Guest Post: Why Is The U.S. Allied With Al Qaeda In Syria?

Tyler Durden's picture

Via Mike Krieger of Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

I have made comments about this on many occasions over the past several months, as even mainstream media outlets have covered the fact that our allies, the “Syrian rebels,” actually have a large “Al Qaeda” element to them (whatever the hell that means).

To me this is just further proof that our foreign policy is a complete joke, run by a bunch of insane chicken hawks in Washington D.C.

From McClatchy:

QALAT AL MUDIQ, Syria — When the group Jabhat al Nusra first claimed responsibility for car and suicide bombings in Damascus that killed dozens last January, many of Syria’s revolutionaries claimed that the organization was a creation of the Syrian government, designed to discredit those who opposed the regime of President Bashar Assad and to hide the regime’s own brutal tactics.

Nearly a year later, however, Jabhat al Nusra, which U.S. officials believe has links to al Qaida, has become essential to the frontline operations of the rebels fighting to topple Assad.

The prominence of Nusra in the rebel cause worries U.S. and other Western officials, who say its operations rely on the same people and tactics that fueled al Qaida in Iraq – an assertion that is borne out by interviews with Nusra members in Syria.

Among Nusra fighters are many Syrians who say they fought with al Qaida in Iraq, which waged a bloody and violent campaign against the U.S. presence in that country and is still blamed for suicide and car bombings that have killed hundreds of Iraqis since the U.S. troops left a year ago.

Nusra’s rise is most evident in Syria’s north and east, where anti-Assad forces have recently been racking up impressive military gains. Gone are the days just five months ago when Nusra’s actions seemed limited to car and suicide bombings. Now, Nusra fighters are organized in battalion-sized groups that are often armed with heavy weaponry.

“When we finish with Assad, we will fight the U.S.!” one Nusra fighter shouted in the northeastern Syrian city of Ras al Ayn when he was told an American journalist present. He laughed as he said it and then got into a van and drove off, leaving the journalist unable to ask whether it had been a joke.

Did you catch that?  We are literally allied with some of the same fighters that we battled in Iraq!  The bigger point is we are supposed to be willing to give up our freedoms and civil liberties to fight an enemy that we are supporting in Syria?  Our “leaders” have no shame.

Yes, it includes the "Christian" god (small g) as currently defined by Judaics who have run the Roman "church" for centuries and certainly own the so-called "Protestant church" from top to bottom.

Don't think Judaics run Rome?  After Rome banned the Talmud, who do you think gave the Rabbis the gift of re-publishing the Talmud?  Rome.  During the Inquisition, what do you think the Rabbis did when faced with either death or submitting to Rome?  They swapped their Rabbinical suits for Rome's funny hats.  How do you explain the fact that Rome recently declared that anyone who thinks or states that Ioudaios (ew-DI-ahws, Hebrews, the word "jew" never existed till 1775AD) killed Jesus is going to hell?  This teaching labels Luke and Paul of Tarsus as liars, because they both clearly state that Ioudaios murdered Jesus, even though Pilate a gentile oversaw the crucifixion, Scripture assigns spiritual and actual guilt to the Ioudaios.  Roman priests, when they visit Judaic shrines or buildings, now routinely remove or hide their crucifixes in obesance to their Judaic masters.

Turn on any "Christian" radio station or visit a Protestant church and it will take all of about five seconds for them to trot out their Jew worship and Jew glory and Jews must rule the planet earth dogma.  The last "church" I visited plastered the top of every bulletin with the OT vs glorifying physical Israel: "I will bless those who bless thee and curse those who curse thee."  IOW, if you get in physical Israel's way, you are dead meat and I will kill you for god.

Absolutely no, not if your definitions of Christ arrive through careful and considerate reading of Scripture and no other source.  In the NT (Hebrews 7 and 8 are quite clear on this) we learn that our Jersalem is only a spiritual city "not built with hands."  Jesus' Kingdom is "not of this world."  Jesus' Father has "built a mansion with many rooms" and Jesus "prepares a room for us".  To everyone waiting for a phsyical mansion I have news for you: Jesus' Kingdom "is not of this world" and "the Kingdom of God is within you."

Why do you think there is all of the sudden this big PR splash on WMD's in Syria.  We need a cover to start another war because the last thing we need is another Islamist government in the Middle East.  We are having a hard enough time with Egypt and no matter what we do, Afghanistan is likely going to be pulled back that way.

My guess is that we'll see direct US or NATO involvement with the cover of WMD's relatively shortly to preven Al Queda and the conservative fundamentalists from becomming the driving force in a post Assad Syria.  In this case, as much as I hate it, I think it might be the only choice.

The use of mercenaries in war is as old as war itself. Get used to it.

People can piss and moan, whine and complain till the cows come home.

It will change nothing.

The simple reality is that this is warfare. It is a dirty, nasty business. It involves deceit, violence of action, killing people and breaking stuff.

Sometimes there are needs on the battlefield that require a concentration of skill sets at force levels unavailable from the ranks of the uniformed.

Sometimes it requires fighters with local language skills and dialects.

Sometimes it requires those who look forward to dying as much as we look forward to living.

Sometimes it involves hiring those who were trying to kill you 6 months earlier and will probably try again 6 months from now.

But right now, it is business.

Brahahahaha. Many of the Muj fighters are probably being paid with stacks of increasingly worthless FRNs.

War is a nasty business.

You are right. Too many people think that war should be clean and fair instead of being fought to win. Having said that I don't support any of this BS , and I believe we should get our asses the hell out of there. Leave it up to them to sort it out.

Absolutely. And 'americanism' is as old as humanity itself.

'Americans' already deploys mercenaries through their private security agencies.

All those Al qaeda fighters are not hired as mercenaries. They are hired because they are the people 'americans' want to be in charge instead of the guy who is currently in charge.

Some persons such as myself do not need any particular "nation" because God gave us a "new Jerusalem not built with hands".  The following fallacy is promulgated by chosenites AKA Jews and their unholy lying sack of crap sycophants AKA evangelical "Christians": they all desire and believe in a physical Israel, not a spiritual Israel.  This is why they all glorify war and death and killing.  The following OT vs. applies to you and them:

"Those who hate me love death."

If you support war and death, even for self defense, you hate God.

Al Qaida is made up. It was made up in a Manhattan courtroom in January 2001, by Jimal Al-Fadl, to try those responsible for the 1998 bombings in east Africa. It was the US way of catching then not well know Osama Bin Laden with the RICO act. Al-Fadl who was being paid by the US, portrayed an organization that had an all powerful figure at the head and a heirarchy of lower leaders. In fact Bin Laden never used the term Al Qaida until after 9/11 because it was the term the Americans had given him.

The CIA created Al Qaeda. The CIA armed them to fight the Russians in Afghanistan. Al Qaeda and US were allies in the Balkan Wars. Al Qaeda played a key role in the US toppling Ghadaffi in Lybia. The US now uses Al Qaeda to run weapons from Lybia thru Turkey to Syria. Al Qaeda is fighting the US war against Assad. And BTW they were complicit with our own US government in the attack on NYC. Wake the fuck up folks.

The key mistake made by Mr Krieger here is to associate himself with the enemy...it leads to terminal confusion and makes it impossible to see through the theatrical production which is being staged with the help of a complicit media to bamboozle the CampFema pre-registrants.

Our and we need to be a avoided at all cost..."your" government is owned and operated by an extremist terrorist network which has your complete destruction as it's goal...

"they" have gradually defrauded you not just of your wealth, but of your very liberty, and have connived not only to convince you not to challenge their so doing, but have succeeded in creating in your mind the notion that they are working on your behalf and have the right to eliminate any voice which might gainsay them.

An intricate and longstanding plan to set east and west against each other, and to destroy each other with no other reason than the fictional animosities being engineered by the usurpers in control of your daily reality is near to completion..."ÿou" will need to act decisively in very short order, or suffer the consequences of your somnolent slumber.

I've been posting this story for some months now. Israel itself has released information that more than 3,000 proven Al-Qaeda Jihadi terrorists are engaged in the Free Syrian Army.

The US mainstream media has refused to report that for many months now the US has supplied looted Libyan arms to Al-Qaeda and helped transport the know terrorists to Turkey where they are paid, feed, armed, trained and then sent into Syria to fight the government forces.

The US is intent on taking the secular government down and either putting a NATO puppet in charge, or failing that, to split Syria into mini states, many of which would be controlled by NATO puppets.

The end result is Israel will no longer face a conventional unfriendly nation in the form of a united Syria. This makes Israel an even stronger regional power. That is why Israel goes along with the NATO war on Syria.

The US is heavily engaged with Al-Qaeda and has been since the Soviet Afghan war. Anyone who believes the US government is at war with Muslim extremists needs to understand that we are ONLY at war with anti US muslim extremists. Those who are enemies of US enemies are supported. Including the Al-Qaeda groups who carry out a terror war against Russia. The Russian believe that these groups are supported by the US CIA. I don't know if this is true, but I know for a fact that many Russians believe it.

he is wrong. israel is next. there is no way the amount of israel bashing in the msm comment sections and even articles bashing israel's involvement in the election process and the ridicule of nutanyahoo at the un would be allowed(it wasn't allowed just a few years ago) unless the aim is to soften the people of the usa's support for israel. it is not just nutandyahoo and likud. it is israel.  would there be a wholesale sell out of israel by europe on the palestinian state issue totally isolating israel? the europeans have broken free of of any obligation to israel. the usa is next but it is a much more difficult issue that has to be tiptoed into. the israelis are weak. the first sign of actual danger will have them flooding the el al counter bidding on tickets to go back to europe the usa and russia like they have in the past. with the israelis gone who cares if the muslim brotherhood takes over all the arab states as long as they sell oil at a stable price. money trumps israel and all the oil money is in the hands of gentiles who know it is more important than any state, especially one that insists on causing trouble where all the oil is while israel has nothing to offer.

on a side note, dr sabrosky openly stated the the highest level military personel were shocked to hear his presentation on 9/11. he stated that the information would lead to the destruction of israel. dr. kissinger stated israel would not exist in ten years.

I've done nothing much but confirm my worst fears at this site for the past couple years.

All I can say about your post is: From your keyboard to God's monitor!

Oh, what a blessed and wonderful day to live long enough for this glorified sewer rat of a nation (Israel) to fall off the man-made geographical maps...I mean the common occurence of God building and destroying nations all the time, as he has done and continues to do.

When the subject arises of the disappearance of the Roman Empire, does anyone instantly declare how utterly sad and detestable it is that Rome fell?  Does anyone cry it was unjust and bigotted to let Rome fall?  Is everyone who is against re-building the Roman Empire labelled an epithet such as "anti-Roman?"

But there is a huge and powerful obstacle.  Every so-called evangelical scum bag "pastor" (such word does not occur in the NT, I'll bet you $500) and priest and rabbi will muster all these pagan so-called "Christians" and other screw balls to fight the passing of Israel to the death.  Other than killing all the pastors (I'm against all human violence even for self defense, just like Jesus) what solution do you have for that problem?

Mike, this latest thread goes back to US attempts to undermine Hezbollah and isolate it from Syria and Iran by funding counter-balance Sunni networks in Lebanon.  Many that would become active as local/regional participants of these policy decisions have turned up all over the MENA region, including Syria.

So this really surprises anyone? US foreign policy has produced many "friends" of convenience over the decades to accomplish some short term goal only to see those "friends" turn into our enemies. The only difference now is that the list of "friends" is rapidly growing which will inevitably produce a vast array of new enemies down the road.

These policy makers are only good at one thing, and that is being on the wrong side of history over and again. These lawyers turned politicians select their fellow policy maker assistants out of academic allegiance where much of what they know just aint so. We need people in these positions of power that have true wisdom. What we have are pseudo-intellectual fools shaping global foreign and economic policy. We need people such as ourselves, who 'never allowed schooling to get in the way of our education.'

To carry on some more wisdom from the great Mark Twain:

"A man who does not read newspapers is an uninformed man; while a man who does read newspapers is a misinformed man."

Which is worse, to be uninformed or misinformed? Well it is simple really. It is not what these people don't know that causes the most trouble in the world, it's the things these policy makers already know that just isn't so.

I remember when another idiot television talking boob named Dan Rather was asked by some idiot interviewer why we were attacked on 9/11/01, and the academic boob just repeated what every other ivory tower policy maker fool had stated was the reason for the attack. He said so succinctly, "because they hate us."

It's just hate, plain and simple. They just be hate'n for no reason,is what they tell 'boobus-americanus'

The real reason for the hate is because of another H-word. Hypocrisy. These policy makers today are just the same as the policy makers of the past. On all of them the hammer of Ultimate Justice will fall. When one reads the new testament(wether a believer or not), one can only notice how Jesus forgave and had merciful words for the adulterers, thieves/criminals and even murderers. His words of condemnation and damnation fell on the rulers, the scribes and pharasees, whom he repeatedly scouled and defined as hypocrits. The Jesus described in the new testament was full of forgiveness, understanding and compassion, but he had nothing but pure vitriolic disdain for the rulers(policy makers) of His day.

Those whose speech and actions impinge upon the God-given rights set forth in the Declaration of Independence and codified in the Constitution are, by definition, excepted from protection under the First Amendment (as well as the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment). This is a very important concept to consider, because it is based on these presumptions of protected speech and equal protection for all that progressives and socialists have engaged in their predation upon our liberties.

If these truths can be acknowledged and widely accepted as such (as opposed to progressives’ Orwellian interpretations), then the political disenfranchisement of liberals, progressives, socialists and Marxists can begin in earnest, and in the open.

Why?

Taking a look at history.

'Americanism' emerged as the US was born.

From the beginning, 'americans' have been playing the besieged mindset.

At start, it was grounded on facts since the US was surrounded by royalties. Even if the threat was exaggerated.
(Side note: from that date, one can look at the relationship 'american' nations have crafted with themselves and dictatures. Very learning)

But since 1776, July, 4th, time flew. And 'americans' were very successful into asserting global hegemony on the world, to a level no one has before.

But 'americans' need that besieged mindset. The 'american' freedom and liberties must be threatened by an exterior enemy.

During their ascent, 'americans' pushed aside credible threats but the harsh reality is here: down the road now, you've got the likes of Somali pirats.

The mightiest threat on 'american' freedom and liberties would be those kindergaten guys.

Big feel of loneliness as 'americans' could no longer evacuate their own actions by mere diversion on that powerful foreign enemy.

These days are days the emergency bell rings: 'americans' must manufacture their own external threat as they want to keep living the dream of that big, all mighty external threat.

Every new government in that area is a puppet government with no legitimacy but the guns their grab on power was backed by.
By pushing up those AQ guys, 'americans' make any newly born government dependent on AQ.

In other words, 'americans' are pushing AQ as a political force in those areas. Local people do not welcome them by the way. But they will have to learn how to make with them, as they are the special guests imposed by 'americans'

And the global picture will grow as it: from a minority, very local and with a limited reach, thanks to 'american' support, AQ will become a force that is transversal to a whole world region.

AQ has now seats in an increasing number of the countries of the zone. An expansion AQ could not achieve on their own.

It serves 'americans' as they can now point fingers as a foreign enemy, while still puny, that has a better face and credibility.

The re emerging of the ottoman empire. You can hear or read 'americans' fantasizing about that stuff.

So we might be witnessing the emergence of the first empire in human history that is not self built but built by an exterior agent, doing this to satisfy needs for an external threat.

This is an 'american' world and 'americanism' full potential is yet to be tested seriously.

More rewritten history from the upcoming book The AnAnonymous Fabled Past:

Why?

Taking a look at history.

'Americanism' emerged as the US was born.

Innocuous enough on its own, this statement becomes another example of the Chinese citizenism author's fabled past non-sequiturds when considered alongside the following remark he made in a comment a little further up the page:

And 'americanism' is as old as humanity itself.

From the beginning, his 'US citizenism' has been the product of a deranged mindset.

At start, it was grounded on anything but facts since the US dominated his fantasies. Always the threat was exaggerated. (Side note: one can look at the relationship of the 'US citizenism' fantasies the Chinese citizenism author has crafted around himself and the bitter, hypocritical disposition caused by his ill-fitting dentatures. Very learning.)

But to 1776,July,4th, and even earlier, he flew through time in his Ben Franklinism inventionated time-travelling flying rickshaw, becoming a direct observer of all history and prehistory. And 'AnAnonymosity' was very repetitious in asserting global fantasy on the world, to a level no one has before.

But Chinese citizenism citizens need that besieged mindset. The consequences of blobbing up must be pushed off onto an exterior scapesgoat due to Chinese citizenism citizens inability to self indiction.

During his descent, AnAnonymous pushed aside credible thoughts but as the opium smoke wears off the harsh reality is here: down the road now, he's encountered the likes of Slewie pi-rats.

The mightiest threat to his fantasy world could be mustered even by those kindergaten guys that beat him up and steal his lunch money.

Big feel of loneliness as 'AnAnonymousitizens' could no longer evacuate on their own roadsides because of more diversion onto the roadsides of that powerful foreign enemy Tibet.

These days are days the dinner bell rings: Chinese citizenism citizens must wok all their dogs to digest, manufacture, and excrete their own external threat as they want to keep living the dream of squatting on the side of that big, all mighty global road.

It serves Chinese citizenism citizens as they can now blob up and point fingers at a Tibetan enemy, while still puny, that has a better face and credibility.

The re emerging of the Han empire. You can hear or read AnAnonymated hypocritizens fantasizing about that stuff.

So we might be witnessing the emergence of the first empire in human history that is not self built but self excreted, doing this to satisfy needs for roadside defecation.

Somehow that is very something.

"WHY"

Energy flows through its own path of least resistance. In the human world that means the path of least morality. One may look at that from many different perspectives, or levels of reality, which are each "real" in their own ways. The one that I think is the most plainly obvious is the control of the money system, by those best organized gangs of criminals, that were able to become the puppet masters of puppet politicians, who legalized counterfeiting of the money supply, and forced everyone to accept that runaway triumphant fraud.

Thus, the main reason "why" almost everything is happening is that energy flows down its own path of least resistance, or path of least morality, because there is nothing else organized to change that path of least resistance, to prevent that from happening. The supreme organized criminals are the international banksters, who are the biggest gangsters, that ALREADY effectively control almost the whole world, and are working hard to consolidate their control over the world's fiat money supply, and to force everyone else to accept that privatized fiat money made out of nothing as debt system. They enjoy the maximum benefits from the established systems of fraud backed by force.

After one perceives the systems that the international banksters made and maintained, it becomes clear that they also control the secret police within all the puppet governments, which have already legalized the counterfeiting of their money supplies. The banksters are playing all sides, and controlling the opposition ... That is what they normally do, and have been doing for a long time. Thus, the latest installments of their behavior have been working towards using Islamic factions to set up conditions to enable destroying Islamic countries.  It its own evil genius ways, this is brilliant, although also relatively easy, since the path of least morality is the path of least resistance.

Get all sides divided, and destroying each other, so that they all can be conquered. This is just the same "old war is based on deceits, and spies are the most important soldiers" gig, adapted slightly to contemporary times. Of course, since our puppet politicians follow their own paths of least morality, to then order actions which follow their own paths of least morality, we end up paying for both sides of the wars, subsidizing our enemies, to simultaneously destroy ourselves, as well as them, while, in the real world, some groups constantly make more and more profits, and gain more and more control throughout all of that. The only way to change that would be to organize better resistance, to change what the path of least resistance is. However, energy would still then be going down its own path of least resistance, and humans would still be acting according to the least possible morality, slightly modified by a better organized morality, that resisted that.

American foreign policy is due to a bunch of expediencies, one after another, which are deliberately designed to destroy America as a democratic republic, while also setting up conditions to have excuses to start more serious wars against Islamic countries. From the perspective of the evil genius behind American foreign policy, this is all excellent strategy. They get a wonderful two for one deal. They get to have genocidal foreign wars, and make money from that, and they get to have democidal martial law, and make money from that, as well as set up the social situation where they get to keep the money they made from starting and conducting the foreign wars. Of course, the people doing all that make us pay to arm our enemies, and use them as foils and tools, until they will later betray them, and indulge in belated excuses to use lots of weapons of mass destruction, after gradually driving everything to get bad enough for that to be able to be done. Then, that will loop around back to make doing similar things within North America look like those were then necessary things to do as well. I think it is really not hard to tell what is really going on ... just look at who ends up actually being more wealthy and more powerful, and more in control, after all those things are done. The best organized gangs of criminals are in control, and surely control our governments, and that explains "why" our governments do what they do, which otherwise would appear to be insanely incompetent.

When the water rushes over the waterfall, it just does that. Americans are being set up to destroy America, and that is why they are being controlled by huge lies, backed up by lots of violence, that makes everything worse and worse for most Americans, while a tiny international elite ends up constantly becoming more wealthy and powerful. For them it will just be more icing on the cake when they finally create a sufficiently dangerous Islamic force to justify using weapons of mass destruction to wipe that out. For them, that will be a wonderful excuse to finish imposing martial law within North America.

These things are all now on runaway trajectories. It appears to be utterly insane and irrational, but it is just the social habits of people addicted to money and power, who are more and more able to go on down their own paths of least morality, which are also the social paths of least resistance, to be able to control things more and more, so that there will be genocidal wars, along with democidal martial law. Personally, I believe that will go out of control, and backfire very badly for those who are making those things happen. However, all the way along, they are getting more wealthy, and more powerful, and therefore, even more able to carry out their plans. I see no practical ways to stop them, especially since enough Americans are mainstream morons, already brainwashed to believe so much in bullshit that they do not understand, and do not want to understand, anything that I have written above ... The government of the USA is run by a bunch of puppets, whose strings are pulled by those who profit from causing more insane wars, and who will benefit from that enabling the destruction of civil liberties. Enough Americans are already too brainwashed to be able to understand that, while too many of even the better educated Americans are unable to understand the basics, mainly because they do not want to, since doing so could end up destroying their careers.

Anyways, those are basic answers to this question:

Why Is The U.S. Allied With Al Qaeda In Syria?

I do not think that the puppet masters are truly intelligent. They are simply those whose social habits were selected by history to be who they are, and therefore, to do more of what they always were doing, except on a runaway, astronomically amplified scale.  Of course, in the longer term, human beings going down and down their path of least resistance is not too nice to imagine the final consequences of ... However, there are no fundamental dichotomies, and the only way to organized better resistance has to use the same methods as those who are currently running the established systems of least resistance, except to do that to try to develop a new system of resistance, or a new system of morality, that will channel the social energy in different ways.

Unfortunately, none of that seems at all realistic, since too many, and certainly enough, Americans are mainstream morons, who will keep on voting for the political puppets that are the best professional liars, and immaculate hypocrites, and therefore, America will keep on acting in ways that demonstrate the least morality, and therefore, generate final consequences which are consistent with behaving long enough in the least moral ways.

OF COURSE, Our “leaders” have no shame.

THAT WAS WHY THEY ARE OUR "LEADERS."

If the State Department and CIA get enough Islamic regimes in place with nuclear and chemical weapons programs they can keep the Us Defence Budget immune from spending cuts for decades. With the male demographics <15 years in the region it provides enough cannon-fodder for the Us and Israel to spent 110% GDP on weapons for ever more. Hell the French sponsored Khomeini sending him from Paris to Tehran on an Air France plane presumably funded by Elf-Acquitaine or Total

This is not news. True, it is rediculously disgusting. True also, it is business as usual for the USA.

Move along citizen......nothing to see here.
