Goldman Sachs Outed On International TV

Reggie Middleton's picture

Some rather hard hitting reporting and analysis on the Vampire Squid...

Start at 2:20 into the video.

I have much more on this...

Yes, The BoomBustBlog Forecast Pan-European Bank Run Has Breached American Soil!!!

The Ironic, Prophetic Nature of the MF Global Bankruptcy Filing and It's Potential Ramifications

The Anatomy Of A European Bank Run: Look At The Banking Situation BEFORE The Run Occurs!

MF Global ran into a liquidity squeeze while betting on the European debt that I have warned my subscribers for two years to avoid like the plague. Goldman is doing the same thing, no?

As excerpted from the model that powers BoomBustBlog subscriber document Goldmans Sachs Derivative Exposure: The Squid in the Coal Mine?

goldman_balance_sheet_risk

As
you can see, Goldman traded its derivative book risk for sovereign risk
- just in the nick of time to catch the tail end of a derivative
crisis  & the start of a sovereign debt crisis. Excellent job
fellas! Goldman has literally doubled its sovereign assets, starting the
exact year that I started warning in the Pan-European Sovereign Debt Crisis series. BoomBustBlog subscribers covered this scenario over a year ago.

Good stuff Reggie, keep it up.

Glass table Laruen?  Yummy hot legs.

Matt Taibbi is worth listening to starting at the 26:40 mark.

Don't believe for a minute that widespread dissemination of this information won't lead to anti-U.S. revolts in Europe, or here in the U.S.

it is also totally ironic that a russian media outlet is the source for the most unadulterated news in the usa.

it is so ironic that the blow up of a hedge fund with a massive bet on the bailout of the eurozone would be a primary trigger for the bailout of the eurozone. i bet corzine and merkel will never be on friendly terms.

Fri, 12/02/2011 - 14:13 | 1939292 dcb
dcb's picture

This is what happened. corazine blows up IMF on purpose. the elites once more use the logice A(which is always beneficial for them more than us), that it would be a real danger to let europe default because it could drag down a company and wreck havoc in the world). then carazines goldman buddies are protected.

Fri, 12/02/2011 - 15:26 | 1939513 besnook
besnook's picture

i think corzine made the bet based upon the gameplan of the squid to take down the eurozone until they(merkel) were forced to aquiesce. the squid misread how determined merkel is not to succumb to the dollar and corzine was caught holding the bag. hopefully he goes to jail, too.

Just wondering if the Squid knows there is no risk and is now harvesting huge rates of return on ultra safe bonds. There is no risk because they are in charge of the bailout.

I'm a little leary of anything RT News (Russia Today).  It's not like they (Putin, Russia, etc..) are the bastion of democratic thinking.  If I had to choose the most corrupt nation on the planet I would have to say Russia and could base that on, among other things, the fact they have the highest concentration of billionaires in the world in Moscow.  Simple logic I know but valid for me.

Anyhow, seems like going from one propaganda center to another but maybe that is the nature of news today where you have to multi-source your news, measure against the extremes, and come up with you own opinion.

As compared to the"truth" that the American Mainstream Media tells you?

How many stories have you seen this week on the bill that is flying through Congress which would allow both a military invasion of America AND citizens to be held with NO due process?  With something so important, so contrary to the law of our land, you would think our media would be running info on this bill 24/7.

So, with our non-corrupted MSM, how many times have you heard of this bill?  A hundred?  Twenty?

Or NONE?

Wonder if the Russians are reporting on it?  Betcha' that Chavez is smiling thinking about how far we have fallen.

Sad day when I trust Russian media more than our own.  It was sad, but that day happened a long time ago.

Unplug from the Matrix and open your mind to the reality that what we are told is utter bullshit.

Fiat on.

Not to mention the complete media blackout on the China-style internet censorship bill SOPA that they are about to pass.

Not one mention of this anywhere in the MSM.

I appreciate your perspective but let's not be preachy.  I never said I trusted American (or European) MSM.  I couldn't say if MSM reported anything about the recent bills being passed through Congress because I haven't watched MSM for the last ten years now.  But to say that MSM is dishonest therefore RT News is honest (or vica versa) might be like jumping out of the pan into the fire.

This is the world we live in today and I will not give my blind faith or trust to anyone.  Trust in yourself and don't be lead.

Anyone who thinks that the government or the media in this country are more "honest" than the rest of the world has not been paying attention.

From the tortured stats we get about all things employment/economics related to the pronouncements of intentions to the coverage of what is really going on - we aren't at the top of the heap any more we are middling at best.

If I want critical info about China, I might read/listen/watch the BBC or even select US news publications (very few really). Conversely if I want anything approaching truth about the US, I need to go to at a MINIMUM the BBC and more likely German, French, Russian and even Chinese sources while having their own slant will be more likely to give me truth. The fact is all governments lie MASSIVELY about their own situation. They learned long ago the most effective propaganda is that grounded in truth. When your enemy is a wretched hive of scum and villiany you don't even have to make any shit up. Nobody has to make up shit about Chinese labor conditions to make them look bad. Conversely, nobody has to make up shit about Goldman Sachs to make them look bad in the financial world. Yes, question the source, but also ask "does the source even HAVE to lie here?".

Fri, 12/02/2011 - 15:43 | 1939564 besnook

but the irony of rt is that they don't have to spin the message to achieve their goal(as defined by the self interest of russia). they just have to report the important news truthfully.

I tend to agree with you and the commentor you are responding to.    Was thinking the same thing myself -- The news reporting of others tends to be your watchdog.

Anyhow, I wasn't trying to start a raucous.  Was just saying you always need to consider the source.  So long as they report the news and refrain from drawing the conclusions I'm ok with that.  Drawing a conclusion is like what MSM does during political debates.  After words everyone tunes in so the MSM can tell you how to interpret what you just got through watching and you're thinking "I just watched the damn thing myself.  I don't need anybody to tell about what I just watched.

You get 'em, "L". :-)

For the record, I have a lot of respect for Demetri and Lauren. Yeah, she's sexy but there's no indication whatsoever that she can't hold her own intellectually or from a loquacious perspective, with any other host/personality out there.

Personally, I happen to like sexy and well spoken. Mayhap part of her sex appeal is that she works the appropriate vocabulary for the show?

very interesting, I think that is the way these days if you care at all about whats happening.  Multi-source your news, you have to.  With rates at Zero, govt economics stretching the limits of reality with their accounting and a hyper-financialized world...the media is as much a policy option for the Fed as anything.    I've learned more from the articles and comments here than anywere.
