TROIKA HELL (The New Crony Crapitalist Utopia)

I am not even going to address the technical and economic viability of the latest farce unveiled in Brussels. It is handled quite capably in other posts today.

However, I will say this. I recall very distinctly how globalist institutions such as the IMF and the EBRD piled into Central and Eastern Europe after the Berlin Wall fell and lectured everyone about the primacy of the rule of law, private property and freedom of contract. My how that all rings so very hollow in the world of bailout crapitalism.

This whole back door bailout scenario, standing by while the ECB gets preferential treatment and the PSIs get CAC'd, makes a mockery of all that free market rhetoric does it not? It is essentially another clever backdoor bailout. Suck up all the shitty piggy bonds from the banks and then by magical central bankster alchemy turn them into senior notes.

The ultimate denouement of all of this is to build a new European investment banking utopia based on rape, pillage and privatise. You better believe it's on every hungry bankster planning easel.

Pay attention BRICs.

Beware of crony crapitalists in pinstripes and brogues.

The Mayan/Inca? inspired mandala-esqe piece is inspiring stuff!

(As you may grasp I'm not an authority on that), but as i see it, the retroactive / anachronistic theme seems to prove something old folks may have known about. Guess they weren't necessarily hinting at immediate catastrophe. Possibly reaching a transition / shift. We've clearly stopped moving forward in any meaningful sense?

Dragon year here, big changes in power. Hedging accordingly!

It's easy to poke fun at Freemasons, especially if you're not part of the craft. First and foremost, no matter what the US has become, the Founders were predominantly Freemasons. So, one could say that the US and the Constitution are ultimately Masonic conspiracies. For the truly curious, read the first six degrees of Scottish Rite masonry -- not hard to find online.

European Freemasons were (and probably still are) more devious due to the antagonism with the Bishop of Rome.

The conspiracy theory stuff makes good novels, nothing more. And, yes, before the tirades begin, I am a 32nd degree member of the craft.

Maybe you think all the occultism is all shits and giggles.  Just remember that Satan has many names.  But please tell us this:  At the third degree, Masons supposedly swear on their life to conceal all crimes commited by Masons except for murder and treason, and it is best to conceal those as well.  This would mean that they would cover up pedophilia, perversion of justice, torture, epic fraud, etc.  Did you take this oath?  If they let you advance to the 33rd degree, you will supposedly swear an oath to cover up ALL crimes by Masons, including murder and treason.

The Masons may have been good guys before 1776, but then the Illuminati took over.  Masonry now works to undermine the vision of the Founding Fathers.

The main purpose of the lower levels of Masonry is placate the conspiracy theorists and to allow the puppetmasters to select those who will serve their dark purposes.  They won't break out the real juicy stuff even at your degree, so you are either a dupe or a propagandist.

The Masons were powerful and corrupt by the 1830s.  A Mason named William Morgan wrote a book about them and they killed him for it and tried to bury the investigation.  People were better in those days, and the public backlash was epic.  Most Masons quit when they realized what their superiors were doing.  Our first third party was founded:  The Anti-Masonic Party! http://www.dailypaul.com/62031/the-anti-masonic-party I'm sure you knew this but neglected to mention it.

Masonry is powerful and corrupt today.  Check out the number of colossal douchebags on this list, which probably doesn't include the truly dangerous Masons because Wikipedia is a creature of the CIA.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Freemasons

I see Albert Pike is on the list.  In the late 1800s, he talked about fomenting three world wars, with the final war being so destructive that it would lead to "the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer".  WWI and WWII went according to plan, and the stage is set for WWIII.  Did you hear about this by the 32nd degree, or is it a strictly 33rd-degree secret?

It has become very clear to me how this is all going to develop over the next set of years.

Any investor that puts his money in government bonds had better be ready to lose much , most or all of his/her principal over time. Since the banks own a good deal of the bonds and they will not be allowed to fail (at least the biggest ones), the outcome will be to soak up the available capital from other sources through legislated tools, PSI and CAC. If taxes aren't enough and they almost never are from the government view, money will be taken from all available sources whether legal or not. Look at Geithner and how he has floated the US government during the times of highest crisis in the government, he took money from government employee retirement funds. When the law gets in the way, they will change the law. When the debt becomes too excessive (as with Greece), the debt will be written down in major haircut fashion with preferential treatement given to governmental instituations and agencies (the ECB), and then the banks. Note all are under the control and influence of the global financial elite. Individual investors will be shut out of the process over time. Geithner and others at his level have no regard for the legality, they will take the money if they have it, take no prisoners, and answer questions later if they are so inclined (which most likely they won't be). Look at Social Security and its 2.5 - 3 trillion in government bonds, it all gets eaten up in the money machine known as the US Treasury.

And if the investment pool dries up enough over time, the pols will change the laws to tap things like personal tax-deferred retirement assets and other sources of major potential money. The only part they refrain from is political opposition by the people, but other than that, you had better believe the pols in all the countries affected by the debt crisis have a contingency action plan in place to legislate legality of touching these assets in times of national emergency crisis. Another tool I expect may implement eventually is the abolition of interest on government notes entirely, to reduce burdens on our overly extremely bloated federal government. One advantage of this of course would be to reduce and eliminate the growth of the money supply, but would certainly reduce incentive to place these investments. But OTOH, look at how people are buying these notes now anyway with the tiniest of interest.

Expect a lot more major haircutting in the future, that will be the government's way to deal with the debt crisis (since they can only raise taxes with the greatest of difficulty). When CAC can be retroactively established, and operating rules set by unilateral act of government, it's game over. If your money is with them, it's not coming back or at least not all of it unless you are able to sell your stuff before this comes full circle. What happens this September in the USA when we hit the debt ceiling again? Another political football coming up as planned by the GOP. This may be their ace in the hole on how they plan to get their man in the White House. The USA has nothing to preach about when it comes to Greece, PIIGS or other debtor nations, the USA is by far the worst in this regard as we all know in absolute indebtedness. But of course when one can change the debt level by act of Congress or legislature, and reduce the debt by haircut with the sweep of a pen, then this is not anywhere near the concern the Armageddon people have been forecasting.

We need to start calling them what they are, they're fascists.

A capitalist takes his ass whipping and starts over.

These fuckers get their funding through the state, crash shit left & right and go sniveling back to mommy. And with mommy's help and blessing, they both take more & more out of private sector hands until they have it all.

On "legal paper" anyways, until the people have their fill of it and we do a reset. What's amazing to me is none of them appear to be historians.

Tue, 02/21/2012 - 20:47 | 2182888 williambanzai7

I have been doing a fair amount of reading and thinking about the fascist comparison. There are many comparisons that can be made, but strictly speaking it does not match the fascist phenomena of the inter World War period.

The people who are considered scholars on the subject caution that there is no satisfactory definition of it.

I am persuaded by the view that it is a process like social phenomena that emerges from latent human nature when conditions are right.

The marriage of state and the private sector is not a purely fascist phenomena. It is totalitarian and/or authoritarian.

The best description of what we are seeing that I have come across is inverted totalitarianism. The situation where the private sector firmly holds the puppet strings of the state. This is what the banksters and their overlords have clearly accomplished. Once they have the government under their thumb, all the other features of totalitarianism begin to emerge, such as homeland security, SOPA, NSDA etc.

Where it all gets interesting is how this situation is creating ideal conditions for the interwar style of fascism to reemerge. Economic loss in the middle class, xenophobic or victim reaction, social malaise, fanaticism etc.

Greece is a prime example of a fascist tinderbox. But so is the US. This all resonates with what happened in Europe previously.

One interesting psychological question is why the victims are willing to follow despite the fact that doing so is directly contrary to their individual interests. What drives sheeple to ignore the obvious.

I have a bad feeling about this.

We are clearly in a period when we should be alert to developments with fascist potential, particularly the brand of fascism that justifies the means it employs by the ends served. The concept of the ends justifying the means is clearly gaining traction. This EURO bailout is yet another example.

Thoughtful as always. Thanks.

The best thumbnail description of of fascist vs communist was from an old friend:

"In fascism, business runs the government. In communism, the government runs business."

Based on that, I would say we are very much on the fascist side, as the elite special interests (Fed and its board member banks, certain large multinationals) seem to be very much in control. This obtained in Hitler's Germany - a good reference would be "The Arms of Krupp" by William Manchester. Fascinating read, if long.

For a good look at the social side, I would recommend Detlev Peukert's book "Inside Nazi Germany", an interesting social history. One of the more interetsing observations was the destruction of religion and tradition as vital social forces. I would argue there has not been a true religious war since the 1600's, but it is inarguable religion has been a lever of power over people for quite some time. What Peukert noticed was the Nazis destroyed the vitality of religion, but had nothing to replace it with beyond a cult of personality. As to why they wanted to destroy it, notice the 10 commandments, however much they are ignored, at least have the decency to not distinguish between the ruler and the ruled. Dimon, Corzine, &etc are still thieves and liars, despite the lack of prosecution. Cults of personality are a bit more... discriminating? In several senses of the word, no doubt.

Your question about the common people is one I have given little thought to, but I can hazard a guess. One of the fundamentals of programming, interrogation, and cult control is overload, and another is helplessness in the face of authority. For overload, look at TV (if you dare). Sensory overload is a classic on many commercials - the fast pace, the bright colors, the loud voices and songs, Fear is another common overload item - why else focus so much on crime? Useful to crush the ability of people to form common cause against an abusive system Helplessness in the face of authority - it not just being stripped naked and handcuffed for interrogation, how about "it's so complicated you cannot possibly understand it."

One question that came to me after a bit - if not the govt, then what do they have left to believe in?

Sorry iif I took too long.

BTW and totally OT, I have an old "recruitment" poster from a campaign back in the late 70's you might like. It's old, faded and completely non-professional, but it may be useful - "Join the Holy Fungolian Empire and BE a SERF!"

You are describing exactly what sites like ZH and Alex Jones are about. Nothwithstanding that they are presenting the truth, they (particularyly AJ) are presenting it stridently and with great rapidity ... to create an overload and a feeling of helplessness in the face of inevitability. In short, to create depression.

It would be well for all here to remember that while actively participating.

Good observation.

"In fascism, business runs the government. In communism, the government runs business."

On the nazis and religion, that's how I view it too. It was completely hallowed out by them. Nothing but going through the motions and the symbols remained under them.

With the deity replaced by Hitler himself.

This is why religion and the state should always be separate. They should be balanced against each other as counter weights, never allowed to become one and the same.

I think at this point, it's what the people understand that counts, as far as fascism is concerned.

People should understand, inherently, (whether red or blue) that a marriage between their government and any group or corporation is ultimately bad for them, as it always leads to an authoritarian state. The capture of their representatives.

It doesn't matter if it's solar companies or oil companies or health insurance companies or MIC companies. Private/public partnerships are always bad for the people but sold under the pretense of being a public good.

"One interesting psychological question is why the victims are willing to follow despite the fact that doing so is directly contrary to their individual interests. What drives sheeple to ignore the obvious."

Their education.

What also keeps the lower and middle classes in line is the monthly stipend from the state.

Without that and the Feds unconstitutional printing ability, it all breaks loose, as clearly tax "revenues" do not pay the governments bills and promises. In the process of seeing that that doesn't happen, "mommy" has to be re-elected to keep the marriage intact. And we both know, the only real money comes from producing something of value.

At the end of it, much is made of debt, but it holds no real value, only a promise to repay backed by contract law...which in the end is only backed by the people...or not.

////////////////////////////

Edit; I was blunt about education and it's true purpose...

"We want one class of persons to have a liberal education and we want another class of persons, a very much larger class of necessity, to forgo the privileges of a liberal education." --Woodrow Wilson, 1909

It's been going on for some time and at the start, they were quite clear in their intent, now, not so much.

Anyone of average intelligence knows what that quote means...of necessity.

Include religion and behavioral mores in education.

Not that religion is fascist, but it mines the same human ore.

But there are many behavioral mores held out as standard or "normal" today.

With the decline in religious participation (me being one, it's been many years) we can't now say with any certainty it's led us here today, as the trajectory is still downward.

Many nazis were in fact Christian, if only in religious identification.

But the same can be said and there is no doubt, that a priest that abuses the trust and the children of his flock, is no Christian. The children are to be protected at any and all costs.

Never abused.

That is what evil is at it's core to me. The abuse of trust. The preying on the innocent.

One simple man, given trust and power over others, should always be looked at with a jaundiced eye until proven capable of holding it.

Never praised just because he aquired it by birth or vote.

Tue, 02/21/2012 - 23:47 | 2183300 williambanzai7

It's not the content of the religion as much as the flock conditioning. We are conditioned to be followers from a very young age. The whole system is involved. Religion has been eclipsed by consumerism, but it is the same principle more or less. follow the herd, join the flock.

To be counter-consumption is the new cultural heresy.

The next step in the matrix is virtual consumption. Zyngaism

"To be counter-consumption is the new cultural heresy."

lol...yes, when the going gets tough, the tough go shopping. But it's still a voluntary action taken by individuals.

Well, it used to be, until the state interjected itself into that voluntary activity with ObamaCare. Now one will be forced to engage in consumerism or face a penalty/fine imposed by the state.

With modern western religions, if you don't tithe your just looked down on by the group for not pulling your fair share, but it's still voluntary.

And of course, you can opt out of any religion if you want to. There is no opt out with the state ;-)

Geologist Beau Tox resents that comment.  Beau Tox is independent Christian and Paultard.

True religion is not subject to politico/economic dictates, but more closely adheres to existential

necessities.  True religion is grokable by absolute retard or vegetable saint.

Law is the relation between people of equal forces; practically never when dominant position makes equality before Law a fantasy exercise. But there is a story behind the story; its the story of infighting between Euro Oligarchs and Anglo Oligarchs. Its not just sheeple against Oligarchs. Here in Euroland the Greeks are first victims of a tug of war between Anglo and Euro Oligarchs. The story of unprincipled markets against unprincipled Euro Banks and Euro sovereigns.

It looks like the Anglo Oligarchs got their way by making the EUro Oligarchs aligned to print to infinity. When Merkel/Trichet lost out and Draghi came in, it was game  changer. Having said that, Merkel was wrong to not have seen the Euro Banking debacle building up from day one and not to have gone joint and several on EUrobonds and fiscal discipline right from 2009. It would have saved a lot of pain and also the humiliation now of bending to GS dictat, which is now the "German" dictat; aligned to US Oligarchy position. The Euros had no idea what they were up against. That's obvious now.

Tarp is now Tarp squared in Euro land.

"Contracts are made to be broken."...right?

..or at least that's what I learned in MBA School.
