Bill Gross Is Angry

Tyler Durden's picture

The bond king is pissed:

No Bill, we are bothered too: we have been looking for the past 24 hours on the Fed's site for ways to subscribe to said early release distribution list and still can't find it. We even offered Kevin Henry $29.95 a month to add us to Fed's frontrunning newsletter and so far, nothing.

How are we to make 100% returns in the otherwise risk free market, if we too can't have market moving information days in advance of everyone else?

Mr. Bernanke, are you listening - it hinders the "wealth effect" by denying everyone material, market-moving information early!

Get to work Mr. Chairman.

Put me down as angry...most definitely so.  Enough of this Federal Reserve "Bank" bullshit, already.

It shouldn't bother anyone.  Insider information on the Fed is useless because everyone knows what they are going to do: print until everything explodes.  And then print some more.

Fed jawboning is irrelevant.  Everyone knows the score.  Of course they are corrupt and serving their cronies, but we're better to focus on the illegality of the very enterprise than disclosure processes of their idiotic meetings.

now that he is not an insider (whatever got you blackballed?) it is as if Bill himself is back from the Inner Station saying: “I found myself back in the sepulchral city resenting the sight of people [bankers] hurrying through the streets [to the Fed] to filch a little money from each other…”

The question is how much else do they leak accidentially on purpose?

I have a feeling Bill used to subscribe, then got kicked off the list.

Maybe his fax got lost in the ether. Either that or the monkey sending out the faxes that day had a fat finger and the list went to someones iPhone as a text.

A little lesson is in order, next time you don't get the fax, instead of getting emotional like a little panty waist, call over at the Eccles building, expect to pucker up a lot, and see if kissing a little butt smothes things over.

If not you can always drop a wad of cash into Obama's Hawaiian House Retirement fund to get back into good graces with the ChairSatan.

I take it Bill Gross wasnt on the list?

Is he upset that a list was sent or that he wasnt on it?

SPX now almost 4% higher than Friday's NFP low.  4% in 4 days on no news.

No one who got the list early is angry. Weird.

idea for Bernanke

1.  drive rates up to 5% on the ten-year

2.  print and buy all bonds for 50 cents/dollar

3.  drive rates back down

4.  take profits, exit strategy complete

5.  save social security with ensuing increase in suicides due to lost savings

mdtrader's picture

The minute Bernanke sells any bonds the bond market crashes. The only reason anybody buys bonds at these price is because Bernanke is buying.

I don't think Bernanke will settle for $29.95/mo.  Ask his Chief of Staff, Sec'y Lew for the going rate. As a point of reference, the KPMG auditor required $25,000 of his golf buddy for insider info on only 2 companies.

Ahhh..Lew Spews forth words of wisdom..

US Treasury's Lew says US economic recovery remains fragile

"Fragile"? No..fragile is what one posts on a package with delicate stuff..the US economy and the people that are fixing (riiiiight) it, friggin broken!

Bernanke is a criminal. He is a fucking thief, as are his colleagues. When the shit finally hits the fan, my hope is that a large mob visits them all at their homes and gives him the same treatment Mussolini received. They all fucking sicken me.

Pulp Fiction cellar, that is the only way Bernanke may be humbled.

Huh? Chain store sales rise modestly as jobs, weather weigh

In first sentence after headline..

(Reuters) - Several top retailers, including Costco Wholesale Corp and T.J. Maxx parent TJX Cos Inc, reported weaker-than-expected March sales as cold weather and lingering concerns about the job market chilled shoppers' enthusiasm.

algos dont read content.. only headlines.. thus ^

Shizzmoney's picture

I love how Reuters always leads off with positive headers.....and then as you sift through the article, the truth comes out.  It's as if they KNOW the majority of people don't read the entire thing.

BTW, really bad sign if Costco sales are dropping.  This is the main shopping center for the middle class (what is left of it in the USA), mostly because you have to pay a yearly fee for a subscription (for those serfs who can't, there's Wal-Mart and the Dollar Tree).

A scene from "Catch 22" comes to mind: (the shooter of the plane has died.)

Milo Minderbinder: "He wasn't a poor man. He had shares in the company."

Yossarian: "He's dead now!"

Milo: "So we'll send his shares to his relatives."

Yossarian: "He didn't have a family of his own."

Milo: "We'll give the shares to his parents, then."

Yossarian: "They won't need it. They're rich."

Milo:"If they're rich - they will understand."

(likewise, it's only from memory)

I've been trying to get someone to arrest Bernanke for over a year Bill. If you would like to step up this effort it would be greatly appreciated.

never give up on referencing kevin Henry...still one of the funniest topics on ZH to date.

it is amazing that even the media is ignoring Gross on this.  I guess there was a follow up email to the early discolure list that included a plan to squash this leak.

Shock and awe. Insiders get preferential treatment. The government cannot be trusted. Eric Holder won't prosecute systemically important financial institutions due to Breuerian ripple effects. 90 year old judges sign off on metals manipulation because the JPM had no incentive to manipulate. Corzine launches hedge fund. Stevie Cohen buys a painting. Bill Gross buys a multi million dollar house for the sole purpose of tearing it down and gives up his Twitter rant without a fight.

Show me something more interesting like confiscation of bank accounts. We need a stronger drug than mere illegal insider trading to maintain our MSNBC "no child left off Ritalin" collective community attention deficit.
