While we know that most of the world's billionaires are currently holed up in Davos, Bloomberg has created a visual extravaganza for tracking the great and good of our fair world. The real-time billionaire tracker maps the world's richest people to their country of citizenship, industry, gender, age, and source of wealth. We assume this is the new deal target for our administration - how long before we see these headshots on the back of a set of playing cards?

How much did Qaddafi have? How about Mubarak? When a mere President of Pakistan like Bhutto, can end up SOMEHOW having $10B, these guys have more money than anyone on this list.
MQ was rolling in oil money as dictator for how many decades? Even that little Tunisian idiot they ran outta there had over $10B. Mubarak was supposed to have something like $80B.
Never MIND what the Sauds have. Rafik Harari had more than $8B...his children were among the "richest under 18" as was Bhutto's spawn. Simple leaders of insignificant countries end up with far more wealth than any of these working, industry-building clowns. Heck, Arafat had what, 3...4 billion? Not long. Making the lives of the wealthy less comfortable by applying social pressure to them and their lineal descendants is always the start. Herny Ford did well in this regard as he never lost the support of his neighbors and was able to live openly and without fear in his own community. Rockefeller was terrible and the pressure took a tremendous toll on his lineal descendants. Leland Stanford ended as a childless solitary man so it never especially bothered him after the death of his only son. Charles Crocker was a rather magnanimous banker who did well in the community, same with Mark Hoppkins. They employed a lot of people, spread their wealth built hotels and or office complexes and were generally well regarded. Pillars of the the society. Kind of like Warren Buffet does but to a lesser degree today. Bill Gates has too much of an internationalist bent and runs a risk. As for the reclusive American financial industry billionaires who want the money and their anonomity as well, especially the ones that belong to religous minorities, they or their lineal descendants are likely to have their share of problems much like their predecessors did if the prior patterns repeat themselves.

wikipedia has a great article on the Rothschilds. Castles and castels, vineyards, etc. And who knows how much gold. They are RICH, yet hardly anyone publicizes them...
