Uncle Sam Prepares To Unleash Up To 30,000 Drones Over America For "Public Safety"

Tyler Durden's picture

The Federal Aviation Administration is working towards putting the finishing touches on rules and regulations for widespread domestic drone use, and the agency expects as many as 30,000 UAVs will be in America’s airspace by the decade’s end. As Russia Today notes, given that the department has already addressed the issue of acquiring drones to give the DHS a better eye of domestic doings, though, those law enforcement operations in question could very well transcend away from legitimate uses and quickly cause civil liberty concerns from coast-to-coast. All drones will be equipped with Electro-Optical/Infra-Red sensors, as well as the technology to sniff out certain chemicals from thousands of feet above our heads. Have no fear though, since the "Robotic Aircraft for Public Safety" program is for your own protection, we are sure Janet Napolitano would suggest.

Via RT.com:

Don’t be surprised if you catch a federal fleet of sneaky spy drones soaring over your head in the near future, but don’t be too terrified — it’s all in the name of public safety.

The US Department of Homeland Security is asking the makers of small unmanned aerial vehicles to submit their crafts for consideration as the agency ramps up the construction of a full-fledged surveillance state across America. The DHS plans to soon conduct drone tests over the Fort Sill, Oklahoma US Army base, and they’re already soliciting spy planes from the private sector so they can select what kind of UAV to use.

According to a request for information published on the Federal Business Opportunities website recently, the DHS is determined to begin drone tests over the military base soon and is seeking submissions from drone makers that don’t mind making a few bucks by having their products put into the US airspace to conduct sweeping surveillance.

The Borders and Maritime Security Division of the DHS “will conduct flight testing and evaluation of airborne sensors and small unmanned aerial systems,” the request reads, and now invites vendors to submit drones to be tested “under a wide variety of simulated but realistic and relevant real-world operation scenarios.”

The solicitation says that drones will be evaluated to see how well they perform law enforcement operations and conduct search and rescue missions, but once a craft is handed over to the DHS then the details will be put under lock and key. Specifically, the call for work says, "the information within each test report will be classified as For Official Use Only, and will not be shared with the general public."

Given that the department has already addressed the issue of acquiring drones to give the DHS a better eye of domestic doings, though, those law enforcement operations in question could very well transcend away from legitimate uses and quickly cause civil liberty concerns from coast-to-coast.

Homeland Security Janet Napolitano told a House Committee panel in July that the DHS was “looking at drones that could be utilized to give us situational awareness in a large public safety [matter] or disaster” and the next piece of the puzzle is already being put into place. With their latest solicitation, the DHS acknowledges that it is specifically testing a “Robotic Aircraft For Public Safety,” but the components necessary to be considered suggest that any drone adopted by the agency will be brought in for sweeping surveillance.

The solicitation request requires that all drones be equipped with Electro-Optical/Infra-Red sensors, as well as the technology to sniff out certain chemicals from thousands of feet from above. The UAV must also have an integrated laser designator, can be hand-launched by a single person and must be able to be remotely managed by a pilot with only one day of training.

The Federal Aviation Administration is working towards putting the finishing touches on rules and regulations for widespread domestic drone use, and the agency expects as many as 30,000 UAVs will be in America’s airspace by the decade’s end.

Actually it was the nigger who fell for the Nintendo War School's worthless theories.  Regardless, there were very few who spoke up at the time, and only few speak up now that it is being extended.  Across the artificial boundaries of State, the numbers who have personally experienced this future, and speak up now against its expansion are just as few, and just as self serving, and just as devoid of values.

BTW...

The painting of The Apotheosis of Washington has mucho Catholic symbolism.
An Italian Catholic painted it.

This book explains the painting:

Guy comes to a wacky conclusion in the end of the book. Research is top notch though.

The Masons ain't the only ones in the game.

A few of the things you’ll learn:

• The Dome of the U.S. Capitol is a mirror image of the Vatican Dome and was thought of as a recreation of Solomon’s Temple by its builders.
The art of the interior corridors of the Capitol mirrors Vatican art.
• Higher Wisdom flows through the Capitol’s spiritual imagery and artwork.
• The bell-shaped Capitol Dome is a stupa that creates a vortex or field of energy that extends into the world.
The Freemasons who built the Capitol viewed it as a ‘beehive’ buzzing with energy.
• Literally, we can alter this energy field by visiting the Capitol Dome and praying or meditating inside. This will raise the frequency of the Dome and the Capitol, helping to clear out negative or harmful energies.
This is the great secret of the Founding Fathers. They left us a bell to ring in times of distress. Let Freedom’s Ring!

----------------

THE GREATEST SECRET PAINTING EVER

The painting that exemplifies the transcendent beliefs of the Founding Fathers is Constantino Brumidi’s The Apotheosis of George Washington in the Dome of the Capitol. A former Vatican painter, Brumidi’s masterpiece portrays Washington deified, enthroned on a rainbow in a heavenly scene surrounded by Greek and Roman gods. We are the first to recognize that Washington is portrayed exactly like Jesus in Christian Last Judgment scenes. He is suspended in the heavens and drawing us there, as well.

----------------

We reveal, for the first time that:

• Washington sits in a gate of 72 stars, a ‘star gate’.
•  Each of the gods surrounding Washington corresponds with the elements of alchemy.
These gods are arranged in the pattern of a pentacle, also called Solomon’s Seal.
• Brumidi encoded the sacred geometry of ascension in this painting.
• This painting is an ‘alchemical icon’ or meditation tool that can be used to raise your consciousness and spiritually transform our lives and even the destiny of America.

Don't shoot them down, they may hurt innocents when they crash.

Best is to hack the signals controlling them and let them all fly and crash in the nearest nuisance ground.

"Laser-Fueled Drones May Never Have to Land"

http://gizmodo.com/5925391/laser+fueled-drones-may-never-have-to-land

ref: http://www.lockheedmartin.com/us/news/press-releases/2012/july/120711ae_...

"Working with wireless power specialists LaserMotive, Lockheed Martin has successfully completed preliminary tests of a new laser refueling system that extended the flight time of its Stalker unmanned aerial drone to over 48 hours.

That not only represents about a 2,400 percent increase in flight duration, but the system also doesn't require another aircraft to deliver the fuel boost. Instead, ground-based lasers—from a mobile vehicle or stable delivery platform—simply target the craft's solar cells while it circles overhead. The initial tests on the Stalker were conducted in a controlled wind tunnel, and at its conclusion the drone's batteries actually had a greater charge than when the test was started. And theoretically, it means the only reason a reconnaissance drone would ever have to land would be for physical maintenance, or if it gets shot down."

Don't Pay Your Taxes?   Have you ever been hounded by the IRS or state govt for late taxes, mbeach?  Unless you are completely off the radar, you would be looking at garnishment.  As you sit and ponder the situation, interest and penalties compound the amount owed.  Tax evasion will get a visa holder thrown out of the country or into a detention camp.  It's considered worse than murder.  Fastest way to be deported is not pay taxes.

Find a politician that represents your views and then protect him with your life.  Get organized as a united front and create a focused project on electing the politicians who will not sell out.  It may take a few years but it's something that will not cause greater hardship than is already at hand.  There are many brilliant minds available.  Oppression takes away confidence and the inability to know exactly what is going on makes it difficult to decide what to do because there may be a detail that is missing which could change everything.

I have considered that if there isa war with Iran, the Iranians in the US will be dealt with in some fashion.  there are a million I have heard.  Even if they are peaceful and law abiding, there may be formal interviews and watch lists.  That does not ease the situation at all because I am sure the drones are nondiscriminating.

The worry i have is that people will be categorized because of the collection of available data through internet, tweets, and it could be construed as vital information when in actually, the person just drank too much.  If one were to be in a predicament requiring the presence of law enforcement, the gathered infor could paint a picture that is not entirely accurate, but useful enough to those profiling you to conclude you did indeed do the crime.

Fed wants nothing more than to indebt Americans into the loss of soverignty of their nation.  It's global.  There's no where to run but Iceland.  Use the vote to your benefit.  It's the easist route to take.     I think anyway.  This is all such a pitiful situation and to make it worse, many are oblivious to the fact debt slaves is what is on the itinerary of us all.

I can tell you there is nothing more embarrassing that having a paycheck garnished.  Miss a payment and they swoop in again and clean out the bank account.  It's stressful to say the least.  Credit score is shot as well.  It's just an all around bad idea.

We can buy jet fighters somewhere and fly around with a big net and collect all those little drones.  If we wrap aluminum foil around our jets they say radar won't detect them and those fancy fifth generation jobs the government has won't be able to see us to shoot us down.  :)

Won't be long before some bad actor nation or terrorist group launches a handful of crude weaponized drones from some fishing trawler somewhere off the coast of our eastern seaboard.  Perhaps a dirty nuke. Smash that drone into a high value target; i.e....some politician or structure that will give us a black eye and our adversaries a good day to throw candy to their children.

Predicted outcome:  We won't know what the fuck to do because we have 30k drones spying on us already.

My advice:  Fly our drones on our targeted enemies when we are in a state of conflict.  Leave law enforcement handle US civilians.

Where the fuck is the ACLU?

Suggestions?  How DO we start to fight back?   "Stacking silver" doesn't seem to do much, I've been stacking for years - up to about a thousand ounces now.  Or was, until I had an unfortunate boating accident last month.  Can't say as it's done much practical good.

(And note, "writing in Ron Paul for president" isn't a way to accomplish anything...)

Rules to follow if you suspect you are being targeted by an ISR asset.

1. Only move in inclement weather. They can't see through clouds and the vast majorty don't fly in rain.

2.If the weather is good, never move at night.

3.If you have to move in the day, then use decoys. A car of the same color, make and model or someone dressed identical as you.

4.Most platforms are not encrypted so you will be able to pick up the video stream if you know how.

5.listen to local airport tower frequencies. Most platforms are mid range assets and will be launched within 90 miles of your location. Some will be handed off to another GCS and can fly even further.

6.Never use a cell phone. EVER.

5.Don't get in a situation to where the U.S. Government has to send UAV's your way. Not good.

7. Most of these rules are common sense. Always use common sense. There is no all seeing eye. Usually a bunch of bored dudes playing angry birds.

Godspeed

8.   See #6.  More than don't USE a cell phone, ever - don't even carry a cell phone or anything else with wireles connectivity  Ever.  NSA people in the know never, ever, ever carry anything electronic on or near their person - to include Kindles, iPads, iPods, or laptops, nor do they hang with people that do -  cell phone cameras and microphones can be activated remotely without your knoweledge.  That book download onto your Kindle, or Nook or a 3G phone connection allows yor location to be pinpointed within a few meters.

9.  Watch Youtube clips if you want to start learning about the capabilities of drones - there are lots of clips out there that can give you a good idea about the range, weapontry, and overall capabilities of these things.  And their IR cameras allow them to see very well in the dark.  You basically glow in the dark in IR...

US-led drone crashes in southern Afghanistan: Locals

Tue Oct 9, 2012 7:26PM GMT

Locals say an unmanned aerial vehicle belonging to US-led forces has crashed in southern Afghanistan, Press TV reports.

According to local officials, the incident took place on Monday in the southern Helmand Province.

Taliban spokesman Qari Yusof Ahmadi also confirmed the incident, saying that the militant group has collected the wreckage of the "large" aircraft.

US officials have not yet made any comments regarding the incident. ...

Gee, wonder how that happened?  Paki fighters finally decided to start shooting them down?  Iranians started hacking them?  Taliban have an effective tracking methiod and MANPADs to use against them?  The wreckage photo suggests it crashed nose-first at low speed.

Looks like the Pakis and Iranians will get this latest US drone tech windfall to reverse-engineer as well.

So at least a part of the PressTV version of this crash has been sexed-up, and is false.

"Once you have stripped the forest bare in pursuit of the devil,
where will you hide when the devil turns on you ?
I give the devil the right and protection of the law - not for his sake, but for mine."
Sir Thomas Moore ("A Man for All Seasons")

In another recent release, the capabilities of drones are said to be a surveillance coverage area of 4 square miles. For comparison, all of New York City is only 468 square miles. So, it is possible to have 100% simultaneous coverage of the entire city with 117 drones. What will FedGovCo do with the other 29,883?

Question:  Are there any American companies out there which refuse to sell to our hijacked government items which will eventually be used to steal what few freedoms we have left?  Is short term profit more important than long term freedom?!

Should be interesting to see how many of these are shot down over the years!
