Is This What The New "Swiss Bank Account" Looks Like?

Tyler Durden's picture

There was a time when everyone (who was anyone) wanted a Swiss bank account, as much as an offshore cash parking vehicle as for its hushed prestige, whispered to a select few during Hamptons' cocktail parties. Those days are now gone, with the last remaining anonymous offshore private banking bastion left being Singapore, if even that. So in a world in which country after country is scrambling to hike income (and soon financial wealth and asset) taxes on the superrich, is this, paradoxically, what the new "Swiss bank account" is going to look like? And with the Obelix case study officially in the books, who will be the next to take advantage of the former KGB spy's taxation generosity?

The US "saved" Russian economy after destroying it, by feeding millions to the now oligarchs, so that they could buy it's natural resources for peanuts. And btw, they have foreign passports for that same reason - they've scammed the whole nation on behalf of foreign interests. Symptomatically, they're almost all jews...

I'm regularly in Russia for work. Nice people (talking about the average man in the street) and beautiful women, but I wouldn't trust them (i.e. anyone wearing a uniform or some form of government job) for as far as I could throw them.

When compared to Singapore and Switzerland, Russia is definitely in a different league for as far as corruption, reliability, credibility and stability are concerned.

Perhaps time will tell (regime change) but I wouldn't hold my breath...

It's not just the Russian passport that's special. The 15% tax rate is nice, but combined with all the other factors regarding Russia it's nothing special. On the other hand, any US citizen holding another valid passport has a way out when TSHTF, which is soon approaching, IMHO.

Any passport that's a  ticket out of Armagedon is a ticket to paradise.

You see, with a Swiss account, you can make withdrawls.

I'm intrigued by the logo: The two-headed eagle on a shield with a red background. Why does that look familiar?

Oh, and I believe that the 2-headed eagle is also synonymous with the mythical Phoenix... the lofty (above the crowd) creature that rises anew at the end of one life cycle, only to start another one. Fascinating.

It is the symbol of Russia as the Third Rome, successor state of the Byzantine Empire, with an Orthodox ruler at its helm, made "official" through the marriage of Ivan the 3rd to Sophia of Byzantine Empire, niece of the last emperor of the Byzantine Empire.

It's the official symbol of the new Fukushima Wildlife Preserve.

FYI...  I just learned that my absolutely favorite YouTube News program on the Financial News -- RT CAPITAL ACCOUNT with (smart & irresistible) LAUREN LYSTER has just aired its last program on Jan. 4, 2013.  Out of the blue.  No reason or explanation for why it is ending, but clearly 'someone' in RT pulled the plug -- or was 'persuaded' to.  Bass-turds!

What am I to do for real analysis of financial, economic and market events?   I just can't go back to Bloo'berg or CNBC after Capital Account!  What a disaster!

Did one of the Tylers (smart, good looking guy in Miami who Lauren liked to flirt with) propose to her, as one of the ZH comments some days ago foreshadowed?  If so, you lucky ba$tard, you "owe" us for stealing Lauren!

To RT Mgmt:  Can we 'talk', brainstorm, negotiate?  Or has the Fed and TPTB had 'enough' of this inconvenient program?  Else I'm boycotting your "little waters" (vodka).

Now, where's that special Bordeaux/Claret, I've been saving?  Ah, here it is... gulp, gulp.

Hey Tyler (spoken with slurred speech), how about YOU starting a YouTube channel -- with a Lauren-clone?

Singapore? Come on... it's now stricter than Switzerland (which was by far the strictest in the world).
