I remember 9/11. I saw myself watching the hit to the 2nd tower (I thought at the moment it was live broadcasting, but it wasn't) and thinking "no way such a "terrorist attack" can be performed in the US which has the most powerful defence system in the World. This has to be an inside job".
Then I saw ("live broadcasting") the nose of the plain emerging from the other side of the building and I understood I was right.
We all know what went on next. People responsible for all that shit is free and richer.
Now we see all of this shit in Boston. Who knows what's coming.

Last night beautiful blonde girl with abc news was forced to the ground at gunpoint because police thought she might be a terrorist. Everyone is a suspect. These dudes are dangerous, but they were using pots and pans. Did they have rocket launchers? WHere they exeperienced soldiers? NO. So what happens when real foreign troops actually do something? Not good. WIll Boston now go bankrupt do to shutdown? HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?
What if they are locking down Boston (come on, National Guard?!?) because there's some device hidden?

had an uneasy moment comparing it to nazis searching for prisoners escaped from colditz and another when i saw the 40 police lined up outside the station with ak47's and another when i saw the hundreds of vehicles and thousands of security personnel with all sorts of equipment, snipers, helmets, bullet proof vests to shut down an entire city of a million people..
security force claims that the kid(s) had every intention of blowing themselves up with bombs tied to their bodies when the best they could come up with was a dirty pressure cook/pipe bomb at the marathon..
proportionate response much? hey already shot the elder 26 yo brother and the 19 yo got away?
i am not suggesting that lending the kids just one of the cars for a weekend as part of a "closer community" effort by police (that are now being used searching for them) might have prevented the marathon bomb neither am i suggesting the kid(s) do not deserve incarceration and the inevitable brutalization they will suffer in the prison they will be sent to, if they aren't shot dead first.
no point wondering if the kid(s) would have turned themselves in or surrendered without the full body press of what 6,000 armed security people trying to place them in crosshairs?..
the security effort is predicated on escalation which seems to me to provoke the "cornered animal" survival response ..with further tragedies on the way to a "final solution" and that is on top of the bomb dead and the cop.
i just hope this doesn't inspire another "rodney king" moment from other frustrated, stupid and disilluioned copy cats.

Most of them Democrats and more than happy to trade their arms away for empty promises of security by the State. And now look what's happened. What if this guy shows up at any one of their doors? in the 1968 riots I was 13 years old and remember dad coming home from the factory where they had been burning down buildings around the plant. A woman had had her finger cut off when a mob stopped her car and wanted to steal her wedding ring.
