Egyptian Brutality Comes to America: Police Fire Rubber Bullets at Peaceful Protesters

George Washington's picture

This is not Egypt, Greece or Italy ... this is America:

The injured gentlemen is Veterans for Peace member Scott Olsen, allegedly shot with a rubber bullet.

This is another gentlemen allegedly shot in the face with a rubber bullet (his injury is above his right eye, while the injury to Scott Olsen appears to be on the left side of his face):

http://s1-02.twitpicproxy.com/photos/large/433190207.jpg

Here are police roughing up a peaceful woman protester:

And a policeman threw a flash grenade into a crowd trying to help an injured protester:

Some are calling this the "new Kent State".

And protesters from Tahrir Square, Egypt, say this is what it looked like there.

We do need revolution. This ain't real revolution though. This is stage managed B.S.

Sorry. Wish that wasn't true.

But it is.

http://www.economicpolicyjournal.com/

I could provide much more but why invest time into something so transparently manufactured as this OWS?

This isn't even an American phenomena (well it kinda is if you go to the deeper roots). It is part of the evil New world order game that has been going on since about forever.

OWS is just the latest twist and attempt to use controlled opposition (useful idiots) as a weapon against perceived loss of territory.

A kindergartner from a free world would laugh at this obvious crap.

It's 1984/animal farm old story obvious.

The 'blood & guts' are free.

Want real revolution?

Bring in NATO. That is when it gets real.

When obama and nancy and barney denounce it, THEN it is real.

This staged event ought to be an insult to the intelligence of anyone who knows a damn thing about how regimes play their games.

Gas Mask or bandana soaked in vinegar. - takes care of the CS GAS they used.

Ballistic Eyewear and helmet (bicycle or hockey will do)

You can use plastic or thick cardboard as body armor against rubber bullets.  Wear a cup!

Earplugs.  Any kind will do, shooting/combat earplugs are best so you can still hear what the hell is going on.

Im sure they had a sniper or 3 doing counter sniper and counter protestor w a firearm duty.  Sucks.

I can't legally post what should have happened to the pig that tossed the Flashbang at the down civilian (who was shot in head and is critical).  Oh fuck, yes I can, someone should have shot that fucking bastard in the motherfucking head with a .308 , test that faceshield out there tough guy.

I guess the police knew that they weren't in Texas.  Not likely to see much return fire from the crowd, huh?

You see, here in Texas the Penal Code addresses the use of excessive force by law enforcement officials, and allows the use of force, and including deadly force.

PC 46.05

46.05.
(c) The use of force to resist an arrest or search is justified:
(1) if, before the actor offers any resistance, the peace officer (or
person acting at his direction) uses or attempts to use greater force
than necessary to make the arrest or search; and

(2) when and to the degree the actor reasonably believes the
force is immediately necessary to protect himself against the peace officer's
(or other person's) use or attempted use of greater force than
necessary.

There is a reason why Kalifornia wants their citizens to be essentially unarmed....

How would a similar assault be greeted here in Texas?  Probably the same - for the first encounter.

Oh, those videos above were shot in Austin or College Station?  I must have missed that part.  Or maybe you are breaking some new story?  Please, enlighten us!

As far as your rant against the DREAM ACT, it's welfare, just by another name.  Are we happy that it was enacted?  No, but I would rather that those kids get better jobs and become taxpayers themselves.  It's sorta like having job skills training onsite (otherwise known as apprenticeship) - in the end the company sometimes wins.

You can tell they, and most Americans, are rookies at the whole protest thing. Experienced protestors throw the tear gas back at the cops, along with rocks, bottles, and other asundry items.

I've watched the local coverage and there has been little to no violence, unlike most Raider games. As for cleanup, how many of you packed out your garbage in the middle of a police action in your camp ground.

You got a lot of negative votes. I am with you on making money but as an investor, geopolitics creating localized colonization issues must be factored in as risks. II may choose to invest in Oakland or not. Markets will stay open until they can't. Then its more barter in various forms for a short time.

Look there is a lot of fear but also a lot of optimism. There is no need for a police state to grow investment made into America. If the people need
to blow off steam because the bankers fucked up on miscalculations followed by the temple priests looting, who am I to stop them?

Most OWS gatherings are open space solution sittings and I see almost zero calls for violence by the population. Strangulation of the American rape victim will have very wild unforseen consequences so it is best left abandoned and the people multiplying pennies to rebuild.

But the rule of law will be restored. Use more carrot, less stick. After forty years of more of the latter, the mule of labor is not only wandering off risking interruptions of supply chains they are kicking back. What worked a century ago in goliath instututions wont work the next twenty years. Micro economics and innovation is where the money will be made.

Here's a hint, Chuckles: It's kinda like when we see the smoke rising from the Chinese cities on satellite and wonder why no one saw it coming. Again.

Put more simply, corruption has destroyed capitalism and any investment, especially yours because you seem to be a doofus, can and will be snatched and eaten by the corrupt elite. Street protest in the USA, though amateurish by international standards, is worth noting as much as it is in other nations.

It took a fruit vendor immolating himself to start the Arab uprisings. Does the fate of oil have anything to do with making money? Does European corruption being turned into a self-defeating game by the rejection of austerity measures have anything to do with making money? Does the quarter million in new debt with your name on it given to Goldman and Friends have anything to do with making money? Bill Gross has admitted that no major asset class will be making ANY real return for the next ten years...because of corruption.

Oh, never mind. Keep reading, kid.

The sooner you get this through your cork-filled head, nozzle, the longer it'll take you to lose all your precious money. Capitalism without the rule of law is an oxymoron, a fiction. But don't take it from me. Let Uncle Milton Friedman--you've heard of him I'll bet--lay it out:

"Just after the Berlin Wall fell and the Soviet Union collapsed, I used to be asked a lot: 'What do these ex-communist states have to do in order to become market economies?' And I used to say: 'You can describe that in three words: privatize, privatize, privatize.' But, I was wrong. That wasn't enough. The example of Russia shows that. Russia privatized but in a way that created private monopolies-private centralized economic controls that replaced government's centralized controls. It turns out that the rule of law is probably more basic than privatization. Privatization is meaningless if you don't have the rule of law. What does it mean to privatize if you do not have security of property, if you can't use your property as you want to?"

Now, GW's post here shows irrefutable evidence of at least one cop bombing protesters who've merely come to the aid of an injured protester. That's viciously criminal behavior.

And your only response--in essence shooting the messenger--is "let's concentrate on making money"? Honest to God, what in the fuck is wrong with you?

this:

Asked why bankers would back Bolshevism, a system supposedly inimical to private ownership, Kahn took a pull from his enormous cigar and explained that the Illuminati Jewish bankers create apparent opposites to "remake the world" according to their satanic specifications:

"You say that Marxism is the very antithesis of capitalism, which is equally sacred to us [Illuminati Jewish bankers.] It is precisely for this reason that they are direct opposites to one another, that they put into our hands the two poles of this planet and allow us to be its axis. These two contraries, like Bolshevism and ourselves, find their identity in the International." [Presumably, he means the Comintern.] "(1)
