From my POV, the 'closest to the truth' comment was made earlier by someone who referenced the Balfour Declaration... Let's set aside all the bottle rocket volleys across the wall & focus on what's probably the REAL issue...
This is strictly my opinion, but I believe that the Balfour Declaration was only the first tiny step into a scenario that is not even close to being fully played out... Where we are so far is that it provided the blueprint for what is now the Nation State of Israel (and all the dirty dealings required to make that happen)... History is FULL of dirty dealings to make things happen (which are usually the rich & powerful opposing their oppressive wills upon regular folks)...
Now Israel is a reality but unfortunately (and this is never spoken about), that is NOT the end of the plan... The same small group who were beneficiaries of Balfour want the whole kit & kaboodle... That means they want all the land between the Suez Canal & the Tigris & Euphrates Rivers... It's not simply for the oil reserves in the region, but for the fact that the geography is the centerpiece of strategic global traffic...
Over the past 60 years, they have managed to use the United States as the strongman to make things happen... One of the first maneuvers was installing the "puppet" Shah of Iran, but then later followed by installing &/or sanctioning (in one way or another) other "puppet" regimes (some of which still exist), and dotting them all over the region...
But for the Iranian Revolution in the late 70's, the entire plan may have succeeded by now... Instead ~ it underwent a course change... The response to that has met with mixed results ever since... First ~ it was in fundng Saddam Hussein to fight the Iranians... I don't have to go down the list & name them all one by one, but each one has the same objective in the end... Presently ~ the PNAC script is the operative playbook (but again, it's all the same script & the same large chess pieces remain on the board)...
I come down AGAINST Israel because I'm sick & tired of seeing what 'Globalism' means (namely ~ converting the hard work of many into profits for few & fucking up quality of life in the process)... Iran is the thorn in the ass of the 'Globalists' who, following the script of Balfour, now have their foot in the door & want to take over the whole neighborhood (which means 'curtains' for the rest of the world because Suez Canal to Tigris/Euphrates is the most strategic stretch of real estate on the planet)... Iran is what's stopping them (because others, like Russia, who aren't ncessarily intersted in the 'Globalist' agenda) will be at their back, or, others like China & India (with huge populations to worry about) are, at minimum, interested in DEALING with Iran so as to aquire their resources in trade... Israel & America just want to steal it...
So it's all a big fucking stalemate...
Who knows if somebody will 'blink' first, but the only TRUTH is that these are assholes playing an assholes game...
My conjecture is that that stalemate will continue... Does that mean that the 'wars' will continue?... You bet your ass they will... On the surface, it appears that PLAN B may have to do with the North African continent... Stay Tuned...
Anyway... This is why I'm fucking sick and tired about all the flinging around of labels like "anti-semite", "jew hater", "NAZI", "bigot", & shit like that when this topic comes up... If you understand the big picture, you'll get a better perspective on where the HATE is directed...

Be careful about any photos that come out of this. Some are probably real, but I have already seen retreads of photos out of Syria that are a month old being depicted as being from Gaza. There are others of miracle cures where a guy is on a streacher gravely injured one moment and walking around unhurt a couple of minutes later. In war there is propaganda from all sides. This one will be no different in that regard.

Eventually, however, the sheer quantities of pork-fried rice would present themselves as an abomination, and both Palestinians and Jews would join forces to expell the foreign "invaders". Their cooperation will result in an alliance and peace lasting thousands of years.

I've spent more time than I now wish I had learning Middle East history. I'm Catholic and don't have a dog in this fight, but my God the ME makes Northern Ireland look like paradise in comparison.
The British and the Balfour Declaration escalated ethnic dispute at the turn of the 20th Century and, unfortunately, the region's fate was thereafter decided by the victors of WW1 and WW2. Unfortunately for the Palestinians, they backed the wrong dog in those wars but refuse to accept the consequences, even though those consequences were far less painful than experienced by most losers in the history of this world.
The consequence in most previous wars was that the victors killed all of the losers' men, raped and made their own all of the losers' women, and salted the losers' fields. The Palestinians were left to live in a nation that quickly became the only democracy in the Middle East and that, as a result of the industry of its people and the protection of the U.S., also generated the highest per capita income in the entire region. Just think where the Palestinians would be today if they accepted their loss and worked hard to integrate into Israeli society. Even if they lived as second class citizens their entire life, they would be far better off than they are today.
Instead, Palestinians proceeded to make their own bed with increasing levels of violence. WTF did they expect to receive in return? Flowers? I don't blame today's Palestinians for the sins of their fathers and mothers, but I also can't blame Israel from responding to violence with violence. As some point it has to stop or it will go on until one or both societies are destroyed. Given the balance of power in the region, I don't think Palestinians can rationally expect that the survivor will be them.
