Apple Has Satanic Close To Quarter

Tyler Durden's picture

Ending the day at the lows, AAPL's stock price traded with a truly demonic $666.66  after-hours. The reason for the last few days' weakness? Who knows when a bubble bursts but between its analog to MSFT's meteoric rise, the stocks' weight in the NASDAQ, 'disappointing' first-week sales, Cook's Maps FUBAR, supply-chain disruptions, or the market having to suddenly price in the arrival of the new Obama-phone, volumes have been picking up.

The Bat-Phone...

The Apple iPhone... and its high-volume selling pressure and $666.66 after-hours close...

AAPL +65% YTD, +14% in Q3, +0.23% in September

The subtle and mystical tones of the Kabbalah can help unlock the wisdom of the ages.  Those who are clairvoyant in the medium, especially women, can fine tune their inner knowledge and spiritual selves, to decipher secrets from the sages encoded in the distant past.  For example, stripped of spacing, punctuation, and read right to left, Hebe style, the phrase veryinsaneobama translates seamlessly into "I phuka ze prophet's horse",  or maybe that should be "We are so fucked by this Jack Ass."

Leroy, you sure about this shit?  Looks hairy as gopher balls to me!  Good help these days... we git back atcha.   LEROY!

Free cell phone?  Is that the new owePhone?

Or is it the sell phone?  I'm confused...

Who's the provider?

Is it a 4 year contract and then it's pay-as-you go?

Will it have the new Facetime drone EBT-cancelling app Debt From Above?

Or how about that emergency video conferencing feature FEMAtime? That would be cool. I hope they have good wifi there.

Jobs was given $5000 for his work. He told Woz the pay was $600, and gave Woz $300. True story, and Woz never knew till much later. Imagine what else Jobs screwed him out of. Well Woz is still alive, Steve fucking died after arrogantly not accepting other's recommendations. Karma bitches.

The more you learn, the more you will spot.  A sizeable fraction of "public consumption" reality is stage-managed by occultists.

There are always multiple reasons why they do stunts like this but I suspect the main reason in this case may be the rich occultists' equivalent of gang graffiti.  They did it with the S&P in '09.  They did it with gold multiple times in its early runup, probably to spook any Christians who watch CNBC.  They did it with the sale price of the first apple PC ($666.66, according to snblitz below).

In all fairness, OBamney did not start that program for the free phones. It started w/ landlines & the corporate taxpayer teat advanced from there. I used to have to t/w people like the freeloader in the video. I CRINGED. They had EVERY vertical feature offered for $1. More than I was willing to pay for having a job. Back then just a landline was $8 per mo w/ no features.

All one has to do is follow the $$$$$. It's no different than GE. Cellphones have higher margins, pass the laws to allow cellphones funded from the universal service fund & voila-----Corporate & elected officials are shittin in tall cotton & wipin with satin napkins made from taxpayer $$$.

On a side note, a rep from AR wants this subsidy removed. See how far he gets. Kabuki.

Apple was a sell at $700 I told several people who believe it's going to $1000. It's possible but why take the risk in this economy? Apple is due for a correction anyway. The % gain there is just not that great compared to other stocks and the downside risk is high as well.

Adam tempted Eve with an Apple IPhone?

Here is the bank cyber lock out links.

And no, It's not Iran, It's China.

Sept. 27, 2012

The financial and banking industries are on high alert tonight as a massive cyberattack continues, with potentially millions of customers of Bank of America, PNC and Wells Fargo finding themselves blocked from banking online.

"There is an elevated level of threat," said Doug Johnson, a vice president and senior adviser of the American Bankers Association. "The threat level is now high."

"This is twice as large as any flood we have ever seen," said Dick Clarke, an ABC News consultant and former cybersecurity czar.

Sources told ABC News that the so-called denial of service attacks had been caused by hackers from the Middle East who had secretly transmitted signals commandeering thousands of computers worldwide.

Those computers -- or "zombies" -- were then used to overwhelm bank websites with a barrage of electronic traffic.

Different banks have been targeted on different days.

Today was PNC Bank's turn: For three hours, ABC News tried to get on the PNC website to no avail.

On Facebook, a frustrated customer, Cynthia Schirm, wrote, "Trying to pay bills. This is ridiculous."

"Hopefully it can be up soon," wrote Stacy Briggs-Gerlach. "Never realized how dependent I am on it!!!"

A group of hackers calling themselves Izz ad-Din al-Qassam warned the financial industry that it was going to attack in retaliation for the controversial film "The Innocence of Muslims," which provoked outrage across the Muslim world earlier this month.

The U.S. said it suspected that hackers in Iran were also involved.

A PE of around 15.5 is hardly overvalued for results like Apple is delivering. Sure it's a huge market cap, but this is hardly some speculative PE of 50 where everyone is betting that results absolutely must grow spectacularly for years to come.

It's a margin/earnings bubble as Reggie keeps pointing out. Imagine the e being much smaller.

Take the new iPhone. They spent nothing on research, development or design and the result is the iPhone 5 is about as close to identical to the iPhone 4 as they could possibly get without it actually being an iPhone 4. So they make a huge margin on it, 50%. Nobody else in the business makes anything like that.

However, lack of development and QA:

  • The new iPhone scuffs; 20 mins in your pocket with some change or keys and it looks like a year old piece of shit which has to be covered up by some cheap looking plastic.
  • Apple maps are missing entire towns and even Apple users noticed that.
  • The camera paints your photos purple if you happen to be pointing towards the sun or bright light source.

You think customers are going to continue to accept dated operating system, cartoon maps, shoddy materials, zero design and zero innovation when there's a 50% margin on the phone? Nah. Lower earnings/margin means a higher effective P/E and therefore a lower price stock.

In the meantime  along comes Nokia with an R&D organisation 5x larger than Apple's and produce a phone with great design, better screen, astounding low light and image stabilised camera, high quality offline maps, wireless charging and nfc for payment and authorisation all for less money.

Some margin compression on the way there for Apple.

If they'd actually tested the camera at all in the real world, they'd have seen visual artefacts. If they'd actually put the thing in their pocket for a couple of weeks and compared what it looks like before and after they'd have discovered that yes, aluminium scuffs easily. And if they'd ever looked at their maps they'd have seen the world melting in their 3D view.

What's missing in all of these problems is Quality. Now you get quality through testing so either, they didn't test or they did and found the problem but said "fuck it, our customers are too dumb to notice".

Either way the iPhone is not a premium device.

Just a gentle reminder of how Apple have cheerfully fleeced their customers for decades:

In 1984 I was working in a (now closed) Hospital in London, UK, and at the time the Pharmacy Department was running two Apple 2Es (2 x floppy drives) with OKI printers and Microvitec monitors. The Director investigated upgrading to an external 5Mb (big in those days . . . . .) hard drive, and the cost of buying a SINGLE Apple hard drive was MORE than the cost of replacing BOTH 2Es with BBC Model B micros, with Microscribe 5Mb Hard Disks for BOTH BBC Machines.

And you wonder why the vast majority of computers Worldwide do NOT fly the Apple logo . . . . . .  .

in a meeting at work today and the 'cool' guy next to me had the IPhone 5.  i'll admit i have an IPhone 4S because IOS is the only platform I can integrate with our email system at work.  wondering what all the fuss is about i asked him if i could see it.  aside from it being a longer, a bit slimmer and the screen being a tad nicer, frankly I don't see what all the fuss is about.  5 million phones sold for what?  cultural phenomenon?  really?  either the world has truly gone mad or i have.

Might as well post this here.

Apple is on the way out, period.

I write apps for various devices, and quite frankly, I'm tired of the fucking Apple treadmill. There are developers that bitch about "Android fragmentation" but you know what? That isn't SHIT compared to when you are trying to get an app out, and the fuckers won't approve you --- or the fact that you need no less than FOUR FUCKING SIGNED CERTIFICATES to get your job done and submit to the fucking iTunes store.

Here's the development path for iOS - assuming you are doing native code (which not everyone does):

App Dev program ---> XCode ---> Compile and repeat ---> Run on device ---> Release version ---> Programmer Cert ---> Distribution Cert ---> Developer Cert ---> Application Cert ---> Submit to iTunes ---> Get knocked back because your app duplicates something they have in the fucking pipeline, or you just don't have the right 'feel' (no shit, real reason).

Compared to Android:

Android SDK (Fucking FREE, not $99 a year like Apple) ---> Eclipse IDE ---> Code your heart out ---> App is signed ONCE, and if you want to use Google Play, TWICE ---> Push to device ---> Fucking RUN TO YOUR HEARTS CONTENT

Yeah, FUCK Apple, seriously. The wankers can't even get their wifi and screen tech right. God help them if Samsung decides not to play ball and architect their next processor, or supply parts for the iPhone Leftover party.

No big deal, now if it trades at 616 we are screwed, or maybe it is 666, blahaha.

Other Revelation manuscripts such as Papyrus 115 and Codex Ephraemi Rescriptus (C; Paris, one of the four great uncial codices) reads the number of the beast in (13:18) as 616.

P115 (P. Oxy. 4499), located at Oxford University’s Ashmolean Museum, dates to around 300 CE. The manuscript is one of the oldest fragments of Revelation[15][16] containing Chapters 2-15. It agrees with both Codices Alexandrinus and Ephraemi Rescriptus, two of the best known witnesses to Revelation.[17] However, only Codex Ephraemi agrees with the number 616, which is argued to be the original reading of the Greek text,[18][19] [20] written out as: ????????? ???? ??, hexakosioi deka hex (lit. "six hundred and sixteen").[21]

Although Irenaeus (2nd century AD) affirmed the number to be 666 and reported several scribal errors of the number, he knew about the 616 reading, but did not adopt it (Haer. v.30,3). However, several centuries later, correcting the existing Latin language version of the New Testament, commonly referred to as the Vetus Latina, Jerome left 616 in.[22] "The number 666 has been substituted for 616 either by analogy with 888, the [Greek] number of Jesus (Deissmann), or because it is a triangular number, the sum of the first 36 numbers (1+2+3+4+5+6...+36 = 666)".[23] The number 616 can still be found in the Latin version of Tyconius[24] and an ancient Armenian version (ed. Conybaere, 1907).
