Israel Releases Video Of Air Strike Taking Out Hamas' Military Wing Head
No, this is not a clip from the latest Call of Duty showing what happens when one gets a 9+ killstreak. It is the IAF taking out the head of the Hamas military wing, which has set the region ablaze (even if the central bank manipulated VIX and EURUSD refuse to budge in response).

I'm certainly no expert in this, but this doesn't look right...
Take the videos of US-fired missiles in Iraq. Usually, you can see the missile or it's engine flare right before impacting the target. It also usually leaves a crater since the force of the blast is directed from the sky down to the earth along the trajectory of the missile. In this video, you see no missile, no crater, and the vehicle keeps moving forward, not down into a blast crater.
Me thinks they planted a bomb on the car and watched it blow from a drone overhead... what I'll call Iranian-nuclear-scientist-style.
I think you might be right. I looked and looked for a missle and couldn't see one, you can almost always see the missle.

Cropped the video to move the vehicle all the way to the right as vehicle explodes to hide the lack of a missile. Drone was there simply to be able to time the explosion to limit collateral damage. Notice the explosion comes right after the target vehicle passes between two other vehicles and gets clear?
No missile, but some really, really good field work.
I noted the image getting dark just before the explosion, so I wonder if they were concealing the details.

From what I have seen, militant muslims consider the killing of war to be a routine matter, and they are more offended by blasphemes to their religious beliefs. So, again, I don't see this leading to anything except more caution on the guy who just got promoted as the result of the assasination.

The release of the video may simply be to prove that only the single car was exploded and limit claims that vast numbers of civilians were killed as well. I can go along with car bomb--though I note the image gets dark before the explosion so maybe they were concealing the direction or nature of the projectile if it was exploded that way.
I wonder if obama green-lighted this. I suspect a more circumspect approach of strenuously not being aware of the planning for this is the white house's official position.
