Guest Post: The Madness Of A Lost Society

Tyler Durden's picture

Via Mike Krieger of Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

While we are very far gone at the moment as a society, never forget there are millions of people out there fighting for what is right and we will succeed in ushering in a new and more positive era for life on earth.  These 11 minutes are well worth your time.

Oh James. Forget about 3 fuel generators and spend your money on hand-tools and people and animal powered machines. Our forefathers did it and the Amish still do it. I lived without electricity for 8 yearsand became very familiat with a goose-neck hoe, kerosene lamps and a good team of horses. Add a few chickens, a dairy cow, a couple acres vegetables and woodlot and you can take care of yourself and a few good neighbors. Fuck the plastic and cardboard shit and those who sell and promote it.

Let's all get together in meetings and decide who, if anybody, will do the actual work that is required.

This will be controversial, so expect a lot of meetings before actual work, if any, starts getting done.

That's what makes America the economic power that she is today.

As for me, I'll just keep planting stuff I can eat, and sharing ideas and sugar with the neighbors who aren't total zombies.

somecallmetimmah's picture

The 'answer' to any addiction, which you correctly identify as the core paradigm here in America, is the individual's personal decision to change.  But the ability to change and the decision to do so, are radically distinct things.

It doesn't take a village.  It doesn't require more hand-outs, or a "leg-up", or a big tent, or "power to the people" or any other "I'm just a helpless victim" distraction.

Decide.  Act.

RockyRacoon's picture

SheepHerder, lovely sentiment and, of course, a nice set of ideas.  Utopia, however, will not begin unless the First Step is taken.  Recognition that there is a problem is required.   As with any addiction, one must admit that there is a problem, hence, a solution.   As long as there are throngs at Black Friday there will always be factions in our own neighborhoods who will thwart any attempt at change.   If you can get a group together the day after Thanksgiving to work on a common project, really work, then your core group is workable.  As somecallmetimmah has pointed out: "Decide.  Act."  I've decided and am acting.  If you wanna join me, great.  If not, get out of the way.  Keep coming back.

Nothing lost here...just a bunch of conditioned sheep. Wear yourself out worrying how to change them back to democracy and the constitution, but then you are then missing the point. Its YOU that needs to stop and look in the mirror. The oligarchy owns you too. Without you changing then forget the sheep....THEY are hopelessly controlled by the mass psyops.

ArrestBobRubin's picture

Right there with ya Kli.

"And so with gods and men, the sheep remain inside their pen, though many times they've see the way to leave"

-Peter Gabriel

It's tough holding open the sheep pen gate and then watching as 99% of the sheep remain intent on their one-way trip to the abbatoir. But some do decide to leave.  One of these days we'll hit the Hundedth Monkey, I just hope it won't be too late to matter.

Your general thesis is correct,,,,but please stop referring to the U.S. as a democracy, we are not a democracy!!!!! We are a republic,,,,,huge distinction....

P.S. A democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner... As in 60% of the people believe in gun control...the remaining 40% FUCKEM.....You see my point? I'm with the 60%, Gun control = a steady hand and a sharp eye..

MachoMan's picture

Being as diplomatic as possible, we have a de facto democracy.  You might call our form of government a republic, but it is only in form and not substance.

Manthong's picture

U.S. as a democracy, we are not a democracy!!!!! We are a republic,,,,,huge distinction.”

Um, correction .. we WERE a Republic.

The 17th Amendment turned the Senate into a mob psychology beauty contest of special interest contestants and subsequently wrecked the balance of an exquisitely designed republic focused on local and states rights.

Manthong's picture

Obviously, someone does not understand what was done to us in 1913 and that Senate appointments were the lynchpin of the states rights oriented republic that was pulled in favor of a federal dominion empowered by the malleable mob.

kill switch's picture

but it is only in form and not substance

My fault? I know this,,, and?  We should be subservient to this general misconception?

The US is a democracy - if the basis of your feeling better is reliant on your relative safety from the process of democracy, then get ready for discomfort.  Your so called republic is a representative democracy - and by this stage you should be aware, only the wolves get a vote.

Freedom is only available in anarchy - and any transition to anarchy after the collapse of a state is unlikely to be a pleasant transition - rather it will be punctuated by the gunfire of warlords seeking dictatorial control.

that link had some genuinely funny observations.

I clicked through to this, and was pleasantly surprised to find some folks with critical thinking skills, unafraid of going against the relentless tide. . .

haven't looked into all their "stance" but it's good to know some are out there.

Silver Shield huh? Could you be the one and only Chris Duane?

Tsunami Wave's picture

Nice to hear from ya Chris Duane... but please tell me right now....... what's the real reason marijuana is kept illegal?!?! You never got back to us with a TruthNeverTold video on that. That, and how perscription drug/anti-depressant/mood-stabilizers/other drugs affect people now and after the impending paradigm shift.

Shizzmoney's picture

what's the real reason marijuana is kept illegal?!?!

I always go with what williambonzai7 says: it makes one think more and it decreases the urge to be a incoherent consumerist driven zombie

Cathartes Aura's picture

not necessarily - insights are only as good as the mind "having" them, and many folks combine their substances with little respect.

the reasons, if you look into the history, have more to do with those age old suppressions of truth:

profit. and competition.

Lyrics by Bad Religion:

Yeah can you hear the call in our rambling land susurrations,
That can expand beyond all hope of light and plunge us into unrelenting night

A pall on truth and reason,
It feels like hunting season
So avoid those lines of sight and we'll set this right

Welcome to the new dark ages
I hope you're living right
These are the new dark ages
And the world might end tonight

"Daddy why are there bad guys in the world?"
Today my kid told me they had a lockdown drill at their school. They pile all the desks in front of th classroom door and wait for the bad guy to come. This is 6th graders. He told me that he stood off to the side and put a bunch of pencils in between his fingers to punch the " bad guy" in the face if need be.
He told me several of the sheeple( and he used the word sheeple) stood directly in front of the door trying to look out. He knows about the fatal funnel and he and the teacher told the kids get away from the door but they just stood there like sheeple.
We have millions of sheeple in this world that can't see the bad guys coming.

Cathartes Aura's picture

and in the 50's the skoolkids had drills for hiding under their desks, rehearsing the Russian's nuking their towns.

*duck 'n' cover*

might be better to not send kids to these institutional instruction zones, avoid the trauma dreams, and their eventual real-isations over time.

Dr. Sandi's picture

It's more efficient when attempting to identify the bodies if they're all neatly lined up under desks. No piles of mixed remains that way.

That's in the places where the desks weren't already vaporized.

FeralSerf's picture

I remember doing that in grammar school.  It also taught us what bad people the commie Ruskies were.   Then when Vietnam came along, we all understood the domino theory and how important it was to stop the commies before they got to America.

The commies wanted America more than anything because we had cars and refrigerators and they didn't.

debtandtaxes's picture

They have our children. And we just hand them to the state for 6 hours a day, 5 days a week.

My 6 yr old is learning that it's *our* fault global warming is Canada.

Cathartes Aura's picture

I highly recommend you NOT let a government get hold of your child's mind.

Canada has a very healthy "unschool" movement going - search it - and I can absolutely recommend this author:

Grace Llewellyn:  The Teenage Liberation Handbook: How to Quit School and Get a Real Life and Education

it's more for older kids/teens, but you'll get the ideas nonetheless.  don't let your kids be indoctrinated, and realise you can un-learn your "lessons" if you spend more time with them, seeing the world through their eyes. . .

oh, and it goes without saying, ditch the TV too.

Who in their sane mind would approve Marc Karney, to replace Mervyn the swerve King, for ( CEO of BOE)?

Junk Me if I'm wrong?  Tell me why? Canada is awesome on Natural resources!   We all know what is happening!

CCanuck's picture

Does it have to be qualified with sane? I can name some, wait, a whole fucn bunch of insane that would invite the squid to the party. but no sane, logical, or critical thinking person or entity would do it.

What do you see for US/CND 3months..6months YC?

Dr. Sandi's picture

Insane would be thinking that the people who put Carney in charge of the BOE give a smidge of a rat's arse what is good for anybody but themselves.

It's evil, don't touch it.

If you really want to know how we wound up as a "Lost Society", you need to face up to who "Lost" us. It's not like it happened by accident. It's the legacy of the Federal Reserve Act and the traitorous Fifth Column who rammed it down our throats. It's the legacy of the Coup of 11/22/63, when the last President with the stones to do something about the conspirators had his head blown off in broad daylight. It's the legacy of 9/11/2001 and how the events of that day were used to mask crimes and justify tyranny and war mongering.

We didn't get here by accident. We got "Lost" by design.

Brzezinski: US must stop following Israel “like a stupid mule”

Here's a snippet to whet your appetite:

"....By denying any US “obligation” to “follow like a stupid mule whatever the Israelis do,” Brzezinski accurately implied that this is exactly what the US has been doing up until now. And by plaintively opining that “the United States has the right to have its own national security policy,” the former National Security Adviser underlined the fact that since the assassination of John F. Kennedy, who secretly went to war with Ben Gurion in a doomed effort to abort the Israeli nuclear weapons program, the US has not enjoyed that right.

Brzezinski’s assertion that the US is being led by the nose like a stupid mule by the Israelis is perhaps the most candid statement of its kind ever uttered in public by a high-level US strategist. Brzezinski’s remarks reflect the mainstreaming of the arguments presented by leading US political scientists Walt and Mearsheimer in their book The Israel Lobby.

Indeed, Brzezinski has gone much further than Walt and Mearsheimer, who couch their critique of the tail-wags-the-dog US-Israel relationship in extremely cautious language. By laying it out so explicitly, Brzezinski is in effect joining the ranks of such scholars as James Petras and Grant Smith, who leave Walt and Mearsheimer in the dust as they boldly and accurately describe the outrageous, destructive, and quite literally criminal Israeli domination of the US. (As Smith argues in Foreign Agents, the hundreds of thousands of members of the Zionist Power Configuration described by Petras are acting as unregistered agents of a foreign power; if the law were properly enforced, they would all be in prison.)..."  Contd

If you want Real, not fluff, it's right there for you.

+1 Bob,

I doubt this article would go over well over at TFMR.

AIPAC's claws run so deep into the US gov't it's beyond most peoples comprehension level.

Salah's picture

This is bullshit.  JFK was killed because he axed Allen Dulles' abortive Bay of Pigs fiasco with zero US naval support, thus allowing the commies to takeover Cuba, and sending a message to the Soviets that the new American Prez was a pussy.  Emboldened, they ratcheted up the whole deal with nuclear missiles, that brought us to the brink of N-war in October '62.  The decision was made that Kennedy and his lineage-in-waiting had to go.

As for our debt-fueled, consumerist madness all being orchestrated by "old world banking families" who want to depopulate Planet Earth....ask yourself, "Why in the fuck are they trying to save the rotten corpse of Europe as fast as they can?  especially if it's some grand master plan for chaos and destruction?"  Shouldn't they be trying to drop-kick the whole Rube Goldberg assembly into the sea as soon as possible?

And let's not forget the old standby, tried and true, when all else fails...blame the Jews.  Oh wow, how fucking convenient is that artifice?

Dude, you got too much time on your hands to indulge in this kind of paranoia.  If it all comes unraveled like a cheap Soviet suit, it won't be for any of the reasons these guy give, especially the conspiratorial ones.  It will just be of its own inertia, and the real root cause will be what it always is: human folly.

Bay of Pigs's picture

LOL. That didn't take long.

Random's picture

There are people around saying the JFK wasn't murdered at all and you have to look no further to find him than Carter (complete with Jacqueline and the kids). Regardless if this is true or not JFK image is just that, a manufactured image. He was just as fucked up as all his predecessors and subsequent US presidents, a murdering mother fucker and a rag for all kind of smaller or bigger interests. Fuck him and his alleged high horse.
