Yes we might be at war with Muslim terrorists, but we are also at war with those who wish to disarm and oppress us. Most are liberals and Democrats, but by no means all.
I'm from Wisconsin, born and raised. My Granddad moved here from Austria so that he could immediately join the military and go back to fight the Nazis- who turned a family tree into a spear. Grandma came here from Ireland, and worked tirelessly to help start the god-awful "Progressive" movement. I've lost a half-dozen kin to foreign wars, and have dozens of friends with nerve damage and PTSD from Iraq (both campaigns,) Afganistan, and South American campaigns supporting the "war" on drugs.

What do I do? I fight. Every single day, and in every way I can. That includes this thread, where I am asking you not to get in line to wave the stars 'n' bars.
I am a design engineer, and in my neck of the woods, that means defense work or unemployment. So, given that choice, I work for a company that has specialized in cooling systems for radars and missile defense systems.
I don't always know what I'm working on, and that keeps me up at night with a burning pain in my guts, but when I do, if it's offensive rather than defensive in nature, I refuse to participate- even if it means my job. Luckily, I'm pretty good at what I do, so it hasn't come down to standing in an unemployment line yet. Someday it will, and I'm at peace with that.
I'm no fool- the world is a dangerous place, and I've been in my share of ugly incidents on a personal level. But I am not willing to sell my soul to psychopaths because they said that a tribe of goat-herders on the other side of the world hates me for my free-dumbs. I have far more in common with a guy who operates a roadside fruit stand in Baghdad than I do with the oligarchs who have stolen my country, and I will not, and do not consent to line up for my chance to murder innocents.
As far as your last four questions go, they're red herrings. The answer is no, I do not agree to commit genocide on muslims any more than I would agree to indiscriminately kill christians or bhuddists (lower case intentional.) But that's only part of the story- if I know who committed an act of violence against myself or my loved ones, I repay that act in equal measure, and the law be damned.
But if you're keeping score, the muslims reportedly took down two buildings I have never seen, and killed three joggers. Not nice things to do, but when you weigh that against the theft of the freedoms my own family has fought and died for by the very people who swore to uphold them, "we" have a lot more to answer for.
I'm not afraid of terrorists- they're beaten, poverty-stricken bedraggled people with dirt-bikes and AK-47s in a desert on the other side of the world. They can only kill "our boys" because we send them there and put them next to the IEDs. I *am* afraid of my countrymen and my government, who will jump at any chance to wave the flag to obscure the fact that they are killing me and my family. We're not just collateral damage, we used to be patriots- we are, to a man, a family line that owns property, pays taxes (in excess of benefits recieved) and volunteers to strengthen and support our communities. Every member of my family used to be middle-class- now I'm the last, and only by the slimmest of threads. How do you feel, watching your family be murdered for the sake of the political and banking classes?
Let me put this a different way- though I spend the majority of my time modeling and creating drawings for manufacture, I do put in several hours a week as a backup IT tech. Clearing virii, updating firmware, swapping out failing hardware, shit like that. It's not glamorous, but it needs to be done, and I know how to do it.
What I've seen, over the last decade or so, is that people are terrified of viruses- they're like a combination of satan and a serial killer in most peoples' minds. But what I've seen, and know to be true, is that the real problem is less often virii than virus scanners. A virus runs a script in the background that uses a trivial amount of bandwidth and processor power to do something that is usually stupid, and they're not that difficult to kill ala carte when they start to bug you.
A virus scanner, on the other hand, will (in the name of your safety, of course) happily consume 90% of your RAM and processor clock speed to ensure that your computer only has the sniffles on days that end in "y". If you're not metaphorically digging through sewage with your computer, the scanner is far worse for performance than any virus around.
But that's not the point, is it? Safety isn't a matter of logic or actuarial calculations- it's an emotional issue, and a clever man can use that to make you pay for the cure that is making you more sick. Set down your flag, and take notice.

You're mistaken; of course we have terrorists living in the US. Our post-1965 immigration policy has brought most of the world's regional conflicts and instabilities to our shores. And at the same time, our military, State Dept. and CIA are busy stirring conflicts in these same regions.
But in case you miss the connection between the loss of our liberty, multiculturalism and immigration I'll give you a quote from former German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt...

I agree. Who really is responsible? We use the terrorists to take down dictators we kept propped up for years. Then we kill the rebels. Then we get pissed when they attack us. But we are still Americans. It seems we used to be able to elect leaders that had moral character, that had a sense of patriotism and nationalism. Now...it's gone. This country has changed. We no longer trust our leaders. We no longer trust our government to make the right decisions. I am not blind. Their motive is Islam and the Umma. Our's is world domination by a few technocrats, elites, fascists, socialists, communists...the enemy of my enemy is my friend. This game is played all over the world. So Croesus...what is the answer? Why don't you wake up first, then we'll deal with the religious extreemists.
If i can't get you, someone living in a comfortable life in a safe country with every luxury available - i don't expect to get through to someone living in poverty, being attacked for the last decade, watching their family and friends die and only having their religion to hold on to.
But, if we can start by waking up the people who still have a lot to lose, then we'll be more likely to approach the people who have already lost everything with peace rather than more destruction.
None of us win in this, not them, not us. It's only the money makers that are winning this - and they play both sides equally.
Wake up, step out.
That's the only thing that needs to happen on the indivudal level and that will change the collective faster than any fight will.
