Nigel Farage Message To Europeans: "Get Your Money Out While You Can"

Tyler Durden's picture

In Nigel Farage's first TV appearance since the Cypriot wealth tax was announced, the Englishman pulls no punches. In all his years and all his experience of the desperation of the European Union's leadership "never did [he] think they would resort to stealing money from people's savings accounts." The simple fact is that they know they cannot let any country leave, no matter how small, for "once one country goes, the whole deck of cards will come tumbling down." There is now "clear irreconcilable differences" between the North and the South of Europe and now that they have done this in one country, "they are quite capable of doing it in Italy, Spain and anywhere." The message that sends to people is "get your money out while you can." As far as his British constituents, he strongly recommends George Osborne (UK Chancellor) urge ex-pats to remove all their money and do monthly transfers from home. "Do Not Invest In The Euro-Zone," he concludes, "you have to be mad to do so - as it is now run by people who do not respect democracy, the rule of law, or the basic principles upon which Western civilization is based."

"They are propping up a Eurozone that, in the end, will collapse in disastrous failure and they are prepared to do anything to do so."

5 minutes of reality from a European MP - must watch...

Maybe we need to shorten the planned obsolescence cycle!

Or maybe if the govt. just confiscated everything from everyone then we would all have to buy new stuff to replace it and our economy would boom!!

What? Are you some kind of cave dweller who has just emerged to the surface for the first time? Material goods have nothing to do with the economy, everybody knows that. The economy is fully virtual, as it should be. Produced goods as wealth are barbaric relics of bygone era.

The only serious remnant of that past is paper cash, which should have been abolished long time ago in favor of fully digital cash. Now people can get away with removing their deposits and keeping their money at home, outside the system! How are we supposed to be able to fully control the economy and rescue the financial system when people can do that?

Exactly! How can we fully dominate a population when they can hide things from us.

This is why I propose that every household, car and workplace in america have a banker stationed there to monitor everything... and armed guards to protect the bankers.

People cannot be trusted to control their own finances much less the finances of the world economy.

As a good sheep, I prefer to hand over my saved money to a bank where it can be fractionally multiplied, leveraged, and endlessly collateralized to buy limitless amounts of G-Bonds and Indexes by a bunch of conflicted agents way more than I could've ever achieve by spending the money myself.

I'm even ready to take the risk of being corzined to acheive this higher purpose. It's just fair.

But fear not, I also draw on my credit card and mortgage to buy stuff I can't afford after inflation eats away my earnings. All I need to do is keep rolling over those debts and pay the maintenance margin (err, interest).

And just to make sure I'm not leaving anything to chance, as soon as I send this comment, I'm gonna punch myself in the face, breaking my own glasses, and hopefully getting some of it into my eye, and accidentally hitting the desk cables, break the computer and monitor, get my colleague electrocuted and trigger the fire alarm.

See MDB, I'm better than you

@ MDB:

" ... bank levies will incentivise savers to spend more instead of hoarding cash."

This is a bowlderization of Keynes: it's incorrect. What it incentivizes is a shift of hoarded funds into more secure hoards.

"This will increase aggregate demand and kickstart the consumer economy."

Not by itself, ours is a credit economy.

These cowards, assassins, thieves, weak men need to be extinguished from the face of the earth.  Their offspring as well.  They have killed heroes and comedians, taken over the media in order to advance their plan which is sheer fucking insanity to say the least.  The policitians have lost their minds for money.  The zionists havc ereached the top of all industries and as a result, we are going to see millions of people without a source of income due to their hunger for more and more and more money/control

If there are not 200 security guards around the people who oppose this movement, who are in the spotlight, then their are fools as well.  Its clear by now that the earth is crawling with vermin who work for them, silencing the truth, staging events, pretending as if everything is just fine through media propaganda, while a global mass murder is under way.

It becoming unbearable to continue reading about this while they amass weapons and armies to move forward their agenda.

Seems its time that a plan is put into place to remove thse people.  i think we will see drones dropping bombs on castles/palaces, yachts, banks, islands of refuge, where ever these rich assholes go when they are not destroying our lives.  Justice system worldwide is tainted with their diabolical scheme.

There is no other choice and I am sure a couple thousand people who have the capacity to see this for what it is, like this man, agree.  Negotiations, regulations, rationality mean nothing to these people, who want to control by destroying functioning infrastructures, so we have to beg for their mercy or starve.  We need a team of vipers to work for the people and protect our heroes. Now where the fuck are they, is the only question I have.  Stalk the stalker.

This is a dark time in the history of mankind.  At this point, anyway you look at it, it will end in misery, even for the monied.  So the least we can do for humanity is wipe the earth clean of their purulence.

Make no mistakes about it, the banks in Cyprus are done.    Toast.   Even if they do a soft open on Thursday with withdrawal and transfer limits, people will suck that out as soon as it becomes available and never deposit another euro (if that's still the currency as of Thursday).   Got that? Put a fork in em. Whether or not there is massive contagion remains to be seen but I wouldn't bet against it.

This act really hits home for anyone.  Savings accounts are almost ubiquitous in the developed world.  When people realize that there is now counterparty risk to a simple savings account trust is gone.

Too dumb to be on accident.

Who in their right mind would risk the whole concept of electronic money, which allows a level of insulation from the bank runs of old, for a measly amount of euros?

Not an accident, certainly not. But not dumb either. I think it speaks loudly to another undercurrent; TPTB (in Europe and the US) are gripped with a nearly mind-destroying fear. What they are afraid of I cannot say for sure. I could make some guesses, but so could we all, so I'll leave it there. But you don't have to know exactly what they are afraid of. It is enough to know that they are just that afraid.

He's no hero of mine, I don't have heroes, he's just a dodgy politician with a view, but you appear to have an unexplained hair up your butt about him. He presents a point of view, he makes a lot of good points very well. You could go debate him, see how you go. If you can explain the merits of the eurozone to him, who knows, you may be able to talk him around. But you seem incapable of doing that here. I guess it's a communication problem, on your part.

I don't have to explain the merits of the eurozone to him, I actually support Nigel Farage and the UKIP in their stated goal of taking the UK out of the EU - which is not the eurozone, then the Bank of England does not even qualify for the EUR

communication problem? yes, of course. how am I to explain in a short comment things as complex as what is currently being debated in 17 eurozone parliaments?

can you do the same in the nuclear debates, where I look at you for information and comment because you obviously have spent more time on that?

again, I have no clue how much you know about British politics - or EU politics where he is an MEP. do you know, for example, that the UKIP MEPs don't vote there, out of self-chosen principles? meanwhile NF likes to joke about how much he spends from eu funds? did you ever analyze how much of the UKIP stance is straight out of the global Murdoch agenda?

It's tough to do. I recently helped arm a friend of mine who needed a user friendly handgun ASAP, four gun stores had nothing but 22LR available. Did an online search, found one available at midnight, called when the store opened at 8AM and it was already sold. The most expensive store in town ended up having a couple high-end revolvers in stock.

I keep hearing that the manufacturers are working overtime to fill demand, but I'm not seeing a single new gun show up anywhere... WTF.

Right now it's a if you find it, buy it market. Who knows how long it'll be before we get back to even half normal supplies.

What Russian (wannabe) Oligarchs do when they are not in Cyprus:

“911” is the only three-storied striptease club in Moscow. Every floor here has its peculiar atmosphere, special rules and show-program. Non-stop dancing show goes on at the big stage of the first floor; a good restaurant with sushi-bar is also at your disposal here. On the second floor you can relax watching the topless dancing girls. Here you will be offered a special SHOW MENU; its items include private dances or exclusive full striptease.

The upper you go, the more and more dissipated the atmosphere becomes. The third floor of “911” is a real paradise for those who don’t want to deny himself anything. Here you will enjoy free full striptease, as well as the EXTREME SHOW MENU; among its items you will find, for example, “Lesbian Dance” or “My Little Doggy”, when one of the girls will play a role of your pet dog. The floor is equipped with all the required amenities, including private rooms and VIP Jacuzzi. Of course, you can be absolutely sure that professional security and face-control wouldn’t let anything spoil your romantic evening in “911”.

The IMF must lose face here by backing down or they will start a Western world run on the banks.

Also when has it been taboo, to default on bonds that you cant repay, what ever happened to buyer beware?  if you bought the bonds thinking they will always get bailed out, then you deserve to lose your money.  and if you bought them not knowing the downside risk then you need to learn a leason the hard way.
