you are right, they staged that tea party rant. odd, because nothing on tv is ever staged.
Steve is the smartest guy who's always wrong. It's not that I don't trust him; he's just terrible.
The question about Liesman boils down to this simplicity:
Once upon a time many years ago, Mr Liesman would have made the best Econ 101 teacher any student could have hoped for. His explanations were quite good.
Today, he is often noise and provides the most shallow understanding of many of the things he speaks of. I often have to turn the channel when he speaks. He has become a major disapointment.
Grammar: WHOM Do You Trust More:
Liesman is more trustworthy. You can have a great deal of confidence that if he says something it's a complete and total lie. I trust him to steer me in the exact wrong direction 100% of the time.
Liesman fancies himself an economist but he lacks the understanding of the most basic notions. All the "10% unemployment means that 9 out of 10 Americans have a job" is just sad.
