"As Part Of Our Ongoing Effort To Protect Bank Of America, Zero Hedge Is Blocked"

Tyler Durden's picture

We couldn't have said it better: "Bank of America blocks users from accessing websites that present certain risks to the bank."

Let's see, maybe this will get Zero Hedge unblocked: "Just buy BAC stock. Others are doing it, so you must do it too. And if you buy in the next 5 minutes, you will get one free share for every share purchased!"

... Well, maybe not.

Does this also mean we are not in contention for the Andrew Ross Sorkin Wall Street-sponsored website of the year award either?... Perhaps we should shelve those Pulitzer dreams too.

Oh well. At least the National Financial Enquirer and other various financial tabloids are still fully accessible at the bank that is best known for the worst M&A transaction of all time - Countrywide Financial. And that whole double bailout thing of course, first of Merrill, and then of Bank of America proper.

Kickin' ass, takin' names.

All BAC employees, please return to your alpha advsiors for counseling.

corporate filters are blocking an increasing number of alt news and blog sites...

Michaelwiseguy's picture

Great, I love being blocked from those criminal banksters. Their employees don't deserve to have the most accurate up to date worldwide economic, financial, and geo-political information delivered free of charge from Zero Hedge. Fuck Em.

Manthong's picture

The keyboard is mightier than the sword.

knukles's picture

Just watch the ZH hit rate rise after BAC hours....

Soviets, Chinese, Nazis, etc., have censorship. Why for the God sake should America be any different since our masters/owners share and cherish the same ideals?

CClarity's picture

What a tribute to ZH!  High praise.  Those employees will just get their personal mobile devices revved up as it is now more important than ever that they read ZH, and they know it!!!

fonestar's picture

You're going to need a damn good web filter when the citizens of the republic hunt you down Moynihan!!

BAC employees. Censorship is good. Censorship is good. Now get back to work.

PURE FEAR.

Plain & Simple.

The 'dark side' fears the truth.

I control my clients browsing access. ZH is on the 'Whitelist'!

Muhwahahaha...

Word has it that Harry Reid read ZeroHedge and bought S&P puts last night which explains why he was ranting and raving trying to push the market lower.

Manthong's picture

No doubt that executive, media relations and risk management all keep access..

They need to know what is really happening in the world.

ShankyS's picture

Awesome TD! I guess the truth hurts and in this age those that can't take it simply eliminate it. LOL OBTW I would assume this will tick off Anonymous to a degree. Good luck BAC! You fucked with the wrong crowd.

I wonder if we non luciferian elite will ever be free. They certainly have control of many things.  ZH is a start but will it be enough? Here's some interesting murals to look at staight from Bank of America's headquaters:

Enjoy!

PS. Guys, watch out! I bet they are going to start targeting us more intensely in the near future.

I don't know why artists don't paint images of our elite ruling owners burning in hell?

They couldn't make better advertisement for ZH than that. Glad to see ZH gaining more popularity.

The block by BAC is most likely due to the new type of cookies that ZeroHedge began installing in our computers in Oct.  Most "blogs" - especially those with the ability to chat and/or track searches - are blocked by WBSN, one of the leading web security companies. Clearly, BAC has a policy to block employees from viewing blogs, social media, etc. during work hours.  I'm sure BAC blocks FB, too.

Much ado about nothing, methinks.

I'm with you Max. Sometimes I think I should block myself from ZH too. Like keeping that bag of Lindt truffles on your desk all the time...a little too tempting and distracting is the truth.

But then again I just can't get enough of ZH & Lindt balls. Yum yum.

mayhem_korner's picture

OA...had to zoom in a bit to understand what your avatar pic was.  And now I need a Lindt ball myself to erase the bile taste from my mouth...

I wonder whether Anonymous can infiltrate BAC and redirect all web browsers to Metlife?  I'm kind of thinking that this would really open up a can of media worms...

In a way, ZH being banned by BofA is a good thing as it shows that the search for knowledge and the desire to educate oneself about the real issues of our age is still being viewed as potentially dangerous by some...

KIEV, Ukraine -- Ukrainian health officials say 37 people have died from the severe cold spell that hit the country this month.

Temperatures have dropped as low as minus-17 C (2 F).

The Health Ministry said Tuesday that 190 people have sought medical help for hypothermia, of which 162 people have been hospitalized.

Time to ban cold as 1) it may be harmful to our website and employees

2) Cold kills people.

Now get on it, Senator DiFi.

Michaelwiseguy's picture

Please die Senator DiFi like Senator Inouye.

MWG: "Temperatures have dropped as low as minus-17 C (2 F)."

That's not bad, really. The Canadian prairies often go below -40F.  It gets so cold sometimes that urine freezes before it hits the ground, and you can't start a car without a block heater.  Needless to say, you don't find hybrid vehicles at any of the dealerships, and it does wonders for extinguishing any lingering effects of Global Warmist brainwashing.  It's also handy for motivating your girlfriend to snuggle.

Seer's picture

How would anyone who lives in such an environment even have a functional brain?

You DO know that alcohol acts as an antifreeze, don't you?

You believe anything Huffington Post or the TV news media or newspapers say?  A sucker born every minute.

RT is okay but the rest of the media is joke.

FreedomGuy's picture

It kind of makes me proud of this website and being a part of it. Being banned by BAC? Priceless! Let's do Citibank, JP Morngan and Goldman Sachs!!!

darkpool2's picture

Only the morons ( oh sorry, we are discussing BoA employees..... I almost forgot) use the corporate networks for web-browsing( alert....didnt you know they were all monitoered????) ......crank up the 4g devices and open wifi networks.

Seer's picture

Yeah, kind of takes the drama out of all of this, doesn't it?

But, it IS interesting that they'd bother to block, as this seems to have the opposite affect.

Perhaps BAC will then start issuing minders so that even when their minions are not there they can be sure they're not undermining BAC's ability to undermine everyone.

Id bet a lot of people work 9-5 EST who cant check zerohedge at work
