Blame the Baby-Boomers for all the ongoing disgraces of this country, that's why they are considered America's failed generation. These good-for-nothing invested their deprived intellect in experimenting with all types of drugs and having very promiscuous (and many times deviant/unnatural) sexual lives.

You are right. DNA is very, very important. And does change or can be damaged by the environment or bad nutrition along with sperm / egg quality. DNA looks like an antennae - does it receive frequencies? energy? I don't know, but I don't think humans know half of what it does.

Yes, in some ways. But US does not have much of a central plan for getting other countries technologies such as requiring transfer of same for doing business in US or employing many hackers to search for what's left, requiring transfer of technology to joint venture "partners" who quickly become the leader, etc. Chinese roam around even the most secure parts of our networks at will taking whatever they want - effective central plan. China now bigger car market than US, recently got one of our drones and planning for moon - pretty effective compared to bicyles and not enough rice 40 years ago.

And banking in the U.S. - probably not anywhere right now - is obviously not a free market. Banks are protected from competition, and their activities are distorted by the fed's interest rate targeting and the implicit put that is provided to most financial institutions bondholders. True but going from bicycle shortage to world's largest car market is pretty impressive progress. Banking and most other things in China are not free market either. Yes, given an entire continent of natural resources and fertile land and freedom to exterminate the present inhabitants while possessing superior technology, free market works great. If we had cheap, fast interstellar space flight and a wide range of inhabitable planets, it would work great again.

The irony is that you list all of these industries but neglect to mention the intellectual theft occurring in China that has helped spur them to get to the level they're at. Economies of scale are at play in those countries and American companies are enabling that to get out while the gettin's good in the 'Ol USA. The American corporations, who are too dumb to realize that the premium they pay in the US gives them a certain level of real protection against blatant and obiquitous theft, desrve exactly what they get in the long run.

Yes, I believe many companies especially mid-size and lower are starting to realize that there are "other" costs associated with dealing with China other than their dirt cheap labor. You send your drawings over there and several months later you'll start to see lower priced knockoffs of your widget that you are having produced their for US markets. But since yours cost more, you get driven out of the market. All because you wanted to "save" on labor costs. Many are getting the clue that automation and keeping the IP (drawings, how to make processes) close-hold are a better strategies. Also, turn around is faster than having to ship overseas, so market opportunities can be quickly jumped on if production is in the US.
Granted the intellectual theft of China. That is centrally planned and very effective.
