Folks, it's one thing to read about these events, it's another to have to live through them. Odd - not a single mention I can find regarding safe deposit boxes in those Cypriot banks. My guess is that anyone asking to visit their safe deposit box will be accompanied by several armed guards who will promptly confiscate the contents for "inspection".
Or perhaps all of the boxes have already been emptied.
Somehow, I don't think this business in Cyprus is over just yet. It appears that a good bit of the Russian money got out before TSHF. So that left many ordinary Cypriots taking the ass-raping on the bank restructuring. So as I said, I don't think this over yet.
I wish the TV coverage and "riot cams" :) had English speakers or at least "subtitles" :)
