Farage Slams Nobel Peace Prize Farce As "Insurgency And Violence" Reign

We noted earlier the somewhat surrealistic decision to award the Nobel Peace Prize to the European Union (though entirely consistent it would seem given their previous 'Obama' decision) but now UKIP's Nigel Farage has weighed in with his 'boots on the ground' perspective of this farce. "You only have to open your eyes to see the increasing violence and division within the EU which is caused by the Euro project" he said, adding that "the awarding of this prize to the EU brings it into disrepute." We suspect that reputation is already 'diss'ed but analogizing the tragic imposition of a new flag on Yugoslavia, Farage concludes: "Rather than bring peace and harmony, the EU will cause insurgency and violence." We can only assume that Bin Laden's death forced the 'Nobel's to quick recount.

"Spain is on the verge of a bail-out, with senior military figures warning that the Army may have to intervene in Catalonia. In Greece people are starving and abandoning their children through desperate poverty and never a week goes by that we don't see riots and protests in capital cities against the troika and the economic prison they have imposed.

"The next stage is to abandon the Nation state: the awarding of this prize to the EU brings it into disrepute."

Mr Farage added, "The last attempt in Europe to impose a new flag, currency and nationality on separate states was called Yugoslavia. The EU is repeating the same tragic mistake."

"Rather than bring peace and harmony, the EU will cause insurgency and violence."

It would be rather inconsistent with the EU Commission's goals if the host state would have a functioning government, now wouldn't it be? Because they, in their insanity, see the nation state and the people that are now becoming aware of the deceit, as "competition" and would not allow another "captain on their bridge" (read "would not allow another pig in the taxpayer money trough").

In the Netherlands the betrayal of ramming the ESM treaty through parliament while the government resigned now becomes clear, after the elections, that is. But here it comes.... amidst all the chaos, and mismanagement, there are members of the european parliament that are now making their plans to open europe for global trade known, THEY ARE PLANNING A "FREE TRADE AGREEMENT WITH JAPAN AND THE USA". The name and wording implies something like NAFTA. And you all know what this did to the small to medium business of the USA and the farmers of Mexico. It also meant the demise of the middle class in the USA. To do this now, to a european people who were building up a competative global trading position, despite all the regulations and taxes, with a people that rely on small agriculture and business, to put this plan in motion, during the breakdown, is not going to help the citizens of europe. This is going to help supra-national corporations that already bridged the Atlantic Ocean, that have offices and factories all over the world and don't give a shit about unemployment in this or that region, and on the other end, those in power so they can continue to serve their role as a "Government for the Corporations". These members of parliament and the think-tanks that they float on, are trying to copy the lobbyist-Congress model of the USA.

They are trashing the economies, and are setting the EU up to become part of a bigger whole, and to achieve this in a short timespan, they've declared WAR on their own people. What an eternal pity that these carreer politicians do not know measure, and that they disregard and even trash the true strenght of europe; democracies built (with blood of generations) on consent, and people with diverse backgrounds and differing economic qualities. I.o.w. they HATE the diversity that makes Europe european. They're trying to make Europe into a uniform factory model state by putting the horse behind the cart. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they call on the U.N. to send troops once the shit hits the fan.

Congratulations to the EU. What is this world coming to. The EU has been forced down the throat of slightly less than 50% of the population in Europe. Where there has been dissent, peopel have voted repeatedly, until the desired result was achieved, and then that was considered binding. Untold millions of tax payers money has been spent on propaganda and brainwashing and the leaders have threatened a dumbed down electorate with fire and brimstone, were they to resist increased unification.

I don't want to be part of a United states of Europe, and neither does the majority of Europeans, especially at the moment, I guess. To award the peace price to the EU is an insult, and makes a mockery of the whole notion of a peace price.

The timing is terrible now.

But there is no doubt that EU has been a remarkable peace project. We have had almost 70 years without major wars in the western Europe. That has never happened before and it is the foundation of the EU that is the reason why killings in European wars has gone from millions to zero.

For the first time, people in Europe live without fear of big armies marching into neighboring countries and bombs.

Fun fact: The Socialistic Leftwing Party member Ågot Valle in the Noble Price committee has been ill and was not present when the members chose the winner.

She is angry and feel that the leader of the committee used this oppurtunity to give the price to EU.

If the socialistic left wing party's member in the committee had been there, EU would not have gotten the price. Now the socialists are angry as hell, as they are opposed to the EU, while the Labor party is pro EU and the right wing party Hoyre is also pro EU. The other right wing party FRP has no view on EU.

And in the end: Norway is no member of the EU and will not be it as the people here are strongly opposed (as am I).

100 million people died in WW1 and WW2, mostly in Europe.

So the idea of getting the nations together is quite noble. They just took it too far with the Euro.

Don't fool yourself. ANY nation is capable of committing mass murder or genocide.
It's when the psychopaths run the place, and reprogram the masses into hate-machines, that these things can take place.
And Norway, once the EU falls, will comply with the NWO, locked step.

We got oil and gas, that is why we are safe.

And until the people say yes to the EU, we will not become a member. That is a fact. When we did say no in 94, when the big labor party and the biggest right wing party was pro EU and all the big media was pro EU, and the conditions in Europe was a lot better than now, we will never say yes.

But my point is that there has been terrible mass murders in Europe for several hundred years. Germany and France has been notoriously killing eachother. But not since 1945. And the coal and steel community between the two countries, who later became EEC and EU.

But I agree that the timing of the price is ridiculous.

Attacking Lybia and throwing the most progressive african country into chaos, or occupying Afghanistan, or supporting Turkey on it's way to an escalation with Syria, indeed deserves the Nobel price for peace.

And what i find especially funny: Barroso is a supporter of Mao, the biggest mass murderer in history with probably more than 60 millions murdered people during peace times. Well Mao, Barroso and the Nobel price comittee know, what making progress demands...
