A Message To The 'Left' From A 'Right Wing Extremist'

Some discoveries are exciting, joyful, and exhilarating, while others can be quite painful.  Stumbling upon the fact that you do not necessarily have a competent grasp of reality, that you have in fact been duped for most of your life, is not a pleasant experience.  While it may be a living nightmare to realize that part of one’s life was, perhaps, wasted on the false ideas of others, enlightenment often requires that the worldview that we were indoctrinated with be completely destroyed before we can finally resurrect a tangible identity and belief system.  To have rebirth, something must first die...

In 2004, I found myself at such a crossroads.  At that time I was a dedicated Democrat, and I thought I had it all figured out.  The Republican Party was to me a perfect sort of monster.  They had everything!  Corporate puppet masters.  Warmongering zealots.  Fake Christians.  Orwellian social policies.  The Bush years were a special kind of horror.  It was cinematic.  Shakespearean.  If I was to tell a story of absolute villainy, I would merely describe the mass insanity and bloodlust days of doom and dread wrought by the Neo-Con ilk in the early years of the new millennium.

But, of course, I was partly naïve...

The campaign rhetoric of John Kerry was eye opening.  I waited, day after day, month after month for my party’s candidate to take a hard stance on the illegal wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.  I waited for a battle cry against the Patriot Act and the unconstitutional intrusions of the Executive Branch into the lives of innocent citizens.  I waited for a clear vision, a spark of wisdom and common sense.  I waited for the whole of the election for that man to finally embrace the feelings of his supporters and say, with absolute resolve, that the broken nation we now lived in would be returned to its original foundations.  That civil liberty, freedom, and peace, would be our standard once again.  Unfortunately, the words never came, and I realized, he had no opposition to the Bush plan.  He was not going to fight against the wars, the revolving door, or the trampling of our freedoms.  Indeed, it seemed as though he had no intention of winning at all.

I came to see a dark side to the Democratic Party that had always been there but which I had refused to acknowledge.  Their leadership was no different than the Neo-Cons that I despised.  On top of this, many supporters of the Democratic establishment had no values, and no principles.  Their only desire was to “win” at any cost.  They would get their "perfect society" at any cost, even if they had to chain us all together to do it.

There was no doubt in my mind that if the Democrats reoccupied the White House or any other political power structure one day, they would immediately adopt the same exact policies and attitudes of the Neo-Conservatives, and become just as power-mad if not more so.  In 2008 my theory was proven unequivocally correct.

It really is amazing.  I have seen the so-called “anti-war” party become the most accommodating cheerleader of laser guided death and domination in the Middle East, with predator drones operating in the sovereign skies of multiple countries raining missiles upon far more civilians than “enemy combatants”, all at the behest of Barack Obama.  I have seen the “party of civil liberties” expand on every Constitution crushing policy of the Bush Administration, while levying some of the most draconian legislation ever witnessed in the history of this country.  I have seen Obama endorse enemy combatant status for American citizens, and the end of due process under the law through the NDAA.  I have seen him endorse the end of trial by jury.  I have seen him endorse secret assassination lists, and the federally drafted murder of U.S. civilians.  I have seen him endorse executive orders which open the path to the declaration of a “national emergency” at any time for any reason allowing for the dissolution of most constitutional rights and the unleashing of martial law.

If I was still a Democrat today I would be sickly ashamed.  Yet, many average Democrats actually defend this behavior from their party.  The same behavior they once railed against under Bush.

However, I have not come here to admonish Democrats (at least not most of them).  I used to be just like them.  I used to believe in the game.  I believed that the rules mattered, and that it was possible to change things by those rules with patience and effort.  I believed in non-violent resistance, protest, civil dissent, educational activism, etc.  I thought that the courts were an avenue for political justice.  I believed that the only element required to end corruption would be a sound argument and solid logic backed by an emotional appeal to reason.  I believed in the power of elections, and had faith in the idea that all we needed was the “right candidate” to lead us to the promise land.  Again, I believed in the game.

The problem is, the way the world works and the way we WISH the world worked are not always congruent.  Attempting to renovate a criminal system while acting within the rigged confines of that system is futile, not to mention delusional.  Corrupt oligarchies adhere to the standards of civility only as long as they feel the need to maintain the illusion of the moral high ground.  Once they have enough control, the mask always comes off, the rotten core is revealed, and immediate violence against dissent commences.

Sometimes the only solutions left in the face of tyranny are not peaceful.  Logic, reason, and justice are not revered in a legal system which serves the will of the power elite instead of the common man.  The most beautiful of arguments are but meaningless flitters of hot air in the ears of sociopaths.  Sometimes, the bully just needs to be punched in the teeth.

This philosophy of independent action is consistently demonized, regardless of how practical it really is when faced with the facts.  The usual responses to the concept of full defiance are accusations of extremism and malicious intent.  Believe me, when I embarked on the path towards the truth in 2004, I never thought I would one day be called a potential “homegrown terrorist”, but that is essentially where we are in America in 2013.  To step outside the mainstream and question the validity of the game is akin to terrorism in the eyes of the state and the sad cowardly people who feed the machine.

During the rise of any despotic governmental structure, there is always a section of the population that is given special treatment, and made to feel as though they are “on the winning team”.  For now, it would appear that the “Left” side of the political spectrum has been chosen by the establishment as the favored sons and daughters of the restructured centralized U.S.  However, before those of you on the Left get too comfortable in your new position as the hand of globalization, I would like to appeal to you for a moment of unbiased consideration.  I know from personal experience that there are Democrats out there who are actually far more like we constitutionalists and “right wing extremists” than they may realize.  I ask that you take the following points into account, regardless of what the system decides to label us...

We Are Being Divided By False Party Paradigms

Many Democrats and Republicans are not stupid, and want above all else to see the tenets of freedom respected and protected.  Unfortunately, they also tend to believe that only their particular political party is the true defender of liberty.  The bottom line is, at the top of each party there is very little if any discernible difference between the two.   If you ignore all the rhetoric and only look at action, the Republican and Democratic leadership are essentially the same animal working for the same special interests.  There is no left and right; only those who wish to be free, and those who wish to control.

Last year, the “Left and the “Right” experienced an incredible moment of unity after the introduction of the NDAA.  People on both sides were able to see the terrifying implications of a law that allows the government to treat any American civilian as an enemy of war without right to trial.  In 2013, the establishment is attempting to divide us once again with the issue of gun disarmament.  I have already presented my position on gun rights in numerous other articles and I believe my stance is unshakeable.  But, what I will ask anti-gun proponents and on-the-fence Democrats is this:  How do you think legislation like the NDAA will be enforced in the future?  Is it not far easier to threaten Americans with rendition, torture, and assassination when they are completely unarmed?  If you oppose the NDAA, you should also oppose any measure which gives teeth to the NDAA, including the debasement of the 2nd Amendment.

Democrats Are Looking For Help In The Wrong Place

Strangely, Democrats very often search for redress within the very system they know is criminal.  For some reason, they think that if they bash their heads into the wall long enough, a door will suddenly appear.  I’m here to tell you, there is no door.

The biggest difference between progressives and conservatives is that progressives consistently look to government to solve all the troubles of the world, when government is usually the CAUSE of all the troubles in the world.  The most common Democratic argument is that in America the government “is what we make it”, and we can change it anytime we like through the election process.  Maybe this was true at one time, but not anymore.  Just look at Barack Obama!  I would ask all those on the Left to take an honest look at the policies of Obama compared to the policies of most Neo-Cons, especially when it comes to constitutional liberties.  Where is the end to Middle Eastern war?  Where is the end to domestic spy programs?  Where is the end to incessant and dictatorial executive orders?  Where is the conflict between the Neo-Cons and the Neo-Liberals?  And, before you point at the gun control debate, I suggest you look at Obama’s gun policies compared to Mitt Romney’s and John McCain’s – there is almost no difference whatsoever…

If the two party system becomes a one party system, then elections are meaningless, and electing a new set of corrupt politicians will not help us.

Democrats Value Social Units When They Should Value Individuals Instead

Democrats tend to see everything in terms of groups.  Victim status groups, religious groups, racial groups, special interest groups, etc.  They want to focus on the health of the whole world as if it is a single entity.  It is not.  Without individuals, there is no such thing as “groups”, and what we might categorize as groups change and disperse without notice.  Groups do not exist beyond shared values, and even then, the individual is still more important in the grand scheme of things.

As a former Democrat, I know that the obsession with group status makes it easy to fall into the trap of collectivism.  It is easy to think that what is best for you must be best for everybody.  This Utopian idealism is incredibly fallible.  Wanting the best for everyone is a noble sentiment, but using government as a weapon to force your particular vision of the “greater good” on others leads to nothing but disaster.  The only safe and reasonable course is to allow individuals to choose for themselves how they will function in society IF they choose to participate at all.  Government must be left out of the equation as much as possible.  Its primary job should be to safeguard the individual’s right to choose how he will live.  You have to get over the fact that there is no such thing as a perfect social order, and even if there was, no government is capable of making it happen for you.

Democrats Can Become As Power-Mad As Any Neo-Con

I think it is important to point out how quickly most Democratic values went out the door as soon as Barack Obama was placed in the White House.  Let’s be clear; you cannot claim to be anti-war, anti-torture, anti-assassination, anti-surveillance, anti-corporate, anti-bank, anti-rendition, etc. while defending the policies of Obama at the same time.  This is hypocrisy.

I have heard some insane arguments from left leaning proponents lately.  Some admit that Obama does indeed murder and torture, but “at least he is pushing for universal health care…”.  Even if it did work (which it won’t), is Obamacare really worth having a president who is willing to murder children on the other side of the world and black-bag citizens here at home?  Do not forget your moral compass just because you think the system is now your personal playground.  If you do, you are no better than all the angry bloodcrazed Republicans that bumbled into the Iraq War while blindly following George W. Bush.

There Is A Difference Between Traditional Conservatives And Neo-Cons

Neo-Cons are not conservative.  They are in fact socialist in their methods, and they always expand government spending and power while reducing constitutional protections.  The “Liberty Movement”, of which I am proudly a part, is traditional conservative.  We believe that government, especially as corrupt as it is today, cannot be trusted to administrate and nursemaid over every individual in our nation.  It has proven time after time that it caters only to criminally inclined circles of elites.  Therefore, we seek to reduce the size and influence of government so that we can minimize the damage that it is doing.  For this, we are called “extremists”.

Governments are not omnipotent.  They are not above criticism, or even punishment.  They are merely a collection of individuals who act either with honor or dishonor.  In the Liberty Movement, we treat a corrupt government just as we would treat a corrupt individual.  We do not worship the image of the state, nor should any Democrat.

Liberty Minded Conservatives Are Not “Terrorists”

There will come a time, very soon I believe, when people like me are officially labeled “terrorists”.  Perhaps because we refuse gun registration or confiscation.  Perhaps because we develop alternative trade markets outside the system.  Maybe because some of us are targeted by federal raids, and we fight back instead of submitting.  Maybe because we speak out against the establishment during a time of “declared crisis”, and speech critical of the government is labeled “harmful to the public good”.  One way or another, whether you want to believe me now or not, the day is coming.

Before this occurs, and the mainstream media attacks us viciously as “conspiracy theorists” and traitors, I want the Left to understand that no matter what you may hear about us, our only purpose is to ensure that our natural rights are not violated, our country is not decimated, and our republic is governed with full transparency.  We are not the dumb redneck racist hillbilly gun nuts you see in every primetime TV show, and anyone who acts out of personal bias and disdain for their fellow man is not someone we seek to associate with.  We fight because we have no other choice.  Our conscience demands that we oppose centralized tyranny.  We do what we do because the only other option is subservience and slavery.

Many of the people I have dealt with in the Liberty Movement are the most intelligent, well-informed, principled and dedicated men and women I have ever met.  They want, basically, what most of us want:

  • to be free to determine their own destinies.
  • To be free to speak their minds without threat of state retribution.
  • To be free to defend themselves from any enemy that would seek to oppress them.
  • To live within an economic environment that is not rigged in favor of elitist minorities and on the verge of engineered collapse.
  • To live in a system that respects justice and legitimate law instead of using the law as a sword against the public.
  • To wake up each day with solace in the knowledge that while life in many regards will always be a difficult thing, we still have the means to make it better for ourselves and for the next generation.
  • To wake up knowing that those inner elements of the human heart which make us most unique and most endearing are no longer considered “aberrant”, and are no longer under threat.

cherry picker: yes, something is wrong. Everyone's busy with Iphones, tv, sports, vacations or finding a job or holding 6 part time jobs and worrying about how to pay for the car they bought 3 months ago and can't pay for... etc. to do anything about the national problems.

Roughly 1/3 of working age Americans can't find a job or can't find a job that will support their families. About one soldier per day in Aghanistan commits suicide. The Consitution's not being followed by our government. We no longer are a nation of laws. There seems to BE no law. Our country is undermined by millions of haters inside and outside its borders, infrastructure will cost trillions to fix and keep fixed, meanwhile tax receipts are  still falling off and with the rise in taxes probably will fall off more and perhaps cease altogether, and those only are a few obvious problems.

Why is it that no one put up a solid attempt to impeach Obama on Constitutional grounds as he did not comply with his oath.

Because we're cowards. We're complacent. We lack certainty and competence. We can't come together on an issue. (Yup, that's me.) I admit it. Will you?

It requires an act of a combined Congress that is divided with probably most of them are on take with a handful of exceptions like people like Rand Paul, Mike Lee and Bernie Sanders to name three. At this point I think the members in Congress that actually believe in smaller government can be counted on 2 hands these days.

Unless shit goes totally downhill before then we have one last chance come the congressional elections in 2014. I personally believe status quo is going to be shaken up big time by then anyways since I truely believe monetary problems are going to come home to roost in a major way that unsettles the general populace before then.

With Harry Reid as Senate Majority Leader, there never will be 67 Senators to convict, so its pointless - might be worthwhile just to get it on the record, but the only power we have over Obama is that his power ends for good on January 20th, 2017.  People do forget that our system of government is actually an elective monarchy - which is a perfectly fine way to govern on a philosophical sense, but becomes a disaster when the legistlative branch isn't determined to jealously maintain its rights vis a vis the monarch.  Right now, the Senate is a rubber stamp for Obama which means, in effect, there is no legistlative branch of government except in form.

Don't speak so soon. Will they prove he or his people took a bribe is still up for debate.

"..Embattled St. George businessman Jeremy Johnson says new Utah Attorney General John Swallow helped broker a deal in 2010 in which Johnson believed he was to pay Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid $600,000 to make a federal investigation into Johnson’s company go away..."

Well, God help me, but I'm a Republican - and I will stick with that, at least for now.  Not because the Republican party is all that good, but because it is the only national party I have a chance at influencing...and, indeed, the party I think which can be captured by the people.  Though it is a long, hard slog - just getting some of my fellow Republicans to understand that Big Corporation is as baleful as Big Government is a mighty task.  But some do understand - and I think more and more, all the time.

There is a growing realization among conservative and libertarian Republicans that the GOP establishment - based, like the Democrat establishment, in DC and New York City - doesn't like us.  They do very much want our votes, our donations and our volunteers but once the election is over, they'd like us to please shut up.  And no more primary challengers against old, establishment hacks (we really ticked them off when we scratched Lugar from office...and not a one of us really minds that we went on to lose that Senate seat in November...better to have a fully identified establishment hack to run against in later years than to carry one around allegedly on our side).  We know we're despised and we kind of like it - and now we're just brimming over with ideas on how to get rid of even more hacks in the future...while winning in 2014 and 2016 is in mind, the general sense is that this is a 20 year process and it doesn't matter who wins unless someone wins who knows how revolutionary we have to be once we do win.

In people like Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Bobby Jindal, we do have a set of rising leaders who do understand liberty and the real foundations of America - who understand, first off, that America isn't about a house in the suburbs and two is about the right of the people to live their lives as they see fit.  A house and a car is nice, but I'll lose them and be free, if that is what it takes, thanks very much.  I'm actually pretty encouraged - though I know plenty of libertarians and conservatives who are down at the mouth right now.  To nutshell it, a lot of people on the libertarian/conservative side figure that with Obama re-elected, America is doomed.  I take a larger view:  America wasn't doomed when Obama was re-elected, but when FDR was re-elected.  Heck, when Hoover was elected...when we left off that last, glorious chance to restore America in the Harding/Coolidge era.  Essentially, everthing done in the last 80 years has to be re-worked, so what matters ObamaCare?  Just one more piece of poop for the pile.

But I am additionally encouraged because I do see over on the left side of the aisle the dawning realization clearly stated in this post:  people on the left, at least some of them, are waking up to the terrible fact that Big Government isn't all that its cracked up to be.  To be sure, I'm highly suspicious of the left, on the whole:  as a Catholic, I can't be otherwise...leftism, as such, is founded on a mistaken idea about human nature (boiled down:  that human nature is all about nurture and all we have to do to create paradise is restructure human living until it is "correct").  The first inkling I had of this was the "Broke Party" in Chicago this past year - people living under the liberal thumb and starting to realize it was all just a corrupt money-go-round where those in power ensured that they were well taken care of, everyone else can go jump in a lake.  It appears to me that an argument for liberty might find fertile ground in a lot of places which haven't shown much love of liberty these past decades.

Of course, the hard part it to cobble this all together - it is marriage of the TEA Party and Occupy Wall Street, as it were.  Opposites may attract at times, but this is a tall order.  Especially as some in each side will want to keep separate - some from motives of ideological purity, others because they are cat's paws of the ruling class, set out to keep us divided.  And the ruling class is adpet at that - I say the Lord's Prayer in the same pew as a black man...but our government is dead set on making sure that I and that black man don't combine against the ruling class.  No more of that.  Time to unite.

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

What happens when a president fails to comply with the oath?

To my layman's mind, the Constitution is the foundation of law for the United States of America.  The Constitution is simple enough to understand as it is written so the citizen could understand it.

Lately, we have witnessed the Constitution brazenly ignored in executive orders and bills passed by congress which the President signed instead of vetoing them, which is his or her right and responsibility such as vetoing the NDAA and Patriot Acts.

What about authorizing drone attacks in sovereign nations which are not at war?  Drone attacks to kill "suspected insurgents" and often murdering innocents.  Then it is announced in the news of the existence of a "kill or hit" list that the President selects the next victim from.  Did any of these people on the kill list ever face his or her accuser in a court of law?   How do we know if they are truly guilty?   Who is next?

I don't remember ever reading in the Constitution of the President being allowed to have a "kill" list.

What about allowing the prison and torture facility in Guantanamo Bay to still operate?   It is a military installation and he is Commander in Chief who promised in his first term he would close it down.

I think the few examples I cited above illustrate that the Oath of the current and former president, one a Republican, the other a Democrat, have been compromised and they did not "to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Is this not grounds for impeachment?

Is the direction the leader of this country taking causing a disturbance in places unknown, yet real, causing America to descend from a place it was once honored, but is no more?

What happens if the people of America allow what happened during the last two presidencies continue?  What will the Constitution be worth then?   The attacks on 9/11 were said to be initiated and planned by a terrorist organization, not a hostile nation.  How many nations have now felt the wrath of of an angered USA,?  Yet these nations are not terrorist organizations nor are the innocent people living in those nations terrorists.

For some people this post may anger them, but think of this.  What rights or freedoms will the average citizen have ten years from now at the pace the Constitution is being made irrelevant today.  Or haven't you noticed?

Maybe it is time to make the Oath respected and adhered to again, for America's sake and for the world's sake.

I'm thinking like maybe we'll get lucky and other oligarchs in other lands will realise that if they don't take out the few elite that have turned the western world to shit soon that they will also suffer the consequences. Also the situation provides the perfect opportunity for a take over of the elites system when the citizenry is also against them. So they will have to fight from within (military and political opposition), from without (foreign oligarchs) and their own people. And, there aren't that many of the bankster families compared to those that oppose them.

Jan 20, 2013 world prayer day that god intervene against bankster occupation.

Art Bell had some really interesting things happen with mass prayer. He did a spoon bending experiment once. I could only find a teflon spoon so I concentrated on that sucker. It didn't bend. The next day I went to use it to eat some cereal for breakfast and the F'n end of it cracked off. Teflon doesn't crack like that as far as I know. Maybe on the 20th I'll concentrate on a bankster's neck.

The first step on making way out of this mess is to not believe what somebody is calling somebody, or even what somebody calls themself.

Listen to what they think and what they have say. Is it good for/make sense to you or not?

An easy winner for me is when somebody thinks a 3rd Party is a stupid and wrong-road concept...

... and they think we actually just need a 2nd Party to go against the one in Washington.

That's a good place to start.

This article pushed a lot of buttons in the short time it has been posted!

I liked this line:

Believe me, when I embarked on the path towards the truth in 2004, I never thought I would one day be called a potential “homegrown terrorist”, but that is essentially where we are in America in 2013.

My embarking on the path towards more "truth" started back when I was a teenager, when I first started to seriously think about things. Several decades later, I am still at it, of course, BUT my ways of attempting to move past the FALSE FUNDAMENTAL DICHOTOMIES have become far more profoundly radical than what this article has done, so far. We are way, way, way worse off than merely being stuck in a FALSE right versus left paradigm! Basically, all of the foundations of Neolithic civilization have become rotten! That includes the basic ways that we measure time and space, as well as our basic ideas about those concepts! We have managed to have enough paradigm shifts in physics to be able to build atomic bombs, but our popular culture and politics otherwise has not got the slightest clue what that means!

It is impossible to add enough exclamation points to indicate the degree to which atomic bombs going BOOM has philosophical and political meanings which are billions and trillions of times bigger than the goofy old-fashioned Neolithic civilization social pyramid systems that we are stuck living inside. The first generation that grew up with those emerging facts is still alive today, and the realities of having weapons become trillions of times more powerful has, so far, had no impact upon our politics, since we are still cruising on autopilot with respect to maintaining the social pyramid systems that were made during the previous several thousand years of human history.

What I remember most from being a teenager was waking up to the FACT that the world had developed enough atomic bombs to destroy civilization, IF there was ever any real war. That happened during the 1960s. However, from the 1970s onwards, the social pyramid system kept on doubling and doubling and doubling. Each President presided over the exponential growth of debts, because we were already inside a runaway system that had transformed "money" into meaning its opposite, since "money" had become debt!  The fundamental American system is simply the full flowering of the social pyramid system of Neolithic civilization, which was built on fraud, backed by force, which became amplified trillions of times by electronics and atomic energy.

Therefore, the FUNDAMENTAL system is legalized lies, backed by legalized violence. The basic reality is debt slavery, which has been growing exponentially to become debt insanity. Each President has presided over the total American debts doubling and doubling. Therefore, Bush II presided over the doubling of the total indebtedness accumulated during all previous Presidents, and then Obama has presided over the total American debts doubling again, on top of what Bush II already presided over. As long as the fundamental financial system stays the same, the next President would have to keep on finding ways to keep the exponential growth of total debts in the established social pyramid system DOUBLING!!!

Therefore, OF COURSE, it does not matter which side of the false fundamental dichotomy one takes. THE PROBLEM IS THE FALSENESS OF THE DICHOTOMY ITSELF! Furthermore, the transcendence of that false fundamental dichotomy in philosophical and political terms should be at least as profound as the physics that transcended previous presumptions, in order to make it possible to imagine, and then to build, atomic bombs that go BOOM!

Our basic ideas of time and space are WRONG! Our basic ideas about our coordinate system are WRONG. EVERY ASPECT, IN THE MOST PROFOUND POSSIBLE WAYS, OF OUR NEOLITHIC CIVILIZATION IS WRONG!!!

... anyway ... I have not been thinking about these things from 2004, but rather from about 1964, and so, as we head towards 2014, I have not been thinking about these problems for a decade, but for half a Century. I have not stayed in the same place, but constantly developed my ideas to move forwards with respect to thinking about these problems. Although I rather like Brandon Smith's writing, I cannot help but find it quite superficial, compared to what kinds of radical rethinking about our politics that I believe is necessary. "Liberty Movement" HAH! ... Of course, the quintessential problem is that progress in science and technology has actually made human beings trillions of times more powerful, HOWEVER, our politics is almost totally hidebound by requiring that it have some popularity, in order to have some public power ... YET, THE FACTS ARE THAT THE VAST MAJORITY OF PEOPLE DO NOT UNDERSTAND, AND DO NOT WANT TO UNDERSTAND, ATOMIC ENERGY, NOR ANYTHING ELSE LIKE THAT ... Instead, our politics is mostly based on looking backwards, and continues to bullshit about old-fashioned impossible ideals, and rely upon false fundamental dichotomies. Therefore, our political science is still relatively in the new stone age, or Neolithic, while our REAL TECHNOLOGIES ARE TRANSLITHIC. They go far BEYOND STONE.

We operate our society through old-fashioned materialism, along side equally old-fashioned concepts of spirituality, while none of that makes any scientific sense anymore. Instead, I repeat, nothing but the inertia of morbid social habits keeps our systems going. Therefore, our politics is ridiculously pathetic. We still have Neolithic politics, despite being in an era of Translithic technology.  For several decades, we have atomic bombs that can go BOOM, and destroy civilization, but the people dominating the established social pryamid systems have done nothing but build their systems to be bigger and steeper than ever, which process is still going on. Therefore, both the Left and the Right work within and for the same old social pyramid system. That entire system is basically INSANE.  It is psychotically out of touch with the REAL WORLD OF ATOMIC ENERGY, ET ALIA!

However, that social psychosis has practically no effect, yet, upon social reality, since social reality continues to cruise on inertia of social habits, like a zombie lurching from one foot to the next ... LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT ... Theoretically, we should use the social pyramid systems as the centering scaffolding to build a sphere around. We should be waking up to the fact that Earth is a spaceship, our little life boat, ... but instead, we only prepare to blow it up, in unspeakably insane ways ...

Nothing else is allowed to exist in USA.

Wrong, guys, very very wrong.

This is official:

Before, during and even after the trial "God vs. Jews",- the USA have been offered (numerous times) direct, easy and almost painless salvation and solution from Lord Creator.

No one, I repeat no even one citizen of USA has accepted even one from a THOUSAND offers.

Here is the one fact that makes this NWO takeover of the world attempt different than all the other times in history. This time about two billion people know or have access to learn who the banking families are. This time it is not about country against country because the people of the world have become, no thanks to the banksters, one group, one large group of 7 billion people, against about 6,000 banksters whose IDs are known. Any country, or any corporation or anyone member of any family who has suffered damage by the banksters policies of wars, drone attacks or financial terrorism and effects therefrom could stop what the banksters are doing. My bets are with the people of the world.

Back at the beginning of the Great Depression one of the presidents of the 5 the leading Banks was found shot dead. There was no conclusive evidence as to who shot him or if he committed suicide. Some say the US Gov't did it. But after that the banksters temporarily stopped their concerted assault on the people.

I pray for peaceful resolution and believe in prayer. I am going to participate in the prayer experiment on Jan 20th.

I don't believe any group of oligarchs ever in power before has faced such an impossible battle as they are waging. They will lose probably by defeating themselves. F'kers aren't as united as they like to think they are.

The gold repatriation is a sign that their unified attack on the world is already breaking apart.

Cutting across party lines, how about my policy for the muslims? Er... before we join the French in another war with the same old excuses - and sensless loss of even one American life (unless they are a neo-con or a rabid liberal). My policy: for two years give massive military support to Sunnis to eliminate as many Shias as possible (then do not resupply Sunnis), the in the next two years give massive military supplies to Shias (then do not resupply Shias). Going on in alternate two year cycles, our casualties will be minimal - mostly due to accidents). In fact stay out of the way. After several cycles, they should have substantially reduced their numbers, and thus greatly reducing the threat to us. Also do not supply medical supplies to anyone, thus eliminating the false charge of favoritism. After they are diminished, we can make profitable deals with the survivors, like the British and French did after both WWI and WWII. In the meantime tell the British and French to stay out of the way; the ydon't have any supplies for the Brits (no shit, I read it yesterday) and the French will thus not get the shit kicked out of them by ALQuaeda, no matter how stupid Hollande trys to be. And for interim diversion we can promote the Italians as interim peacekeeprs and monitors as soon as Bubba Berlesconi gets back in power - better a womanizing very old fool (how does does he get his dick up at 80 anyway) who can be easily misguided. And he got to be a billionaire how? Offer him all of the theiving corruption opportunities he can come up with in Northern Africa, he is  so good at it. THUS, we cansavea lot of money, paydown the debt, and be much safer from radical 7th century lunatics of both stripes.

For an energetic expression of these 'american' values and principles, check the all -american, all-american middle class hero, namely the Texan Lance "Where's the syringe?" Armstrong. And his interviewer for his staged confession by the way.

This 'american' author crossed the line. Instead of trying to analyze what it is going on, he should try his hands at writing fantasy.
A kind of epic wind in his writings usually.

Reads like a guy reporting about a war experience, the 'american' style. Witness and all. He stomached the painful experience with his 'american' soul and heart. He is still affected by the experience but it tempered the steel of his resolution to stick to the 'american' spirit etc

What a product of the 'american' mass absence of culture.

Short long story: 'american' democrats of today follow in the steps of 'american' democrats of yesterday.

The only change: this 'american' voting for his political gang is no longer rewarding as it used to be.

You know, the 'american' middle class downsizing and all...

Nothing really new in your take on it, but hey keep preaching to the choir if it gets you donations.

When SHTF and we descend into resource based survival rules, at that point i would rather be part of a group with my friends and family around me than some lone wolf in a shack in the woods no matter how well armed i might be.

Personally i feel the breakup and collapse of the right wing in america is more due to rich white guys self imposed emasculation by women, blacks and poor people.

By all means take back the right wing, its descended into holier than thou one upmanship (beck vs jones) so the msm/TVland perception of the average USA right winger is a rich white guy with a gun and a bible who ignores the law and cares little about his community, cant say ZH is doing much to combat that stereotype.

The dems are winning the media war and as the last election showed you 'Real' right wingers are simply cash cows for the media/party strategists, stop drinking their cool aid and accept reality, only then will you become a force in politics again, unless you do so you will spend twenty years under dem govts, one party rule tends to tyranny even if you put the buddhists in charge.

Its quaint how you think dems are left wing, to everyone from europe you have two right wing parties arguing over who is more right wing.

Both parties are controlled by corporate interests, the nation state is yesterdays news, it sells in the USA because corporations make money from nationalism and american exceptionalism.

(tho your flags are made in china, lol)

You are sheep to be farmed, it doesnt matter if the farmer is called smith or jones its the same fucking farmer.

Nice to see you lefties reaching out like you usuually do, with stupid insults.  As a scientist, global warming isn't happening, at least its is a minor issue compared to other factors.  You are not worth saving if you believe the Koch Brothers are anything worth discussing, they are nothing but a distraction for you left wing idiots.  Emmanuel Goldstein.  Yes, you are the idiot, not we Tea Party types.  Its time for you to more deeply evaluate your views.  With logic, not emotion.  Global warming "science" is fraudulent. The data are cooked and skewed, the models are crap and produce BS and the theory is fundamentally flawed (CO2 causes higher H2O - forcing) which leads to warming.  I was appalled that "right wingers" like Rush said AGW was a fraud and I found out he was right after researching the topic.  As long as you waste your time smearing conservatives, the bad guys win.  You need to drop the Koch Brothers conspiracy crap and educate yourself.  AGW is totally designed to create a new tax base and exert control over the energy sector of the economy.  Control, not saving the world.  When you start understanding the control angle, you may finally see the light.  Obamacare is to exert control over the medical sector.  Its always about control.  The Patriot Act and NDAA exerts control over you, so its easier to prosecute you or even kill you.  Bush and Obama are two sides of the same control coin.

Some day you will realize that the big government and collectivist views are garbage and serve only to empower the elites.  This is not to say some "collective" views are not without merit, but trash collection isn't the Patriot Act. The crumbs are spread to the bottom of the pyramid when the govermnment does it.  At least in a real capitalist system there is some hope of making it on your own.  I don't trust the government and never will.  I hope you see the light.  Giving them more money and power is a ticket to slavery not freedom, no matter whether its Bush or Obama.  Its all about control.  I don't want to be controlled.  Its un-American.

Take the money out of politics?  Sure, after we take the politics out of money.  The government is every bit as corrupt as the crony capitalist private sector.  Big Business partners with the government to screw us all.  Both sides of that equation need to be addressed.  Not with more money and power.

Thank you for such an extremely well thought and well expressed essay.

I, too, came to similar conclusions, albeit a few years earlier, and decided the only solution was to save myself and get out before it got too bad in the USA and it would be impossible to get out.  Mv thinking was similar to the Jewish families who got out of Germany in the 1930's.  Getting free of the USA was difficult, required planning and took many years but it was the best thing I have ever done for myself.

As stated, "There will come a time, very soon I believe, when people like me are officially labeled 'terrorists'." It is now too late.  The time arrived with the passage of the misnamed US Patriot Act, in which a terrorist is described as any person, who activvely opposes the policies of the US government, including by advocacy.

Good luck to you and yours, my friend.  From my distant viewpoint, I can see clearly how the noose is tightening on the once free citizenry of the USA and the view is horrifying.

The US constitution has justified every sin and crime of those United States, from slavery to genocide of the indigenous peoples to the suppression of workers, immigrants and minorities. It is a mirror by which all the hypocrisies of the Empire can be filtered, purified and exonerated. It is the tool, plaything and template by which the plutocrats on Wall Street can forge their Machiavellian schemes to loot Main Street. It will outlast the Empire, of course, like Hammurabi's stele, but like that Mesopotamian ruler's legal code, it will be a museum piece reminding the future of what men will say to justify their sins.

As someone who was raised "left" and acquired viewpoints considerably to the "right" (and fully agreeing with your final statements w.r.t. the erosion of personal liberties), let me send you a message:

  •  The reason that the "right wing" (hardcore liberals) are considered extremists, especially among Europeans, is that they are completely bigoted and conditioned pavlov-style w.r.t. any mention of the terms "public", "collective" or "social" (as can be readily evidenced in virtually every ZH comment thread). Although this cannot really be held against them as this mental conditioning against everything 'socialist' originates from the cold-war 'red scare' and decades of brainwashing by the wealthy class that redistribution of wealth is wholly 'unamerican' and against the american ideals of freedom. This conditioning is still firmly rooted in the American mind. As a consequence, the general arguments posed by the "left" (or for that matter, those held by most citizens of European social democracies) and which they fail to see, let alone consider are the following:
    • The 'free to determine your own destiny' argument is largely bullcrap. If you are born with serious illness or are the victim of a serious accident or disease, without the availability of decent healthcare you are free to lead a life of misery and suffering and struggling to pay your medical bills. These circumstances are largely beyond your control. If you are born into a "lower class" family and environment and have no access to decent education you are free to be ignorant and have your entire social entourage consisting of ignorant people as well. You are free to pursue a worthless range of careers, except if you are particularly bright and have an enterprising spirit and a large dose of luck. Again, these circumstances are largely beyond your control. In addition, almost any millionaire/billionaire with half a brain will admit that his richess stem largely from being born into an affluent and well-connected family. "Self-made" men like Bill Gates are the exception, not the norm.
    • time by time again it has been shown that societies in which all people have access to these basic services (which requires a certain degree of redistribution of wealth) and as a consequence are more egalitarian by nature, with less class differences, are happier societies overall than societies that have limited forms of wealth redistribution. In addition, the argument that a limited form of wealth redistribution to provide these basic services is impossible or unsustainable is also bullcrap. With a sound balancing of the budget, efficient and non-corrupt government, these service can be provided without overtaxing nor overspending.
    • Your constant whining over 'big' and corrupt government is largely the consequence of liberal policies, which enabled corporations to reap immense profits by means of fraudulent schemes (the entire derivatives ponzi that largely caused the entire mess we are in now) and thereby gain power (by buying themselves into the political system). It also allowed them to rid themselves of any accountability or responsibility w.r.t. the countries they operate in, enabling them to move freely in this globalized fuckfest, nesting themselves as parasites in those countries that offer them the best conditions with regard to exploitation of their workforce, tax loopholes and hiding of profits.
    • Your 'efficient markets' hypothesis has been all but disproven, now branded 'free markets religion' by many of the intelligentsia. Total liberalization of the market does not cause the efficient allocation of capital and prosperity for all: it rewards greed, monopolists, and corruption. To allow the benefits of efficient markets, you need a strong government that cannot be bought to provide strong regulation, to prevent endless mergers and acquisitions, so that monopolies and concentration of power do not arise and competition really does serve the interest of the common man. In addition strong government does not equal big and wasteful goverment. A well-functioning government represents the will of its constituency, is efficient so that it does not waste the resources of its citizens and it is strong such that it is not taken over by external interests (e.g. allow disproportionate control over the populace by media etc.).
    • It is true, academia has partly devolved into egotripping and games of prestige. But your incessant disdain of acamedia (such as the ever ridiculed 'PhD' on ZH) really does not help your credibility. Science and academia are still the motors of our societies and knowledge-based economies and if there are problems, these need to be solved through dialogue and addressed. Science is by definiton empirical and grounded in reality, attempts to solve complex problems (like economics) should be applauded and encouraged instead of ridiculed.

You talk about having respect for Academia, which if your talking about Mathematics, Physics, or Biochemistry etc., I have to agree with you.  But many subjects don't make the grade.  You mentioned some of the flaws in modern economics, which is a complete failure of the academic paradigm.  The subject was co-opted by the financial complex as it was created.  Basically, economics is too improtnat to be left to academic scientists.  We need the theory of economics that makes bankers and financiers richest, period.

The truth finding mechanisms of Academia did not work in this case, they could not protect us from the total coruption of the most important subject to the proper funcitoning of our soceity.  Somewhere along the line Leftist ideas polluted American Liberalism, the philosophy of the enlightenment and our founding fathers.

You can see that Keynes, writing in the 1930's, had a successful Fascist in Adolf Hitler on one side, and a successful Communist in Stalin on the other.  Neither had been discredited yet.  Keynes wanted to preserve the best of the Anglo-Saxon instict for freedom and the great liberal traditions of the 18th century.  By ignoring the connection between credit creation and the health of an economy, he laid ground work for Leftist ideas to come to the fore in Eurpoe, England and USA.   We have ended up withlarger governments, taking ever more power and creating ever more debt in the name of helping people.  The instncts of the bureaucrat are the same everywhere.

Clearly the author has much to learn - it is ABSOLUTE POWER which brings totalitarianism and that is not brought by left or right - it's produced by the apathy of the middle (that's you).

Apathy brought about the rise of hitler, mussolini and any other first world tolaitarians - as opposed to third world totalitarians who are often empowered by western apathy (as people don't make a fuss in the west when their nation takes them to war to instal the 'next' viscious dictator)

Are people really so dumb they think that if the right plays the martyr then we will hand them power?

Republican party leader said what?

“The streets of our cities are in turmoil. The universities are filled with students rebelling and rioting. socialists are seeking to destroy our country. China is threatening us with her might and the Republic is in danger. Yes, danger from within and without. We need law and order! Yes, without law and order our nation cannot survive. . . . Elect us and we shall restore law and order. We shall, by law and order, be respected among the nations of the world. Without law and order our Republic shall fail.”

Democrat would phrase it differently - it is a dark hour where we need more solidarity and unity. We need to all chip in, support the party in it's quest to right the wrongs of oppressed and left behind whose numbers now are legion. You could probably also find a Stalin quote for your Hitler quote to match it with hundreds of speeches he has made. It makes little difference is it left or is it right. In this circumstances it only counts how much authoritarian spice is in it.

Blue, red or yellow. No real difference. Left, right or middle. No real difference.

America, Japan, Germany, Spain, UK, wherever. No real difference.

We are all fucking stupid morons.

Government want to control the people.

Banks want to control the money.

We let them.

We are all fucking morons. Doesn't matter which Government or which Bank. Doesn't matter if you are black, white, brown, yellow, pink, blue, young, old or a foetus, you are a fucking moron. We are all fucking morons.

I know we are all fucking morons for letting the Government get increasing control over us and giving banks complete control over the money.

I have known this since I was 8, so I am a smug fucking moron. You know what? After 35 additional years I realise the truth, it is just human nature. By nature, human beings, are fucking morons.

I hope this helps my fellow ZHers who don't seem to realise that they are fucking morons too.

For example, Ben Bernanke doesn't realise that he is a fucking moron. It doesn't matter. He is still a fucking moron.

Gordon_Gekko thinks Europeans are fucking morons. He is right. He doesn't understand that he is a fucking moron too. Obama is a fucking Moron. Americans are fucking morons. I am a fucking moron. We are the human race, why are we running? Because we are fucking morons.

Up arrow to you for telling the truth, but even that was incomplete and naive.

Europe is our future, rushing headlong to meet us like that light at the end of that tunnel - it's a train.

If they "deserve it", then so do you and I.

Even our Masonic, deist founding fathers knew that only a religious and fairly culturally homogenous people would stand any chance of retaining the Republic as it was originally conceived.  We are proving them correct, albeit in the negative, by how we ignorantly participate in the dis-assembly of our own secular foundations by letting liars and thieves convince us that our spiritual inheritance and moral lifeblood are opiate distractions for suckers.

The big lie is that the dividing line is between Democrats and Republicans. It isn't. It's between the haves and the have-nots. I'm not just talking about wealth either. I'm primarily talking about power, to do it just because I say so, and then come up with any bullshit reason to explain and justify it.

Too few people with too much power to do whatever they like primarily in their own interest. That’s the clear and present danger, as you can see in places like Egypt, Syria, Libya, etc.

Old Proverb: Money flows to power.

Modern Addition: Especially the power to create money.

My American friends:

If you think European society is more f*cked up than yours... what drugs are you on?????????

We may well have had socialism for longer than you, but we are generally far more conservative than the average American, have histories going back millenia and therefore, far more grounded.

Oh joy, Brandon Smith has a better grip on reality than most everyone else:

" Stumbling upon the fact that you do not necessarily have a competent grasp of reality, that you have in fact been duped for most of your life, is not a pleasant experience."

Because it is true that there is next to no policy difference between the 2 facets of the American 1-party, corporatist-capitalist political control mechanism, it adds little to the discussion to point a finger at either the D facet or the R facet for selective criticism.

Sooner or later it must be recognized the current system will need either to implode of its own weight, or be peaceably overthrown.

If there is anything unclear about the observation that the current D/R control apparatus will implode; or any perceived ambiguity in the call for it to be peaceably overthrown, please post your request for clarification, and I will try to make this even clearer for you.

what are these criteria defining these puppets as being on the 'left'?!

stripping us of habeas corpus?  commandeering armed drones flying over domestic airspace?  perpetuation and expansion of a never-ending massive global war?  cracking down on marijuana dispensaries at a rate above and beyond any other administration? being wholly corrupted by their crony capitalist masters?

the bullshit going on in this country is not a fucking partisan agenda, it's been orchestrated by shadow rulers to further their own agenda, and it's been going on for decades.

save the fucking strawmen for the HuffPo.  seriously, ZH.

It is not stupidity that is the issue it is a lack of information. There are too many low information individuals out there right now. Your thinking and decisions are influenced by the quality of information you have available. There are a lot of "educated' people who suffer from low I in their mental diets. You either need to enrich their existing sources of I with high I or get them to start feeding from different sources that contain high I. It is no different than dealing with fat people who I like to think are a physical manifestation of this problem.

The Theory of Evolution shows us that changes in bio-systems do not progress in a linear fashion and are filled with missteps, false starts and dead ends.

We are currently in the end stage of a global fiat money / credit expansion trap and no one can say with certainty when it will end, but end it will. A monetary dead end, like Leakey's Lucy. It's demise is built in, as in any Ponzi scheme where inputs have to increase to maintain the illusion of order.

All our supplications to the various gods of our beliefs and isms (all based on imperfect or partial knowledge/ understanding) won't make a bit of difference because the underlying premise of fiat currency is a fraud that has lost all semblance of value/ wealth.

Only when we return to 'real' money that cannot be counterfeited at will can we even begin to have a sensible conversation on what we decide is worthy of expenditure and what we should not because the true cost is immediate and obvious. I think most peoples ideas would change to what is essential and necessary when the costs are reckoned with and have to be collected before the expenditure is made and all are equally liable for the costs.

"Honest money makes honest men."

Not that the crooks will disappear, of course, but it's easier to see a thumb on a scale than an inflation that robs everyone in secret.

I truly think that 'if you want it, you must pay for it as well' would change many peoples minds on what is a prudent and wise investment as opposed to an ideological belief that others bear the burden of cost.

Want a war? Good. Sell your car to pay for it and send in the money. No borrowing.

Banks become utilities loaning only deposits and are directly responsible for depositors funds themselves. No .Gov. insurance. Gamble with your own money.

I think then Red/ Blue would become much more purple overall.

Being Lucy sucks is something pretty much everyone can agree on.

* Preaching to the choir...Can I get an Amen?

Declaration of Independence, Founder's Edition, rediscovered.
Job one - secure rights (endowed by Creator);
Job two - govern those who consent; and
Job three - leave people alone who did not consent nor injured the person or property of another.

Free men don’t need government permission (license) to live, wed, work, trade, buy, sell, own,  travel, or run a business. Free men don’t work a portion of their lives for the benefit of another - under duress. Free men don’t shirk their obligation to defend their rights to life, liberty and private property, nor take kindly to disarmament by their servants.

But slaves do.
Ironically, these slaves believe themselves to be “free”- - -
