Nobody is as smart as Kotoc.  Don't believe that?  Ask David Kotoc.

If this article is not a vivid illustration of deck chair rearrangement, I don't know what is.

The premises and thesis of your commentary is to go back to the ways of old right? That is, the smaller institutions pay a higher portion of funding FDIC? This solves what again?

One thing is clear, further monetization is not coming anytime soon, that is the signal I read from this. Secondly and more importantly...THE BANKS ARE TOO BIG! Lets get to the business of breaking these behemoths up eh? The standard argument is we must have these large institutions to compete on the global stage....i call BS on that. This argument infers syndication of deals would not work or have never existed in the past.

bankers gobbeldy gooking is worse hash than what got served to the poor in a free soup line during great depression; is this a harbinger of future times? The so called wedge, the cutting edge of bankers withdrawal pains that will turn to global rout. Run Oligarchs when the people's ire quantum jumps the 20 point scandalous spread. You are all cooked turkeys for next year's thanksgiving.

Leen and mean's lodge or no lodge, its time to get out of Dodge. Wall street blues you'll be a singing in the rain.
