Is there one representative not fearful of Bankers or Wall Street. Besides, the message is too indistinct, to open to evaluation, interpretation. Who are the suits in some of the NYC protest videos (like the guy in the red suit in the first clip)? Wall St. private security? Detectives? Feds? They look like the cheese dicks that you might see going into seedy hotel nightclubs.

I see some individuals with suits helping protesters up from the ground. However, there is one guy in a suit with a red shirt (not red suit) that looks to be roughing up and warning one of the protesters. I'm perplexed. Were I a protester I'd be wary of any suit.
After reading almost all of the posts here, I find it amazing that many condemn the OWS protesters for (gasp) wanting a chance to attain the American Dream of access to upward mobility and a decent life. It’s also disheartening to see lots of posters are apparently so frightened by the OWS movement that they resort to marginalizing the protesters using their favorite MSM boogey-man du jour labels -hippies, union sympathizers, Obama supporters, and so on ad nauseum. I woke up at 4:00 this morning with a 'set of demands' in my head needing to be written down. I am test-driving it here and Naked Capitalism and a few other places (I will cross-post to GW and ZH a couple of times). What do folks think? This isn't the 'fix the world' demand list (no troops home now, tax reform, border defense, prayer in school etc.), nor even the 'everything financial' list (excludes high frequency trading/dark pools/derivatives etc.). The intent is to break the back of corruption and hedge against catastrophic risk.

1. Immediately implement mark-to-market accounting rules which were improperly suspended, allowing six months for implementation.
2. Companies must reserve against impaired assets under mark-to-market rules

Any health or life insurance company with more than $100 million in assets must report on their holdings and risk factors, specifically including exposure to real estate, mortgage-backed securities, derivatives, and other exotic financial instruments. These reports will be to state insurance commissions and the federal government, and will also be made available to the public on the Internet.
B. PENSION FUNDS
1. All private and public pension funds must disclose their funding status and establish a plan to fully fund accounts under the assumption that net real returns across all asset classes remain at zero for at least ten years
If you haven't already, I suggest joining your local occupy movement and share this with them. You can find them on facebook or on the main occupy together website - http://www.occupytogether.org/. There are clubs popping up in all major cities. It is a movement that is growing and changing. Be part of the change and help direct it.
Under the " A. FEDERAL RESERVE" one might consider removing all "favored status" no more Foriegn delegate" rights within America, no more "can say or do anything" not involving violent crime. Can be held responsible for communications or possesions they have on their person. These are Americans, and the idea they have total protection to all intents and purposes, as if they were Foriegn Dignitaries is just to much.
Not that we all don't know already the two tiered system of Citizenary in America, work for the govt... or be a common person.
