Guest Post: The Linchpin Lie: How Global Collapse Will Be Sold To The Masses

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Brandon Smith of Alt-Market blog,

In our modern world there exist certain institutions of power.  Not government committees, alphabet agencies, corporate lobbies, or even standard military organizations; no, these are the mere “middle-men” of power.  The errand boys.  The well paid hitmen of the global mafia.  They are not the strategists or the decision makers.

Instead, I speak of institutions which introduce the newest paradigms.  Who write the propaganda.  Who issue the orders from on high.  I speak of the hubs of elitism which have initiated nearly every policy mechanism of our government for the past several decades.  I am talking about the Council On Foreign Relations, the Tavistock Institute, the Heritage Foundation (a socialist organization posing as conservative), the Bilderberg Group, as well as the corporate foils that they use to enact globalization, such as Monsanto, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, the Carlyle Group, etc.

Many of these organizations and corporations operate a revolving door within the U.S. government.  Monsanto has champions, like Donald Rumsfeld who was on the board of directors of its Searle Pharmaceuticals branch, who later went on to help the company force numerous dangerous products including Aspartame through the FDA.  Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan have a veritable merry-go-round of corrupt banking agents which are appointed to important White House and Treasury positions on a regular basis REGARDLESS of which party happens to be in office.  Most prominent politicians are all members of the Council on Foreign Relations, an organization which has openly admitted on multiple occasions that their goal is the destruction of U.S. sovereignty and the formation of a “one world government” or “supranational union” (their words, not mine).

However, one organization seems to rear its ugly head at the forefront of the most sweeping mass propaganda operations of our time, and has been linked to the creation of the most atrocious military methodologies, including the use of false flag events.  I am of course referring to the Rand Corporation, a California based “think tank” whose influence reaches into nearly every sphere of our society, from politics, to war, to entertainment.

The Rand Corporation deals in what I would call “absolute gray”.  The goal of the group from its very inception was to promote a social atmosphere of moral ambiguity in the name of personal and national priority.  They did this first through the creation of “Rational Choice Theory”; a theory which prescribes that when making any choice, an individual (or government) must act as if balancing costs against benefits to arrive at an action that maximizes personal advantage.  Basically, the ends justify the means, and moral conscience is not a factor to be taken seriously if one wishes to be successful.

Hilariously, rational choice theory has been attacked in the past by pro-socialist (collectivist) critics as “extreme individualism”; a philosophy which gives us license to be as “self serving” as possible while feeling patriotic at the same time.  In reality, the socialists should have been applauding Rand Corporation all along.

What Rand had done through its propaganda war against the American people was to infuse the exact culture of selfishness needed to push the U.S. towards the socialist ideal.  At the onset of any communist or national socialist society (sorry socialists, but they do indeed come from the same collectivist mindset), the masses are first convinced to hand over ultimate power to the establishment in order to safeguard THEMSELVES, not others.  That is to say, the common collectivist man chooses to hand over his freedoms and participate in totalitarianism not because he wants what is best for the world, but because he wants what is best for himself, and he believes servitude to the system will get him what he wants with as little private sacrifice as possible (you know, except for his soul…).

The psychologist Carl Jung notes in his observations of collectivism in Nazi Germany and Stalinist Russia that most citizens of those nations did not necessarily want the formation of a tyrannical oligarchy, but, they went along with it anyway because they feared for their own comfort and livelihoods.  Many a German supported the Third Reich simply because they did not want to lose a cushy job, or a steady paycheck, or they liked that the “trains ran on time”.  Socialism is by far the most selfish movement in history, despite the fact that they claim to do what they do “for the greater good of the greater number”.

Rand also used Rational Choice Theory as a means to remove questions of principle from the debate over social progress.  Rational Choice propaganda commonly presents the target audience with a false conundrum.  A perfect example would be the hardcore propaganda based television show ‘24’ starring Kiefer Sutherland, in which a government “anti-terrorism” agent is faced with a controlled choice scenario in nearly every episode.  This choice almost always ends with the agent being forced to set aside his morals and conscience to torture, kill, and destroy without mercy, or, allow millions of innocents to die if he does not.

Of course, the real world does not work this way.  Life is not a chess game.   Avenues to resolution of any crisis are limited only by our imagination and intelligence, not to mention the immense number of choices that could be made to defuse a crisis before it develops.  Yet, Rand would like you to believe that we (and those in government) are required to become monstrous in order to survive.  That we should be willing to forgo conscience and justice now for the promise of peace and tranquility later.

This is the age old strategy of Centralization; to remove all choices within a system, by force or manipulation, until the masses think they have nothing left but the choices the elites give them.  It is the bread and butter of elitist institutions like Rand Corporation, and is at the core of the push for globalization.

In my studies on the developing economic disaster (or economic recovery depending on who you talk to) I have come across a particular methodology many times which set off my analyst alarm (or spidey-sense, if you will).  This latest methodology, called “Linchpin Theory”, revolves around the work of John Casti, a Ph.D. from USC, “complexity scientist” and “systems theorist”, a Futurist, and most notably, a former employee of Rand Corporation:

Casti introduces his idea of “Linchpin Theory” in his book “X-Events:  The Collapse Of Everything”, and what I found most immediately striking about the idea of “Linchpin Events” was how they offered perfect scapegoat scenarios for catastrophes that are engineered by the establishment.

Linchpin Theory argues that overt social, political, and technological “complexity” is to blame for the most destructive events in modern human history, and it is indeed an enticing suggestion for those who are uneducated and unaware of the behind the scenes mechanics of world events.  Casti would like you to believe that political and social tides are unguided and chaotic; that all is random, and disaster is a product of “chance” trigger events that occur at the height of a malfunctioning and over-complicated system.

What he fails to mention, and what he should well know being a member of Rand, is that global events do not evolve in a vacuum.  There have always been those groups who see themselves as the “select”, and who aspire to mold the future to there personal vision of Utopia.  It has been openly admitted in myriad official observations on historical events that such groups have had a direct hand in the advent of particular conflicts.

For instance, Casti would call the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria an “X-event”, or linchpin, leading to the outbreak of WWI, when historical fact recalls that particular crisis was carefully constructed with the specific mind to involve the U.S.

Norman Dodd, former director of the Committee to Investigate Tax Exempt Foundations of the U.S. House of Representatives, testified that the Committee was invited to study the minutes of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace as part of the Committee's investigation. The Committee stated:

"The trustees of the Foundation brought up a single question.  If it is desirable to alter the life of an entire people, is there any means more efficient than war.... They discussed this question... for a year and came up with an answer: There are no known means more efficient than war, assuming the objective is altering the life of an entire people.  That leads them to a question: How do we involve the United States in a war.  This was in 1909."

So, long before the advent of Ferdinand’s assassination, plans were being set in motion by globalist interests to draw the U.S. into a large scale conflict in order to “alter the life, or thinking, of the entire culture”.  When a group of people set out to direct thinking and opportunity towards a particular outcome, and the end result is a culmination of that outcome, it is obviously not coincidence, and it is definitely not providence.  It can only be called subversive design.

In the economic arena, one might say that the collapse of Lehman Bros. was the “linchpin” that triggered the landslide in the derivatives market which is still going on to this day.  However, the derivatives market bubble was a carefully constructed house of cards, deliberately created with the help of multiple agencies and institutions.  The private Federal Reserve had to artificially lower interest rates and inject trillions upon trillions into the housing market, the international banks had to invest those trillions into mortgages that they KNEW were toxic and likely never to be repaid.  The Federal Government had to allow those mortgages to then be chopped up into derivatives and resold on the open market.  The ratings agencies had to examine those derivatives and obviously defunct mortgages and then stamp them AAA.  The SEC had to ignore the massive fraud being done in broad daylight while sweeping thousands of formal complaints and whistle blowers under the rug.

This was not some “random” event caused by uncontrolled “complexity”.  This was engineered complexity with a devious purpose.  The creation of the derivatives collapse was done with foreknowledge, at least by some.  Goldman Sachs was caught red handed betting against their OWN derivatives instruments!  Meaning they knew exactly what was about to happen in the market they helped build!  This is called Conspiracy…

One might attribute Casti’s idea to a sincere belief in chaos, and a lack of insight into the nature of globalism as a brand of religion.  However, in his first and as far as I can tell only interview with Coast To Coast Radio, Casti promotes catastrophic “X-Events” as a “good thing” for humanity, right in line with the Rand Corporation ideology.  Casti, being a futurist and elitist, sees the ideas of the past as obsolete when confronted with the technological advancements of the modern world, and so, describes X-event moments as a kind of evolutionary “kickstart”, knocking us out of our old and barbaric philosophies of living and forcing us, through trial by fire, to adapt to a more streamlined culture.  The linchpin event is, to summarize Casti’s position, a culture’s way of “punishing itself” for settling too comfortably into its own heritage and traditions.  In other words, WE will supposedly be to blame for the next great apocalypse, not the elites…

I might suggest that Casti's attitude seems to be one of general indifference to human suffering in the wake of his "X-Events", and that he would not necessarily be opposed to the deaths of millions if it caused the "advancement" of humanity towards a particular ideology.  His concept of "advancement" and ours are likely very different, though.  I suspect that he is well aware that X-Events are actually tools at the disposal of elitists to generate the "evolution" he so desires, and that evolution includes a collectivist result.

With almost every major economy on the globe on the verge of collapse and most now desperately inflating, taxing, or outright stealing in order to hide their situation, with multiple tinderbox environments being facilitated in the Pacific with China, North Korea, and Japan, and in the Middle East and Africa with Egypt, Syria, Iran, Pakistan, Yemen, Mali, etc., there is no doubt that we are living in a linchpin-rich era.  It is inevitable that one or more of these explosive tension points will erupt and cause a chain reaction around the planet.  The linchpin and the chain reaction will become the focus of our epoch, rather than the men who made them possible in the first place.

Strangely, Casti’s theory was even recently featured in an episode of the ABC mystery/drama show “Castle”, called “Linchpin” (what else?), in which a writer turned detective uncovers a plot by a “shadow group” to use the research of the innocent Dr. Nelson Blakely (apparently based on Casti) to initiate a collapse of the U.S. economy by assassinating the ten-year-old daughter of a prominent Chinese businessman, triggering a dump of U.S. Treasuries by China and fomenting WWIII:

Now, I think anyone with any sense can see where this is going.  Casti and Rand Corporation are giving us a glimpse into the future of propaganda.  This is what will be written in our children’s history books if the globalists have their way. The fact that Linchpin Theory is featured in a primetime television show at all is a testament to Rand Corporation’s influence in the media.  But, as for the wider picture, are the trigger points around us really just a product of complex coincidence?

Not a chance.

Each major global hot-spot today can easily be linked back to the designs of international corporate and banking interests and the puppet governments they use as messengers.  Casti claims that “X-events” and “linchpins” cannot be accurately predicted, but it would seem that they can certainly be purposely instigated.

The globalists have stretched the whole of the world thin.  They have removed almost every pillar of support from the edifice around us, and like a giant game of Jenga, are waiting for the final piece to be removed, causing the teetering structure to crumble.  Once this calamity occurs, they will call it a random act of fate, or a mathematical inevitability of an overly complex system.  They will say that they are not to blame.  That we were in the midst of “recovery”.  That they could not have seen it coming.

Their solution will be predictable.  They will state that in order to avoid such future destruction, the global framework must be “simplified”, and what better way to simplify the world than to end national sovereignty, dissolve all borders, and centralize nation states under a single economic and political ideal?

Is it the Hegelian Dialectic all over again?  Yes.  Is it old hat feudalism and distraction?  Yes.  But, I have to hand it to Casti and Rand Corporation; they certainly have refined the argument for collectivism, centralization, technocracy, slavery, moral relativism, and false-flag dupery down to a near science…

Younger readers would not know that this is the same Rand Corporation that once listed "intervention by interplanetary aliens" as one of the most likely events to bring an end to the Cold War.

Hard to argue with logic like that... and why bother?

I don't want to say that the world is rudderless... it has a rudder... but the rudder is only so useful to those who control it. The forces of nature can easily overpower a flimsy rudder. Sometimes the conditions allow for the rudder to direct the boat... othertimes not. It just a matter of the weather conditions. Somtimes you're the parrot, sometimes you're the pirate... ARRRRRRR MATEY!!!!

Type 1:  smart people who understand that the world has morphed into a Bank-Government-BigCorporation-Justice entity, in each nation.  They understand that the dynamics playing out mean an eventual return to hard assets and an unprecedented financial collapse.  They understand, though, CONTRARY to this article, that this fucking carnage cannot be enginnered in any way, as the second and third order ripple effects are completely unpredictable.

Type 2:  Imbeciles who scapegoat everything to Jews, Rothchilds, etcetc ad nauseum.  These imbeciles think that everything is perfectly engineered by them and that they know the ultimate consequences and that they do not fall pray to the unescapable law of unintended effects.  Even though some of these people/groups (Bilderbergs, Rothchilds, etc) are part of the aforementioned Godzilla-like entity, THEY CANNOT ENGINEER anything with any precision.

This idea that the killing in Sarajevo was engineered to be directly related to US involvement is ridiculous for any student of History, or complex adaptive systems for that matter.  It's actually laughable.  It took weeks for people to realize that Ferdinand's death was actually kinda of a big deal.

Please, if you feel offended by classifying yourself into type 2, please read the "Trade-off" paper from FEASTA.  These bigshot fucks have ZERO idea where we're heading; they are fucking us up real good, but they can't engineer this thing with any precision.  (Some exceptions do apply, of course, like the fiat ponzinomics, but if you study psychology, morons like Bernanke & Krugman *really* eat the shit they defecate; they really believe they are saving everyone).

The economy and the revolutions and wars we're about to see do not work like a machine; they work like a fucking annoying, unpredictable cat.

Best of luck in your future endeavors.

half_a_billion - the reality is a combination of both. The net worth of the intergenerational families that make up the .001% (Rothchild, Saxe-Coburg Gotha, Rockefeller) is an ovewhelming share. The reality is that many of these think tanks, organizations and institutions exist and are indeed created as a means of maintaining longevity to the existing power paradigm. Humanity would have been off of fossil fuels long ago, if maintaining control of energy wasn't necessary to maintaining control of the general direction of populations. It is naive to conclude that these individuals control entire industries and central banks, and not in turn recognize that out of this absolute power, these individuals can also steer the course of humanity.

They are merely engaging is a behaviorial trait of all organisms; self-preservation.

Ultimately, this is self-defeating even for them, as they are preventing evolution of the species. They are advancing their own physical evolution at the sacrifice of our collective spiritual evolution. Humanity simply cannot allow a self-serving small cabal of inbred kleptocrats to hold back human progress and possibility.

Is this supposed to be a wake-up call to the elites? Maybe it's a way of saying, to the elites, "Get with the program, guys, we're losing our edge."

I am curious--why does use of the bold button, or italics, or any other form cause you anguish?  I wonder if I am too old to be irritated by the use of bold lettering--that is, does it matter more to younger people who learned, early on in their use of the internet that using bold or caps or italics were a really big deal?  Because, I have to say, I could care less if he uses the bold button.  Heck, he could use bolded, italicized, underlined, capital, script and it wouldn't bother me.

here we go....

I just said, there's this Godzilla entity, in which Banks&CBs-Government-BigCorporation-Justice-MilitaryIC-MSM-congress have fucking morphed into a single entity.

But that's that.  They can't enginner anything years down the line.  I'm sure China would today like to go back to 2000 and buy gold, instead of toilet IOUs.  Same applies to Germany, Spain, Italy, who are all getting a big "Sorry, what gold?, please send any complaints to our nearest Aircraft Carrier".   I'm sure that cocksucker Greenspan, if he could go back, would be more hawkish, and there would have been less debt and less bubbles.  Maybe even that scumbag GWB wouldn't invade Iraq if he could go back in time.

The fact is, the Bilderbergs/Jews/Towelheads/Rothchilds/insert-fave-scapegoat here cannot "plan and engineer" anything 7-10 years down the line.

We're living under INVERTED TOTALITARIANISM and Aaron Swartz in but one proof of that: kid steped in front of some profits to be made.

I have two major points here:

i) WE ARE ALL IN RAGE; this is understandable, because we are living in T-1 and when T=0, this shit will really start.  But the scapegoating to the Bilderbergs/etc or even individuals "who are engineering it all" is enormously simplyfing, distracting, and simply doesn't reflect the entire story.  Of course, Bernanke et al deserve what they will eventually get--but they don't know it.  They truly believe they are "doing good".

ii) Imagine walking into a huge palace, like the Taj Mahal.  Imagine there are rare paintings, sculptures, giant halls, the whole thing projects wealth, stability, and awe.  Imagine that the building has stood the test of time, it was there way before you were born.  Imagine that there's this guy, who everyone in there thinks is "smart and benevolent".  Imagine this guy receives you and has a great conversation and he tells you stories of glory and he assures you that the future will be just fine.  Imagine that everyone around you tells you afterwards: "see?  Wasn't he great?"

Now here's the kicker: This is HOW EVERY BUREAUCRAT FEELS.  Inside the Fed, inside the White House, inside congress, inside the BoJ, inside the pentagon, inside the Italian prime minister's office, whatever-the-fuck-that-might-be.  The bureaucrats are surrounded by these humbling buildings, and all the people in there have passed some tests and found to be suitable for the job, and all of them believe that this "great institution" will last forever and, even if facing problems, that they will grasp the situation and, with all their skill, they will pass this test.  Humbled by a giant palace with a long history, humbled by the presence of a "smart & benevolent" leader, they really start to believe the stuff they're fed with.  IT TAKES ENORMOUS WORK, ENERGY, AND COURAGE TO CONFRONT THEM IN THEIR OWN HOUSE; TO CONFRONT THEIR GROUPTHINK. THIS IS WHAT RON PAUL DID AND NOBODY SEEMS ABLE TO DO NOW.

Even that cocksucer Bernanke: He's in awe of all his power in that "Great Institution"; all the TBTFs--also "Great Institutions" doing "God's work"--are sending him congratulatory notes on his "wonderful job", as is the "Great Institution" MSM (i.e., "The Atlantic"), as is the "Great Institution" of congress, as is the "Great Institution" where the Kenian lives.

I am not "spouting excuses"; I am just this random guy trying to figure out how the system really works.  Finding scapegoats is easy, but, to me, that is too-thin-a-theory.

This idea that they are "engineering something for the next 10 years" is as far from reality as "Kill Ferdinand and the US gets involved".

These people are thieves who justify their actions with gibberish.  I do not give a fuck if their gibberish is thought out 7 to 10 years; I just don’t give a fuck.

Some of them prolong wars and death because they want the debt clock run up and more political power.  They have been playing this game for centuries.  I read about the politics of the 17 century and it’s the same shit as today.  They have been around the block; they know what they are doing.

When the fiat dies so do they.  Kill the mother fuckers.  What sympathy did they ever show for the soldiers in Vietnam?  That mother fucking weasel McNamara prolonged that war and then joined the World Bank.

Iraq?  Afghanistan.  Deliberately creating and prolonging wars for political bull shit.

Gordo, they're Luciferian globalists. They belong to secret societies. World domination has always been the goal of these societies, and what is in charge is a Luciferian system.

I'm not sure what problems you have with the word "globalist" or with defining it, but it simply means individuals who want a one-world government with exceptional powers over individuals and nation-states.

Is that too tough for you to comprehend? There are pages and pages of their own statements that back this up. It's not like it's a secret.

Some of the smartest people I've ever encountered are on these pages, and so are some of the dumbest. Guess which one you are.

they are lucifarian for the simple reason that religion works; religion has been used historically to mobilize people sub-groups into action. This also allows them to pursue a strongly motivated calling, while justifying secrecy. All religions provide a powerful, internal motivational force. One is driven to pursue collective goals for a greater cause, They view Lucifer the same way Christians view Jesus; persecuted and deserving of repentant servitude. Get it out of your head that mystery school practitioners understand their intent as evil. In fact they view themselves as protectors of good and light.

Same bullshit - different denomination.

True spiritual evolution is a collective effort, and not possible by only a few in veiled secrecy.

reminds me of a joke:

An Irishman goes into the confessional box after years of being away from  the Church.
He is amazed to find a fully equipped bar with Guinness on tap. On the other
wall is a dazzling array of the finest cigars and chocolates.
Then the priest comes in.

Excitedly, the Irishman begins..."Father, forgive me, for it's been a very long  time since I've been to confession, but I must first admit that the confessional  box is much more inviting than it used to be."

While I appreciate your point (that they don't see themselves as evil), I disagree that it's the "same bullshit." There is lots of evidence for the Christian story. Religion is one thing; faith is another; and truth is yet another.

I do respect your opinion, and the LUciferian system is most definitely a means of controlling the elite.

Ghordius, so you think that elections are fair to the common person?

That's blue pill stuff.  Blue pill seems real, but it is not real.

Elections are rigged to favor Biggest Finance Capital and it is right out in the open.

First, you have to understand how Debt Money Tyranny robs from society and gives to the criminals who run that fraud.

Debt Money Tyranny

Now, WHO can rain down more money these criminals who operate Debt Money Tryanny?

Nobody.  It is basic 5th grade math.

$500 million is the cost of a Presidential run.  WHO can put in more than Biggest Finance Capital?  Nobody.

$30 million every 2 or 6 years for Congress...  WHO can put in more than Biggest Finance Capital?  Nobody.

That's why nobody in Congress or the Presidency has explained how a fraud based on 5th grade math is bankrupting and enslaving the country.

Biggest Finance Capital simply won't finance anyone who says such things.

Those that go astray; Smile, meet the CIA.

WHO finances billion dollar media?  You?  Me?  Your neighbor?

No, Biggest Finance Capital does - NOBODY CAN OUTBID THEM.

Are they going to lend money to someone who will reveal Debt Money Tyranny?  Nope - that's basic Econ 101 at play.

Will they outbid anyone who tries to finance such an effort?  Absolutely - it is worth trillions upon trillions to them, not to mention their freedom outside a jail cell for life.

How do people get elected?

The money lever and the major media lever.

Who controls those levers?  Biggest Finance Capital.

Now do you wonder why the common person is having the debts of Biggest Finance Capital shoved down their throats all the while being told how the Geithner is cursinig the gang banksters who work for Biggest Finance Capital?

Do you still wonder how the Fed can break its Section 2A mandate and criminally blow the world's largest credit bubble (that implode 100% of the time)?

Do you still wonder why the media repeats the "dual mandate" lies emanating from the Fed?

Do you still wonder why the laws "governing" the Fed HAVE NO PENALTIES for breaking the law?

Do you still wonder why Biggest Finance Capital operatives can commit crimes unfettered by mere serf laws?  Take Jon Corzinie funneling billions in private cash account money to JP Morgan or JP Morgan bribing Jefferson County officials or the mega banks that launder the $100s of billions of drug cartel money and even lease the planes for the drug cartels.

Read the article.  No money was never reported recovered, yet they know exactly where it is.  A serf who takes out $10k is reported for potential investigation.  The only person let go was the whistle blower.  No criminal charges were levied.

Note the name of the drug cartel - Sinaloa.

Now do an search for "Fast and Furious Sinaloa" and take a gander at all the tidbits that come up.

Is your "red pill lightbulb" glimmering yet?

Oh, and Afghanistan is the #1 poppy producer and marijuana producer on planet Earth.  Random chance or Opium Wars 2.0?

Grown up people know that the politicians who run for office are selected and weeded out, not by the American people, but by Biggest Finance Capital financiers and media.

Tails Biggest Finance Capital wins, Heads society loses.

Oh, I'm seriously grown up about this, so no need to "go there."

The Sahdows of Power: The Council on Foreign Relations and the Decline of America

"At the end of the war of 1914, it became clear that the organization of this system had to be greatly extended... the tasks was entrusted to Lionel Curtis who established, in England and each dominion, a front organization to the existing local Round Table Group. This front organization called the Royal Institute of International Affairs, had as its nucleus in each area the existing submerged Round Table Group. In New York it was known as the Council on Foreign Relations, and was a front for J. P. Morgan and Company.... In fact, the original plans for the Royal Institute of International Affairsand the Council on Foreign Relations were drawn up at Paris." [Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope, pp.951-952]

"The powers of financial capitalism [aka Biggest Finance Capital] had another far reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements, arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences. The apex of the system was the Bank for International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the worlds' central banks which were themselves private corporations. The growth of financial capitalism made possible a centralization of world economic control and use of this power for the direct benefit of financiers and the indirect injury of all other economic groups." Tragedy and Hope: A History of The World in Our Time (Macmillan Company, 1966,) Professor Carroll Quigley of Georgetown University

"The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can "throw the rascals out" at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy."  - Carrol Quigley, Tragedy and Hope

"The Council on Foreign Relations is the American branch of a society which originated in England ... [and] ... believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established." Dr. Carroll Quigley

"I know of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years in the early 1960s to examine its papers and secret records. I have no aversion to it or to most of its aims and have, for much of my life, been close to it and to many of its instruments. I have objected, both in the past and recently, to a few of its policies ... but in general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown, and I believe its role in history is significant enough to be known."
Dr. Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope

"Today, the solitary inventor, tinkering in his shop, has been overshadowed by task forces of scientists in laboratories and testing fields. In the same fashion, the free university, historically the fountainhead of free ideas and scientific discovery, has experienced a revolution in the conduct of research. Partly because of the huge costs involved, a government contract becomes virtually a substitute for intellectual curiosity. For every old blackboard there are now hundreds of new electronic computers.

The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money [aka Biggest Finance Capital] is ever present – and is gravely to be regarded.

Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite."
- President Eisenhower, farewell address

"I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men." -Woodrow Wilson

"Gentlemen! I too have been a close observer of the doings of the Bank of the United States. I have had men watching you for a long time, and am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its charter I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let you go on, you will ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers and thieves. I have determined to rout you out, and by the Eternal, (bringing his fist down on the table) I will rout you out!"
- From the original minutes of the Philadelphia committee of citizens sent to meet with President Jackson (February 1834), according to Andrew Jackson and the Bank of the United States (1928) by Stan V. Henkels - online PDF

"The bank, Mr. van Buren, is trying to kill me.  I will kill the bank."
- Andrew Jackson

The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government of the U.S. since the days of Andrew Jackson.
- Franklin D. Roosevelt

"In saving the Union, I have destroyed the Republic.  Before me I have the Confederacy, which I loathe.  But behind me I have the bankers, which I fear."
- Abraham Lincoln

"Whoever controls the volume of money in any country is absolute master of all industry and commerce".
- James Garfield On July 2, 1881 Garfield was shot, he dies on September 19.

The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the people versus the banks.
- Lord Acton

History records that the money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to maintain their control over governments by controlling the money and its issuance.
- James Madison

When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes. Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain.
- Napoleon Bonaparte

“This Act establishes the most gigantic trust on earth.…When the President signs this Act, the invisible government by the Money Power, proven to exist by the Money Trust Investigation, will be legalized.…The money power overawes the legislative and executive forces of the Nation and of the States. I have seen these forces exerted during the different stages of this bill.…” (Congressman Charles A. Lindbergh, referring to the act which established the Federal Reserve. Congressional Record, Vol. 51, p. 1446. December 22, 1913.)

“Under the Federal Reserve Act, panics are scientifically created. The present panic is the first scientific one, worked out as we figure a mathematical equation.” (Congressman Charles A. Lindbergh, The Economic Pinch, 1921.)

“It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning. The one aim of these financiers is world control by the creation of inextinguishable debt.” Henry Ford

"The anti-Rockefeller focus of these otherwise incompatible political positions
[across the political spectrum] owes much to Populism. 'Populists' believe in conspiracies, and one of the most enduring is that a secret group of international
bankers and capitalists, and their minions, control the world's economy. Because of my name and prominence as the head of the Chase for many years, I have earned
the distinction of 'conspirator in chief' from some of these people"?.Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States,
characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure -
one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

Out of the Matrix for a moment.

"and yet mainly used for US domestic issues"

What do you mean by "US issues?"

I'm from the US and I don't see how bailing out gangster banksters benefits me, do you?  In fact, I'm being looted raw.

How does it benefit me when the mega banks launder $100s of billions in drug money, no criminal charges are filed and the only person dismissed is the whistle blower who said he became unwelcomed after blowing the whistle?  Oh, the bank ran the planes for the drug cartels?

How do I benefit when the government tries to disarm law abiding citizens of riflesw that kill about 350 people a year - a death tolld of less than 2 days worth of people killed by FDA approved drugs?

How do I benefit from having toxic waste fluoride put into my water against the wishes of the EPA scientists union?

How do I benefit from being force, at gun point, to finiance a bunch of mass murders?

How do I benefit from said mass murderers monitoring this message to you?

I don't benefit, yet I'm associated with the "US".

You are using the wrong term to communicate.  Either that you have no idea what you are talking about.

The "globalists" or NWO have hijacked America and are using its wealth, its blood and its name to gangster bankster r*pe and pillage other nations so they can set up their Opium Wars 2.0 operation in places like Afghanistan.

In addition, they are waging financial terrorism on the people of America and Europe via Debt Money Tyranny:

I'm sick of these people and I'd argue I'm way more "US" than they are as I believe in the Constitution and they hate it with all their being and so they have criminally eliminated it.  I live today because my neo-Fuhrer decided not to murder me with his claimed powers.

That's not good for me.

I wish my countrymen and women weren't such chicken chit shumps, but they are.  More an dmore are waking up because real Americans are sounding the alarm.

It isn't "Obama," it is the criminals that run America and control both Obama and Romney.

They hate us all!

I think the problem is assuming the TPTB require "precision" and specific events for their plans to come to fruition.

The environment in Europe in 1914 was certainly ripe for a huge war - the armaments were there, the navies were there, the treaties were there, the nationalism and petty jealousies were there.

It only needed a spark and the TPTB are nothing if not patient.

Rather than saying "TPTB engineer all crises" a better way to think of it is that spend a lot of time analyzing possible outcomes and leverage the one they want.

Gosh, what a coincidence that "Fuck You" Bernanke was named Fed chairman in 2006 just before the whole ball of wax started to come undone...

I think 1/2B is saying NOT that no one is responsible.  He is saying that people like Bernanke and his ilk ARE responsible, and should be held accountable, but that they are doing what THEY believe to be right and good and that THEY do not understand the consequences of their actions.  They are responsible and should be held accountable, but they are NOT INTENTIONALLY evil in their actions.  They THINK they can manipulate events and make the world a better place.  What they fail to understand is that the more they act, the worse they make things because their actions have been on the wrong glidepath all along.

I do really like your "TWO types," however.  Probably precisely correct analysis in the end.

Gooch, the fraud thay the Fed has a "dual mandate" was engineered.

Do you believe the Fed has a dual mandate?

I have news for you, there is no spoon... or dual mandate.  It doesn't exist.

Search "Federal Reserve Act Section 2A" and read it.

The law says that credit and monetary aggregates are to be "commensurate with" with ptential GDP.  That's it.

Did the Fed comply with the law?  Are you kidding?

The Fed took monetary and credit aggregates "exponential to" GDP.  Unless "exponential to" is equivalent to "commensurate with" in your mind, the law was broken.

This is the biggest news item of any given day.

The Fed Broke the Law, Lied to Cover it Up and The Fed is the Root Cause of our Financial Troubles could be the headline.

How is the media controlled to cover up this trivial story.  How is the education system controlled to cover this up? How are politicians controlled to cover this up?

This is a 3 decade long crime spree!

“In the technotronic society the trend would seem to be towards the aggregation of the individual support of millions of uncoordinated citizens, easily within the reach of magnetic and attractive personalities exploiting the latest communications techniques to manipulate emotions and control reason.”
? Zbigniew Brzezinski, Between Two Ages: America's Role in the Technetronic Era

"The word 'Establishment' is a general term for the power elite in international finance, business and government, who wield most of the power regardless of who is in the White House.  Most people are unaware of the existence of this 'legitimate Mafia.'  Yet the power of the Establishment makes itself felt from the professor who seeks a foundation grant to the candidate for a cabinet post or State Dept. job.  It affects the nation's polices in almost every area."  (Granddaughter: Edith Kermit Roosevelt, 1926-2003, daughter of Archibald Roosevelt and Grace Lockwood Roosevelt).

Unless they aren't.

The minions who actually push the paper are forked.  That's all part of the OWNERS' plan.

The OWNER CLASS doesn't push paperwork.  They aren't forked, they will be richly rewarded as they turn their trillions in debt notes to actual hard assets...  meaning your community's stuff.

They bust the economy, people can't pay their debts, the physical is transferred to their TBTF&J corporate fronts, whatever they don't confiscate through banqueroute (the French word for bankruptcy), they will buy up for pennies on the dollar with all the trillions they are looting right now.

When it is time for the Great Multiple Claims Extinguishment, they will protect their monetary assets and the citizens will be picked so clean the vultures will be frozen in a state of awe.

Then they will buy up most of what they didn't seize for pennies on the dollar.

Hyperinflation will be a foot note for most, but it will come when it is time to balance the books, proclaim that "capitalism failed" and then the criminals coronate themselves as the de facto world government.

Either you have a bizarre definition of "forked" or you might want want to think this through in a bit more depth.

To me the article was good except for the implied conclusion that the end result would be as planned. Just like you mention in your comment.

But the author does bring to light a number of things that are taking place due to greed and control to deliver wealth into the hands of the elite (not Jews as you mention).

Also the mention of TV shows was great because the shows on TV today are easily back engineered to arrive at a conclusion. Whether it is intentional or simply because most of the script writers are well of what is taking place or they are writing because they are paid to write that crap is not relevant. The media is reflecting a set of conditions that are apparently based on corporate/government interests.

From your comment I assume you believe that the institutions mentioned are somehow Jewish in nature--whatever that means. I'm not sure how the author's statement about Nazi's relates to that premise.

Anyhow I liked the article and your comment because together they presented more meaningful information than otherwise possible.

Yes, it's all going to the parasite elite--unless there's a revolution.  What I'm ranting about is the trivial scapegoating into one group or another (e.g., people blaming "group X" for everything), and the idea that this "precise engineering for screwing up the people" for, say, 2020 takes place or even works.

I'm not ranting against conspiracies--anyone with a brain can see they're there; or at least can google Corzine, Libor, "The justice dept has to measure if prosecuting will hurt the economy", etc.

But even "the elite" has shades of gray.  There are 4 quadrants:  Parasite Poor (sucking the tits), Parasite Elite (TBTF, Military Industrial Complex, Government-sponsored sectors).  They are and will continue to benefit more and more from the robbery of the *productive poor* and the *productive elite*.

Please allow me:

You make it sound like there are NO conspiracies and the mere suggesting of them is scapegoating, ignorance or anti-semitism. Yes, there are. Allow me to write a slightly higher educated format:

There are TWO types in ZH:

Type 1:

The intelligent ones who graduated from High School or at least obtained their GED. Very likely college and post graduate degress are the norm. But many are just blue collar workers. Farmers out on the range working real things to make real products. They don't mess around, but they'll be your best friend in  hard times as well as the good if you're there for them. These people understand history and the correlaton between cause-effect and cui bono. These are the brave that don't bend over to PC bullshit, or stop from hurting someone's feelings by calling them a liar when they're caught  just because they happen to be fat, ugly or Jewish. Just because there are alot of fat, ugly and Jewish liars in power must be a coincidence. They instictively understand that the elites can purchase the best minds money can buy, have unofficial high tech systems at their disposal and can do things that no ordinary mortal could possibly believe could be done by a select few.

Type 2:

The ones that refuse to believe anything but the butterfly theory of social-economic events. They're the ones that still believe some asshole blew JFK away, but our lax gun laws allowed another crazy in love with JFK to gun him down. They love to call those that have the audacity to suggest a cover up 'scape-goating' morons that are annoying as unpredicatable cats. Actually, most cats are annoying, so I might give that to them. Although type 2 individuals have  a GED, most have gone on to higher learning so they are indoctrinated in officialdom group-think policy with a superior "Prove it Moron!" attitude that exemplifies a strawman/circular arguement, but they wouldn't call it that. It is sometimes difficult to understand type 2 logic or rants primarily because they usually have the professor or their superior's dick in their mouth when they talk. Although most (superior) type 1 types understand that there are indeed, unintended black-swan events that occur during a conspiracy op, type 2 (inferior) ones would make that their coup de grace' in their defense, saying that  type 1s were just paranoid, hypocritical tin-foil hat wears and still maintain their type 2 belief that black swans happen all the time and refuse to believe that truely horrific black swan event occur because the dominoes were already set in place for them to happen-by individuals-on purpose.

Best of luck during Super Bowl Weekend Dude!

There are conspiracies everywhere; Libor (Banks); TARP (Treasury + Fed + Congress); Corzine (Justice + Government + Congress); "TBTF can't be prosecuted; will hurt the economy" (Government + Justice); Aaron Swartz (Big Corp + Justice); etc. As George Carlin said, "Interests converge". Things folow from there.  My rant is mostly about the idea of some group "precise engineering" of this robbery, with perfect foresight of all the consequences.  They are as prone to the laws of unintended consequences as we are.

My type 2 is the usual one-line comment when someone scapegoats the problem to some group....  Your type 2 seems to me to be the more liberal hypocrites who want to power their macbook pros but are "against coal" and "against nuclear", etc.  Kinda paraphrasing Mark Twain, they want the beef but they want to bring down the slaughterhouse.

You have spent a lot of words and that is your bottom line? Who here has said that? Perfect foresight of ALL consequences? Not even Alex
Jones believes that. U are missing a big point and arguing with a ghost.

That is why we care, it's why we are all here. We know there is no guaranteed outcome, they know it - we know it. These groups do exist, they do conspire, and they CAN be very precise. Don't down play it - don't under estimate them. Democide anyone?

They do know how to engineer chaos or just simply hijack it.

And i quote.

"" In July, Zero Hedge joined Halogen Network, an online-advertising company, which has placed Delta Airlines and Forex Trading ads on the blog’s pages. Halogen plans on conducting a reader survey for the site in the coming month. Greg Shove, founder and CEO of Halogen, says it will likely show the same demographics as other successful financial blogs: men between 35 and 55 who make $200,000 and up a year—a pretty juicy target audience. Zero Hedge could potentially rake in $25,000 a month in ad revenue alone."

This arguement is going no where....who am i to interject but a marginally educated blue collar business owner. i see the answer as somewhere down the middle. HAB is correct in that the elites can't predict market forces and results of their actions with great precision because it is made up of a collection of individuals. They, in my opinion are more like a sheep herder who granted, can't control every individual in his flock all the time like for example predict when a wolf will present itself, or a group will break off or the disruption of a thunder stom. in the end he will ultimately bring his sheep to paddock for shearing regardless of what path he used.

Spot on HAB - could not have said it better!

Our brains are "pattern recognition belief engines" (cant remember who said it - Dan Dennet?) and our need to understand things through some lens or other is unavoidable.

I have come to the conclusion that A) the world is a complex adaptive system and B) as such it is utterly inpredicatable (perhaps not even 'understandable')

There are those who spend their lives shafting others, or generally doing harm because of their sociopathic tendencies, welcome to planet earth, but this is very different than saying there is a coordinated global conspiracy.

As a brilliant colleague once said to me "you know you are in trouble when you start believing your own propadanda".

Some very good observations. The biggest conspiracy is always that of arse (English spelling) covering & pretending to know whay you're doing when you don't. To imbue the current crop of leaders (in every & any sphere of human action) with supernormal powers is really a kind of faith - like real faith, this faith centres on the idea that someone/anyone/divine being realy, really knows what's going on, how things work & your place in the scheme of things. Ironally, those who curse & scowl the most about the (supposed) 'Illuminati' of our age & profess most hatred, actually need those objects of loathing the most - how would god define himself in a world without devils?

To imagine also, that calculations so fine could be made on subjects with trillions more variables & inputs (i.e. the course of human affairs)  than the relatively simple global weather system (which still eludes even the highest concentrations of computing resource to this day..) demonstrates yet more faith, or maybe need, that someone really knows & controls - it's a child's view of parents - and many never really come off the teat.

Enslavethechild said: "Global Martial Law coming soon to your neighborhood."

Correct.  The first shot of WWIII was fired yesterday in Syria by Israel.  We are currently in the war.  Each nation: Iran, Russia, Syria, US, is busily positioning it's chess pieces as rapidly as possible.  Mali, Turkish Patriot missiles, 'explosions' in Iranian nuclear facilities, sales of F-16's to Egypt, Russian warships being placed strategically, Iskander missile's here. Period.

Now, you don't believe for a SECOND that the USA is going to let the sheeple run around free while the hot war is taking place.  They will try to take our guns.  They will put martial law in place to control our movements.  They will watch us and kill us with drones.

As to the thesis of the post, there is little doubt that a "ONE WORLD ORDER' is the desired objective of the PTB.  It will probably be achieved, at least in name.  I don't see how it can endure, however.  The human spirit is not one that can be domineered.  MOST people relish their freedom.  For a time, the NWO may take root;  there will always be dissent, 'terrorism', freedom-fighters and people who fight against the powers.  Energy supplies worldwide are dwindling, food and water become ever more scarce.  Kunstler postulates that everything will become more 'local' and states that nations will have to scale-down their economies, and nations will need to rebuild after this next war.  I personally don't see how anyone will be able to maintain a worldwide grip on humanity for any length of time.

"perception of control" - the rudder metaphor implies one ship and one rudder. but one ship could have two rudders and 300 rowers. and in fact it's a lot of ships

which breaks the metaphor, because in reality you can be part of many groups that have different degrees of "control", on many different planes of action

you act as a consumer, as a citizen, as a voter, as an economic actor in production, as one in financial matters and some act at different levels of government, in different lobbys, syndicates, etc., with various levels of effectiveness

there are soooo many agendas on this world, and I personally know people who have conflicting agenda points even in their personal matters

The author overlooks one key aspect that gives some (not full) credibility to Lynchpin theory:

What if Rand is not in cahoots but in competition with Tavistock Institute, the Heritage Foundation, the Bilderberg Group etc ?

In the same capacity that merchant banks were compelled to increase risk, drag racing towards the cliff, because they could not be seen, quarter over quarter, to be lagging behind their competitor merchant banks, we cannot assume that, say, the Bildebergers are 100% aligned with Rand et al and that certainly while they are all murderously intent on shaping the world to their vision, there is some argy-bargy between these groups as to what that vison and outcome will be.

In that scenario, increasing complexity is used not only tofoil the public but to foil the opposition - tactical leverage, if you will.

and in that capacity, things can get out of control - even for the Bilderbergers and Rands of this world.

This episode outlines how the US government attempted to use systems analysis and game theory to develop strategies to control the nuclear threat and nuclear arms race during the Cold War.

"The focus is on the men of the on whom Dr Strangelove was allegedly based: Herman Kahn, Albert Wohlstetter and John von Neumann. These were people who believed that the world could be controlled by the scientific manipulation of fear - mathematical analysts employed by the American RAND Corporation. In the end, their visions were the stuff of science fiction fantasy.

Features several interview segments with Sam Cohen outlining his experiences at RAND. He is the inventor of the neutron bomb and was with RAND 1947-1975.
Also features George Ball, the Under-Secretary of State in the Kennedy administration 1961-1966, and William Gorham,[1] RAND Corporation Asst. Sec. Dept. Health, Education & Welfare 1956-68.

Also features an interview with science fiction author Larry Niven, who was instrumental in the creating of the Star Wars policies of Ronald Reagan".

Surely, I won that bet. Instead of America conquering the "Communist Dictatorship" we are also becoming a mafia state.

That actually happened and I should know since I'm an alien. We deactivated all the nuclear warheads in your arsenals so that no nuclear warfare could happen again. After the US vaporized two Japanese cities we thought your world powers were likely to bring the planet to a radioactive state of uninhabitability. This nuclear mess is too time consuming and actually energy intensive to fix; so we simply deactivated all the warheads in the countries with significant nuclear arsenals. This activity was observed by your many observers who have seen our " UFO'S " over nuclear sites. Deactivation of unstable nuclear materials is simple once you can focus the energy to mass reactions ( E= MC2 ) as Einstein pointed out. It's actually alchemical: lead to gold, or rather uranium to lead. Enjoy yourselves people of the earth.

Regarding the Rand Corporation, Herman Kahn, formerly of the Rand Corporation and a member of the CFR, founded and directed the Hudson Institute that produced the Report from Iron Mountain released in 1966. It was commissioned three years prior by the Department of Defense under Defense Secretary Robert McNamara, also a CFR member.

The purpose of the study was to explore various ways government can perpetuate itself into power, stabilizing itself by controlling its citizens and preventing them from rebelling.

The major conclusion was that war has been the only reliable means to achieve that goal.

According to the report:

“The war system not only has been essential to the existence of nations as independent political entities, but has been equally indispensable to the stable political structure. Without it, no government has ever been able to obtain acquiescence in its ‘legitimacy,’ or right to rule its society… The organization of society for the possibility of war is its principal political stabilizerIt has enabled societies to maintain necessary class distinctions, and it has insured the subordination of the citizens to the state by virtue of the residual war powers inherent in the concept of nationhood.”

Peace implied total and general disarmament of all nations under a world government disciplined by a world army. Military action by the world army would be called peace-keeping operations. Dissidents would face heavy fines for “hate crimes”; those with persistent politically incorrect attitudes would be placed in forced-labor battalions.

Alex Jones is fear porn producer number 1 - if you believe him than you had already about 100 of WW3.

I am very suspicious of people who attack Jones, calling him a gov collaborator, with absolutely no evidence.

I was follower or Alex Jones for about 2 years, but there was something wrong with it, I felt agrresive but still after his info felt that there is nothing I can do - ou mighty Cabal works by their plan and no-one can stop them. I saw at Druge that even mighty Alex Jones got TSAed when he was going to Pierr Morgan.

I don't collect evidence that can be easily manipulated in any way it's presenter wants. I don't do that. I'am not able to check those kind of evidance. I have switched my tactics to other view.

I look not what people tell and do, but what is the result of it. And result of it was that Alex Jones raiting went up - so if Cabal wants to controll both sides than now their created "alternative" side has more power - and will be used more effective. Like for fear mongering - I remmbered how even I was so blindly following that though that anyminute soon US will attack Iran, there was "green lights" for many times, you maybe don't believe that we create what we think and add our energy - but it's true - it works. So Alex was generating lot of energy to this scenario - he is fear producer number one. And he is discrediting real opposition and taking away those people that is awaken and are aware of Cabal. He is directing them in unproductive dirrection.

Also you should know that there is no way to appear for real opposition on Cabal TV channel LIVE.

But this is the understanding that comes only each individual in his time - for now - there is nothing I can say to you to convince it's true. It's your life - you have to work thing out your self - or it won't be any worth of it.

Can someone provide more info that supports the author's claim that the Heritage Foundation is a socialist organization?

Going once... going twice...

Neoconservatives, unlimited-big-government "conservatives" whose roots trace back to the Democrat Party and Trotsky, have been supportive of the Heritage Foundation and while it may not be as “neoconservative” as the American Enterprise Institute, Heritage has been a strong supporter of American war policy, the “war on terror,” and powerful pro-Israel policies.

Among the Foundation’s six principal staff members and advisers is included Midge Decter, the spouse of the founder of neoconservatism, Zionist Norman Podhoretz, who has called for World War III.

Heritage was instrumental in crafting the Bush Administration’s military command for Africa aimed at shaping events on that continent.

According to Right Web: Tracking militarists efforts to influence U.S. foreign policy: “Heritage has also echoed hawkish discourse on Iran in its call for taking a tougher stance against the country, arguing that containment of Iran is doomed to fail. In a February 2011 ‘backgrounder’ on the ‘Iran threat,’ Heritage’s Theodore Bromund and James Phillips argued, ‘Instead of pursuing a policy of containment, which would be a policy in name only, the U.S. should keep the military option alive, defend itself and its allies, and seek both to weaken the regime’s economic base and to empower and encourage its domestic adversaries.’

As to Israel: "Heritage scholars promote strengthening 'anti-terror' ties with Israel and often defend Israel in the face of U.S. criticism of its actions. In an April 2010 op-ed criticizing Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton for publicly lambasting Israel, Heritage’s Feulner wrote, 'The United States is engaged in a long war against extremists. We can use all the help we can get. Too bad the Obama administration can’t seem to tell which countries are with us, and which aren’t.'"

Yeh, well neoconservatism is NOT socialism by any definition of the word.

Why is it that right-wingers think that "government" = "socialism"? Don't you know that words actually mean things, and that when you use them incorrectly you diminish your credibility?

Thanks for the response, JR.  Interesting stuff and I'll be doing further research.  As far as the Heritage Foundation's support of Israel... I agree with it.

Irrelevant. Stalin said who counts the vote matters more than who votes. See Diebold for the latest example. See rigged inflation figures. Rigged gdp figures. Rigged jobless figures. Rigged everything in this statist QEternity one world fiction.

Record food stamps. Record unemployment. Plunging real growth; the world in a New Depression since 2008 when the banksters miscalculated and blew up their own accounts...then got their political pets to bail them out with other people's money: the people's money and labor.

It is all fascist: for the few at the cost of the many.
