Liberty & Freedom - Are We Missing Warning Signs?

The kids need to be dressed & dropped off at school, you have your big presentation today, you've been working your ass off putting in long hours in hopes that someone will notice you and give you that promotion, and you told your wife you'd host family dinner this evening, knowing that your mother-in-law would be all over you for one reason or another. You don't have time for political nonsense - I get it.

Unfortunately, the elected officials we trust to keep our best interest in mind aren't always doing that. While we struggle just to get through the day, they put legislation together that starts to infringe on our personal liberties. While we hit the pillow exhausted after a long day, the President is giving speeches asking for more power, saying things like he's going against free market principles in order to save the free market, or flat out telling us that he'll act as an administrator if he has to in order to get things done that he knows are best for us. Are we missing our warning signs that our Constitutional Republic is in trouble? I believe so.

Great humor Imminent! I already decided, I am not leaving. Government grinding the people down to nothing? Even in the Soviet Union the people decided they had enough. Oops! How did that monkey wrench wind up in the machine?

The American people will get to this point as more printing and ZIRP forever rescind and further restrict capital formation (read opportunity). When a people cannot afford to eat and America is close, such are not restrained by camps or jail. Jail is 3 hots and a cot. I have been told of late this option may be better than the humiliation of feeding a family.

The bow will break in 2013. Take care of your family and local community. Act as leadership in a dark night. And don't forget to bring tge sense of humor. Funny people that amuse all tend to do better than the solemn stoics in these times.

The death of america begin until the gov't comes to take peoples guns. Once all hell breaks loose then I say its 50/50. the one things that america has on its side is its gov't works very slow which works to the people advantage.We've been trainning our citizens to be soldiers by playing xbox for 20 hrs a day. also, when the police and army soldiers are patrolling their neighbors, family, and friends at what point do you think they will disobey order, disappear, or turn against their masters? beside it will be very easy to eliminate all those pussy wimp, non-gunowners who believe in gov't everything to realize the gov't is not their friend; especially when you complain. Wake Up all you sleepy-heads because it wont be long before you are jolted awake to a world that we will never recognize. Learn the lessons of history from those that have lived in dictatorships and understand that yes, it can and is happening in America.

These ultra-low rates are killing the pensioner class. The farmer class was the first to benefit with rising land vaules and valuation for his crops. Throw in the commodity guy, the transportation guy and at some point maybe even the gold and silver miner guy and i think a bottom will finally have been reached. people have to learn to start living with their food producing friends. we've live a life of too much ignorance of the simple reality of things for too long. the rest of the planet does not have this luxury. "they will buy that cow and hope that it arrives just as ordered." stop the immigration of people to the USA...start the emigration of food out of here! if the price of hells half acre soars by ten fold as consequence...SO BE IT!
