It's no laughing matter. A corporatist, semi-fascist state always has the same trade for the middle class: a decline in living standards in exchange for jobs for a shrinking number of middle class people (the under class just doesn't matter). The test to determine whether you get anything is the correct answer to this question:

Do you support law and order?

Ya gotta hope that once Americans wake up and realize that the U.S. Government has become explicitly fascist, they will overthrow it. But you never know! One thing they are waking up to, however: it seems they now realize that the U.S. Government is not for EVERYONE. We're at the stage where public opinion knows that it is now only for MOSTpeople. Soon they will realize it is explicitly only for SOME people. Then....

And by the way, this is the next stage: preparing the middle to realize that the U.S. Government not for ALL of the middle class, but just SOME of the middle class. And then.... I hope it is evident how OPPOSING fascist regimes is never sufficient to PREVENT fascist regimes from coming to power. You think people would learn from the Nazis that it was never enough to OPPOSE Hitler, you had to PREVENT Hitler from COMING TO POWER. Kinda makes you wonder how many people actually OPPOSED Hitler, even if they said they did. Remember the common refrain: "Yes, Hitler deprived me of my rights. For example, he deprived me of my right to starve." Not realizing that the "hunger Chancellor" was not the political opposite of Hitler, but instead, was the prelude to Hitler and prepared the doctrinal way for Hitler. An influential group of leading world banks warned Thursday that central banks are pumping out too much easy money and markets risk becoming dangerously addicted to ultra-low interest rates.

The Institute of International Finance, which groups 450 banks, said that if central banks continue to flood money into the global economy, then any future bid to get it under control could itself destabilize the financial system.

“These conditions — quantitative easing, very low interest rates — cannot last forever, but the risk is that financial markets have become addicted to them,” it warned.

“The longer central bank liquidity is relied on to hold things together, the more excesses and distortions are being accumulated in the financial system. An eventual unwinding of these excesses will become a destabilizing risk event.”

IIF deputy managing director Hung Tran said that central bankers should be aware of “the unintended consequences of their actions” and make clear how they expect to adjust monetary policy over the long term.

“This would help lessen the risk of large swings in financial markets,” he said.
