This video has been going around for a few days, but wow. Very powerful and could be effective in knocking some sense into more sheeple if it gets spread widely enough. It’s an absolute joke that these people being questioned by Senator Elizabeth Warren are supposed hold the banks to task. I mean this Tom Curry character. I could probably go up to him, take his glasses off his face and walk away and he wouldn’t even notice. Furthermore, those little placards in front of them that state “honorable.” These people have zero honor. The joke’s on us.
She also makes the key point how ordinary citizens are constantly harassed by the “authorities” for what are in many cases petty and victimless crimes, while the bankers who have unleashed more destruction than anyone else, get slaps on the wrist. Every single American should watch this short clip.

Being Obamas advisor on the formation of the Consumer Finance Bureau, so far as I am aware, is not a regulatory position with any kind of investigative or enforcement empowerment. Similarly, Chairing a Congressional investigation does not qualify as a regulatory position of any kind.

How many government officials have blasted organized crime while being fully captured and on the take from those very same criminals. I have said before. Lots of lip service to everyone's right to a fair trial and innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. But the reality is, if a perp will never be brought to trial, then there is no justice, only a legal system. We are therefore essentially WROL. Therefore, ropes, executions , lynchings should be the order of the day when crimes are so outrageous, so florid, and so unconscionable that they scream for some kind of action. I think Louis VXI might have had some insight on this.

I am no fan of Warren but Neil Borofsky specifically mentioned her as a person who was adamant during TARP to get the banks toi be transparent about where and how the TARP taxpayer money was spent. Of course it put her at odds with Giethner but she continued to push and battle the issue according to Borofsky. It seemed like a no brainer she would be put in a position of power in revised banking committee but the bankers didn't want her on there. I have no idea if Obama ended up appointing her or not. On this issue, she seems to deserve some credit (no pun intended)
