What Is Obama So Afraid Of?

Tyler Durden's picture

Via Mike Krieger of Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

I saw this memo on the official whitehouse.gov website the other day, but I was traveling and never had a chance to post it.  I figured it would be too late by now, yet I am still not seeing it being widely discussed.  It implies that the Obama Administration may be very worried about the truth getting out about all of their crimes, potentially via leaks from high places.  Read it for yourself, but the language is pretty clear.  Here are some excerpts:

This Presidential Memorandum transmits the National Insider Threat Policy and Minimum Standards for Executive Branch Insider Threat Programs (Minimum Standards) to provide direction and guidance to promote the development of effective insider threat programs within departments and agencies to deter, detect, and mitigate actions by employees who may represent a threat to national security.

The resulting insider threat capabilities will strengthen the protection of classified information across the executive branch and reinforce our defenses against both adversaries and insiders who misuse their access and endanger our national security.

BARACK OBAMA

Oh and this came out the day before Thanksgiving.  How cute.  As someone said on twitter today, if telling the truth endangers “national security,” then we are doing national security wrong.

Full memo here:

Presidential Memorandum -- National Insider Threat Policy and Minimum Standards for Executive Branch Insider Threat Programs

MEMORANDUM FOR THE HEADS OF EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES

SUBJECT: National Insider Threat Policy and Minimum Standards for Executive Branch Insider Threat Programs

These threats encompass potential espionage, violent acts against the Government or the Nation, and unauthorized disclosure of classified information, including the vast amounts of classified data available on interconnected United States Government computer networks and systems.

The Minimum Standards provide departments and agencies with the minimum elements necessary to establish effective insider threat programs. These elements include the capability to gather, integrate, and centrally analyze and respond to key threat-related information; monitor employee use of classified networks; provide the workforce with insider threat awareness training; and protect the civil liberties and privacy of all personnel.

The resulting insider threat capabilities will strengthen the protection of classified information across the executive branch and reinforce our defenses against both adversaries and insiders who misuse their access and endanger our national security.

But it has now been openly decreed as such, will that resonate with anyone now?  Has the Rubicon been crossed?  Hello?!

Openly??? LOL

Until Bill O'Really and Rachel Madcow start blabbing about it, it doesn't exist.

The truth has a very limited constituency.

I'm still waiting for a plausible explanation of how a US ambassador got killed in Libya.

Seems like a few RPGs and bullets did the trick.

Susan Rice already told us.  And the O showed us his birth certificate, college records, reason for withdrawal of Illinois law certification, whatever.

Ya know, it's people like you asking too much of a very busy guy whose getting ready for a well deserved long vacation just when the Fiscal Cliff hits

(fuck us all..........)

That and getting gang raped by a bunch of neanderthals that supposedly can stand homosexuality.

pods's picture

Rape is the default CIA psyop to dehumanize enemies.  Of course only subhumans would do something so vile.

Remember Saddam's "rape rooms"? I'm sure you do, for Hannity made sure we remember it.

Pretty soon they will be taking babies out of incubators.  Wait, they already did that.

And the German's made lampshades out of the Jews, yada yada yada.

Benghazi is nothing but a distraction.

It was clearly some sort of CIA op, maybe a firefight or something and that is that. It happens all the time, you just don't generally hear about it because not all "Ambassadors" are also moonlighting in CIA operations...Plus, it is easy for Repubs to point fingers at Dems and vice versa. Either way, the military industrial complex comes out on top.

Benghazi was all about transferring some 40 million pounds of Gaddafi's weapons from Libya to Syria so that the CIA could better destabalize Assad's government. All about US imperialism.

Cocomaan's picture

Don't forget that Gaddafi was ready to roll out the gold dinar while scrapping the petrodollar, all giving serious credibility to the African Union.

seek's picture

Exactly -- it wasn't a distraction, it was an accidental exposure of an Iran-Contra level move of US policy.

I think they would have even let part of it get exposed, but TPTB couldn't afford it coming out that the weapons were going mostly to imported "Syrian rebels" -- al qaeda.

I'm pretty sure the news that the US is arming al qaeda in Syria the same time we're fighting them in Afghanistan (where they kill US soldiers) wouldn't play too well, particularly during the election.

nmewn's picture

It's certainly starting to look that way...that and Obama "spiking the ball" all over the place, dislocating his arm slapping himself on the back for getting Bin Hidin, while at the same time saying AQ is dead.

No, not really.

Some of those weapons are winding in Mali (just below Libya) as well...not good.

seek's picture

I have little doubt there will be another "fast and furious" moment in Afghanistan when the weapons will show up eventually, likely outed by a pissed off officer with dead soldiers driven to speak by the inevitable coverup.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's why the house cleaning on the .mil side is happening. I have to imagine there's probably a few people in the chain of command that are super pissed about no rescue happening in Benghazi.

nmewn's picture

"I have to imagine there's probably a few people in the chain of command that are super pissed about no rescue happening in Benghazi."

I have it on reasonably good authority they are.

seek's picture

I'm not surprised. When I read that they had a target designator and were actively lasing targets from the safe house and nothing happened... in any other admin, heads would roll for that.

Breaking fucking news: No US ambassador was killed in Libya. If you don't believe me just look for news about ambassador's BURIAL (not about coffins or other shit like that). You're welcome!

Random's picture

Give me a fucking break, over one month after the alleged killing and only after folks started to ask questions about it. Check this: http://www.rememberingchrisstevens.com/. This is the mark of a fake victim (for further research avenues, related to this modus operandis, check the same kind of pages for fake 9/11 victims). You are welcome, again!

OMG - Is that an ass on an ass?

The "tell" is right there at the top. The CIA/NSA loves to do this kind of shit.
