Meanwhile, Greeks Are Celebrating...
A short trip across the sea from the debacle occurring in Cyprus and it appears the tension is rising up in Greece once again. It is well known that Golden Dawn 'nazi' party won a surprising and disconcerting number of parliamentary seats at the last election, and the massively unstable size of Greece's youth unemployment continues to spell trouble; but, now Greece's most popular sport - soccer (football) - is infected by the increasingly nationalist fervor. As Fox reports, national soccer player Giorgos Katidis has been banned for life from playing for Greece after giving a Nazi salute while celebrating a goal this weekend. Cited as "a deep insult to all victims of Nazi brutality," the striker took to twitter (@GiwrgosKatidis) to proclaim his innocence of the meaning of the gesture (you decide in the image and clip below) - right arm extended and hand straightened - adding that he detests fascism. The question now is - when does the Cyprus soccer team play next? as it seems the peripheral European nations are starting to wake up to the Union's reality and the haircut is the next catalyst.
Accident? Ignorance? Or a simmering nationalist fervor?

That salute is properly the Roman salute, and yes, it was adopted by Hitler along with all the other military junk. It also happened to be the salute you did to the flag of the US prior to WW 2.

Clearly, only Jewish financial terrorists giving the entire nation of Greece (as well as the rest of the Eurozone) the One Finger salute is acceptable in polite company.
One salute: gets one a lifetime ban and personal ruin. The other? Brings with it ongoing financial gain and legal untouchable status.

The Nazis are the boogeymen of our generation. The current iteration of totalitarian control will use the threat of nazism to control the population while employing tactics on par with the atrocities of their worst historical counterparts.

I did nothing ever to physically offend any jew. How many Germans are alive now who offended any Jew? Three? Seven? Twenty six?

There were some nazi collabortors in WWII in Greece, but generally the Greeks fought with everything they had against Nazis in WWII. Not sure how these f-ing idiots with their hitler salute can be labelled nationalists when it was the salute of the army that occupied and devastated their country. These idiots and their party have been left to flourish because they don't pose a threat to anyone but poor undocumented immigrants. Now, if they wanted out of the euro, then they and their party would be silenced.
