Beijing Smog: Before And After Pictures
We could tell readers' that earlier today, just like two weeks ago when Beijing was blanketed by the worst smog on record, the official reading of Beijing air quality moved from "hazardous (at a 24 hour exposure at this level)" to the laughable "Beyond Index" reading (which maybe means Beijing needs a bigger index)...
... or we could just show these two pictures of Beijing before and after the smog: both taken at the same time, at the same place, with the only difference being the latest onslaught of what is now becoming a weekly occurrence of the worst breathing conditions recorded in any industrialized country.

Air pollution went from bad to worse in Beijing, after residents of the capital and surrounding areas again found themselves inundated in thick smog, leading to broader calls for a solution.
On Tuesday morning, the US embassy’s air quality index (AQI) reading for Beijing stood at 495 and “hazardous” at 11am, after having reached 517, or “beyond index”, at 6am.
The index rates anything over 150 as “unhealthy”, over 300 as “hazardous”, while a reading above the upper limit of 500 is regarded as “beyond index”.
Meanwhile, the Beijing Municipal Environmental Monitoring Centre gave the figure at 10am as 393, indicating the air in the capital was “severely polluted”.
The centre says pollution across Beijing is expected to persist because there is little wind to disperse pollutants. It advises city residents to stay indoors as much as possible.
Yesterday municipal weather authorities retained the "yellow" smog warning as visibility remained below 3,000 metres.
Air quality index readings in much of downtown Beijing, as measured by the local environmental watchdog and the US embassy, shot above 350 yesterday - a significant increase from Sunday.
The US embassy's air quality readings, published hourly on its Twitter feed, showed the level of PM2.5 rose drastically throughout the day to 496 at 4pm- far above the "hazardous" level of 300 micrograms per cubic metre.
The Beijing Municipal Environmental Centre, which is under the city's Environmental Protection Bureau, rated air quality in most of the city as being seriously polluted, as PM2.5 readings fluctuated between 340 and 360.
When the level of PM2.5 in the air surpasses 100, it is deemed unhealthy for people with heart or lung disease, older adults and children, and those groups should reduce prolonged or heavy exertion, particularly outdoors, according to advice given by the US Embassy.
The smog also appeared to have spread farther to southeastern regions, with flight disruptions being reported yesterday morning at 10 mainland airports, including in Hebei's Shijiazhuang and Henan's Zhengzhou .
Visibility at the Shijiazhuang airport was reduced to around 100 metres, forcing the cancellation of at least seven flights, and in Zhengzhou more than 10,000 passengers were stranded by 11.30am, as up to 150 flights were either cancelled or delayed, China National Radio reports.
The good news for China is that unlike Japan it will not have to worry about such a petty concern as an aging population: all it needs to do is tell the plebs that the air is good and everyone should enjoy the lovely yellow day and poof: there go a few trillion in underfunded future pensions and entitlement benefits.

Before anyone jumps to any conclusions about where this "smog" comes from, one should take a look up into the sky at the criminal chemtrailers that dump tons of toxic chemicals and "smog" in the air EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY over most parts of the world, particular in the sick technocratic thugocracy known as Amerika. The criminals at the highest levels spray us and fill our once beautiful skys with fog and clouds everyday----these sick criminals are FAR WORSE than manufacturers that might put smog in the air---at least sith manufacturers they are making something ---- all the geoengineering thugs do is pollute our air, water, and soil with all forms of toxic chemicals known to kill.
Its hard to believe that our state run media is so corrupt they would complain about factory and coal smog while not reporting on our own criminal government spraying us with millions of tons of chemicals every day.

If the elite wants to kill off a few million people, they won't waste years to slowly contaminate the air so people suffer, use the health care system (only elite benefit imo) and then wait for the people to die slowly.

Don't remember, but there's 3 countries that don't allow CT spraying. China & Ecuador are 2 of them.

Was poopoo'd severely by mentioning it one day by my sis & her Dr. hubby. They let it be known that I was paranoid & read too much. It was not until they got back to NM & witnessed it there that maybe I'm not so paranoid after all. Then, they overheard numerous people in a restaurant yammering on about them. Sent 3 pic's to a friend whose father is an aerospace engineer that worked with the space shuttles & wind tunnel testing. Went for a 2 mile walk yesterday & snapped 28 or so pics. People kept looking at me odd & somehow this crap just does not register with their brain from their lyin eyes. Sent to the friend whose father is an AE yesterday. Here's his take on the 1st three that I sent. Can't wait for his take on 28 in a 40 min time span in various stages of dispersion. Also sent the link for aluminum resistant sorgham patent.
Clouds with dark vertical drops: This is what a normal rain cloud looks like when rain is falling. The rain may be evaporating before it hits the ground, but it still shows up high in the atmosphere as extensions downward from the cloud. Got our 1st rain here in about a yr. other than spit a couple of times.Contrails that stay in the air: It depends on the atmospheric conditions of the air, both temperature and humidity. Some contrails evaporate a short distance after the airplane, while other contrails stay in the air for hours. Contrails that persist are a result of cool atmospheric conditions that support the ice in the air for long periods.
Chemicals sprayed: If airplanes are indeed releasing chemicals into the air, it depends on the altitude at which they are releasing them as to where they will fall. Unless the plane is low to the ground, anything released from the airplane will dissipate and be spread in all directions as far as Kansas before it reaches the ground. If the airplanes you saw are 10,000 feet or more above the ground, then anything released from them will be widely dissipated before reaching earth. I can say that after heavy continuous spraying that the leaves on my trees, starting at the crown, completely dessicated & fell off. Leaves under the canopy remained normal, turned colors when the temp dropped & went their normal dormant route. When red cedars are dying from the top down, you know something is terribly wrong. I don't even think agent orange could kill that invasive species."Terrorism as I see it."

The picture on the left is the fake. I was in Beijing 2 years ago, I did not see any blues skies even on their nicest day.
Hired a driver to drive us out 1 hour to the less visited Great Wall and skies were blue there.
Don't worry, Chinese officials will fix the index. On the other hand you can make good sausages in Beijing these days.
If it gets thick enough they can slice sections of it out of the atmosphere and sell it as insulation. Win Win!
