Anthrax Scare 2.0: Letter Addressed To US Senator Tests Positive For Ricin Poison
Yesterday we got a flashback of 9/11, and now the Anthrax scare is back. From @911Buff
- LETTER ADDRESSED TO A U.S. SENATE OFFICE INTERCEPTED AT U.S. CAPITAL, TESTS POSITIVE FOR RICIN POISION.
- POISON LETTER WAS SENT TO SENATOR ROGER WICKER FROM MISSISSIPPI AT THE CAPITOL. FBI INVESTIGATING.
Ricin's toxic history is long and illustrious: starting with the death of Bulgarian dissident journalist Georgi Markov, using the infamous KGB umbrella, and most recently used by Walter White (unsuccessfully) to eliminate the meth dealing competition.
CNN has some initial bits and pieces:
An envelope that tested positive for the deadly poison ricin was intercepted Tuesday afternoon at the U.S. Capitol's off-site mail facility in Washington, congressional and law enforcement sources tell CNN.
After the envelope tested positive in a first routine test, it was retested two more times, each time coming up positive, the law enforcement source said. The package was then sent to a Maryland lab for further testing.

Finally, some facts from the CDC on ricin:
What ricin is
- Ricin is a poison found naturally in castor beans. If castor beans are chewed and swallowed, the released ricin can cause injury. Ricin can be made from the waste material left over from processing castor beans.
- It can be in the form of a powder, a mist, or a pellet, or it can be dissolved in water or weak acid.
- It is a stable substance under normal conditions, but can be inactivated by heat above 80 degrees centigrade (176 degrees Fahrenheit).
Where ricin is found and how it is used
- Castor beans are processed throughout the world to make castor oil. Ricin is part of the waste “mash” produced when castor oil is made.
- Ricin has been used experimentally in medicine to kill cancer cells.
How you could be exposed to ricin
- It would take a deliberate act to make ricin and use it to poison people. Unintentional exposure to ricin is highly unlikely, except through the ingestion of castor beans.
- If made into a partially purified material or refined into a terrorist or warfare agent, ricin could be used to expose people through the air, food, or water.
- In 1978, Georgi Markov, a Bulgarian writer and journalist who was living in London, died after he was attacked by a man with an umbrella. The umbrella had been rigged to inject a poison ricin pellet under Markov’s skin.
- In the 1940s the U.S. military experimented with using ricin as a possible warfare agent. In some reports ricin has possibly been used as a warfare agent in the 1980s in Iraq and more recently by terrorist organizations.
- Ricin poisoning is not contagious. Ricin-associated illness cannot be spread from person to person through casual contact. However, if you come into contact with someone who has ricin on their body or clothes, you could become exposed to it.
How ricin works
- Ricin works by getting inside the cells of a person’s body and preventing the cells from making the proteins they need. Without the proteins, cells die. Eventually this is harmful to the whole body, and death may occur.
- Effects of ricin poisoning depend on whether ricin was inhaled, ingested, or injected.
Signs and symptoms of ricin exposure
- The major symptoms of ricin poisoning depend on the route of exposure and the dose received, though many organs may be affected in severe cases.
- Initial symptoms of ricin poisoning by inhalation may occur as early as 4- 8 hours and as late as 24 hours after exposure. Following ingestion of ricin, initial symptoms typically occur in less than 10 hours.
- Inhalation: Within a few hours of inhaling significant amounts of ricin, the likely symptoms would be respiratory distress (difficulty breathing), fever, cough, nausea, and tightness in the chest. Heavy sweating may follow as well as fluid building up in the lungs (pulmonary edema). This would make breathing even more difficult, and the skin might turn blue. Excess fluid in the lungs would be diagnosed by x-ray or by listening to the chest with a stethoscope. Finally, low blood pressure and respiratory failure may occur, leading to death. In cases of known exposure to ricin, people having respiratory symptoms should seek medical care.
- Ingestion: If someone swallows a significant amount of ricin, he or she would likely develop vomiting and diarrhea that may become bloody. Severe dehydration may be the result, followed by low blood pressure. Other signs or symptoms may include seizures, and blood in the urine. Within several days, the person’s liver, spleen, and kidneys might stop working, and the person could die.
- Skin and eye exposure: Ricin is unlikely to be absorbed through normal skin. Contact with ricin powders or products may cause redness and pain of the skin and the eyes. However, if you touch ricin that is on your skin and then eat food with your hands or put your hands in your mouth, you may ingest some.
- Death from ricin poisoning could take place within 36 to 72 hours of exposure, depending on the route of exposure (inhalation, ingestion, or injection) and the dose received.

I would assume ricin has already been effectively weaponized-- given than it has some use as an insecticide against corn worms, someone must have studied the aerosolization and distribution of its particles- if for no other reason than to avoid killing farm laborers (perhaps Dow or Dupont in the post WW2 agriboom). Probably would have been more effective to use the ricin on the Boston crowd and send the crockery to the crackpot congress critter though...
*oops, never mind*
Once again Hobbleknee, is your avatar porn?
If you think the troajn combat suit is porn, yes :-p

@wesbury was mocking zerohedge for always saying the sky is falling yesterday on twitter. It was almost the exact time of the bombing as well. You can't make this stuff up.
Paul Krugman was on this site the day before the Boston bombing. It was in answer to a question of what happens now after gold plunges.
Twice he replied "BOOM"
That asshole knew something! ........AND there was lots of broken glass. Quick ring the Tips hotline, we have a suspect and a proven lover of destruction
Send this shit to the BANKSTERS.........come on
Bastards would thrive on it.Not human.
It's just the beginning. Bitchez
Those damned Vulgarians!
im gettting concerned about Disabled Vet...anybody hear from him???....hes been silent the past few days.....hmmmmmmm
Kito, that made my day. I love your sarcasm</>
thanks yen....i like you since youve been taking those happy pills again :).............
long ' Life Savers'
Back during the last anthrax scare the market was tanking and one of my mutual fund wholesalers sent every advisor a letter telling us to stay calm. Inside the letter she put two aspirin and wrote "take two of these and call me in the morning haha".
The aspirin all got crushed in the mail and it sent 100 advisors running out of their offices screaming like women with their hair on fire.. I miss those days.
"Guantanamo" brand Asprin.
Well, you can't cure stupid.
We just elect it instead.
i miss my blue pill days.....when i went about life content with my ignorance of how the world really operated.....life was so much simpler......food storage consisted of whatever was in the fridge and a half eaten box of pasta........investment strategy meant opening my first roth ira and picking out my funds from list of nice and simple risk tolerance/age factors----"aggressive....moderate.....barely alive"........oh those were the days...................
You enjoyed being this guy? I don't know the old you but I like the new you.

haha fonz....i was thinking more like this....

Your red till your dead now.
Kito, you ever heard of a comma? All your hyphens and butchered ellipsis are driving me into a combative state. It's like I'm reading a facebook post written by a trustafarian adolescent from Boulder.
perhaps then................................................................... you should go back to reading facebook posts from your inner circle of trustafarian adolescent friends in boulder.................................................................................................................................................................newbie..............................................
CalvinBall rules apply...
~~~~~~~~~~
Admit it Fonz... You trample the guy with a limp trying to get out first :)
damn right i would.
Anthrax is really nasty. I'm not thinking that I'd even blink about running away from something like that. But screaming? Naw...
Maybe time to pull out my mask and filters again...
..
Anthrax is highly overrated. It's long-lived, i.e., it will last for decades in the environment, but as far as lethality goes there are far more deadly bioweapons that aren't 1/10 as hard to weaponize. I'm not going to list them. I probably on enough watch lists as it is.
It only needs a very modest degree of intelligence to simply visit your local Medical Library. Plenty of info in there on what's the greatest and the best way to "neutralise problem neighbours"
Hey - if you're really keen - just try Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/Bioterrorism-Sourcebook-Michael-Grey/dp/0071440860 SIXTEEN used copies from just a measly $35!!
Heck, I know MSM sites you can visit online and won't cost you nothing.
Very interesting timing right after Boston.
We are not in a precarious world, everything is fine, sell your gold and do not upset the "orderly" debasement of the Yen and go back to sleep and please bend over your fiat deposit so Buffet's insurance company can get cheap "float".
USPS lost the 534 other envelopes.....
Ok the US is going to war open with Iran or Pakistan in 9 months?
whitenight, you have a predilection for gold and its historic place in the world....lets get a call from you....where does gold end up??? what happens to the dollar??? what happens to the rest of the worlds currencies?? and when??? and please none of the "all fiat value goes to zero" stuff......ive heard it all too many times............
Kito CNBC made it clear today that gold is no longer a viable investment. Goldman says it will fall further and so it shall be.
Forget gold. Gold is boring. Where do stocks go? and when?
The deflation argument falls flat on it's face and only enhances the PM arguement for manipulation and all fiat going to zero as long as stocks stay up here. If stocks collapse however, then the debate can really rage.
Bonus - Schiff vs some guy
http://www.cnbc.com/id/100646986
I will always take the other side of any trade recommended by Goldman or CNBS. I can't see the video, but I'm sure that Schiff makes Kass look like the idiot that he is.
Kass ended the debate by saying "if gold starts going back up I will admit you are right"
All going towards the next Peter Schiff was right vid.
Seriously fonz...I'm looking into some coins...for the reason that the msm is crying the end of gold.....I'm contrarian.......
You won't be alone Doc.
Next Q we'll find GS has taken physical possession (laundering fiat for the real) while their paid shills are barking about the incredible buying opportunities (for the long haul investor) to be had in solar panels...lol.
Look! Over there! Squirrels!!!
So easy, 'Iranian' did both.
I got my Anthrax shots and "Meds" in 1991....
I'm not sure if "double poisoning" scare tactics is something I need to bother with at this point.
I be already F**k'ed
People are angry my friends. Stay safe.
Angry doesn't cover it....we've pissed off pretty much everyone.
We?
I've done nothing of the sort.
Yes, you need to apply more scare to local population.
Now obscure law will be introduced, centralizing more and allowing more freedom for agencies.
Bingo: http://thecable.foreignpolicy.com/posts/2013/04/16/saudi_national_no_lon...
From the article:
"This was a soft target. It was not a target that was able to be totally protected," he said. "This particular incident is going to cause the administration and Congress to evaluate our overall security programs around the country, particularly for major events. We can't leave it just to the communities that host these events to provide the security."
In addition to 'gun-free-zones' the senate will start a bill to introduce 'bomb-free-zones' to include all events. That should take care of that.
I am the danger.
Somebody's been watching a little too much Breaking Bad
First, I would be suspicious of anyone using USPS to contact a senator. Use your twitter account./sarc
It's like that bomb from Yemen to Detroit / Chicago? disguised as a laserjet cartridge. Because Yemen is a mecca of high tech production.
One terrorist act per day.
And just think, we still have Wed, Thurs and Friday... oh the humanity!
Mr. Mojo Ricin.
RICIN! RICIN!
I see your hair is burnin', hills are filled with fire...
"Mr. Mojo Ricin" is an anagram for Dick Cheney.
In Urdu?
Use your special "Captain Homeland" decoder ring.
i had to click the back button to rep you. took a sec to register properly.
Didn't Obama, MSNBC, CNN and the democrats want to eliminate all people deemed as supporting the tea party?
WTF does that mean?
Grow the fuck up. It's Red team Blue team shit. (I've heard this stuff on/from both sides- school-room games.)
Maybe they're trying out "The Strategy of Tension"
Just stupid. The idea that any of the Senators actually open their letters from voters - some kid intern does in between surfing for porn and downloading torrents.
It's stuff like this that makes me lean towards false flags - somebody somewhere wants and needs a diversion.
Grand observation.
Operation Gladio come home?
:)
Get your Cipro now before the rush.
Lemme guess, WH started taking it a month ago...
Cipro won't help here.
You'll know they really mean business when they actually use something communicable.
So many to choose from. Smallpox still creeps me out the most, probably because of aesthetic reasons. Also because I remember a study in which most Emergency Dept physicians weren't able to identify the hallmark symptoms of early smallpox and thus initiate what would be the best effort at containment.
Please don't suggest this! The last time this happened people were popping cipro like M&Ms and the bacteria we were isolating went from 70% sensitive to cipro to 30% within a year. You are responding to sheer fear mongering! Don't be herded by panic. You have a much greater chance dying from being hit by a meteor than Anthrax. Bio weapons are useless in large scale attacks because of dispersal of the selective agent. Yes, if you are unfortunate to closely inhale a concentrated amount of Anthrax spores you have a good chance of getting the pneumatic form which can be deadly. However if this were to happen, we have antibiotics to treat it. I work with extremely lethal bacteria and fungi every day. In my 30 year experience they have killed a few of my coworkers. Every day I respect what they are and what they could do to me if I were to let my guard down for a second. And, no I don't have a stash of cipro in my house.
Miffed;-)
Miffed: You are one of the very few on this site that has real life-saving info. Not just prepper bullshit. Don't ever go away. We would miss you, and then we would have to find you so we could come and live with you.
Sincereley, Every ZH Member!
Now that made me laugh! "We'll find you so we could come and live with you"
That's some serious threat but he's right, please don't ever leave, Miffed!
You as well Jena! I follow your posts regularly and enjoy your wit and perception. Besides, how can we leave? We are members of a selected few that can brave this pit overflowing with testosterone and not run away scared. We're a tough, tenacious bunch that chews drill bits for breakfast and I'd have it no other way. In my "real " world I have to deal with sensitivity and diversity training, implement bogus quality assurance procedures to satisfy ever changing government regulations and identify cost saving measures necessitated by obamacare. After 8 hrs of that I'm more than ready for rough and tumble reality on ZH.
Miffed;-)
Miffed, I love reading your posts and go right to one when I see it. For one, you do provide critical information of a sort that no one else here does and that's fascinating to read. (For another, I understand it and that is gratifying, I confess.) Plus your humanity shines through in your writing as well, and that makes your voice unique and a treat to follow.
You're right, we couldn't ever leave this site. Once you get a taste of ZH and find it just right, you get hooked. It's not just the information and knowledge, although that is indispensable. It's the personalities and the wit. Sometimes even the poignancy.
Ah, golly. Quality assurance. Diversity training. Sensitivity training? I've got to add these to reasons why I'm glad I'm out. I had little patience for anything that got between me and getting work done and I never hid that impatience very well.
So glad you've got the ZH bug as well. I lurked here a year before joining because I figured I would never have anything of any value to post on a financial blog. After awhile I saw this was a lot more than what I judged it to be and was amazed at the info I garnered here was unseen anywhere else.my husband teased me a lot about my posts. Even without seeing my avatar he could here my voice speaking. He felt I should develop a persona and not divulge so much about myself. I just couldn't do it. We pretend so much in our daily lives today I was hell bent not repeating that here. So he just lurks (well, mostly) and laughs at my antics. I try not to embarrass him too much but this is my gig and if he complains too much he'll just have to talk to the hand!
It's so sad my job has become so nauseating as of late. I remember the days when my ancillary projects were compiling stats for the hospital quarterly antibiogram. Or helping with double blind clinical studies on new antibiotics ( 15 years ago we did early clinical trials on Linezolid). Now it's just feeding reems of worthless paper to an ever hungry bureaucracy. But my supervisor is overwhelmed and the second in command is retiring in a year and only wants to do bench work, so I'm in the privileged position for her to offload crap. At least 75% of my work is still productive but who knows what changes obamacare will bring. You sound like you have a clinical background. Nurse? Dr? If you are out I'm envious, you're not missing much. Healthcare over the last 30 years has certainly slipped into a morass of hopelessness.
Miffed:-)
The clinical trials must have been so exciting! Compiling stats and watching trends would be interesting, too. I can certainly understand why handling paperwork would be a sad alternative. It's just not right to waste brain capacity and fine abiliity on mindless tasks just to satisfy standards made by those who answer to others who don't really care and aren't around anyhow.
I cannot imagine the dread everyone has about Obamacare. I hear from old friends about mind-blowing changes that they ascribe to it and they tell me "Just wait". A pharmacist friend (non-hospital) calls to complain about the cost of drugs every now and then. Today it was doxycycline: His cost for a bottle of 200 capsules was $600. Two months ago it was far less than that. I guess there aren't many makers anymore.
I am/was an RN (BSN). I keep my license on inactive status because who ever wants to take that test again, even if you don't think you'll ever use it or not? I worked primarily critical care in SICU and Cardiac Surgery ICU (CABG and valve replacements, mostly) but my real interest was Emergency/Trauma and besides resuscitations my best talent was triage.
I lurked here for a long time too but finally joined when I decided there were too many times that no one made the comment I thought was the obvious one to make. I don't think I've said this much about myself in one sitting though. My husband likes the ZH humor but he's too distracted to spend time here himself. He thinks I'm really smart for picking up so much from this site. I guess I have to agree.
From 1986-93 I worked graveyards as a general CLS. Most of our work was critical care and trauma. We had a whole blood analyzer I wheel in to the trauma room for quick chemistries and then manned our monitoring lab in surgery when the patients went in the surgical suite. Often we'd get stat open hearts from the cath lab when things went south. It was a very exciting time in my life but 10 hr shifts at night were very hard on me physically. I got laid off in 1993 which was a blessing in disguise because that job would have killed me eventually. I got a job in another hospital as a microbiologist and decided to specialize. I do miss the excitement of trauma though....what a rush! People i used to know at my old job are still doing it.
I am hoping I can survive obamacare. Many people are very worried about it and our hospital administration is making a lot of nebulous, " feel good" statements about it which worries me even worse. I am fortunate that microbiologists are in very short supply now so I have that going for me. Like everyone else we're just hunkering down and waiting to see what happens.
Thanks for telling me about yourself. It's interesting to hear about people's private lives here. Sometimes what I imagine about someone is so completely off it's funny. The trouble is when you get snippets of people your mind,unbeknownst to you, starts to build what it believes that person is. An unfortunate attribute of blog interaction. But it has been great getting to know you and I really think we medical people do have vital info that can be helpful to others here.
Miffed:-)
Angus, I would be honored to be included in the ZH going Galt contingent! Can you imagine what a motley crew that would be? Unfortunately many people are swayed by microbiological fears here and scoff at sheeple who respond in fear to financial news. I'm just trying to shine the light of truth about this issue which is in my line of expertise. So it's kind of a return of favor when people here allay my financial worries about my PM holdings.
We all need to help each other in these truly dark times.
Miffed;-)
Miffed: You are honoured (Canadian spelling) period! It is a gift to all ZH members that you instantly dispell the bullshit about fish mox and other anti bios I asked you about months ago. Curative drugs in the hands of idiots are like giving matches & gas to an arsonist.
I can't thank you enough for your excellent advice!
So... when do we all move in with you??? (strong hint to follow...)
Just kidding.
In the tradition of California communes we welcome you Angus.
Now don't give Miffed ideas about having more hands on the ranch. She already has too many items on my to-do list for this year.
Miffed is quite the partier and I suspect she would invite you all by for a BBQ if you happened to be on our side of the coast.
Well, well... there is a Mr. Miffed with a ZH account. Pleasure to meet you Sir!
I can tell Mrs. Miffed is a partier just from her participation on this forum and her latest response to Jena. All the best to both of you. The first gold nugget I dig this year will go to Mrs. Miffed.
BC Rocky Mountain gold...
PS: You're welcome to come help us dig and find the shiny stuff. Cranbrook BC area. (Edit) on a 150 acre PRIVATE claim.
We might take you up on that Angus. The old homestead was in Spokane and our daughter is currently employed there. Should we visit her we might have to stop by.
Excellent. If you find yourselves in BC during the simmer, we might arrange something if our schedules permit. We'll have to do a private chat via ZH before we can start contacting each other via email/phone, etc. I checked my contact list on ZH. I have Mrs. Miffed on it. I will try to initiate a private chat. Stay tuned.
Well, I can't figure out how to do private chats or anything on ZH. So here goes... I'll post a reserve address I keep and when the spammers hit it I will no longer use until I filter out your reply. Best to reply with your own dummy email address if you have one. Sorry, I use Tor when surfing ZH so I'm not sure if it's blocking chat or other functions. Anyway, here's my email: silverstuff@hush.com.
Angus (By the way, Banzai7 knows me and I'm sure he will vouch for me if necessary).
Sent you an email ;-)
Miffed;-)
A precious, a shiny dug raw from the earth for me? Something I could hold in my hand? Be still my shaking heart, my knees quiver! Mr miffed always brings me a coin ( fetched from an unnamed river from an unnamed location) to hold when I feel sad and lost in these times. Just feeling it grounds me back to reality. What a treat. Just the thought makes me smile. You are truly fortunate to have access to such a place.
Miffed;-)
Why just for once can't they mail these things to people like Bloomberg or Fienstein on the first pass.
Because harmful false flags are meant for the sheep. Those meant for the ruling class are intercepted.
MOAR Homeland Security required. Double the budget immediately! My kitten feels threatened.
What's the fucking point of all this shit? Somebody tell me.
Casus fucking belli!
(upon you)
To keep the sheep in line and the Spice flowing. Don't ever ever cut spending on the police state again!
Don't belive anything until Chris Matthews gives us a heads up.....
Chris Matthews gives head?
Of course he does. Look at the size of the head on him. How could he not "give head"?
lol..."Domestic terrorists tend to be from the far right"
King of the drive by media....
Like a champ. Or at least that is what Obama said.
"Ricin-O-Roni... the Washington DC treat"!
That was funny/ +1
You never go full retard.
I'd make a snarky comment about bio-weapons scientists committing suicide, but why bother? I made the mistake of watching the pre-match hype for Thatcher's funeral and the London Marathon.
I'm going to leave you with a relevant XKCD. Watch out for when people realise what the real worldTM could be like if all the smart people joined the party of "not giving a shit" instead of "making things work" (hint: leading French Revolutionaries were mainly Lawyers).
p.s. On the plus side, I was told by a friend that her Mother had rung her tonight to ask about Cyprus and gold, and why the Telegraph was saying it was all being manipulated. This is a woman who owns horses, she's not sophisticated, but it's sure as hell reached the chattering classes.
"This is a woman who owns horses, she's not sophisticated, but it's sure as hell reached the chattering classes."
HUH?
What the hell does "sophisticated" mean? And if someone owns cows they CAN be sophisticated, just not the horse owners?
Listen, I have no interest in protecting horse people (just logic), my wife and I call horses "home-wreckers," but this is an utterly stupid statement. Recently someone nearby was selling a used horse trailer for $65,000! I don't know about you, but I'd hardly think that someone that has a trailer that's this much is some poor, stupid trash. (not that one has to have money to be smart)
It was a snark @ GS. "Sophisticated" vrs "Everyone who isn't GS", with reference to "who fucking profits if Cyprus gets shafted on gold prices". Nothing more; I'm well aware of the wealth of horse owners, otherwise why the hell would she be worrying about gold prices or have enough free time for either horses or chattering?!
>I think this is an British <> American translation issue, btw. Might want to Google "chattering classes" to help the understanding, it has a specific meaning in the UK; there's extra added snark for the Brit readers knowing that most of the actual "chattering classes" hate horse owners and Hunting and all that "Tory Rural Classism", which is why I referenced the Telegraph, but I really didn't expect you to bite that. Owning a horse in the UK is considered enough of a status symbol that grooms will work themselves to the bone just to own one, and lonely females often spend 90% of their disposable cash on their pet / companion; this understates the socio and societal reasons for loving your horse, but I fear I'm drunk and digressing...
So.. Yes, the States are different in this regard, but hell, so is Argentina. (groan): "Hold em horses cowboy, these ain't the beans you're looking for".
Green'd for the challenge anyhow, and full expo given so both of us can call it equal.
"Recently someone nearby was selling a used horse trailer for $65,000! I don't know about you, but I'd hardly think that someone that has a trailer that's this much is some poor, stupid trash. (not that one has to have money to be smart"
My former neighbor was selling his McMansion for $1m, right up until the bank took it a couple of yrs after he stopped paying the mortgage.
He hadn't worked up to pretending he could sell a horse trailer for $65k though.
In the UK they have horseboxes,which are similar to motorhomes. Here's a link to prices for used ones. A 2006 model could be yours for a mere 180,000 British Pounds.
http://www.horseboxes.com/hgv-stock.php
Horse trailers usually come with horses, and horses reqiure property. I have folks running around with semis pulling horse trailers- it's their personal stuff hauling their own horses etc, not someone else's (as in business).
But anyway... whether one has horses or not does NOT mean that they're stupid (although I tend to believe that it's not smart to have horses, not unless they can provide actual positive cash-flow, something pretty rare).
....real worldTM could be like if all the smart people joined the party of "not giving a shit"...
Smart people increasingly stopped giving a shit sometime around 2005 when it became obvious that mamagers believe that IQ's/skills are additive: A team of 5 random indians are just as good as one trained engineer or software developer or whatever - and cheaper, a.k.a. Better.
Then the smart people adopted Lenin's "worse is better" ideology.
I wrote a suggestion to the minister of education that they should create a university-level study in "Victimology", because "It is vitally important in multi-cutural society to be able to decide who the victim is in any situation, to acurately determine who is discriminated against". If for example a gay bashes a muslim, who is the most guilty part? What if the muslim is a women who bashes gay men, what if the bashed gay is black but jewish, e.t.c.
Maybe they will consider it.
Another thing is that society could definetely save money on child-care by using cameras and machine intelligence in schools and kindergarten to detect when one of the children is bashed on the head by another child or someone stops twitching? We could dramatically improve the carer-response-effectiveness by installing the Victimology-logick(tm).
The possibilites from smart people having lots of free time doing menial jobs are endless, stop caring and start griefing - seing how things are going, deceptively good advice is the new trend ;-).
They tried to kill Roger Whittaker?!? Those BASTARDS! They'll be after Slim Whitman next, destroying the very FOUNDATIONS of Folk/Country music and professional whistling that have made this country great! Oh, the humanity...
so the bush crime syndicate pulled a retread trick on senators who may not be enamored with the nazification of america.....and they trotted out the imbecile peter king - nazi extraordinaire - to warn congress not to cut funding of police thugs...i am so sick of these low rent twits and their childish scare tactics...
the cia is the world's biggest and only terrorist organization.
and supported by the Rothschild Banking Syndicate
"the cia is the world's biggest and only terrorist organization."
There! That's how me move things forward, get away from the school-level Party shit and look toward where things really come from!
P.S. The CIA isn't the only terrorist organization, just the most powerful (Mossad might be the most successful given their size).
Also California?
Nationwide Terror Attacks? Boston, California, D.C.?
Umm, George... Your article is mostly hype and no substance. Shit happens in Chicago every day that everyone ignores that is far worse than what happened in your article. No need to panic(os) yet. Keep us posted.
I wonder if it is the same strain as the guy who committed suicide? If not maybe the FBI did not get their man?
Where is Dudly DoRight when you need him?
Where's Dudley?... He's fucking Nell by the side of the railroad tracks after defeating Snidley Whiplash and foiling his plans!
You need to watch more porn cartoons.
Silly question, BUT WHAT DID THE LETTER SAY?
And ricin has to be ingested, inhaled, or absorbed, so was is weaponized?
The anthrax letter scare was never solved, and this might not be either,
Was never prosecuted. It was solved, alright.
It was "solved" with a suicide of one of the leading American bio-weapons scientists.
Where the fuck is Scooby when you need him?
(Yes; telegraphing the snark into the obvious tonight. It's for the non-ZH crew)
Whatever it takes to scare the sheep!
Isn't it a shame that an abomination like Kermit Gosnell isn't considered a terrorist by the media.
CNN, real reputable source. Must be true!
Barney Frank
Nancy Pelosi
Who should the ricin have gone to instead?
Swinestein.
McCain.
Graham.
Reid.
Death by a thousand tiny cuts here we come.
Sorry, but I have too many e-mail accounts and every once I just feel like being a smartass on the spamcatchers. Hopefully it is worth a chuckle at least for you.
I regret to inform you that we are already "rich" and don't need any more of your kind of money unless it is gold bullion. We are part of the United States Bureau of Printing and Engraving and we have Predator drones at our disposal. Take that as official state notice the next time you consider spamming us.http://www.moneyfactory.gov/
Manipuflation: LOL... I saw you post an email address a day or so ago and I almost went into cardiac arrest thinking, "how fucking dumb is he"?... until I read the email again. If I recall, it had something to do with boating accidents? L-O-Fucking-L!
Good Job!
Thank you for the kind words. I have the option to SEO but I'm not going to. I'm not selling anything and I don't want it to be that way for now. Think of that site as an IPO. I will give writer status to anyone who emails me and wants to post. I reserve the right to moderate if need be but I am not big on censorship.
There are a lot of very good writers and intelligent people on ZH. If you have an idea for my boating accident site let's hear it... I own the site and domain in case anyone cares. For some of you it might be a good chance to practice writing a blog. I would especially recommend trying to blog at the rate ZH does!LOL
If interested, I will give almost any ZHer the permissions to post there. There has to be a niche in there somewhere between ZH and the Onion? Let's just admit it, we are pretty much an interminable bunch.
Manipuflation: You can expect a visit from me. I've got a story to tell you. And fuck SEO. Keep your boating accidents private and away from prying Googly eyes!
Cheers
Write it my friend. I can't wait to see it.
Apparently, someone's not happy with Mississippi polititians. Five have died recently, very mysteriously...
Dude looks like an avian version of George Bush Jr. No wonder people don't like him.
Senator Roger Wicker voted yes on 4/11/13 to advance the Senate's gun control bill:
Maybe someone in Miss'sippi was not pleased?
They announced all congressional mail is suspended. Does that give congress enough cover to go for gun control so they don't have to hear from constituents? Knowing people forget about anything in about 3 episodes of American Idol, let alone upcoming elections several months/years away.
alternatively, maybe the Ricin was a quick followup to the international terrorism in Boston, to shift focus off of that back to domestic terrorism. Hey, look over here! Maybe that was the case w/ the anthrax years ago as well.
Roger Wicker is a Republican...
Some interesting facts...
Ft Hood~~~ Registered Democrat ~ Muslim
Columbine ~~~ Too young to vote; both families were registered Democrats and progressive liberals
Virginia Tech ~~~ Wrote hate mail to President Bush and to his staff ~ Registered Democrat
Colorado Theater ~~~ Registered Democrat; staff worker on the Obama campaign; Occupy Wall Street participant; progressive liberal
Connecticut School Shooter- ~~~ Registered Democrat; hated Christians,
Common thread is that all of these shooters were progressive liberal Democrats."
INTERESTING, isn't it?
Don't forget the loon from my own state that shot Giffords: democrat, and worked on her campaign.
Yet the medias and the obamabots will say all day that it's right wing extremists. Lulz.
Wanna bet it's a FALSE POSITIVE???
Bullshit
Bullshit
Quick everybody run out and buy a roll of plastic and some duct tape!
I don't see anybody picking up on the possible big story here. Last month Rep. Jessica Upshaw-MS was found dead in her driveway, supposedly a suicide after having a relaxing day with her boyfriend:
http://www.clarionledger.com/article/20130325/NEWS01/303250030/More-deta...
Someone from Mississippi commented on one of the articles that there has been 5 'suspicious' deaths of political leaders down there within the last few months. I can't find any supporting data, but maybe someone from Mississippi might know more.
Someone else said it had to do with spending BP's payout money, but I'm not a local so I don't know what the score is. I hate to post anecdotal evidence, but this might be something.
Now that Senator Wicker-MS, was sent ricin, I think the story might be worth looking into. Not BP, but whoever might be losing out on BP money.
