The Section Preventing Indefinite Detention of Americans Without Trial Removed From Final NDAA Bill

While the Feinstein-Lee Amendment wasn’t perfect, it was a small step forward as I outlined in my piece: My Thoughts on the Feinstein-Lee Amendment to the NDAA. Amazingly, this small victory has been stripped out of the final bill by our “representatives.” If this doesn’t prove without a shadow of a doubt that this government is criminal and wants the power to lock up citizens without trial I don’t know what will. WASHINGTON — Congress stripped a provision Tuesday from a defense bill that aimed to shield Americans from the possibility of being imprisoned indefinitely without trial by the military. The provision was replaced with a passage that appears to give citizens little protection from indefinite detention.
The new provision appears to do little, because the Supreme Court has already declared that the writ of habeas corpus — requiring that someone be presented to a judge — applies to all people. The more difficult part of whether people deserve a trial remains unsettled, and the new provision does not appear to resolve it.

Why do they need the UN to enforce anything when we live in a Police State? Navy. Marines, and Coast Guard personnel are exempt form Posse Comitatus. Just be careful in developing a plan of how things will go down and expect the unexpected. That will go a long way in diminishing the element of surprise. I do think there will be lots of surprises.

WHEN the next assault weapons ban is proposed we need a gun friendly rep to attempt to add an amendment such as:
"In the spirit of equality and to show that all amercians are indeed equal before the law it shall hereby be illegal to hire or cause to be hired armed private security guards or armed private security contractors to protect people, events or personal property.
No person while employed as a security guard may carry a firearm or any lethal weapon.
In addition no law enforcement officer may be employed nor accept renumeration to guard specific persons or premises unless said duties fall within their general work day.
Finally to show the extent of the full faith and committment that members of congress have in gun control measures each member voting in support of this law agrees to the following conditions:
All firearms owned by a supporting member of congress shall be permanently and publicly reliquished to the department of justice upon passage.
All supporting members of congress shall publicly renounce their 2nd amendment rights to keep and bear arms while they remain in office.
All supporting members of congress shall not have protective services prodvided by any local,state or federal agency except while physically located in Washing DC and while congress is in session.
Any member who votes in support of this measure and who violates these conditions shall immediately forfeit their office, and shall be tried for treason."
I'd love to see something like the above added in and watch some people SQUIRM on television.....

Any household with someone who has been prescribed a drug for mental disease (depression--ADHD--Asperger's...) can not legally buy an assault weapon.

Look at the silver lining. This makes clear that one can not be assured of a trial if somebody busts down your door and demands that you submit. First off, they may be gang members posing as police/ federal agents. Secondly, they may be that subset of agents who have determined through our new "pre-crime" directive signed by Holder last March that you are a possible terrorist based on a computer print-out.
So you have even less reason not to exercise your Second Amendment inalienable right. Only the most cowardly will roll up into a ball for indefinite incarceration knowing the above information.

I've brought up the subject of NDAA to people on a number of occasions. Exactly none of them had any idea what I was talking about. When I explain what it means, they look at me like I'm completely nuts. I can only wish that I might have struck a chord somewhere, and that someone decided to do a little research on their own. I don't care if people think I'm a loon. They need to know what's going on.

Another aspect not to forget is the Federal Reserve has done it’s job of destroying this country and indebting it into an endless hole of woe-is-me. They may have hyped the 2012 thing to be a cover for the real crash of the Fed Res as planned. The charter was only to last one hundred years and then it is a done deal. Crash and profit as they leave the rest of the country to battle amongst themselves and then come back and take control later after the chaos has played out it’s course. Pretty simple evil. We also saw this article yesterday that is very concerning. Here is the story of an innocent girl and her family that was traumatized for nothing. These storm trooper crazies shot at and almost killed a teenage girl for no specific reason, other than they were serving a search warrant. They still have not said what it was for, and there appears to be no apparent reason for this horrible act of violence and tyranny. It looks more like a training operation for what is coming to EVERYONE’S’ DOOR SOON!

Reading into the article, we see an alarming and powerful statement made by one of the marauders that invaded and attacked this girl. 3) Go out for early bird on Friday night and then get your ass home.
4) If you are worried about your kids getting shot or flat out lied to at public schools, home school them. My brother just put three home schooled through University on full scholarships. They wouldn't have gotten as good an education outside of the home.
5)If you have to hide PMs and Guns be careful some body in your nieghborhood doesn't find out and come cap your ass and steal your stuff. I knew people we buried because they ran their mouths and showed off their pretty metal. A lot of good it's doing them now when they were put six feet under BECAUSE they owned PMs and guns.
6) Try and be thankful for what you do have, keep your head down and mouth shut and maybe the drones will leave you alone. "These are not the 'droits you are looking for; move along." It works.

First off, we should recognize that Feinstein made an attempt at this. And credit due to her for the attempt.
However, IF she can find time from the mad dog assault she is about to engage in, with the blessings of President Obama, to destroy citizen rights to gun ownership---- hopefully she can revisit this issue again with the same intensity and success she has shown with gun control over many years.
