Yes, because any taxation is Marxist, as your group of D&D followers wholeheartedly accept as truth.

So you agree with a heavy graduated, progressive income tax.

Moving on...what about this?

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; >>>gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country<<< by a more equable distribution of the population over the country.

///////////////////

Very revealing...eh LTER?

But what has happened to your sense of "fairness" & humor ;-)

3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

Muppet  -  both Molyneux and Nock have seen the crapness of Govt and are anti-State but their 'solutions' are equally depressing. Nock doesn't seem to have one but reform (never going to happen) while Molyneaux passes the buck onto our children (slightly rediculous)

Here's a solution, whattya think:

Stop Paying Tax ....don't feed the suckers

Govts greatest strength is the power to thieve( tax) ..it's also it's greatest weakness. Game Over Govt

So, I'll take that as ANOTHER yes in your agreement with the Communist Manifesto.

Very good, I'm surprised by your honesty, usually socialists & communists try to hide their true desires...how about this...

1. >>>Abolition of private property<<< and the application of >>>all rent to public purpose.<<<

Yes or no?

LTER comments,

"So to you the ultimate insult to me is to accuse me of being.... female?"

That was not an accusation, that is called an assumption on my part. Are you now making a declarative statement that you were born a male? If so, say so.

Some of the finest people I know are female and you have never said (at least to me that I can recall) that you are not a female. And you consider it an insult? Really?

But this is just another (not so clever) diversion away from you having your ideology exposed...answer the questions LTER and continue being truthful and not so dodgy.

I disagree with all I have asked, you agree with them or have dodged answering them.

In fact like every Govt stat' I'm betting MOST PEOPLE do not vote, the Govt claimed 51-53% who vote is bullshit (the world over)

I'm totally serious now -- are you suggesting that the majority of people who don't vote want freedom from government, as opposed to just being lazy and/or uneducated and/or lacking in the willpower to register to vote, etc?  I'll give you that some tiny percentage of people who don't vote are just fed up and don't want to waste their time, but you think most of the non-voters are freedom loving independents?  Really?

day late and a dollar short here - i do not accept that there has to be THIS form of government. I do accept that there needs to be someone to administer health, education and welfare at levels that I can afford. THIS is welfare deomcracy. I put it to you that most people do not vote becuase there is no point in that a) there is no difference in the parties' policies and b) any vote encourages the bad policies and elected leaders in their corruption.

I also believe that the majority of non-voters think the same way and look in horror at the political campaigners out there and those who say "well you have to have some sort of Goverment, so you may as well take this piece of shit".

Sat, 11/03/2012 - 23:33 | 2945597 Zero Govt

Hooligan  -  the No.1 reason people do not vote is that it, "changes nothing"

Our No.1 way we learn is not from books or teachers but from human experience (of reality). These non-voters are absolutely correct (sane)

The voting system is designed to marginalise an individuals power and mae them 1 in a million. Again non-voters are absolutely correct they can change nothing, how could they, they cannot determine any policy individually (Parties do that), 95% of what Govt does is not on the Parties manifesto, they cannot determine their tax rates, that Congress live within their budget, that Congress halt warmomngering, they can't choose the candidates etc etc

Democracy for the individual is about as near as Mars. It's so distant you can't even see it let alone vote on it!

when you realise how realistic (sane) the non-voters are you wonder what the hell those delusional muppets are doing voting

LTER, don't always agree with your posts, but i usually read 'em :)

I think you're spot on here.  The sort of people attracted to zh are most often independent thinkers (lack of better term), but in reality most people would rather conform socially and intellectually.  I have 2 family members that have just finished med school and law school respectively.  They are the biggest dimwits I've ever had the pleasure to come across.  They think I'm insane because I question our educational and banking systems.

conversely, my friends who have serious mental issues, depression, or, who at first blush appear to be dumb, simple or uneducated more often than not, are interested to hear facts I have learned on this website, or theories that I have.

It is my belief that if we sit around waiting for the middle classes to wake up and help usher change we'll be waiting for a long time.  The average educated Westerner will happily cannibalize their neighbours in a heartbeat if it gave them a chance to maintain their material status, or self-percieved status.

I love my family but almost all of them think I'm insane because I question things and have theories that contradict what the media told them, or what a textbook told them.  They, I think, like most people will side with an anonymous theory that a boss, professor, or the media tells them over that of a loved one literally 99 times out of a hundred AND on that 1 time I do get their attention they get scared real fast.

Who gives a shit about NYC?  NJ was the state that got hit ten times harder.  It was really quite disturbing that shortly after the storm passed, every media outlet was fixated on how NYC's subways were running again and the Marathon would go as scheduled, creating a completely distorted narrative of what had actually happened to the storm victims.

Are you sure that's 10 times?  Maybe it was 5.6x worse.

How about this: no one gives a fuck when a coastline gets hit by a hurricane.  Yeah, the tide came in and washed way this road and here's a wave crashing against a pier.  And OMG, there's sand everywhere.  No shit.  Move on.

When a major metropolitan area has no power, it's a story regardless if it was caused by a hurricane.  Major flooding in a major metropolitan area?  Still a big story.  If a a foot or two of snow falls on a major metro area, big story.  It's distruptive.  There's a lot of costly damage.  There's even a lot of people who are affected by it who don't live anywhere near that metropolitian area.

So spare me the stories on how Seaside, NJ's boardwalk washed away and there's sand in everyone's house.  No one in the rest of the country gives a shit.

As civilizations grow larger the ability to change seems to dwindle, and we witness all civilizations in history going through their birth, vigor, then death, until, as in Ozymandias,
. . . Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that collosal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

In one of my top ten books of the 20th century, Joseph Tainter (The Collapse of Complex Societies)explains, in terms of the flow of energy (he calls it "marginal return"), why civilizations must collapse. Social complexity is very expensive, and the more a civilization grows the less you get back per unit of input (also called "diminishing returns"). Sooner or later every civilization busts its budget, cannot afford its armies or its bureaucracies, is unable to suppress increasing dissatisfaction among the masses who must be at least nominally pacified (think bread and circuses), exhausts its resources, suffers from its environmental travesties (the most salient of which is destruction of trees and soil), runs out of food, and is eventually supplanted by simpler more sustainable groups (if there are any around) or just disperses (if there's any place left to disperse to).

I could see head Rabbi Bloomberg turning Pol Pot. For him, Sandy is a good thing. All the fatties short of food, being made to valk. Cause their gas guzzling SUV, busted out 20yo Lincoln Town Cars with the loose headliners are dead, Big Gulp machines down. This is a opportunity to forge

the New New York Man for Bloomberg. As he flies in his ermine carpeted Sikorsky over the shivering masses, dropping decoy flairs at the occasional rising shoulder launched SAM, a NYPD A-10 rolling on the clearing exhausted of the SAMs launch site, he must be smiling.

2015

New York today is ruled by Napoleon "The Pig" Bloomberg, altho th elast guy to tease him with that is still hanging around a lamppost on Wall St.

Thru the  use of a repressive police department and cheap, off the shelf surveillance tachnology, Bloomberg is able to micromanage every second of every citizens' day.

Eating, sleeping, even bathroom breaks are regulated by a vast hodgepodge of PCs confiscated from citizens due to the new download tax announced two years ago by Bloomberg.

Electronic dog collars are worn by all, even this reporter who was visiting. Napoleon can "reach out" to any individual and issue correcting action thru the collar, which can range from....dis..comfort....to....................

...lol, so now it's the darkness against the light? LMAO.

Hey, ummm, GET OUT OF NEW YORK NOW!!! ...and do not look back.

Seriously, why would anyone even want to live in that shit hole at this point? It's the symbol of the contempt of the global market, that and London. If ever there was a city that begs to be destroyed it is New York.

Of course I am bias, I saw this in a dream. It was a prophetic dream, one of two prophetic dreams I was given. In the second dream I was reacting to the news events on the TV, commenting on them and offering what would happen as a result of the latest report. The news on the TV, in the dream, reached a point where right after I mentioned what I thought would happen next the next report confirmed that what I though would happen actually did. That began to occur more quickly after each report and I realized suddenly that it began to sound like an echo. Right when it became so obvious to me in the dream, the echo, I mentioned that I thought New York would get nuked as a result of the last report. Right as I mentioned that, for the two witnesses with me in this dream, the room flashed white, I yelled ''get down'', as I fell prostrated upon the floor, thinking that this was a nuke flash. From that position, I realized the light in the room was not from a weapon and I looked up to see what it was. What I saw is described in the Bible, the city of Heaven, and I saw the Light of Glory. I knew this the moment I woke up.

Wild huh? Lol, well the first dream was about storms destroying D.C. and people not being moved, even though they are aware of the storm(s) which started out bad and just became stronger and super destructive until a pillar of fire was ripping the place up.

New York City is Sodom and D.C. is Gomorrah, you are going to want to get out of New York, and I'm thinking, now is a very good time.

Quite honestly, I cannot figure out why people continue to live there. NYC is a giant gated community.  Every month they take their association fee monies & make up new rules to cover their spend thrift antics. NYC is going to become the next Detroit. When people flee, the communist city structure will crumble. Good riddance!

I hope they don't flee, they will only destroy whatever area they go to.  When New Englanders migrate its like a plague infected rat- they only infect the new area and spred the same disease that destroyed where they left.

Better they stay there, maybe the rest of us get lucky and the next one is a Cat 5.

I won't speak for others, but I really like the fact that I can buy absolutely anything I could ever want on the streets of NYC, AND I can meet and talk to people from EVERY cultural and social background face to face.

It's not for everyone.  It's complex and unpredictable, and there are a lot of folks out there looking to skin you and wear your pelt.  Keeps the survival instinct sharp, though.

Another great NYC Sandy blackout story:

On Monday night, Hurricane Sandy hit the armory of the New York Army National Guard’s 69th Infantry Regiment, leaving the soldiers without power, hot water, or anything but the most rudimentary means of communicating with the outside world. So the next morning, the Regiment’s officers made an emergency plea — to the producers of the Victoria’s Secret fashion show.

While amusing, that should piss people off to no end. How is it that the National Guard is so pathetically prepared for an emergency, they need to borrow generators, forklifts and internet?

Are they not supposed to be OUR saviors in the aftermath of a calamity? They should at least be able to help out a little instead of being a burden.

The US empire has billions of $$$ of equipment on over 700 bases in over 160 countries all over the planet.  Of course there are also billions of $$$ of stuff floating around the solar system.  To rescue the world's center of finance and art after the biggest storm of the century, they turn to a lingerie company to loan them some generators and an internet connection.

LMFAO -  I absolutely could not make this shit up!

National Guard's new tag line - "Be all you can be - with help from Victoria's Secret"

All joking aside, kudos to Capt. Brendan Gendron, the Regiment’s operations officer, that got on the phone and got shit done in a difficult situation.  Gotta love the Big Apple!

There are micro-nuke design concepts that I like. You bury a rather small container that can power a neighborhood. It's contained and maintenance free. When it expires, it's plucked out - to be replaced.

The grid concept seems like a big pain in the butt; you're always hitched to a big wagon.

I know people [on this blog] hate nukes. But there's something to hate about every power generation scheme that has ever been devised. And the trend might be back to more primitive motor forces (that involve a lot of grunting).

This just shows that it is true that when the SHTF most people will die in a month. I can not believe people sit around waiting for someone to "save them". And I'm sure it's 50/50 Wingers and Libs. I also can not believe people in gas lines allow line jumpers. A dozen guys in line should get out and flip that dudes car on it's side or top. Grow a pair. Bloomberg is the new Nero who thinks circuses until his troops revolt.

He can't send his praetorian guard to Gaul or staten island. That would be dereliction of duty to megabucks.

Bloomberg has his finger up his NYPDs butt for far he can't reach out for Federal help. To the bond-data king to admit reality is way too much weakness presenting. Think if he tried his bond database magic trick to make billions in 2005 rather than 1985 or with some low-level BD in 1985 rather than mother merrill who like ibm couldn't be bothered at that time.
