Only days after finishing its last wargames in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran has announced another set of wargames in February.
WHAT COULD GO WRONG?
Looking behind the headlines:
- The people pushing for war against Iran are the same neocons who pushed for war against Iraq. See this and this.
- China and Russia have warned that attacking Iran could lead to World War III.
- War against Iran was planned at least 20 years ago.
- The U.S. has been claiming for more than 30 years that Iran was on the verge of nuclear capability (and the U.S. apparently helped fund the Iranian nuclear program.)
- The sinking of the USS Maine, the Gulf of Tonkin incident, and other justifications for past wars have turned out to be false. Similarly, a number of high-level intelligence officials and politicians have said that the U.S. would fake a provocation and blame it on Iran as a casus belli. For example, Ron Paul has warned of a “Gulf of Tonkin type incident” in Iran, and Pulitzer-prize winning investigative reporter Seymour Hersh says many ideas have been proposed for provoking a war, including building boats that look like Iranian boats, and then putting Navy Seals on them to “start a shoot-up”.
- The CIA admits that it hired Iranians in the 1950?s to pose as Communists and stage bombings in Iran in order to turn the country against its democratically-elected prime minister. Pulitzer-prize winning investigative reporter Seymour Hersh says that the Bush administration (and especially Dick Cheney) helped to fund terrorist groups within Iran (see confirming articles here and here). And the New York Times, Washington Post and others are reporting, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge, former national security adviser Fran Townsend and former Attorney General Michael Mukasey – who all said that the terrorists were going to get us if we didn’t jettison the liberties granted under the Bill of Rights – are now supporting terrorists in Iran.

I don't buy the "US military fighting for my freedom" lie anymore. That is one of the falsehoods that still elicits a kneejerk response for people to shut up and get in line. Seems to me that the US military fights to extend the corporate/financial control of the US empire. KBR, Bechtel, Halliburton and all the weapons contractors among many others are the beneficiaries of US militarism, not my free speech and "rights"

Thanks WmBZ for this and George for the ariticle - please keep posting these truths even if you have to become "pamphleteers" (after the internet is killed).
There is hope when a school teacher is turned and finally learns the BS we're fed - but it takes the likes of both of you to keep hammering.
Meanwhile, TPTB continue to use "Divide and conquer" (In this case Democrats versus Republicans and Republicans versus Republicans) to divert attention with cover from MSM/Corporatocracy/Military-Industrial complex. Obama will also use it as a pretext for getting re-elected by getting Americans to fall in line against the "Axis of Evill" and get all wrapped up in the flag "In support of our brave boys". Oh, and BTW, whilst "Protecting America" from this evil, we need to continue to run up the defecits to fund the war. We can worry about balancing budgets further down the same road the can has been kicked up for too many years alraeady.
Of course, they can get away with this after years of dumbing down the population via "Education" and TV. So long as there are still "Cheesy twirls" in WalMart, which can be paid for with Food stamps or a credit card, the American sheeple appear not to give a shit about the Constitution and freedom. Have faith, people. The fundamentals cannot be beaten. The NWO can only work given plenty of cheap energy (why it's been waging so many wars of late); and when the energy runs out, which it will, there goes the NWO. Look around. The EU is collapsing. Soon NAFTA will collapse: "free trade" is starting to get throttled, with protectionist measures popping up. Not arguing that there aren't those in power who wish for an NWO, just that it could never reach a point of having any significant lifespan. NOTE: perhaps a WWIII will be attempted in order to produce a larger Marshall Plan, but I think that there just won't be the physical resources to make it happen (all the countries are looking around and realizing that all they have is PAPER, and that there really isn't enough resources to steal from others such that there could be anything remotely resembling a post war recovery).
Bad systems have prevailed often throughout history. Few have endured, but they have a surprisingly longer shelf-life than good systems.

The NDAA was step #1. SOPA will be step #2. WWIII and the domestic round-up will be #3 if we can't stop the wheels in motion before we get there.
I sent scathing letters to both my Senators for supporting NDAA accusing them of shaming both themselves and the Old Dominion. You should see the b.s. responses I received. I may post them here. 'Thank you for contacting me regarding your views on important defense programs. NDAA 2012 passed with my full support... blah blah blah.'

The NDAA just woke up my ex-girlfriend who I dumped in '06 for being a hopeless TV-addicted sheep. She just called me last week talking about martial law, the Bill of Rights, Obama possibly being the Antichrist, etc. At this point she supports Romney but it has only been two weeks since her first glimpse of the Matrix. Trust me, if SHE is waking up, the elites are in serious trouble. BTW, she's a public schoolteacher.

I think that the MSM (left and right) will have to finally cover it as they are catching some heat. News is spreading about this and it will backfire against all who voted for it.

The number of people waking up is just phenomenal. A group of liberal friends who were steadfast with their normalcy bias invited me to a showing of Thrive, the new age movie that lays out the whole thing, from fractional reserve banking to FEMA camps and eugenics, in an amazing spriritual journey that left my jaw hanging.

Who says they'll "follow orders" if an order is given to shoot their fellow country men? I would not count on the military in our country being that controlled.

I'd rather have well trained guys that get it ready to abide by their oaths when TSHTF.
I've got a buddy on Border Patrol (in a higher end part of the ORG), and he says his unit is about divided in half (about a year ago). His half takes the oath seriously, the other half are of the mind that 'nothing is above the mission'. We'll see how that plays out - probably sooner rather than later.
I would. I asked one and he said "of course" he'd "follow orders". Their pay packet and promotions depend on it.
Oh give it a break. The military is a job. They have families to feed. You have to be independently wealthy or well-connected to walk away from a steady gig these days. Give them credit for waking up and save your self-righteous preachitude for the ones with options.
