Maiden Lane LLC | Rep. Alan Grayson: You Own the Red Roof Inn, Thanks to the Fed

4closureFraud's picture

In light of the Federal Reserve annoncement today regarding the Credit Suisse/Maiden Lane purchase, I felt this was worth sharing.

It's a CLASSIC!

The US and the Fed are set to be the largest lardlords in America when in reality they shouldn't have the power to own a single person's private property.

Grayson is a Democrat.. that is why you got the 8 thumbs down..

the fact that he and Ron Paul see eye to eye on 95% of everything..

the fact that grayson is a self made guy.. not a trust fund baby from the lucky sperm club..

the fact that Grayson fought the good fight and that the Idiots in the swamps of Orlando could not re-elect him..

should make him good enough for all of us here in fight club..

but people run home to their core programing when they are under stress or duress is involved.

Dont let the cowards that are letting thier true colors shine through.. discourage your very logical choice for the betterment of the working class of America..

let those eight (8) people go suck some job creator dick.. they can call it Gods Work!

He will be a Fed Gov in no time, watch and learn how the dark side works it's black magic.

I liked him until I read this:

http://www.pjvoice.com/v45/45301grayson.aspx

Grayson: "I met with Howard Kohr, the head of AIPAC [American Israel Public Affairs Committee], twice last week"

PJV: And what was the gist of the conversation?

Grayson: The gist of the conversation was that Iran is a tremendous threat to Israel and needs to be stopped. And I agree with that.

PJV: And what about what is going on in the Gaza Strip; was there any conversation about that?

Grayson: Yes, we talked about that. I think what AIPAC often tries to do is to educate Members of Congress who frankly follow this a lot less closely than I do. In my case, I read Haaretz and the Jerusalem Post online four or five times a week, so I am pretty familiar with the circumstances and why the war took place. As a famous Israeli once said, the Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

...I thought that the Osirak attack [by Israel on Iraq] in 1981 was justified and I think that a similar attack today against Iran would be justified. If such an attack took place and Israel were to do it, I would immediately issue a statement saying that I support Israel and its right to ensure its own existence.

Grayson isn't wrong about everything. But he is wrong about so many actually important things. He is an opportunist politician along the mold of Algore and wannabe micheal moore. I'm down on the mortgage fraud outrage to some extent. I get it that shady practices were rampant. Grayson and his ilk though don't go to heart of the beast. The Federal government and the Fed.

Uh, use them for welfare housing instead of building thousands of $250k townhomes for the permanent underclass. Welfare housing should be something you strive to move out of, not to make middle class people envious.

Taxpayers won't have to worry for very long about owning these properties.  The FED would like to sell them to their big $$$$money buddies for pennies on the dollar AND of course stick the taxpayers with the DEFICIT.

Surprise surprise!

The neatest part of the plan is that the entities involved will be broken up (including the FED) to cater to popular sentiment, but the principal actors will get nothing more than a slap on the wrist, despite ultimately receiving all the spoils.  I know I always characterize limited liability entities as the fuselage on a rocket, to be jettisoned at the most opportune time, but it really is applicable.

Tell that to all those political activists with their "ends justifying their means" ways. To them, crime is only about intent, never mind the reality of the action taken.

That maybe true, but the time will come when the 1percenters who are not lying below the money spigot with their mouths open will realise fed actions are chipping away at their vast wealth.

The great "money tap" game only benefits those that have access to the "fiat faucet". There are a fairly significant number of 1 percenters who do not, and the time will come when they start to get real pissed off about that.
