Guest Post: The Linchpin Lie: How Global Collapse Will Be Sold To The Masses

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Brandon Smith of Alt-Market blog,

In our modern world there exist certain institutions of power.  Not government committees, alphabet agencies, corporate lobbies, or even standard military organizations; no, these are the mere “middle-men” of power.  The errand boys.  The well paid hitmen of the global mafia.  They are not the strategists or the decision makers.

Instead, I speak of institutions which introduce the newest paradigms.  Who write the propaganda.  Who issue the orders from on high.  I speak of the hubs of elitism which have initiated nearly every policy mechanism of our government for the past several decades.  I am talking about the Council On Foreign Relations, the Tavistock Institute, the Heritage Foundation (a socialist organization posing as conservative), the Bilderberg Group, as well as the corporate foils that they use to enact globalization, such as Monsanto, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, the Carlyle Group, etc.

Many of these organizations and corporations operate a revolving door within the U.S. government.  Monsanto has champions, like Donald Rumsfeld who was on the board of directors of its Searle Pharmaceuticals branch, who later went on to help the company force numerous dangerous products including Aspartame through the FDA.  Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan have a veritable merry-go-round of corrupt banking agents which are appointed to important White House and Treasury positions on a regular basis REGARDLESS of which party happens to be in office.  Most prominent politicians are all members of the Council on Foreign Relations, an organization which has openly admitted on multiple occasions that their goal is the destruction of U.S. sovereignty and the formation of a “one world government” or “supranational union” (their words, not mine).

However, one organization seems to rear its ugly head at the forefront of the most sweeping mass propaganda operations of our time, and has been linked to the creation of the most atrocious military methodologies, including the use of false flag events.  I am of course referring to the Rand Corporation, a California based “think tank” whose influence reaches into nearly every sphere of our society, from politics, to war, to entertainment.

The Rand Corporation deals in what I would call “absolute gray”.  The goal of the group from its very inception was to promote a social atmosphere of moral ambiguity in the name of personal and national priority.  They did this first through the creation of “Rational Choice Theory”; a theory which prescribes that when making any choice, an individual (or government) must act as if balancing costs against benefits to arrive at an action that maximizes personal advantage.  Basically, the ends justify the means, and moral conscience is not a factor to be taken seriously if one wishes to be successful.

Hilariously, rational choice theory has been attacked in the past by pro-socialist (collectivist) critics as “extreme individualism”; a philosophy which gives us license to be as “self serving” as possible while feeling patriotic at the same time.  In reality, the socialists should have been applauding Rand Corporation all along.

What Rand had done through its propaganda war against the American people was to infuse the exact culture of selfishness needed to push the U.S. towards the socialist ideal.  At the onset of any communist or national socialist society (sorry socialists, but they do indeed come from the same collectivist mindset), the masses are first convinced to hand over ultimate power to the establishment in order to safeguard THEMSELVES, not others.  That is to say, the common collectivist man chooses to hand over his freedoms and participate in totalitarianism not because he wants what is best for the world, but because he wants what is best for himself, and he believes servitude to the system will get him what he wants with as little private sacrifice as possible (you know, except for his soul…).

The psychologist Carl Jung notes in his observations of collectivism in Nazi Germany and Stalinist Russia that most citizens of those nations did not necessarily want the formation of a tyrannical oligarchy, but, they went along with it anyway because they feared for their own comfort and livelihoods.  Many a German supported the Third Reich simply because they did not want to lose a cushy job, or a steady paycheck, or they liked that the “trains ran on time”.  Socialism is by far the most selfish movement in history, despite the fact that they claim to do what they do “for the greater good of the greater number”.

Rand also used Rational Choice Theory as a means to remove questions of principle from the debate over social progress.  Rational Choice propaganda commonly presents the target audience with a false conundrum.  A perfect example would be the hardcore propaganda based television show ‘24’ starring Kiefer Sutherland, in which a government “anti-terrorism” agent is faced with a controlled choice scenario in nearly every episode.  This choice almost always ends with the agent being forced to set aside his morals and conscience to torture, kill, and destroy without mercy, or, allow millions of innocents to die if he does not.

Of course, the real world does not work this way.  Life is not a chess game.   Avenues to resolution of any crisis are limited only by our imagination and intelligence, not to mention the immense number of choices that could be made to defuse a crisis before it develops.  Yet, Rand would like you to believe that we (and those in government) are required to become monstrous in order to survive.  That we should be willing to forgo conscience and justice now for the promise of peace and tranquility later.

This is the age old strategy of Centralization; to remove all choices within a system, by force or manipulation, until the masses think they have nothing left but the choices the elites give them.  It is the bread and butter of elitist institutions like Rand Corporation, and is at the core of the push for globalization.

In my studies on the developing economic disaster (or economic recovery depending on who you talk to) I have come across a particular methodology many times which set off my analyst alarm (or spidey-sense, if you will).  This latest methodology, called “Linchpin Theory”, revolves around the work of John Casti, a Ph.D. from USC, “complexity scientist” and “systems theorist”, a Futurist, and most notably, a former employee of Rand Corporation:

Casti introduces his idea of “Linchpin Theory” in his book “X-Events:  The Collapse Of Everything”, and what I found most immediately striking about the idea of “Linchpin Events” was how they offered perfect scapegoat scenarios for catastrophes that are engineered by the establishment.

Linchpin Theory argues that overt social, political, and technological “complexity” is to blame for the most destructive events in modern human history, and it is indeed an enticing suggestion for those who are uneducated and unaware of the behind the scenes mechanics of world events.  Casti would like you to believe that political and social tides are unguided and chaotic; that all is random, and disaster is a product of “chance” trigger events that occur at the height of a malfunctioning and over-complicated system.

What he fails to mention, and what he should well know being a member of Rand, is that global events do not evolve in a vacuum.  There have always been those groups who see themselves as the “select”, and who aspire to mold the future to there personal vision of Utopia.  It has been openly admitted in myriad official observations on historical events that such groups have had a direct hand in the advent of particular conflicts.

For instance, Casti would call the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria an “X-event”, or linchpin, leading to the outbreak of WWI, when historical fact recalls that particular crisis was carefully constructed with the specific mind to involve the U.S.

Norman Dodd, former director of the Committee to Investigate Tax Exempt Foundations of the U.S. House of Representatives, testified that the Committee was invited to study the minutes of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace as part of the Committee's investigation. The Committee stated:

"The trustees of the Foundation brought up a single question.  If it is desirable to alter the life of an entire people, is there any means more efficient than war.... They discussed this question... for a year and came up with an answer: There are no known means more efficient than war, assuming the objective is altering the life of an entire people.  That leads them to a question: How do we involve the United States in a war.  This was in 1909."

So, long before the advent of Ferdinand’s assassination, plans were being set in motion by globalist interests to draw the U.S. into a large scale conflict in order to “alter the life, or thinking, of the entire culture”.  When a group of people set out to direct thinking and opportunity towards a particular outcome, and the end result is a culmination of that outcome, it is obviously not coincidence, and it is definitely not providence.  It can only be called subversive design.

In the economic arena, one might say that the collapse of Lehman Bros. was the “linchpin” that triggered the landslide in the derivatives market which is still going on to this day.  However, the derivatives market bubble was a carefully constructed house of cards, deliberately created with the help of multiple agencies and institutions.  The private Federal Reserve had to artificially lower interest rates and inject trillions upon trillions into the housing market, the international banks had to invest those trillions into mortgages that they KNEW were toxic and likely never to be repaid.  The Federal Government had to allow those mortgages to then be chopped up into derivatives and resold on the open market.  The ratings agencies had to examine those derivatives and obviously defunct mortgages and then stamp them AAA.  The SEC had to ignore the massive fraud being done in broad daylight while sweeping thousands of formal complaints and whistle blowers under the rug.

This was not some “random” event caused by uncontrolled “complexity”.  This was engineered complexity with a devious purpose.  The creation of the derivatives collapse was done with foreknowledge, at least by some.  Goldman Sachs was caught red handed betting against their OWN derivatives instruments!  Meaning they knew exactly what was about to happen in the market they helped build!  This is called Conspiracy…

One might attribute Casti’s idea to a sincere belief in chaos, and a lack of insight into the nature of globalism as a brand of religion.  However, in his first and as far as I can tell only interview with Coast To Coast Radio, Casti promotes catastrophic “X-Events” as a “good thing” for humanity, right in line with the Rand Corporation ideology.  Casti, being a futurist and elitist, sees the ideas of the past as obsolete when confronted with the technological advancements of the modern world, and so, describes X-event moments as a kind of evolutionary “kickstart”, knocking us out of our old and barbaric philosophies of living and forcing us, through trial by fire, to adapt to a more streamlined culture.  The linchpin event is, to summarize Casti’s position, a culture’s way of “punishing itself” for settling too comfortably into its own heritage and traditions.  In other words, WE will supposedly be to blame for the next great apocalypse, not the elites…

I might suggest that Casti's attitude seems to be one of general indifference to human suffering in the wake of his "X-Events", and that he would not necessarily be opposed to the deaths of millions if it caused the "advancement" of humanity towards a particular ideology.  His concept of "advancement" and ours are likely very different, though.  I suspect that he is well aware that X-Events are actually tools at the disposal of elitists to generate the "evolution" he so desires, and that evolution includes a collectivist result.

With almost every major economy on the globe on the verge of collapse and most now desperately inflating, taxing, or outright stealing in order to hide their situation, with multiple tinderbox environments being facilitated in the Pacific with China, North Korea, and Japan, and in the Middle East and Africa with Egypt, Syria, Iran, Pakistan, Yemen, Mali, etc., there is no doubt that we are living in a linchpin-rich era.  It is inevitable that one or more of these explosive tension points will erupt and cause a chain reaction around the planet.  The linchpin and the chain reaction will become the focus of our epoch, rather than the men who made them possible in the first place.

Strangely, Casti’s theory was even recently featured in an episode of the ABC mystery/drama show “Castle”, called “Linchpin” (what else?), in which a writer turned detective uncovers a plot by a “shadow group” to use the research of the innocent Dr. Nelson Blakely (apparently based on Casti) to initiate a collapse of the U.S. economy by assassinating the ten-year-old daughter of a prominent Chinese businessman, triggering a dump of U.S. Treasuries by China and fomenting WWIII:

Now, I think anyone with any sense can see where this is going.  Casti and Rand Corporation are giving us a glimpse into the future of propaganda.  This is what will be written in our children’s history books if the globalists have their way. The fact that Linchpin Theory is featured in a primetime television show at all is a testament to Rand Corporation’s influence in the media.  But, as for the wider picture, are the trigger points around us really just a product of complex coincidence?

Not a chance.

Each major global hot-spot today can easily be linked back to the designs of international corporate and banking interests and the puppet governments they use as messengers.  Casti claims that “X-events” and “linchpins” cannot be accurately predicted, but it would seem that they can certainly be purposely instigated.

The globalists have stretched the whole of the world thin.  They have removed almost every pillar of support from the edifice around us, and like a giant game of Jenga, are waiting for the final piece to be removed, causing the teetering structure to crumble.  Once this calamity occurs, they will call it a random act of fate, or a mathematical inevitability of an overly complex system.  They will say that they are not to blame.  That we were in the midst of “recovery”.  That they could not have seen it coming.

Their solution will be predictable.  They will state that in order to avoid such future destruction, the global framework must be “simplified”, and what better way to simplify the world than to end national sovereignty, dissolve all borders, and centralize nation states under a single economic and political ideal?

Is it the Hegelian Dialectic all over again?  Yes.  Is it old hat feudalism and distraction?  Yes.  But, I have to hand it to Casti and Rand Corporation; they certainly have refined the argument for collectivism, centralization, technocracy, slavery, moral relativism, and false-flag dupery down to a near science…

Let us not shoot the messenger - but further discuss ways to survive whatever calamity it is to befall us - even if Brandon Smith is only partially right, when the SHTF as it is certainly going to do - what side of the fence do you want to be on. The guards or the guarded - or is there a way to subvert their plans?

Biggest problem with 'surviving the calamity' is communication. It's a BIG Country out there.  When there's no Internet, just exactly how does everyone intend to stay 'informed'?  (Shortwaves are cool and all, I don't have one.  I DO have several Citizen Bands and a coupla sets of walk-talks) .

Let's face facts.  I got beans. I got bullets.  I got bandaids.  The FED GOV has drones, AR-15's, hollow points, knuckle-dragging mouth-breathing Neanderthals earning 6 figures, tanks, bombs, unlimited supplies of ammo and Taco Bells.  What's a little guy gonna do? (Rhetorical, of course)

AR 15s? They just bought 7k more fully automatic weapons.

Not buyin' it, Brandon.  Central planning doesn't work for an economy let alone for world domination.

not sure he was saying they would suceed.  But rather that they are going to try - and keep trying.  And if it isn't this bunch of a-holes... lucky us we will get a new bunch of a-holes.  Seems the world is just teeming with a-holes, stabbing each other in the back, trying to be bigger a-holes.

And the REAL solution is to just not play their game.

bunnyswanson's picture

The real solution for a democratic nation is this:

Go to your local taverns, churches, VFWs, meeting places, gather up unhappy voters and introduce yourselves.  Get organized and create 24/7 vigels around the elected officials homes.

With 30 days, there will be changes.  Motivated by fear, these elected officials will point fingers.  Then they will turn on each other.  It will fall apart.  Then we can figure the rest out.  This popsicle stand needs to fall first.  Get the bankers and corporations out of the way, and talk with the people hired to keep this BS from happening in the first place.

Oh, a team of lawyers will rush to defend you if for nothing else than the notoriety.  CNN just may cover this.

Brandon was correct about wars being the best facilitator of radical societal change.  The two big wars in the 20th Century were carcinogenic, nothing good came of them.  The second one had to be fought in order to preserve Liberty.  The first one was the one we should have stayed out of, and then maybe the second one would have never materialized.

A lot can be laid at Woodrow Wilson's door.  He was as bad as Obummer is in many respects.  Too bad Wilson did not stroke out before he got the "change" he wanted.

Think Tank,  I always wondered if those people were earning a living by thinking in a tank.  I think that there is probably more brains and hard working talent in your average country bar around 11PM on a Friday night.   That my friends is an American think tank.  By the way,  the women do get prettier at closing time.

Now you're talking! But seriously, if the good guys in the U.S. military don't arrest the civilian traitors en masse and right the ship, you may see a firestorm insurgency of armed, motivated Americans that will make the tenacious Warsaw resistance and the vaunted Viet Cong guerillas look like childs play. Those in politcal power are living on borrowed time and they know it.

akak's picture

But seriously, if the good guys in the U.S. military don't arrest the civilian traitors en masse and right the ship, you may see a firestorm insurgency ...

Hmmmm ... the "good guys in the US military".

Exactly which "good guys" would those be?  Are you talking about all those who refused to participate in the grossly immoral, destructive, unnecessary and unjustified invasion of Iraq in 2003?  Or perhaps those who disobeyed orders to guard poppy fields, and heroin producers, as part of the never-ending US occupation of Afghanistan?  Or are you maybe referring to all those outraged servicemen who let their sense of justice and decency override their orders to torture US-held prisoners?  Or perhaps all the military personnel who suffered the consequences of refusing to be part of the indefinite detention of prisoners in Guantanamo (and who knows where else)?

Oh, wait, what's that you say, there ARE no such "good guys"?  Not one?

Indeed, not one.

If there were ANY such "good guys" in the US military who were willing to come out publicly and refuse illegal, immoral and unconstitutional orders, they would have already done so.  If there are in fact any such people, what are they waiting for?

I guess the excuse "I was just following my orders" is good enough when it comes to justifying collaboration with evil.  And they don't call blindly submitting to authority, no matter how evil or corrupt, "being a good soldier" for nothing.

Marge N Call's picture

As much as I think you are a douchebag, I cannot argue with your logic. Woefully I must agree. You are still a douchebag nonetheless, however, you have earned my (worthless as it is) respect in your clariry of thought on this one.

akak's picture

Um, thanks .... I guess.

I'm curious, though: care to elaborate on the "douchebag" epithet?

toomanyfakeconservatives's picture

So you've equated lack of resistance within the military to admittedly illegal wars and torture... to lack of ability and willingness to overthrow our illegitimate government and save our country from destruction? Soliders don't generally shoot or arrest their commanders over moral disargreements, but they damn sure may shoot or arrest their commanders when their country, family, and lifestyle is on the absolute brink of destruction.

You're simply not thinking straight. There comes a time when soliders stop pointing their guns at the "enemy", turn around, and point their guns at the real enemy... the ones giving the orders.

toomanyfakeconservatives's picture

Don't be a jackoff. I'm referring to the numerous, high level, silent good guys in the U.S. military who have been holding their fire... holding their noses... still waiting... still watching for the right moment to strike, even at this late stage in the game. Timing is everything and these men aren't about to telegraph their moves to the enemy and jeopardize lives because of some impatient civilian asswipe who laments why they haven't acted yet.

For crying out loud, don't you get it? Atrocities and war crimes have been around for as long as war has been around. It comes with the territory. However, the correct moment and manner in which to strike and overthrow an illegal, illegitimate government is an ENTIRELY UNRELATED AND DEADLY SERIOUS MATTER totally unsuited for the likes of armchair generals like yourself.

Don't be a bitch. Molon Labe. Semper Fi. Live free or die.

akak's picture

My point still holds, for ANY level of the military: if these "good guys" supposedly in the military haven't acted by now, when the US Constitution is 95% shredded, then they most likely never will, or do not exist at all.  I don't need to be a military strategist to understand that one does not wait to respond to the enemy until after one's position is 95% overrun.

As much as I might like to believe in your daydream of white knights riding to the rescue of our freedoms, both the logical part of my mind, and pretty every historical precedent, make me reluctantly conclude that any such dream of secret, last-minute, benevolent saviors coming to the rescue is most likely just that, a dream, or a highly improbable  Hollywood ending.

toomanyfakeconservatives's picture

Well lets just agree to disagree. All it takes is a one rogue pilot to bring down a certain spiffy 747 and change history... but the actions that *will come* from within the military will be much more concerted and much more encompassing than that.

When times get really tough, military commanders throughout history have had to contemplate the prospect of overthrowing their superior and/or being overthrown by their subordinates. The Commander in Chief has nobody higher up to overthrow, but has many pissed off red-blooded American subordinates that do, and are just waiting on standby to strike.

Clashfan's picture

Aren't you the tool that kept squawking, over and over and over, about the "mass arrests" that you promised were coming because you knew? Yeah, thought so.

Our military is full of fascists who follow orders, just as all militaries are.

toomanyfakeconservatives's picture

Aren't you the jagoff who never spent a day in uniform and speaks about military matters from the comfort of home?

Clashfan's picture

How many days do I need to spend in uniform to recognize how stupid it is to spend one day in uniform for this evil empire? Why should I do something that I know is wrong just to be able to speak out against it or to call you out on your false predictions that you repeated on every single thread on this site for a year?

MeBizarro's picture

So it's fine if the US military commits massive civilian atrocities and uses torture and even killing people (don't kid yourself we did in a huge way in Vietnam)?  Better yet if we have others do our dirty work since we don't want to get our hands clean like with Operating Condor, numerous Covert Ops that were run in Central America & Africa in the 80s, and since 9-11 the Iraq war and our 'Global War on terror.'

Yeah the world is a harsh and difficult place with alot of nastiness but deploying the same tactics our enemies use makes us no different.  If you just think it was a 'few bad apples' either whether in Iraq or in Vietnam in the military, your kidding yourself.  Rot starts at the head of the fish and works it ways down.

brandon - this article is absolutely fabulous for one reason - you have started to identify the players in the rockefeller axis of evil who promote the agenda of these very select self annointed masters of the universe alpha jedi who will guide us into a millenium of slavery and poverty while they luxuriate in the finest delicacies life has to offer...

yes rand corp, cfr, rockefeller foundation, carnegie foundation, koch foundations, macarthur foundation and scores of other fabulously wealthy "non-profits" who are guiding america into the arms of despots using fear mongering - first the reds, now al qaeda....

and have your noticed that bilious crap, "we are collecting this information for your security" fuck you but i don't need anyone collecting anything from me for my security....

now you need to name names and i started that in a thread somewhere else...

finally to zh - please send me one of those tin hats you showed in that goat shit of an article about the lunatic conspiracy was lovely to see the asshat author use the same tactics of invective and pejorative to summarily wipe away all conspiracies with his haughty arrogant smugness...i for one BELIEVE in the conspiracies all mighty just as described here and elsewhere....jfk, king, x, rfk, reagan, 9/11, vietnam, ww2 - they were all the product of these arrogant oligarchs - most of whom hide in these faceless think tanks and on wall street and other dens of thievery including academia....

samcontrol's picture

you are way to grpeneral when you mention conspiracies, so many more and the fun is in the detail.

for example, most people who think that jfk was not shot by a lone gunman DO NOT know he was finished from the" gutter hole " 50 feet ahead on the right ,,lack of better word sorry.

ImReady's picture

That would be a sewer.... But I really like "gutter hole". I'm going to start using it regularly.

Don't bother with the tin foil hat.  The greatest danger you face is from that man in the bathroom mirror.  Having noted your comments for some time (is it arrogant when a 911-as-a-false-flag type uses phrases such as "anyone with more than two brain cells....." ?), there ain't nobody in this whole wide world who would risk poking inside that noggin of yours.  Most would rather face a Black Hole, as the odds of getting out are significantly higher.

I'm beginning to understand what passes for logic and "fabulous" writing in your dreamworld.  Forget personal experience, first hand knowledge or anything so.....concrete.  No, truth comes out of the wilderness, from the Montana Redoubt.  Only from that perspective can the whole forest be seen with crystal clarity.  Okay, but truth be told, one who claims infallibility from that disadvantage point could be considered arrogant.

Still, two opposing views, mine yesterday and this one today, are healthy and a credit to Tyler's policy of allowing wide debate (plus a smattering of bare-knuckled fisticuffs).

Clashfan's picture

Chinshit, feel free to explain how steel frame hirises fall into themselves at freefall speed. Feel free to explain how NORAD, FAA, and USAF tell impossibly different stories about the event or why the Commissioners themselves don't believe their own report. I could go on, but why bother?

chindit13's picture

Yes, why bother?  But just for the heck of it, do you know what an ADIZ is?  Do you know if there is any difference between a pre-911 ADIZ and ADIZs today?  Do you know how many aircraft in CONUS airspace, since the Wright Brothers, had been tracked after a request to NORAD prior to 911?  Do you even know what NORAD's function is?  Bonus:  how long did it take to locate the aircraft (whoops!  Just gave you the answer to the first part).  Anything important that is different between this one aircraft and the 911 planes (hint:  filed flight plan and adhering to it).

I'm guessing you are not a licensed pilot.

Just a little to get you started.

DaveyJones's picture

Is that why all those other experienced "licensed pilots" have raised significant concerns or are they all internet freaks too? Also not sure how any of this explains all the other hole sizes, physics, burn rates, molten elements, collapse speeds, BBC slips, orders still standing, "pull it" statements, pentagon camera grabs and thousands of other pieces of evidence.

Ps. Are you suggesting the air defense system and NORAD behaved as it should that day? Would you like to dsicuss the amazing coincidence of all those other flight exercises that day. What are those odds. Who organized them? What effect did they have on air traffic control and the air defense system that today. Are they consistent with someone in power deliberately setting these things up to confuse the system or is that evidence more crazy website talk?

Clashfan's picture

Not one of those qs comes close to explaining the difference between the stories told by the FAA, USAF, and NORAD on that day. Not one.

And none of them have anything to do with how the three buildings fell into their own footprints at freefall speed.

And not one of those questions justifies your superficial treatment of a jumbled lot of "conspiracy theories."

Your attacks in that wretched piece were all baseless and unsupported drivel.

Rather than addressing your diversionary questions, I'll ask some about the Commission. Why did Cleland quit? What did he say? Who was the first victim of the Diebold machines?

What do the Commissioners say about their report (which is still the ludicrous, official story)?

Let me help you:

If the Commissioners are questioning why NORAD's story is radically different from others, why aren't you? Are the Commissioners "wackjobs" or any of those other epithets you slung around? Or are you simply unaware of this book?

Clashfan's picture

From the link about Farmer's book:

Does Farmer have cooperation and agreement from other members of the Commission? Yes. Did they say Bush ordered 9/11? No. Do they say that the 9/11 Commission was lied to by the FBI, CIA, Whitehouse and NORAD? Yes. Is there full documentary proof of this? Yes.

Farmer states...“at some level of the government, at some point in time…there was an agreement not to tell the truth about what happened... I was shocked at how different the truth was from the way it was described …. The [Norad air defense] tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public for two years. This is not spin.”

The 9/11 Commission head, Thomas Kean, was the Republican governor of New Jersey. He had the following to say... “We to this day don’t know why NORAD [the North American Aerospace Command] told us what they told us, it was just so far from the truth. . . " When Bush's own handpicked commission failed to go along with the cover up and requested a criminal investigation, why was nothing done?

9/11 Commission member and former US Senator, Bob Kerrey, says, "No one is more qualified to write the definitive book about the tragedy of 9/11 than John Farmer. Fortunately, he has done so. Even more fortunately the language is clear, alive and instructive for anyone who wants to make certain this never happens again."

With the only "official" 9/11 report now totally false, where do we go from here? Who is hurt by these lies? The families of the victims of 9/11 have fought, for years, to get to the truth. For years, our government has hidden behind lies and secrecy to deny them closure.

In 2006, The Washington Post reported..."Suspicion of wrongdoing ran so deep that the 10-member commission, in a secret meeting at the end of its tenure in summer 2004, debated referring the matter to the Justice Department for criminal investigation, according to several commission sources. Staff members and some commissioners thought that e-mails and other evidence provided enough probable cause to believe that military and aviation officials violated the law by making false statements to Congress and to the commission..."

What does Farmer's book tell us? Farmer offers no solutions, only a total and full rejection of what was told and his own his own ideas concerning the total failure of honesty on the part of the government, a government with something to hide.

Clashfan's picture

So I guess these Commissioners are all conspiracy nutjobs following circular reasoning on the internet to make themselves feel better?

Or are you just a chinshit windbag?

You epitomize the ignorance that characterizes the "inside job" movement.  While there are a few elements of the 911 story about which opinions might differ, you have chosen to dispute facts...and taken the wrong side of them (facts).  Again, just find out what an ADIZ is and you can forever dismiss your childish "NORAD stand down argument".  Don't even start on the idiotic BBC story that is foolish a dozen ways (the tape is not in dispute, the moonbat interpetation is what is foolish).  Do as much reading of statements of the vast majority of "architects and engineers" who are not part of the tiny 911aetruth group, and whose numbers dwarf that "truth" group, and where even the buildings' designers and builders agree the manner is which the buildings collapse is exactly how they should have collapsed.  Get your stopwatch out to time the twin towers, remembering (if you ever completed school) that Newton's Law isn't an approximation), and don't cherry pick the NIST report on WTC7 which discusses rates as the sole support mechanism for a portion that gave way and allowed a temporary---that's temporary---rate of fall upon which the "inside job" crowd loves to hang their hats (yes, I have read the entire NIST report).  Get a graph of steel strength vs. temperature, then do a quick calc of weight and stresses of anywhere from ten to thirty stories of tower on a weakened spot.  Get a physicist to explain the concept of heat transfer, then feel comfortable that all those books that talk of that old profession of Blacksmith weren't just making it up (that might be a little cryptic, but you'll eventually understand).  Read through this:  (, since it's written simple enough for even someone of your limited intellectual capacity to understand, and especially look at the photos.  Get Alex Jones tapes then find the source so that you can listen to ALL of it, not just the quote mined portions.  Oh, and explain why---if you think "footprint" is unnatural, why the "perps" of 911 didn't have the two towers fall toward the Hudson and the East River, which would have been infinitely more spectacular and much easier from a preparatory point of view.  The had a death quota or something?

But you won't, because your fantasy world has little devils at its core, devils---oops Luciferians---that allow you to justify and explain your own total failure at life, and which feed what ails the jumbled mash of neural pathways that characterize your addled brain.  Finally, feel honored that in my article the other day, you fit every single category noted in the opening:  moonbat, wingnut, & whackjob.  You can be the Poster Boy of the Lunatic Fringe, or at least you can run for Homecoming Queen.

Now best to take your little devils and all your playskool fantasies and head to Alex Jones or David Icke, where those who share your mental affliction might be able to make you feel welcome.  Adults have real and serious problems to address, and Zerohedge is at the forefront of illuminating these real issues, hindered unfortunately by people like you that make the site somewhat dismissible.  You and your fellow moonbats, wingnuts and whackjobs can tell devil stories to your heart's content and not get in the way of any serious work.  Toodles!

(PS:  If the manager is not going to be having you work the Mocha Latte station this weekend, you can excavate all my posts since the day Zerohedge came online back in 2009 [though up until the change around June-July many of us posted as "anonymous"].  Ask Tyler to reopen the Comment/Rate function and you can down arrow every last one of them.  That would be devilishly fun, no?)

ADIZ (Aerial Defense Identification Zone) has nothing to do with why NORAD, USAF, and FAA tell three inexplicably different stories. I'm guessing you know that and are a troll.

I'm not sure if you're addressing me or DJones, but I said NOTHING about the BBC tapes or David Icke.

You should look up straw man.

I said NOTHING about NORAD "stand down" orders, either, but DJones is right about the drills. Hard to believe they're coincidental. They are part of pattern behavior of the elite on inside jobs. Most who research them know that much.

Where, pray, tell, is this "vast majority" of engineers that "dwarfs the tiny number" (thousands) of AE folks? Please link to it or demonstrate it.

Each of the towers fell at close to ten seconds (one in nine, one in eleven) as if there were no resistance whatsoever. Do the math.

I have plenty of school, but here's the math:

Or here:

If you don't like either of those sources, time it yourself, do your own math, and present it.

Then, don't forget to explain the thermal imaging or eyewitness testimonies of cleanup crew who saw molten steel over a month after the event.

Or address the many lab reports of nanothermite evidence in the rubble.

I could go on for days with this, but again, most importantly, I notice no response from you to the piece I post regarding the book written by the Commissioners explaining the many problems with the official report and quantifying the many lies they were told (all documented).

People like you do much more damage to ZH than truth-tellers do.

And the many problems with that PM hit piece have been explained ad nauseum.

Enough troll feeding from me. Chinshit, you are the worst of the worst, an apologist (and a poor one) for traitors and mass murderers.

And mocking the fact that Luciferians are running the show is in no way a logical attack of the position.

I'll bet that if Alex Jones or Jesse Ventura said so, you'd believe Men in Black I and II were actually documentaries.

Wow, you truly are an idiot. You have absolutely no clue, and your bizarre thoughts are driven purely by the fact that within your skull the neural pathways were not constructed according to spec.  Damn, please find a pilot near you, or go to the FAA website and begin your study, noting in particular the balliwick of NORAD before and after 911.

Savage ignorance.  Embarrassing to the site and the species.  Please let your gene pool become extinct;  that's about the only positive thing you could salvage from your misspent time on this planet.

Regarding this website, you really think championing your moonbat delusions about Luciferians will get Tyler a seat on the Sunday Talk Shows or a public bully pulpit from which he can argue against endless printing, endless deficits, lack of prosecution and the myriad of other very real and important issues facing the world?  Do you know that Zerohedge hit peak credibility before the likes of you came along, and that once diminished credibility is very hard to rebuild?  As strong as his skill and as powerful his drive, it takes an awful lot to make up for the collateral damage caused by having the site associated with the crazed like you.  Sometimes reasonable folks have to spar publicly with fools just to show evidence that the entire membership isn't batshit crazy.  Recently it has been my turn.  It's a public service.

insults are a poor excuse for impeaching the evidence. All the evidence. And there is a lot

The best you got is an article in "popular mechanics?" The article has been easily exposed and to use your argument simply takes a little effort and research. Yes in the end, a Hearst owned paper is the sure way to avoid slanted yellow journalism on the issue. Seen any Orson Welles movies?

There's even articles "easy enough" for you to understand. The fact that much of the mainstream can't admit this to themselves or to others proves very little and has little to do with evidence, logic, physics etc. In criminal law, when a family member rapes another young family member it is a well understtod phenomenon that many deny the evidence right in front of their face because the truth is disgusting, horrific and the ultimate betrayal. This is worse.

it's not just crazy pilots who have problems with the "official" story (and your logic), it's crazy firemen - hundreds of them who unlike you were there and who gave recorded statements that were suppressed by the government and had to be pulled out. I wonder why? - who heard all sorts of explosions and saw, smelled and felt other things. , crazy architects, crazy engineers, crazy physics professors, crazy military brass, etc etc etc.

Tell us why they seized all the camera footage around the pentagon - within minutes that is - and why they can't just release some footage to shut us up?

Are you suggesting the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were not for resource?

That killed / injured / displaced  millions. You really think these bastards give a crap about "american" lives?

Are you suggesting history is not replete with power structures turning on their own for the same?

I try to keep the evidence somewhere within range of Clashfan's clearly limited intellectual and rational capacity, which is admittedly a challenging task.  Also, are not his insults open to criticism?

I have read virtually everything related to 911, except I stay away from professional comedians like Alex Jones and brain dead ex-professional wrestlers with embarrassingly bad and fauxly dramatic TV shows.  I parse them with my own fairly extensive scientific background, and further parse it with direct access to those in positions of authority.  The absolute only semi-credible source on the truther side is 911ae, but they are overwhelming cancelled out in numbers and argument by those amongst their colleagues who argue for events that match the common narrative.  I also know that the likes of Clashfan are Mobius Strips, wherein they come back to the beginning and try to start all over again as each of their arguments is falsified.

Regarding the wars, I was never in favor of Iraq.  That was forced by several factors, only one of which was resources.  The others were as reprehensible as personal revenge, and as foolish as the Neocon view that a system of democracy could be imposed on a people who had no idea of the concept.  I also know that Iraq today is a broken nation where personal vendetta rules the day, and where the leadership both hates the US and has made it their goal of slaugtering each and every person who in any way, shape or form was friendly toward the US.  When that job is finished they will go after Sunnis in general.  Success, not.  Oh yes, and to whatever extent it might have been about resources, it's failure there, too, as US firms are not exactly lighting up the world drilling and exporting Iraqi oil.

Incidentally, I am well familiar with the Middle East and South Asia, fluent in Arabic and can read Urdu and Farsi.  I've been all over the area and have infinitely greater knowledge and understanding of Islam, both its majority peaceful side and its radical side, than any of the Internet Gurus who falsely present themselves as knowledgeable.

I am also vehemently opposed to the Pakistani drone strikes, even if the actual story is a little more complicated than is typically discussed.  Yes, there are some bad guys there (don't even start with any "alCIAda" childishness, because you do not know anything), but the manner in which the US has chosen to go after them flies in the face of anything and everything we supposedly stand for as a nation.  That the new drones are so accurate that they can take out a single individual in a moving car and leave the other passengers unharmed is a relative improvement (relative in a precision sort of way, not moral or legal), but it can never make up for the innocents lost when the weapons were more crude.  Of that I am ashamed, and it is puzzling that Obama has not taken more flak for it, since he has used it a hundred times more than Bush ever did.   Also, you may not stop to consider that the methods and tools you claim are used by the US (disinformation) are also a tool of, for example, the Pakistani ISI which is not especially fond of the US.  Are you aware that they are the source of casualty numbers in the tribal regions, and that their numbers are very much at odds with the video footage from the drone cameras?  ISI lie?  Can't be!  Well, the battle for hearts and minds is fought on all fronts.
