Here’s a question that might have you pondering: Is gold a commodity? More importantly, are we doing a disservice to the gold industry by calling gold a commodity? These may sound like silly...

Major 7.8 Earthquake Strikes Iran Leaves "Hundreds Dead"; Follows 6.1 Quake From Week Ago

Tyler Durden's picture

It was only a week ago that Iran was shaken by a major 6.1 earthquake, striking just 100 km away from the Busher nuclear power plant: a location so "opportune" some, so inclined, saw in this phenomenon anoter demonstration of the HAARP's capabilities. Those same people will then hardly be surprised to learn that moments ago the entire middle east, from Dubai to Delhi, shook in the aftermath of yet another massive earthquake, this time measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale, which once again was located as the USGS reports, some 86 km East South East of Khash, Iran. According to preliminary reports, the USGS says there is possibility of heavy damage in area of epicenter, and an estimated 359,000 people felt very strong to severe shaking. USGS also estimates that 16K may have felt 'severe' shaking, 343K 'very strong' shaking, 1.7M 'strong' shaking; 1.1M 'moderate' shaking. An Iranian official was promptly on the tape saying hundreds of dead expected from quake in southeast of country, even as the Russian company that built the Busher NPP saying there was no damage from the quake. How much more shaking can either the existing Iranian nuclear power plant, or the much maligned nuclear facility in Fordow, sustain before they go off in a big glowing mushroom cloud: that is the question.

From Al Jazeera:

A magnitude 7.8 earthquake has struck southeastern Iran near the border with Pakistan, reportedly killing at least 40 people with casualties expected to rise.

The US Geological Survey reported on Tuesday that the epicentre of the quake was 86km southeast of Khash, Iran.

The Iranian news agency FARS is reporting 40 initial casualties.

An Iranian government official said on Tuesday he expected hundreds of deaths from the earthquake.

"It was the biggest earthquake in Iran in 40 years and we are expecting hundreds of dead," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Al Jazeera's Saira Jaffer, reporting from Islamabad, said tremors were felt across Karachi and Balochistan.

Many buildings in Karachi were reportedly evacuated.

Also reporting from Islamabad, Imtiaz Tyab said that so far there have been no reported casualties in Pakistan.

In the Indian capital New Delhi, tall buildings shook sending people running into the streets, witnesses told Reuters.

Across the Gulf, people also evacuated shaking buildings in Qatar and Dubai, residents said. Dubai has the world's tallest tower, the 828-metre Burj Khalifa.

Last week, a 6.3 magnitude earthquake also hit Iran killing at least 37 people and injuring 850 more in the country's southwest.

In December 2003, a big earthquake struck the southern city of Bam. It killed 31,000 people - about a quarter of the population - and destroyed the city's ancient mud-built citadel.

It's not even the type of catastophe which would occur if Bushehr or Fordow sustained significant damage. Initially, the worst case outcome for an earthquake (or a bombing*) at either site would be another radioactive festering sore in the earth's crust, similar to or worse than Fukushima Daiichi.

The question of whether or not the radioactivity could be contained will determine the likelihood of a secondary catastrophe. Lacking containment, radioactive contamination would eventually spread to the entire Persian Gulf region. Bearing the brunt due to prevailing winds, along with Iran, would be Pakistan, India, Oman, the UAE, and the Strait of Hormuz. Over the course of a year, though, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and the oil producing/shipping regions of Arabia would all be tasting it.

Life would suddenly be quite different.

*If the damage were to be the result of a military attack, you would also see the responsible parties running around shrieking that nobody could have known the unintended consequences would be so bad.

What does HAARP have to do with earthquakes? HAARP deals with the atmosphere.

According to some here..., HAARP uses invisible ray guns that cause earthquakes and,or tidal waves, etc., etc., to attack otherwise peaceloving peoples around the globe.

Go figure...

I believe it sends radio frequency levels into the Ionosphere.  The Nano particles of Aluminum and Barium from the Chem Trails and weather engineering may or may not also play a role.

So if I'm reading you chaps correctly, an earthquake in the middle east region is not a naturally occurring geological event, but is actually produced by a CIA earthquake machine?

Please, go on

Angels Don't Play This HAARP is a video well worth an hour of your time. You will ROFL at the two guys running this insanely powerful Tesla machine.

Aside from heating the ionsphere which can control the weather, it can also send Ultra Low Frequency waves thru the earth 'to communicate with submarines'. Hence the earthquake inducing theory.

Then there's always crazy coincidences that add fuel to the fire.

2004 Bam, Iran Quake and 2005 Indonesia Tsunami Quake occured exactly one year, 58 minutes apart

The times are from USGS.

What are the odds that two of the biggest disasters of the century, killing tens of thousands, occured almost exactly a year apart... on Dec 26 their time, or Dec 25th around noon Alaska Time.

You must be so disappointed that they canned the 'cyberwarrior' medal. My only question is, are you aware that you're a tool, or do you really believe that working to suppress intelligent conversation is somehow good for America?

My guess, you're a twenty-something kid in a warzone. and they tell you if you're a good 'cyberwarrior' you won't have to go on patrol... Wake up kid, the nazis didn't lose, they just came to America, and now you're working for them.

Lesson #1: This Technology Really Does Exist.

Read the paper by high ranking military officers titled, Owning the Weather by 2020. They state that, "with the technology currently available, the US can control the weather by 2020"... they just have to implement it... This report was around '95 I think... they started chemtrails and HAARP soon after.

Now consider that we were cloud seeding in Vietnam... attempting to control the weather.... now 40 years later, all we hear about is global warming and the monster hurricanes and tornadoes that are sure to happen, but why aren't we seeding clouds, etc to prevent them? Why isn't our grand "President" bringing up this report and telling us how he will order the military to diffuse the next big hurricane?

In short, learn up and stop being a cybertool.

america and it's secret weapons,... yeah?!

the chinese were working on the atomic bomb... the ussr already had one, the japanese thought of them as barbaric [ironic as it sounds], and, if hitler had listened to his generals and waited eighteen [postpone evasion's] months, the germans would have had braun's missle's ready to deliver the abombs!!!

timing, timing,... timing,........

today's espionage trail, tells us that every nation has a secret weapon... and as far as america pulling another 'cat-out-of-the-bag' ... don't hold your breath?

our state department is swarming with chinese, and russian spys, and as far as the pentagon is concerned it might as we'll be a 'United Nation's MIC Warehouse' for the highest bidder!!!

we got nuttin-- cus, when the big one goes off, we're all fucking... sooner rather than later, dead, period!

The magnitude of the scale for earthquakes is based on a logrithmic output. The differnce between an earthquake at 6.1 and 7.8 is the latter is nearly 100 times more powerful. An earthw\quake reading 7.8 on the Richter scale is a fucking whopper.
