Guest Post: Hey You

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Jim Quinn of The Burning Platform,

Hey you, out there on the road
always doing what you’re told,
Can you help me?
Hey you, out there beyond the wall,
Breaking bottles in the hall,
Can you help me?
Hey you, don’t tell me there’s no hope at all
Together we stand, divided we fall.

Pink Floyd – Hey You

“A really efficient totalitarian state would be one in which the all-powerful executive of political bosses and their army of managers control a population of slaves who do not have to be coerced, because they love their servitude.” Aldous Huxley – Brave New World

The world makes less sense every day. Little children are randomly slaughtered in their schoolrooms. Predator drones roam the skies over foreign countries exterminating bad guys, along with innocent women and children (collateral damage when it occurs in a foreign country). Drugged up mentally ill kids with no hope and no future live lives of secluded quiet desperation until they snap. Ignorant, government educated, welfare dependent drones with no self respect or respect for others, assault, kill and rob within their government created urban jungles. Sociopathic criminals who committed the largest financial crime in world history walk free and continue to occupy executive suites in luxury office towers in downtown NYC, collecting millions in bonuses as compensation for crushing the American middle class.  Academics, whose theories have been thoroughly disproven, continue to steer our economy into an iceberg while accelerating the money printing and debt issuance that will sink our ship of state. Corrupt, bought off politicians pander to the lowest common denominator as their votes are only dependent upon who contributed the most to their election campaigns, which never end. Delusional, materialistic, egocentric, math challenged consumers (formerly known as citizens) live for today, enslave themselves in debt, vote themselves more entitlements, and care not for future generations. The alienation and isolation created by our sprawling, automobile dependent, technology obsessed, government controlled, debt financed society has spread like a cancerous tumor, slowly killing our country.

Pink Floyd released The Wall 33 years ago. It was a concept rock opera album that explored the issues of ababdonment, isolation, alienation, authoritarianism, the brutality of war, a tyrannical conformist educational system, and the walls individuals and society build to protect themselves from having to confront reality and deal with the consequences of their actions. I attended the Roger Waters Wall Concert this past summer at Citizens Bank Park with my three sons. Three decades later, the message is more powerful than ever. The government oppression and never ending wars waged by the American Empire around the world have created a society built upon fear and loathing. Roger Waters’ vision is colored by Orwell’s 1984 dystopian nightmare of lies, misinformation, propaganda and brutality. The missing piece, which Waters didn’t see coming in 1979, was the ability of the oligarchs to use their control of the credit system to entrap the masses by convincing them to love their servitude and become so consumed with material possessions and the love of money that they would become nothing more than passive egotistical consumers.

Since 1979, Total Credit Market Debt in the United States has risen from $4.3 trillion to $55.3 trillion, a 1,286% increase in 33 years. Over this same time frame total wages and salaries have risen from $1.3 trillion to $6.9 trillion, a 531% increase. GDP has grown from $2.6 trillion to $15.8 trillion, a 608% increase. Luckily for the oligarchs, the math challenged masses don’t understand that 375% of the increase in GDP is strictly due to Federal Reserve created inflation, as the U.S. dollar has lost 68% of its purchasing power since 1979. This GDP growth was driven by debt, with consumer expenditures rising from 61% of GDP in 1979 to 71% of GDP today. In the one hundred years since the creation of the Federal Reserve the country’s population has tripled, while our public debt and unfunded liabilites have risen from $2 billion to over $200 trillion, a ten million percent increase. The masses have been programmed and conditioned to love their debt servitude and yearn for more debt to fix an economic system that collapsed due to excessive debt. The cadre of ruling elite are obliging by creating debt at hyperspeed levels. The corporate media, Wall Street shysters and low-life captured politicians assure the sheep-like masses that this is normal and beneficial to their interests, as the sheep are sheared and led to slaughter.

“There are some ideas so wrong that only a very intelligent person could believe in them.”George Orwell

Pavlov’s Dogs

“And always, everywhere, there would be the yelling or quietly authoritative hypnotists; and in the train of the ruling suggestion givers, always everywhere, the tribes of buffoons and hucksters, the professional liars, the purveyors of entertaining irrelevances. Conditioned from the cradle, unceasingly distracted, mesmerized systematically, their uniformed victims would go on obediently marching and countermarching, go on, always and everywhere, killing and dying with the perfect docility of trained poodles.” -  Aldous Huxley

Aldous Huxley and Edward Bernays realized in the 1920s that the utilization of conditioning and propaganda techniques could be used to control and manipulate the masses. Ivan Pavlov, the famous Russian physiologist, conducted the ground breaking work on conditional reflexes. Pavlov discovered that when a bell was rung in subsequent time with food being presented to a dog in consecutive sequences, the dog will initially salivate when the food is presented. The dog will later come to associate the ringing of the bell with the presentation of the food and salivate upon the ringing of the bell. To a critical thinking human being who questions authority, resists being told what they should think, and values their humanity, over what is crammed down their throat by government run schools and the corporate controlled media, the thought of being treated like a dog is revolting. But to people like Edward Bernays, who believed manipulation of the masses by an invisible contingent of intellectually superior men, conditioning the minds of the masses through propaganda was a necessity in a democratic society to keep the herd under control.

Just a cursory examination of our society reveals a population of salivating consumers (dogs) who can be stimulated to buy the latest iPhone or techno-gadget with a simple Madison Avenue advertising campaign (bell). Everyone has seen the videos of the masses lining up like cattle on Black Friday, stampeding through aisles, and fighting each other like their the entertainment at Michael Vick’s house on a Saturday night. All the mega-corporate retailers and the corporate media have to do is ring a bell (SALE) and the dogs start salivating. Product placement, Hollywood star endorsements and influential people using a product immediately convince the easily manipulated dogs to salivate and purchase the products. The difference is that these dogs have credit cards issued by the Wall Street banks and funded by the Federal Reserve with dollars created out of thin air.  We are inundated with millions of TV, newspaper, radio, billboard, and internet advertisements designed to make us salivate (spend). Huxley’s dystopian vision of a society whose economic values, in which individual happiness is defined as the ability to satisfy needs, and achievement as a society is equated with economic growth and prosperity, has come to full fruition. He never conceived of consumers having the ability to consume without even having the money to do so. The credit card became our form of Soma. The so called progressives point to our ever increasing “advancements” in technology as proof that our society is progressing. Huxley knew otherwise, decades before we reached this disgusting point in history:

“Technological progress has merely provided us with more efficient means for going backwards.” -  Aldous Huxley

In reality our “technological progress” has done nothing more than create a humorless, shallow, superficial world of alienation and egocentric desires. Just as in Huxley’s Brave New World, science and technology have not been used to seek truth and advance our culture. They have been used by the State to sensor, control, and monitor the citizens. They use technology as a means to create electronic entertainment machines that generate both harmless leisure and the high levels of consumption and production that are the basis of societal stability and state designed happiness. When those in control talk about progress, they mean greater control over our lives. When the consumption of material goods isn’t enough to fill the holes within our souls, our owners are quick to prescribe a pill to smooth over those feelings of unease and discontent. In Huxley’s novel the population voluntarily consumes Soma to dispel any anxieties or negative emotion. The saying was, “One cubic centimeter cures ten gloomy sentiments.” In America the government controlled drug industry has thousands of pills to treat every ailment or unhappy thought that might ail you. Just don’t try and treat yourself with an unapproved natural or banned substance. The threat of imprisonment always lurks in the shadows. They just want us to be interchangeable bricks in the wall.

And the Worms Ate Into His Brain

“The real hopeless victims of mental illness are to be found among those who appear to be most normal. Many of them are normal because they are so well adjusted to our mode of existence, because their human voice has been silenced so early in their lives that they do not even struggle or suffer or develop symptoms as the neurotic does. They are normal not in what may be called the absolute sense of the word; they are normal only in relation to a profoundly abnormal society. Their perfect adjustment to that abnormal society is a measure of their mental sickness. These millions of abnormally normal people, living without fuss in a society to which, if they were fully human beings, they ought not to be adjusted.” -  Aldous Huxley

Hey you, out there in the cold
Getting lonely, getting old
Can you feel me?
Hey you, standing in the aisles
With itchy feet and fading smiles
Can you feel me?
Hey you, don’t help them to bury the light
Don’t give in without a fight.

Pink Floyd – Hey You

The tragic deaths of twenty children and six adults in Newtown, Connecticut this past week and the similar tragedies in Aurora, Columbine, Virginia Tech and Tucson are a reflection of the twisted society we’ve created. The progressive control freak do-gooders that believe the government can solve all problems and improve our lives with another law or regulation, have as usual come to the wrong solution for the wrong problem. Stricter gun control laws would not have averted this this tragedy. Connecticut has the 5th toughest gun restrictions in the country according to the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence. The guns were purchased legally by the mother of the killer. Mentally deranged people should not have access to guns, knives, automobiles, gasoline, or baseball bats. The real issue is not what he used to kill these innocent people, it’s what caused him to snap. Those in power want to divert the attention from this crucial question. In Huxley’s novel the characters do everything they can to avoid confronting the truth about their own lives. They try to alter reality by ingesting Soma, encouraged by the state as the ultimate form of willful self-delusion. Soma clouds the realities of the present and replaces them with happy hallucinations, and is thus a tool for promoting social stability. America has taken Huxley’s dystopian vision to an extreme. There are millions of children in this country being drugged on a daily basis to keep them under control. A majority of the mass murderers were taking psychotropic drugs, including the mentally deranged killer this week. These killings are a result of the state sponsored drugging of children, a culture that promotes narcissism, broken families and our technologically enhanced suburban sprawl isolation from human relationships, love and compassion for others.

We glorify technology even though it encourages the building of brick walls, creating a self-imposed isolation from society. The traditional family unit has been discarded, with 50% of marriages ending in divorce and 43% of all children born out of wedlock. Millions of families are dysfunctional, with parents too busy with their careers and acquiring material possessions, to bother with raising their children in a loving nurturing way. One in ten American adults choose to escape their man made cells with prescription anti-depressants. Almost one in four women in their 40s and 50s are popping pills to escape their depressing lives. Huxley envisioned a Soma Nation. America is a Prozac Nation. The wealthy think medicating their kids, spoiling them with toys, gadgets and cars, and occupying their days with organized sports and activities passes for involved parenting. Poor urban children are lucky if they ever lay eyes on their father. Ignorance, violence, and dependency are a given for most of these kids. And all of these children are matriculated into the government run schools whose sole purpose is to teach kids what to think, rather than how to think. Our owners need to keep us “happy” and focused on feelings, material possessions, and an infinite number of distractions, so they can retain control and continue their pillaging of the national wealth.

Our leaders have attempted to design their own Brave New World, retaining control by making America’s citizens so contented and superficially fulfilled that they no longer care about their personal freedoms, liberties and civic responsibilities. The consequences of increasing state power are a loss of dignity, morals, values, and emotions. We are losing our humanity. The society created by Bernays and his minions who occupy the executive suites in NYC and slither through the halls of Congress has been built upon destroying all human truths, such as love, friendship, community, and personal connections. Decades of media propaganda, public education mind control, and peddling of debt convinced the majority that happiness meant immediate gratification of our desires for food, sex, drugs, clothes, iGadgets, and all the other consumer crap made in corporate sponsored slave labor factories across Asia. These delusional hallucinations of happiness are the prison walls we’ve built brick by brick.

“This concern with the basic condition of freedom — the absence of physical constraint — is unquestionably necessary, but is not all that is necessary. It is perfectly possible for a man to be out of prison and yet not free — to be under no physical constraint and yet to be a psychological captive, compelled to think, feel and act as the representatives of the national State, or of some private interest within the nation, want him to think, feel and act.” -  Aldous Huxley

It took the intellectuals and progressives that wield power across the land only moments to hijack the feelings of sorrow and pain sweeping the nation, to misdirect attention from the mental illnesses caused by the society they’ve created, towards the false storyline that gun violence is sweeping the land. In reality, violent crime has been falling for over a decade as gun sales have soared. The homicide rate in this country is the lowest since 1964, with the vast majority of homicides occurring in the urban kill zones created by the five decade long progressive war on poverty. The truth is of no interest to those brandishing power. After decades of conditioning, the masses are psychologically captive to the messages designed to make them salivate. They will be compelled to think, feel and act as instructed by the Alphas. There will be calls for more police, despite the fact that police rarely stop a crime. With all of their armaments, technology, high powered weaponry, and political clout, they can be counted on to arrive five minutes after the tragedy is over. But they are brilliant in luring clueless Muslim teenagers into terrorist plots, picking the target, providing the fake bombs, and taking credit for foiling the plots they created. More union police officers will increase our safety as much as more union teachers have made our kids smarter. This tragedy will be used by the propagandists to impose further restrictions upon those who choose personal responsibility and self-reliance over dependency and trust in the efficiency and fairness of our benevolent government overlords.

As the father of three sons I can’t imagine the pain, sorrow and emptiness the parents of these beautiful children must be experiencing. The grief is overwhelming. I mourn for the children and adults slaughtered by a mentally deranged young man created by our truly perverted culture of alienation. I mourn for the children being raised in a society run by evil psychopathic liars that use the power of propaganda and the tools of debt to control and manipulate its citizens. I mourn for unborn generations that will be forced to confront the dreadful depraved chaos created by our culture of egocentric greed and narcissism. The things we value in this culture – accumulating wealth, outward beauty, acquisition of material possessions, instant gratification, access to debt, government control, and curing our ills with drugs – are driving us insane. Who is really abnormal in a profoundly abnormal society? Believing that possessions, more laws or another medication will truly make us happy is insane. Popping a pill, buying a new iPhone, or passing another law will not cure the disease that permeates this nation. We need to recapture the humanity, civic pride and self-responsibility that built this country. Only an awakened populace can change our course.

Huxley feared that our desires would ruin us. Orwell was afraid that what we fear would ruin us. The oligarchs have pushed the Huxley vision to its sustainable limit. The avarice and greed of these invisible power brokers has devoured the vast resources of the nation. These psychopaths weren’t satisfied with siphoning off most of the wealth of the country. They wanted it all and wrecked the global economy in their odious pursuit of mammon. We are now in the death throes of the most decadent, delusional, debt engendered era in the long history of mankind. Those in power realize it is slipping away. Their “solutions” reflect an air of desperation. Their propaganda efforts have been redoubled. As more middle class workers lose their jobs, more young people graduate from college with tens of thousands in student loan debt and a future of dramatically reduced expectations, and more people are driven beyond their breaking point, this materialistic shroud of happiness will be torn asunder. Anger is building like a lava dome within a volcano. A critical thinking minority are questioning the motives of those in power. The unsustainability of our economic paradigm is certain. The seeds of revolution are being sown. Our society is only fantasy. The wall is too high. It will be up to an irate tireless minority of freedom minded citizens to tear down the wall. The alternative is to allow the worms to eat into our brains. Each of us must answer a simple question. Are you just another brick in the wall?

But it was only fantasy.
The wall was too high,
As you can see.
No matter how he tried,
He could not break free.
And the worms ate into his brain.

Pink Floyd – Hey You

The oligarchs will not give up without a fight. Their realization that the Brave New World method of controlling the masses has run its course has convinced them to shift their methods towards Orwell’s 1984 tactics. In part two of this series – Mother Should I Trust the Government? - I’ll address how the use of fear, war, pain, and surveillance are becoming the new controlling method of the oligarchs.

Moral Decay.  The state and large oligarchs pointedly wish to dumb-down the populace, steal their intellectual and religious heritage, and make culture an Africanized mosh pit of depravity.  Then they blame the black eye upon the fist instead of the prime mover of the fist, namely evil-doers.

The globe has chosen deeply and historically depraved avenues to walk in.  Liberty is knowing of the great spectrum of human experience and ALWAYS choosing a better path.  Most of the USA are admirable, kindly people, but are hijacked by a racketeering few whose tastes are very base, and who despise the true fountainhead of wealth.

Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind.

How do you like it now?  How does that agenda suit you now?  Just wait a little...

Without the fine and noble making keen resistance--the vines, thorns, briars, and vicious underbelly of man will be unleashed.

Should we literally disarm the populace?  Because violence begins with closed fists meeting unexpectant faces.  Surely we should outlaw fist-making.

No we need to revolutionize our society and go back to the old-school, hard-won principles of the ethical ancients.

Without it, wealth disappears, horrors reappear, and the world becomes a South African ghetto.

@ the thread

I am sick to death of this fucking American blame everyone else circle jerk attitude and this endless thread after thread of discussion on THE FUCKING OBVIOUS. It’s time for some truth even a 5yo child can graps.

Get this straight America, YOU'RE THE FUCKING CAUSE OF ALL YOUR ILLS. Stop running around pointing to all the woes and asking “where the fuck did all this come from”...and..."can I pet da Wabbits George", no fuckhead, you can't; coz you kill everything you touch!

This article fits the USA like a glove, but not everywhere else...when your main export is death and oppression, and has been since WWII, it's only a matter of time until that product starts getting sold to your own population, and eventually by force.

Did you not think that this Rooster (fucking Turkey) would come home to roost?

Where the fuck did you people think all those arms we're going…where all those chemicals were going? Into a giant hole in the fucking ground? No you stupid fucktards, they went around the world to be used OTHER people.

Did you not stop to think as to why it is that everything is so much cheaper in the States? Oh, because we’re so fucking special…No numb-nuts, it’s because you steal wealth through the dollar/oil position…no, you’re not fucking special, and when Petrol (it’s not called fucking GAS) hits $9 you’ll understand that.

Moral Bankruptcy has been staring every US citizen in the face for decades as exports boomed around the world (pardon the pun), but that ugly reality has been continuously brushed off with circle jerk patriotic bull shit like, "supporting your commander and chief", and, "patriotic duty", as though being a President automatically means righteousness. Add to that the apathetic attitude of swallowing whatever the MSM spoons down into the throat of the most obese nation on earth, so long as I can afford my SUV, Plasmas and Jet Ski then I really couldn't give a fuck what happens elsewhere...until it happens to YOU!

Yes, distract yourselves with toys and trinkets all you like, so long as you never, ever have to look at yourself in the mirror with honest, critical eyes (that's why that fuck-up ego-fest FaceBook is so popular). And let’s continue to be 100% honest shall we; THE ONLY reason America has been looking at itself of late is for one reason and one reason only, that the party is now over, the lights have been turned on, and that hottie you’ve been dry rooting and sucking face with for half the night is your best mate’s retarded sister. And for some of you, stop hidding behind God, he excuses 'invincible ignorance' only to a point because he gave you a brain for a fucking reason, and most have refused to use it.

So cry America, cry all you like. I say, shut the fuck up and take the medicine which you yourselves made and exported to every other nation on earth which did not conform to your way of life. I've been thinking about this next point a lot of late and I now feel, the sooner UN Agenda 21 tears America a new hole, then inside-out and into the land which closely resembles 'The Hunger Games' the better, because let's face it, America has been serving-up real life Freddy Krueger movies to much of the world for a very long time now, and what goes around, comes around.

The article's title. "Hey You", is very apt....HEY. YOU. not us, YOU!

And before you thumb down my post, just remember this, you know I’m right, and I know that. So run from that truth if you like, but the Frankenstates Monster you allowed to be created and nourished for decades is now coming to get you....and have the guts to argue a point with me if you do thumb me down; don't be a fucking coward (lots of that goes on here).

There ya go, nuff said.

Fuck, I feel heaps better now.

Being America's bitch didn't sit well with you or something?  let me fill you in on a little secret, or two.

1. The American GOVERNMENT is where your rant should be directed, not the people and to that it should be directed at the progressive, communist, liberal, marxist, socialist.. everything leftist. So I would caution that since the majority of Non-American "everywhere" pretty much fits in one of those descriptions of political ideology that you are, in fact, telling your self to shut the fuck up and deal with the fact that your ideologies are a complete and utter failure.  Ohh, that can't be a pleasant mental exercise for you.. it's ok, let me help you figure this one out. YOU ARE A FUCKING MORON.

2. The political "right" in America, while broken and striated has one common belief, that our rights are NOT given to us; We were born with them and we had them from the moment we took our first, liquid lung filled, breath. In other words.. leave me the fuck alone so I can prosper, and bring to the courts those who would do harm to that prosperity. We have not ignored the oppressive nature of the gov't, but we have been on the receiving end of torment and hatred as a result of our belief in unalienable rights. So forgive us if some of us hide behind God or some diety that we believe gave us life and inherently, our rights to it. Some of us understand this to be just as true even being athiest.

3. The progressive left is 100% responsible for the breakdown in the moral fabric of this country, from their economic policies to their social policies. Truth is now an ugly word. So a mighty "FUCK YOU" shout out to the lefty pricks who crafted this "new world".. you've done one hell of a picasso on the country.

Your inability to see the truth is due to your inability to separate politics from ethics. This is a common disease in America.

You have hidden behind politics from your exposure to morality...shameful, and utterly pathetic.

You can dodge the raindrops but you cannot dodge the Tsunami coming for you.

Run motherfucker, run.

Here is a passage I wrote on ZH two years ago. It holds true today, more than ever before.

My quote for this decade: "If ‘War is an extension of Politics by other means’ then, Politics is an extension of Economics by other means and further, Economics is an extension of Servitude by other means. We go to war today so we create servitude in others tomorrow. Politics, Economics, Warfare, Servitude; they’re all manifestations of the same fundamental flaw in the Human Psyche, that Control is a cure for Fear."

If you cannot stand back from what is happeneing in the real world, and critically see your, and everyone else's actions for what they truly are, then the evil thread which is rooted deep within the passage I wrote will forever be you destiny.

Short answer: I'm here, at ZH, wtf do you think I'm doing.. sitting on my fuckin ass whilst the 500lb gorilla pounds it into oblivion?   I set up my own "personal economic defense" if you will.. To expand upon that further, just what the fuck could any of us do? what did you do to try to stop it.. .. ohhh, that's right, you couldn't. Nor could anyone else in the same situation as the entirety of the American population; which is that were are all controlled by a small, select (elected, unbelievably) few.

YOU know what needs to be done, I KNOW what needs to be done.. I don't think even you are that naive.

While this goes in the right direction I'm thinking that it falls short of the real fundamental forces.

ALL WARS ARE ABOUT RESOURCES!

Because there are limited resources (why there are wars) there "must" be ways to control the distribution of said resources.  From acquisition by war (underneath there is a lot more war going on than we realize- I think John Perkins in his book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man takes about this), to doling it out (either through "Capitalism," "Socialism," whateverism), it's ALL controlled in one degree or another.  The control can be very invasive, or it can be fairly benign (like "Capitalism"), BUT, there IS control happening.  Those that don't think so ought to consider their notion of "property rights," what the "enforcement" of said "property rights" means/requires.

We're hiding our animal instincts in abstract layers here.  That is, up until it's no longer possible to couch it in "political" discourse (which is the "civilized" means whereby we conduct ourselves while there is a sense of plenty).  The tensions are building because resources are becoming scarcer.  Eventually all pretenses of "civility" will pass as all out war, or direct chaos/violence, reshuffles the distribution of resources.  The herd will be thinned- all this other talk is about deception as we shuffle in to position for scarcer resources...  it is, therefore, not an "American" thing; nor is it about Bernays (whom I detest), it's about human nature, about humans IN nature (and the real animal instincts that we're cloaking).

I agree. But along with all those inalienable rights which we are endowed with by virtue of our birth comes the greatest of all responsibilities, the heavy burden and responsibility to defend those rights at every crossroad of encroaching tyranny and treachery, with our blood and life if need be.

We (this includes me as well) seem to be falling a bit short in this department. Which helps explain the predicament we are presently in.

I think we all are. One point I would like to make, however, is that it's very difficult to do this when only a select and individual few are willing; and the individual will not be able to do this alone. We are well and truly fucked in this instance and it will take it being "too late" before that kind of cohesion is reached.

There is a double irony here. Yes, it is ironic that "if anything did go down" we should be on the same side however, the double irony is this, although we obviously want the same things in life, my approach to ensuring that the end result comes with 100% certainty, would compel me to take opposition. You cannot guide policy from the wrong side of the FEBA.

Once reality degrades to a certain point, I don't care how something is achieved so long as it is realised, period. If that calls for a partial scorched earth policy, so be it.

Hey Ugrev,

Thanks for setting that piece of American bashing (the old America I mean) piece of shit TwoShortPlanks straight.   You have it exactly right.  I think you are 100% right on every point.  ZH, while a real out of the box thinking great blog, has too many of those types trolling around here. They don't understand that morality or lack therof has a great role to play on our present prediciments.   They cynically think all politicians are the same.   I think they may be from the old nuclear freeze movement - i.e,, the soviets are just like us, since we have nukes, too, ad nauseum, etc.  They think there is no difference between Chuckie Shumer and Rand Paul or between Obama and Reagan.  What utter nonsense.   These people who can't tell these differences are part of who got us where we are.  That Banzai guy, while a great artists,  is of the same mind when he starts spewing words instead of art.

I think John Adams said it best when he said: "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

I think this "other" Adams refers to  include most of the political left in America today.  It is not moral to create a Great Society innefective dependency program that reeks havoc on the lives and souls of the poor.  It is not moral to have trillion dollar plus deficits for years on end while proposing no budgets and expecting our children to pay for it.  It is not moral to give the Nazi like Muslim Brotherhood new F16s and their friends and supporters in Turkey Patriot missle banks while trying to disarm American citizens and disrespecting American allies.   Yes, folks that is what the left in American is doing.  That and a million more similar things.

I stir the pot because I do not want the real monsters to emerge out of the chaos of a world gone wrong. I want people to see the truth, see the unsustainable reality around them, change themselves, and change their own small space around them, collectively, beforehand, so that the whole shifts in unison. If they do not, and the pendulum stays too far to one side, then people will emerge from out of obscurity, people who are capable of absolute critical thinking beyond morality and beyond ethical values, who will make the tough decisions and enforce the actions required to centre the pendulum, ruthlessly if required. People have no idea as to what some people are capable of...especially so if that which is needed becomes vital and absolute, whether the masses see it or not.

An example: One can argue that if there were one ruler, one owner of everything on the planet (Cesar owns all), where nothing is challenged, where rule is absolute and no war needs to be waged, then, it is entirely possible to envisage a situation where the goodness within the soul of that ruler comes to the surface. Remember, the accomplishments of Egypt were not achieved upon slavery alone. There were good rulers and bad, but on average? Well, we don't admire Egyptian history for nothing!

What I'm saying is this. If we do not change, on mass, then a NWO will emerge either peacefully or through violence. Judging by Smith & Wesson sales it will be the latter for America. If it is the latter, then people who see a greater good in the distant future will emerge and take whatever action is necessary.

IMO it will be accomplished by force, as the masses will always be fearful of fear itself, therefore, trust in goodness prevailing will never emerge. As such, my words and beliefs will be read with fearful eyes, and ridiculed as they succumb to, and act out, the very fears I attempt to point-out to them (oh the irony)…and so there will come a time where the monsters will have their day in the sun.

What people do not graps is that the Bernankes, the Obamas, the Dimons, and the Blankfeins of this world maybe here today, but they will not be here tomorrow. They will be chewed-up and spat out, because they may be apt for today's environment, they will be a fish out of water in tomorrows.

We have seen this reality throughout history. I believe that we will see it once again, in our lifetime, and that it is the only way forward.

you're positioning yourself as a type of "opposition" so you'll no doubt bear witness to an epic battle, I wish you luck (sincerely).

People have no idea as to what some people are capable of...

people are capable of anything, of everything, of things we cannot imagine, and should not even let enter into our imaginings.  our primal mind knows this, our bodies know this.

some will experience these horrors.  some will partake in them.  it's always been this, somewhere.

acknowledge this, but maybe not entertain it, give it space in your mind, making it larger than needs be.

we're in uncharted waters, as a nation, as a planet, call it what you will, "karma" or cause/effect, cycles - amrka had a good run with the myths, and now the curtain is pulled back to reveal a history of horrors that will take time to sink in, and for some it will be too much to reconcile. . . there will be a lot of folks just checkin' out, in one way or another.

one thing I'll add, you say "if we don't change en masse" - well, we won't, but you might.

- it's all in the mind. . .

I've grasped this quite well, and for a LONG time now.

The use of the word "reality," however, is kind of meaningless if not put in some sort of context.  I could very well argue that most everything that we see is NOT reality; however, because it is how people operate (today) it is, to most, reality.  To me, reality means the fundamental driving forces, the natural norm.

Nothing in term of magnitude what we face today. When I heard of the deaths of those innocent children my heart broke but the worse fact was I WAS NOT SURPRISED. In fact, sometimes I wish I never had children. I love them dearly but I don't want them to go through what's on the horizon. My fear is I cannot help them though I will go to my death, if necessary, trying. The few that fought for independence did not ask to have such a task but they rose to the occasion. BREAKING NEWS: CT School Shooter Killer Link To LIBOR SCANDAL? The father of Newtown Connecticut school shooter Adam Lanza is Peter Lanza who is a VP and Tax Director at GE Financial. The father of Aurora Colorado movie theater shooter James Holmes is Robert Holmes, the lead scientist for the credit score company FICO. Both men were to testify before the US Sentate in the ongoing LIBOR scandal. The London Interbank Offered Rate, known as Libor, is the average interest rate at which banks can borrow from each other. 16 international banks have been implicated in this ongoing scandal, accused of rigging contracts worth trillions of dollars. HSBC has already been fined $1.9 billion and three of their low level traders arrested.

Libor scandal grows as the fathers of two mass murderers were to testify

In the wake of the mass murders that took place in Newtown, Connecticut on Dec. 14, information on the shooter, and his family, is slowly being discovered by law enforcement other sources. One interesting connection to the tragedy that took place at the Sandy Hook school is that the father of Adam Lanza has a connection to the theater shootings that took place in Aurora earlier this year by James Holmes.
Both fathers of the shooters were allegedly expected to testify in the Libor scandal that rocked the banking world in June.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a motive and a link. This coincidence is impossible to overlook. Two mass shootings connected to LIBOR. - Fabain4Liberty via Before it's News

Libor is the internal banking interest rate that major financial institutions determine each day for lending purposes between each facility. This rate is then translated to the interest rates used for mortgages, student loans, credit cards, and nearly every interest bearing loan in the world. Manipulation of the Libor rate has resulted in hundreds of billions, if not trillions of dollars in fraudulent payments made by billions of customers throughout the financial world.

For similar events on the magnitude of both Aurora and Newtown to hold a connection to one of the greatest financial scandals in the history of finance is astronomically slim in regards to coincidence. In fact, neither shooter had a history with firearm proficiency, and the outcome of each shooting showed an expertise many trained military personnel could not achieve. This leaves the question of where they got their training, or if there was another plot involved which allowed these young men to perform the actions they did with such precision.

While the coming days will bring forth more pertinent information on the motives, access, and failures of both community and family to diagnose the events leading up to Adam Lanza's killing spree, one thing is becoming disturbingly clear. The connections between the Aurora massacre, and the one that took place in Newtown on Friday, may have far more ramifications to the people involved in the Libor scandal than anyone could imagine.

For more on finance and economics, you can follow Ken Schortgen Jr on Twitter, and listen to the weekly economic roundup segment of the Angel Clark radio show from 6-7 p.m. EST on Friday evenings.

Iran-Contra Hearings – REX 84 Question – Brooks, Oliver North & Inouye

Senator Daniel K. Inouye in 1987 Chaired the Senate Select Committee on Secret Military Assistance to Iran and the Nicaraguan Opposition, which held public hearings on the Iran-Contra affair.

Senator Inouye, summarizes here the coverup of the US Shadowy Government involvement; by saying:

“There exists a shadowy Government with its own Air Force, its own Navy, its own fundraising mechanism (Afgan opium poppy crops?), and the ability to pursue its own ideas of the national interest, free from all checks and balances, and free from the law itself.”

For more context and perspective, please check the PBS documentary by Bill Moyers “The Secret Government: The Constitution in Crises”, which was broadcast in 1987; the full documentary could be watched on Google Video.

I did the same thing this spring and was surprised how much of a difference it made in my life.  I did it after watching Adam Curtis's documentary on Edward Bernays in the "Century of Self" and reading Chris Hedges' "Empire of Illusion."  Today I despise TV and silently look at friends who watch TV regularly with a bit of disgust.  I went through a period of studying NLP, covert hypnosis, and psyops and started realizing just how powerful of a brainwashing tool TV is.

What I find strange now is that anytime I go to a restaurant or bar where there is a TV and I'm it's in the direct line of site, I find my eyes glued to it and have a hard time concentrating on conversations taking place.  The constant flickering and changing of light and the images of sex, money and status make it hard not to go into a trance.

I've noticed some of the same affects with mainstream pop music.  The repetitive beat, simple melodies, promises of sex, money and status...same thing.  I've been slowy switching over to classical music and have also noticed a profound shift.

classical is cool, but you should be careful, cuz some of it manipulates certain parts of your brain that you may not desire.   for example, Bach gives me the willies.   everyone's resonant vibrations are different tho, so YMMV.

13 years next week since I totally got away from TV - haven't had one since 1999.

My kids were 6 and 5 at the time and we used our time to go out into the countryside or do arts and crafts. I've no idea how many hours I spent reading them stories and answering their questions. They didn't even miss it until they went to school where all the other kids were talking about TV shows, but they has no problem with that - they'd say they had more fun riding thier bikes along the local trails or fishing.

People sometimes react strangely when I say I don't have a TV.

My response, usually, is to tell them that I don't invite manipulative liars into my home, so why would I have a TV?

And why the hell would I pay someone to try to manipulate me?

TV is just chewing gum for the mind.

Yes, I grew up in a working class family and watched "dad", (step-dad, actually); get hypnotized by "gunsmoke", etc.I had a really lucky break through competitive rifle shooting I met the family of Harold Ickes jr. who lived in a beautiful old house in the Berkely foothills; when I commented on their lack of a TV; Mr. Ickes told me TV is only for the un-thinking masses. I was so impressed with these people that I never had one in my entire life. It causes problems in casual communication; because people refer to TV shows or characters, sadly enough, as if they were examples of some kind of real situation, and I have no idea what they're talking about. I spent all my time reading books; all my life; all my recreational time; and now I have a pretty clear picture of who we are as a culture and how we got here, and where we are as a country; but there's no one to talk to. The basic rule  now is "no one knows nothin". This turns out to be true well over 95% of the time. A professor of economics at the U of Chicago cancelled his subscription to the "economist"; because they keep mentioning "bubbles"; and in his world bubbles don't exist. I wish I was making this up; but I'm not. The economists who imagine that they are scientists are actually alchemists. And then there are the computer programmers who imagine that they are scientists. But at least its not a conspiracy; they;re just people doing what people do best; joining up with a cult and ignoring reality completely.

I have a tv on in any room I am in 24hrs a day.

But let me explain.  The pre-announcement and subsequent collapse of WTC 7 (I watched this live that day with jaw on floor) was a HUGE vindication of my own observations of media vs. truth, and its useful for me especially now to watch the glitches in the Matrix as they are revealed on the TV.  TV is the negagative against the positive in a number of ways and I am also a very big proponent of the artistic side of story telling thru movies and I have a slight addiction to my cable provider's on demand feature.

I do get valuable information from TV: helps me understand the people around me better who do not bother to educate or enlighten themselves.

After about two or three hours, I asked her, "Mom, is there another Fox News channel"? Because it sure didn't seem very 'conservative' to me. In fact, about the only difference between Fox and the other MSM outlets seemed to be that they didn't end every story with "And we should kill all the white people to fix this problem."

If that is true....and I have no idea if it is....I can't understand why she would teach him to use those weapons and keep them in his vicinity. She (allegedly) feared an economic collapse, which I suppose would lead to a collapse in the social fabric.....all the while her son was a manifestation of that and she gave him the tools he needed. And besides how do we know she didn't already have the house on 20 acres in Montana? Paid for in cash? With 5 years of MREs in a 2,000 sq ft underground den, a vault with enough gold bullion to buy Greece, the underground tank with 60,000 gallons of diesel, 3 generators, hydroponics and greenhouses, and a 20 foot tall 20 foot deep electric fence?

Maybe she was just packing up to bug out when her kid popped her in the head.

Makes as much sense as anything else you could propose.
