As '11 Ends, 11 Charts Of 11 Disturbing 11 Year Trends

Tyler Durden's picture

As we pop the corks of our proverbial champagne this weekend with an eye to a better year ahead, perhaps it is worth thinking about these 11 incredible trends that have evolved in a rather disturbing manner over the last 11 years. As John Lohman points out, the 21st century has not been pretty for ongoing centrally planned attempts to defer the 30 year overdue mean reversion.

Is there a problem officer?

Blame the Baby-Boomers for all the ongoing disgraces of this country, that's why they are considered America's failed generation. These good-for-nothing invested their deprived intellect in experimenting with all types of drugs and having very promiscuous (and many times deviant/unnatural) sexual lives.

In fact, the following video taken at Woodstock in 1969 clearly depicts what Baby-Boomers were all about:

Consequently, their offspring are the best evidence that defect genes have been transmitted from one generation to the next; worst of all, the chances that their descendants' DNA carrying a more complex sequence of these defective genes are 100% guarantee -these new generation of Americans can fairly be described as subhumans.

100% Agree...he has this same copy and paste text insult all over the place.  Free speech or not, he is trying to hyjack the article (and has done so many, many times with the same copy print regardless of the subject)

IGNORE HIM, don't reply.  He is setting you up, don't bite the bait.  He is a plant looking for suckers.  Don't believe me, just look at all the comments below until it it one word on top of the next word in a column.

This guy is spamming, everyone has seen this several times, remove the post.

Sam Clemons's picture

Free speech?  No wonder fascism is so prevalent in our country.

Stuck on Zero's picture

Free?  No.  It costs our time and someone's website space.  He can stand on a soapbox in a park and rant.

Sam Clemons's picture

Its humourous how ready all of you are to shut someone up.  Most people's comments on here (Gold, bitchez!!) could be considered junk or spam just as easily.  My comment above could be construed as spam; along with yours.

It is only a matter of perspective of what bothers you.  You guys are turning into a lynch mob to get rid of this guy - congrats!  The more fools on ZH that like your comment might only be showing the collective ignorance.  Let the website owners determines what is cleaned, not a group people who disagree with the post.

Does it really bother you that much that you have to skip over his post?

narapoiddyslexia's picture

There's free speech, and there's spamming. Wanker is a spambot who's sole purpose is the attempted distraction from the issues.  My hypothesis is that its a Obama/Bush/Rovian spambot seeking to distract everyone from the disaster of the American government. Milspec psychobabble. Moreover, its been repeated a thousand times. Its no longer speech.

Flakmeister's picture

Yep... there's free speech and then there are corporate interests spamming almost every fucking major media with their message....things like burning coal is good for you, just like cigarettes were.... I could go on, but I am sure you get the gist....

boiltherich's picture

The Wankster is free to spew his speech on any street corner or in any commercial venue that wants to support his message, this website is private property and just does not have to tolerate it.  There is very diverse opinion and schools of thought here and nearly all of it is accepted at face value, but what the Wank posts is pure hate with no redeeming value.  There are in fact a dozen or so of his ilk here out of thousands of daily visitors, and I am never ever ceasing to be amazed at the plasticity of the right wingers here, you all who say the public airwaves must conform to "community standards" when it comes to TV and crap you don't like and would censor, like condom commercials, but here the community does not count?  Fuck that bullshit.  I say we impose community standards and give Sir Wanksalot the boot.

Flakmeister's picture

Hate speech is pretty easy to define... but that ain't the problem.... As for Wanklord, ignore him...

On the subject of hatemongers, whatever happened to the Koran burning minister in Fla??

Mauibrad's picture

Time to call a spade a spade.  Blame Obama for the past 3 years equals almost half of all of the worst results in the prior 200+ years of the nation.

tmosley's picture

I love how you failt to see the distinction between "the right to free speech shall not be infringed" by a document limiting the powers of the GOVERNMENT, and "private property rights".

This website belongs to Tyler and Co, and they decide what speech goes here.  Free speech has nothing to do with it, beyond the fact that the owners of this website allow pretty much anything to be said here, short of genuine threats.

hbjork1's picture

At last a post from the real world.  I expect my youngest grandkids to spend a lot of time in fantasy.   When so many grown men (or women?) spend their time there I gotta worry.  Fertile ground for the kind of politicians we dont' want.

r00t61's picture

Free speech is about the government not censoring your message.

Free speech is not about private websites removing obvious spam-in-a-can material that gets cross-posted to every new thread known to man, in obvious scripted bot-like fashion.

No wonder ignorance of the Constitution is so prevalent in our country.

Sam Clemons's picture

I know the Constitution and that it has grounds in natural law for dealing with one another.

Free speech is a kind way in dealing with each other.  This is one reason it was adopted.  Yes, its designed to protect citizens from their government, but those basic self-evident principles can be used in every day life.  Are you saying the government should be held to higher standards than the people?  That is impossible in a government formed by the people.

Relax.  You guys are acting childish.  TD will remove them if he wants to.

AldousHuxley's picture

Nothing is truely free

There are consequences to your actions and speech.

Isn't that the whole point of influence others' thoughts?

Plus free speech for retards just becomes damn annoying for those who actually think before speaking. Just turn on the TV for proof.

Sam Clemons's picture

So is the issue here that people disagree with his thoughts on baby boomers?

NooooB's picture

Free speech is free speech. Spamming is spamming. Trolling is trolling.

Learn it. Know it. Live it.

nmewn's picture

Shouldn't you be directing that at wanklord?

Free speech allows wanklord the freedom to present himself as a complete idiot anytime he sees fit.

Which is a right widely recognized in America. It carries along with it no obligation whatsoever on anyones part to lend any credence to any of his tiring rants. Much less any reason to comment on them.

To say (if you've followed any of his or MDB's meandering delusions) that "the" problem is baby to ignore what "the" problem really is.

Simply, he supports a statist, plantation style kleptocracy 100% anywhere on the planet.

Ask him about an individuals rights vs. the oligarchs "right to rule" as they see fit sometime. His definition of free speech is not the same as yours or mine if thats what you're thinking.

nmewn's picture

Sometimes I think they travel in packs like yapping hyenas...always good for a laugh ;-)

We need a new name for the specie...Hysterus Trollus?

Sam Clemons's picture

I guess I don't pay enough attention here because I rarely notice trolls or spammers or just have an auto filter that skips over their crap.  I didn't know it was that prevalent.  Therefore, I will default to the more common ZHer's opinion on this guy.

nmewn's picture

Well, filters are fine I guess.

But you have to have them set at the proper level to gain any real value from them ;-)

This is what my filter detected...

"Consequently, their offspring are the best evidence that defect genes have been transmitted from one generation to the next; worst of all, the chances that their descendants' DNA carrying a more complex sequence of these defective genes are 100% guarantee -these new generation of Americans can fairly be described as subhumans."

Surely you recognize the failed scientific theory of eugenics.

Always remember...there are still blue blooded psychopaths who firmly believe in it to this very day. And there are also little toadies (like wanklord) who promote it.

Kindest regards to you Sam.

Are you kidding's picture

You're a fool if you don't think that genes matter.

nmewn's picture

"You're a fool if you don't think that genes matter."

And you are a fool to think that fallible men (like wanklord, MDB etc.) can create a master race. Or is it merely the appearance of superiority that you desire?

Sam Clemons's picture

You are right.  DNA is very, very important.  And does change or can be damaged by the environment or bad nutrition along with sperm / egg quality.  DNA looks like an antennae - does it receive frequencies? energy?  I don't know, but I don't think humans know half of what it does.

Viruses becoming part of our junk DNA in the past: - NOT inserting to start a war between creationists and evolutionists...

Probably the master race of aliens can use it for communicating without speech.  Kind of the same way people feel attraction or ESP or uncomfortable around certain people without knowing why.

We just aren't there yet, and may be programmed to never get there.  Ever wonder why our DNA is limited to not produce vitamin C (unlike almost every other  mammal) or we have junk DNA or we use 10% of our brain power.  We are limited to being a weak species no matter how proud we pretend to be.

StychoKiller's picture

Has ye olde Wanklord EVER responded to anyone's comments re:  His/her incessant posting of the same statement(s) over and over again?  I'm of the opinion that Wanklord is either a bot or a member of some internet "water army."  In either case, (s)he is wasting bandwidth and everyone's time (to what end?)

floridasandy's picture

people disagree with his attempts to divert the public from the real problem.

but i do think that he should be allowed to speak, and we should be allowed to see through him.

tmosley's picture

Consumers have the right to complain about things that annoy them.  Or are you one of those that think that a free market means only that corporations get to do what they want, where the rights of individuals are restricted?

Sam Clemons's picture

I don't think the latter, but you did make a good point.  Thanks.

One of the most disturbing trends of 2011 is the mindless cut and paste shit of the asshole, wanklord.

New_Meat's picture

several trolls in these-here parts with the cut'n-paste fetish.  Really an insult to spam.

But this isn't a 2011 phenome, been going on a long time, since at least Bernays.

Greenie on ya and a happy new year.

TheFourthStooge-ing's picture

Because he copied-and-pasted this exact same pile of shit here already, I've elected to copy-and-paste my response, which is more than idiots like him deserve:

More copy-and-paste feces from wanklord.

To see how far and often he's tried to fling this particular turd, a google search for "deprived intellect in experimenting" (include the quotation marks) will reveal his digital detritus.

He never reads followups to his comments, or even the articles that he's supposedly commenting on, so he doesn't even realize that he's been figured out.

Instant Karma's picture

So this article indicates that Government statistics are fudged when initally realeased for propaganda purposes, and the revisions cumulatively are damning. Inflation and debt and unemployment are destroying the buying power and standard of living for the middle class. Stocks more accuractely reflect the state of the economy as they have been stagnant in nominal terms for a decade, while losing money each year to inflation. Only commodities such as gold or ammo has provided some protection against inflation. It's all a government ponzi lie.

Yes, like the GLOWING yet so nauseating evening news last night that spent a full ten minutes on the first headline story of the day about the brilliant red hot new jobs market.  They not only took the twisted and manipulated data from the BS, ahem I mean BLS, and hyped it and spun it till I thought I would puke they even had the huge main graphic that showed 375,000 with a red arrow pointing down so that some idiots would think that unemployment claims dropped by 375,000 when that number was the 4 week moving average not the 381,000 new claims for this week which by the way they did not even mention the increase from last week or any revisions ever.

I was agape at the balls they showed with that report, it was pure MOT (Ministry of Truth).  No wonder NOBODY watches network evening news anymore, and I so rarely do, maybe 5 times a year, I have simply referred to it as the Obama Show since 2008.  Half the time the leading story is where he is golfing at this week.

I did it by Occident's picture

I watch the evening news for the pure entertainment value.  lots of laughs, but crying on the inside.  :(

I did it by Occident's picture

also to see what "programming" they are feeding the masses in order to figure out how to deprogram those that can be salvaged.

"Enjoy" your red pill, and thanks for playing.  Johnny, what lovely parting gift do we have for our contestant?

Ron Paul 2012!  Re-peg the Dollar to a Gold standard... I dare ya!  But be sure to buy *before* it happens ;)

StychoKiller's picture

The "Presstitutes" and propaganda ministers are relying on the fact that the Ignorati don't have time to keep track of the BS-du-jour, since they're too busy trying to keep up with inflation, finding a job or standing in line for a Govt handout.

The dirty hippies (nay boomers) did protest an unjust “war” and may have even hastened its end. Even with chromosomal damage you’d think they’d have passed on at least a few rebellious tendencies.

As I recall there’s an unjust war(s) occurring right now. Do any of the folks from the current generation, who are dying for nothing, even have anything negative to say about the situation while they wear a keffiyeh (?????‎), drink their chai late and surf Reddit on their ipad? Not many.
