Egyptian Brutality Comes to America: Police Fire Rubber Bullets at Peaceful Protesters

George Washington's picture

This is not Egypt, Greece or Italy ... this is America:

The injured gentlemen is Veterans for Peace member Scott Olsen, allegedly shot with a rubber bullet.

This is another gentlemen allegedly shot in the face with a rubber bullet (his injury is above his right eye, while the injury to Scott Olsen appears to be on the left side of his face):

http://s1-02.twitpicproxy.com/photos/large/433190207.jpg

Here are police roughing up a peaceful woman protester:

And a policeman threw a flash grenade into a crowd trying to help an injured protester:

Some are calling this the "new Kent State".

And protesters from Tahrir Square, Egypt, say this is what it looked like there.

'We are Anonymous'

Hi I am Jason Rines and now you can know really where I pledge efforts and why.

'We do not forgive, we do not forget'

Revenge multiplies losses so either your clueless about history or intentionally fucking with people.

'We are legion'

No WE aren't anything but citizens expecting restoration of the rule of law, dynamic changes to reflect a 4d world and for the irrelevant police state to dissipate so we can actually try Capitalism for the first time.
You don't fight shadow with shadow.

Besides, paying politicians and bankers to lie on our behalf and externalize was 3d model. We're entering a 4d world. The tools of man be them government, religion, computers or guns reflects that. I have not seen much from Anonymous that it gets any of these things I mention. When you build an inclusive transparent process, let me know. And if I have to break things it will be when I can see the whites of their eyes for myriads of reasons that all involve mitigating loss of life.

"The longer it remains undetected the more difficult it is to expose a false premise. Resistance to change builds with time due to familiarity and association causing less individual thought and effort required to perform a function. Changes always cause increases in the amount of human effort required to perform any given function and mankind has always sought to satisfy its desires with the least amount of effort. Thinking is a very special ability, that in fact raises mankind above the level of animal, but it appears to require a greater amount of effort than physical labor.

"There is no amount of physical labor man will not resort to, to avoid the effort of thinking."

Thomas Alva Edison

If the Public was to give some thought, they could not accept such concepts as 'Monetized Debt' which is based upon the basic premise that the more you borrow the richer you become.

Thinking about the existing conditions today: the government insists that the G.N.P. "backs" the "currency" in "circulation." It APPEARS true because an individual has to work to get "currency" therefore it is expected that others will give up their production or possessions to get it, (logical and rational superstructure). The Monetary Authorities (the commercial banks) that issue the "currency" say that the "currency" represents the monetization of debt and that in fact, nothing backs the "currency." "Currency" is accepted by individuals, for their goods and services because they believe that some one else will take it from them later in exchange for other goods and/or services. No one looks beyond the fact that the "currency" is still being accepted in exchange. Three quarters of all the "money" created is created by private institutions which through its purchasing power, exact three times greater influence upon government than the Public, and actually hold the nonbank public as their slaves. (Ref. Chapter LXXI "Money" the greatest HOAX on Earth."

". . .Private institutions issue the largest part of the money stock . . . ."

Page 16 Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Review February 1975

On page 22:

"The decrease in purchasing power incurred by holders of money due to Inflation imparts gains to the issuers of money . . . ."

On page 23:

"Monetary expansion and inflation come about primarily as the result of actions of the monetary authorities."

On page 4:

"When the Federal Government in June 1969 stopped trying to do anything about inflation it turned its activities toward developing scapegoats in order to get Americans to blame their neighbor for their problems. Had the scapegoat strategy not been so effective, it would be humorous."" ....

There is a RUMOR (and I want to stress a RUMOR!!!):

DHS has stepped in and ordered ALL the Occupy encampments closed.

It's been tweeted around, but it is not clear whether it's legitimate or not.

If Homeland Security has decided now is the time to squash OWS, we won't make Thanksgiving as a nation.

---------

To me, this would be, in no way, a surprise.

Even in conservative Riverside, CA, there's been a decent encampment for about two weeks.

Copters have been circling Downtown Riverside with their floodlights on, and cop cars have been buzzing the encampment down by the SEIU building a couple hours ago.

---------

Sounds like the next flash-point is San Francisco. Oakland protestors, upon the designation of a November 2 general strike, have attempted, most without success (BART from Oakland to San Francisco has effectively been closed by the Oakland Police Dept.), to join Occupy San Francisco, as it appears they are the next to get raided.

Given my experience in San Fran, that's where it could get REALLY UGLY, especially if the veteran already in critical condition dies.

---------

Second Edit 2300 PDT: Sounds like the SFPD are now moving on the encampment. Significant numbers of police.

Here is the deal, most probably do not know what is going on.

But they do know that something is fuked up, and they want to do something about it.

Alot of us are independent speculators and take offence, however they probably do not know or understand that we are the same as them.

Goldman is not prejudiced, they will fuk anybody they can.

You know, it's events like this which make me certain that I do not have long left.

Every breath I take and everything I do are acts of violence against The Powers That Be, and events like last night are the push-backs, trying to get "the rabble" back in order.

Problem is:

1) Oakland was lost to conventional law enforcement many years ago. Calls for some degree of military rule have abounded.

2) The present mayor of Oakland is an impotent joke, and both sides of the equation know this.

3) This basically just ratcheted things up several more levels. We may finally have our first death, and then what??

If the owners and their supporters really want their utopia, most of the protestors and many people like me will have to be exterminated.

So, in other words, their plan is coming together perfectly. Hell, just look at the anger in this thread.

Until the police refuse orders (which will NEVER happen, as it will destroy them), divide and conquer will work as planned.

Votes count if they get counted.

When I was on the Precinct Board, I was living in a city where I knew (if I did my job) the votes would be counted. (San Francisco)

The last two major elections, there have been reports _at my home precinct in Riverside_ that the votes were systematically destroyed, especially if they didn't fall within the political norm of this area.

and what good will that do...CONgress is in the banksters pockets. My congressperson bailout the banks because he felt it was the right thing to do. He is not paid to think in these cases, his constituents (by his own admission) overwhelmingly did not want to bailout the banks, he is paid to represent his constituents not his banker buddies. If CONgress would actually listen to their constituents none of this would be happening. These were probably the same young people who voted for Obama because he promised change, and are tired of empty promises.

Don't give up on Obama too soon.  I think he's finally understood no matter what he does the repukes will never, ever compromise with him.  They want him out much more than our country to succeed.

This is mainly the result of a GOP congress and the GOP filibuster.  If they would meet the people half way and try to come to some kind of agreement the people would feel some hope.  The injustice of it all is too much.  The numbers are actually worse than the early 20's and the only people doing well are the 1-2% at the top.  The rest of us are seeing our and our kid's futures flushed down the john.

I have no objection to a private citizen making trillions if he is providing a good or service of value and the buyers are free to buy or not. What, for example, would you pay for soemthing like a polio vaccine? Or a cure for lung cancer? It is entirely moral for individuals to dedicate their time and talents to producing things they can then sell. There is no limit in my mind as to how mch they can earn sing this method.

Then there are those who use the bludgeon of government to create the conditions of monopoly for them, to forcibly seize the earnings of the moral part of the country and redistribute it to scum like Solyndra or Fisker, or lavish it on unaccountable bureaucrats or public union employees. This is immoral. If your 1% is scumbag Jeffrey Immelt, or Jamie Dimon, or GS, etc. That is injurtice, delivered by your federal government, the instrument of tyranny. And it is that immoral, unConstiutional, lawless and evil tyranny that is flushing the future of millions down the drain.
