Second New York City Drone Sighted
A week after the first unidentified flying drone (UFD) sighting in New York, which even got the FBI scrambling to cover the tracks of the despotic democratic government and going so far as to solicit public input on what was, supposedly, a misplaced remote-controlled airplane, here comes drone 2:

I've seen kites in the shape of planes and if you fly them low in overcast weather, the eye looses the depth perception and they may actually appear much larger than a kite.
Can you imagine if the joke is on the FBI and NYPD?
Exit 23 is just passed Flushing Meadows and basically right in the path of planes taking off today from LGA. In fact I saw them from the parking lot up from the Merry-Go-Round and Queens Zoo on the Corona side around 3pm. Drones on exit 23 would have put them right in a path.

I was there once near Shea stadium Flushing Medow area and those days there were flying remote controlled toy planes on weekends the ones with the little gas egine. Is it possible?
I'm sure it was a radio controlled aircraft, but with an electric motor and FPV capability. In other words, a camera on the aircraft and goggles on the person flying it. Regular radio controlled aircraft fly "within visual site", never being father away than the person flying it can see. The FPV aircraft can go as far as the radio will transmit and power source will allow. Incredibly cheap nowadays and can be bought at many hobby stores on the internet. These will be outlawed very soon with the new FAA regulations.

I was going to say the same thing. These are likely little 3 foot foam RC aircraft that someone is flying FPV. I fly a RC foam airplane, although only within sight range. I'm sure the upshot of all this hullabaloo will be a ban on FPV aircraft, and likely some kind of restriction of other RC aircraft to some kind of government-sponsored airfield (with requisite high usage fees/licenses attached!). Thanks in advance for that, you paranoid politicians! Way to wreck another harmless hobby.

Seems to me, people are seeing UFOS and should be shooting them down, so our country is not invaded. Or is that part of trying to have guns banned? If I saw a UFO I would not hestitate to shoot it, as of course I want to help save our world from aliens. So I say shoot down those flying machines.
I'm sure if you stand out on the Long island expressway shooting a gun at aircraft overhead the police would thank you for helping them do their job.

Gee you don't think govt authorities knowing what a bankrupt government will mean to millions addicted to a govt check and how angry they will get... They wouldn't be taking these steps as well as many others now in prep for any expected civil disobedience would they? Nah, that's too conspiratorial. Lets just stick to rigging the most important interest rate mark on the planet, LIBOR... but that's not done either, for even to think about it would also be too conspiratorial. Little by little, managed financial markets, civil rights trampled upon, USA is turning into a fascist state with a false facade of personal freedom.
