Note: By comparing the video above with prior videos of Scott Olsen's shooting, I believe that video experts should be able to confirm the identity of the shooter and the guy who threw the tear gas canister in the middle of the group trying to rescue Scott Olsen.

GW, I don't think this video will help much in identifying the shooter. You can see, in video on your last thread on the topic, that he slips to the back and tosses the flashbang grenade from the back ranks of the cops. He may have just kept going after that. Why are we all enamoured of military folks? After all, they bought hook line and sinker into the 'serving your country' and are the epitome of 'agents of the state'. As an active military member you are required to listen to orders, no matter the oath you take to only obey 'lawful' orders. Yes being active military is dangerous, lonely, takes sacrifice and definitely requires some courage to be deployed. But aren't the US citizens who run homeless shelters, food banks, goodwill stores, serving their country? I don't see how the pilots over Libya and the spec ops/CIA special activities division soldiers on the ground in Yemen, Uganda, etc are out there 'defending our freedoms'. They are all serving the state. They are executing the will of the state. The will of the POTUS, definitely NOT the will 'of the people'.

As a Navy vet, I have immense respect the this Second Class Petty Officer. Unfortunately, he'll probably be court-martialed and thrown into a Federal Penetatiary to rot in order to deter any other like-minded active duty military members from supporting these demonstations.
