Massive Fertilizer Plant Explosion Shakes Texas, Town Evacuated, Toxic Fumes, Up To 70 Dead - Live Stream

Tyler Durden's picture

In the aftermath of the Boston horrors, a massive explosion has occurred at a fertlizer plant in the town of West, Texas (near Waco). This week is the 20th anniversary of the deadly seige in Waco. There are at least 10 other buildings are on fire, including the town middle school, and a large swath of the town was “leveled” in the explosion. The explosion occurred around 7:50pm local time. A fireball of nearly 100 feet high has been reported along with a massive power outage. The images and scale of this explosion are incredible and reports are coming in people still trapped. The explosion could be heard from 100 miles away in Dallas. The explosion followed the outbreak of a fire at the plant - and occurred as firefighters were working on the blaze.

UPDATE: Entire town (within a mile radius) to be evacuated - toxic fumes may be spreading

UPDATE: Hospital told to anticipate 100 people with injuries, Hospital CEO tells CNN

UPDATE: Up To 70 Dead, 38 seriously injured included blast injuries, orthopedic injuries, large wounds and a lot of lacerations and cuts.

UPDATE: *AS MANY AS 80 HOMES DESTROYED IN TEXAS FERTILIZER BLAST: CNN

CNN Reports from Dr. George Smith, the emergency management system director of the city:

Fire officials fear that the number of casualties could rise as high as 60 to 70 dead,

"That's a really rough number, I'm getting that figure from firefighters, we don't know yet," he said.

"There are lots of houses that are leveled within a two-block radius," Smith said. "A lot of other homes are damaged as well outside that radius."

"It was an apartment complex that was devastated, and the nursing home. The fire was close to a residential area,"

And from the Mayor:

"There's a lot of people who won't be here
tomorrow
"

"Blast 'took out' a five-block radius"

Stunning clip of the explosion (at around 25 seconds)

By any chance was Geitner, Shapiro, Thain, Corizine, Mozilo, Lewis, Paulson, Bernank, Fuld, Moynihan etc in the building?

Perhaps these are the WHITE MALE TERRORISTS obama is looking for, with the exception of Mozilo who is orange.  I've been informed that Geithner may be trans species, as well.

Garden supplies (fertilizer), canning supplies (pressure cookers) and shooting supplies (black powder) all on prepper's list of must have items.  The false flags are coming at light speed.  Add to that, PM markets continue to be slammed down and even the real estate and stock market bubbles are showing weakness.  The shit clouds are gathering....

Indeed.  Can't wait to see what "stuff" they "find" with the perp(s) in Boston.  Whatever it is, it will have to be immediately banned and confiscated.

Going after the uber-left Prez and an R-Senator is a dead give-away that this is engineered to require broad "reforms".  I'm getting down to the very last "to dos" on my checklist...

(p.s. for those of you who I've promised Scotch and other fine delicacies in a SHTF situation, your shares are well...)

Down arrow for you for using chemical fertilizer.  Horseshit is the best available, and until this farce collapses, it looks to be in high supply.  Obviously in jest; the DC brand of horseshit plainly can't be employed for anything useful.  But cow shit is almost as good, and is 100 times better for both your food and your land than big ag lazy spread.

Until 2008 I had only ever tried to be a productive member of society... I skipped college to invent things, started three business, employed 30 people in the US and another 100+ in China.

But then with that crash, I realized something had changed and I took it upon myself to learn how the world really works, because I sensed that my survival suddenly depended on it. After stewing on material like 0H, Atlas Shrugged, Chris Martenson, and /r/collapse for a year... I packed up, left CA, sold my nice house for a staggering loss, moved to the woods of Appalachia, and put in solar/garden/chickens.

I watch this shit going down now and it doesn't shock me any more. I watch how people respond with flags waving, and I understand it all now. I see it all coming... not the specifics per se but the overall endgame is clear to me and all I do now is hug my kids tight and nuke some popcorn.

They might eventually wake up to the fact that there are over a hundred such stores of potential energy sandwiched between the Han River and and the DMZ, but not until they have a live shot of one of their officially sanctioned victim classes being being vaporized by the crazy boy with the bad haircut.

Strap your heart in a bit tighter.  Truly tough times are ahead.  However, the part to which you refer did bother me as well, but for a different reason.  You ever heard a loud explosion?  Your ears don't recover for a few minutes.  Think about it, a six (or eight or whatever age she is) kid who has never had this experience will panic, as they don't realize that it requires a few minutes for the ears to recover natural function.  What does dad do?  Drops the camera, "oh shit, oh shit" and that's the last we heard.  Does he try to talk to her?  Does he try to discover if she just has the natural impermanent or something worse?  No, he apparently panics as bad as she did.  The kid (unless the school counselor gets hold of her) will probably recover nicely.  The fact that dad was either clueless or didn't care about the kid bothers me far more.

Here's a warning from yesterday, before this explosion and the Obama ricin letter.  Wonder what else might be coming?

The Feast of Moloch is coming up on April 19-20.  On this holiday, Illuminati occultists may sacrifice children by fire in order to gain more power from the false flag.  They did it with Waco and Oklahoma City at the very least.

Boston cops had a knee-jerk reaction to the old enemy (Arabs).  They didn't get the memo about patriots being the new Public Enemy #1.  Patriot's Day, tax day, gunpowder, Boston, exploding pressure cookers.  It's all very symbolic.  Whoever did it put a lot of thought into it, and is smart enough not to leave obvious tracks, but is not smart enough to realize that this bombing plays right into the government's hands.  It doesn't make sense for a real patriot to do this.  That's why I think it was a false flag and there will be another one on April 19.  TPTB don't want to catch the terrorist just yet.  Maybe this is the start of a Gladio-style "strategy of tension" with a long series of attacks (perhaps the ricin is part of this?)  The idea is to dominate the news for as long as it takes to browbeat the people into giving up the last of their freedoms.

The patsy will be a conservative, nationalistic, white, Christian, veteran, Obama hating, middle class tax protester who selfishly wants to hoard metals and guns instead of giving them to Obama so he can help the poor children.

Leaderless resistances are impossible to stop.  Seemingly random acts with no clear MO make it even more difficult.  It can lead to folks accepting a clampdown - but, the problem is, the more unsafe Americans feel, a substantial number get more interested in protecting themselves.  I have neighbors asking me about buying/keeping guns now and getting more organized with our neighborhood watch, etc.

It'll be interesting to see if new "boogie man" comes out of this or not.  If these are coordinated, events this small are going to need to be very frequent to have a large mass effect.

"Odd. In 2001 there were the Twin Towers, Anthrax, and Flight 587.

2013: Boston, Ricin, fertilizer plant in Texas.

Always in 3's. WTF?"

There's no WTF about it.  Planned mayhem always obeys numerological rules- not because numerology means anything, but because the planners believe in numerology.  3 is the number of Saturn, or death, and 333 is the number of Choranzon, the god of chaos.

Keep in mind that no one will do something that they percieve as wrong- that's suicide.  When people do evil things, they always have a justification in their own mind.  The further that action is from the common view of good or evil, the more Byzantine the justification.  The convoluted half-rules of numerology allow a person to justify anything at all, so they can do whatever they want and maintain some degree of personal sanity by assigning blame to a higher power.  In previous times, this was a god- but gods have commandments for their followers, while numbers are amoral.

"In 2001, an explosion at a chemical plant killed 31 people and injured more than 2,000 in Toulouse, France. The blast occurred in a hangar containing 300 tons of ammonium nitrate, which can be used for both fertilizer and explosives. The explosion came 10 days after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in the U.S., and raised fears at the time it was linked. A 2006 report blamed the blast on negligence."

Maybe,,,,add this to your pile......catastrophic server crash wipes 400 gigs of Defense docs....they recover all but 7 gigs (98+%).....which just happens to be the ones they need for the 9/11 hearings.....

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-04-17/sept-11-hearings-delayed-until-june-after-computer-crash.html

Five days of hearings scheduled for next week in the case of the accused plotters of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks were postponed after defense lawyers said internal documents went missing on government computers.

The judge, Army Colonel James Pohl, postponed the hearings until mid-June in a two-page order posted today.

Lawyers for the accused plotters requested the delay last week after complaining that their confidential work was inexplicably missing from the U.S. Defense Department computers on which they store documents.

Army Lt. Colonel Todd Breasseale, a Pentagon spokesman, said in a statement that the Office of Military Commissions, which is prosecuting the case, “suffered from a nearly catastrophic server ‘crash’” that led to “losses of indiscriminate data.” Of almost 400 gigabytes of data initially lost, “seven gigabytes have yet to be accounted for,” he said.
