Interesting, however if you read the whole report you'll find that they are only saying that after 200yrs they can't find the original document cited as the source in the fed record 95 yrs ago, and that documents do exist in which he said similar things. In other words, he offered his time and effort for LESS reward than others did. He made up for the lack of gross margin by improving his inventory and distribution systems - i.e. using his brain. I have no complaint with the Sam Waltons of the world; they earned their money, and they earned the right to do with it as they please - give it to family, give it to charity, buy islands.
It's the Lloyds and Jamies of the world I have a problem with.
