old digs.
It probably won't all be painless, but when its over, we think you'll like the results.

This is Happy Harry Hardon reminding you to eat your cereal with a fork and to do your homework in the dark.
Thanks in advance for all your time and effort, Marla!
at that point, will you enable full-text RSS?
Full text RSS will return. I promise.
This is the best news I have read all day.
thank you marla!
Damn straight I need the fix. Gotta feed the monkey, man
Thanks for the heads up
And I thought the powers that be got to you!
I am looking forward to being able to log in...
Today reminded me of reading bulletin board newsgroups about people like Ivan Boesky and Michael Milken over my 1200 baud modem.
Some days you get nostalgic for that kind of stuff.
Hey! Wait! Don't pick up the ph{#`%${%&`+'${`%&NO CARRIER
Marla, how about a more difficult math question. If this user base is as smart as we think we are, we should be able to solve something more complex than 1+1. It could be kind of like a filter.
Yes, I agree. Someone should have to solve for the relative minimum of a second derivative.
the word cluster fcuk comes to mind - one would have thought that in the land of zero a website transition would have been a bit more 'seem'less - maybe you guys need to get Rattner on the case - he did a heck of a job with fixing GM
now if only I could add this will post - lets make a wild gusss hmmmm 19
Considering our development budget is $12.18, a peanut butter encrusted butter knife, a squished tube of Brylcreem (1932 vintage) and a broken rubberband that a dog appears to have chewed, I think we are in pretty good shape.
ALOT of sites are slow these days. Mish's seems to take forever loading lately it seems.
