There is no doubt that a decline in unemployment is good for the economy. There is long way to go and many things to fix. The risks and dangers are present tambien.Sin But there is no doubt that the numbers provided are very positive this morning.

You should by now know the difference between NFP numbers, unemployment rate, participation rate, part-time vs full-time, misuse of disability benefit numbers as well as be aware of the (dismal) quality of jobs created. No excuses mate.

This is rather amusing; +114,000 is fewer than the working-age population growth in the household survey (206,000) and yet unemployment decreased.
Huh?
The household survey's unadjusted numbers, however, show some rather interesting figures, none of which make sense. "Not in labor force" increased by 386,000 while "employed" increased by 775,000 a net change off "unemployed and looking" of well north of a million people!
But -- giving up is not the same thing as finding a job.
