There are many reputable sources available to further this point, but John Lott isn't one of them. Unless he's been able to produce his hard drivve, or his questionnaires, or more than one person willing to admit to having taken his questionnaire, or Mary Rosh, or any other grain of justification for his claims. It all makes sense now when I took some xrays last month and the administrative nurse asked me from my religion and since I was paying cash where the money comes from.

it's called personal response-ability. paying "cash" to holistic practitioners also tells your mind how value-able the service is to you, it's like cash vs. plastic cards, which are sooo easy to get lost in relative to actual fiat currency.
and if one has a trustworthy relationship with your practitioners, the subject of trades/barter can always be introduced, yet another creative way to exist. . .

Couldn't agree more with John39. I can cite multiple recent and diverse examples where naturopathic advice and remedies - some of which conflict with my education - have made a meaningful and even dramatic difference for members of my family. Pill-popping and mainstream passivity simply doesn't cut the mustard if you really want to help those close to you.

You know thats funny? I love arguing with audiophiles, you know the people who spend 5000 dollars on one 10' speaker cable because it's made to space age exacting standards.
I actually argued you could extrude two solid .999 silver bars with that were 1/2" x 1" x 10' long and still not get close to 5000 dollars (This was back in 2006) they still maintained the Ochre and Timber of the resultant sound would have been off and not on par with the "Pluunk" 2000 cables.
They never use engineering units to quantify sound or electrical characteristics, always subjective words like "dominance, timbre, brightness" let alone no audiophine I've bumped into has ever had a hearing test in the last 10 years.
