The older brother was questioned by the FBI in 2011 on the request of a foreign nation concerned about his links to Muslim terror movements in that nation. This clearly must be Russia and their concern over his links to Chechen terrorists.
It now appears the older brother had posted lots of social media that pointed to Muslim extremism and support for Jihad.
The mother of the two was arrested for shop lifting in Boston a few years back. She gave an interview to RT in Moscow where she called the FBI out for harrassing her kids. She called them innocent and persecuted. She said someone set them up, i.e. this is a flase flag
The family came to America as part of the US program of support for the Chechen fighters who were trying to take over Chechnya and convert it from a secular Russian republic into a Muslim terror state. The US instituted a program, after the Russian army defeated the Muslim terror groups, to allow many chechens with links to the opposition groups to enter the USA as refugees. This points to the US support for Chechen seperatists being a cause of this blow back event.
The Chechen terror movement is little know inside the USA, but in Russia the Muslim Jihadists from Chechnya have carried out numerous bombings and shootings. Including some of the worst terror attacks in history. The worst being the school they took over, killing hundreds of kids. And the Moscow theater kidnappings. Plus Airport and subway bombings in Moscow.
The FBI might have gone easy on the older brother because they didn't want to look like they were supporting Russian claims about the US harboring Chechen terrorists. If so, they will try and cover that up now that freedom loving chechen heros are blowing up Americans, instead of Russians

From the various interviews with his friends who all say there was no indication of terrorist leanings and he was in everyway a likeable, smart, funny and good person - to my reading of his tweets - he was a kid. His tweets look like my 19-year-old nephew's tweets - mostly inane and a lot of references to girls, popular music, parties and athletics with a few existential meanderings and references to weed.
The fact the FBI admitted that they interviewed his older brother after his mother went on national tv and indicated the FBI had been in contact with the family over the past five years is significant in my opinion.
I don't know if this kid got caught up in something originating with his older brother or they were both set up. Or something else. I hope we find out the truth but am doubtful that we will but glad there is a chance if he lives the night.

As Infowars reports -- and I may not necessarily cite them but for the fact that the pattern has been demonstrated time and time again -- the Boston Bomber the Younger had been manipulated and harassed by the FBI for years. The term city lock down is a new one From a manual I have not read. Curfew is a term often used in civil unrest, lockdown sounds more like a prison population being controlled.

I'm not a sports fan, myself, but I'm surrounded by people who love the hell out of them- and while some of them might kill a person if pressed, another "athelete" would not be on the hit list. I see it all the time- people who ride bikes are naturally friends with other bikers and joggers, softball guys are buddies right off the bat with their clan and any other organized sports fan, so on and so forth. If these two were going to blow some shit up, it would have been something that represented the "Great Satan" to them, and that they did not identify with- maybe a TV station or a McDonalds, but not a bunch of joggers.
The younger kid went to class right after the bombing, no sweat, and then attended a party where he was "relaxed." Seriously? I couldn't "relax" after going to a concert when I was 19, much less pull off a Mr. Cool act in public after successfully pulling off some kind of religious war terrorist act. I might be able to do it now, but 19 is far away and faded out for me.
They robbed a 7-11? Fuck you, that's way too implausible. I might have bought it if they robbed and then ran far and fast- but they didn't. They evidently blew up a bunch of joggers, took in a few lectures, attended a party and then decided that they needed to raise their profile by stealing $100 and some Slim Jims before hanging around waiting to mix it up with the Boston PD and the FBI?
The witness that helped to identify them did so after sustaining an injury that nearly made me puke when I saw it. 75% of one of the guy's tibias was taking an air-bath, and we're going to call him a reliable witness? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he's a swell guy, but a doctor offered me Oxycontin for a headache a few years ago- what do you think they gave him for that kind of injury? I'm surprised he didn't identify the Cookie Monster and Big Bird as primary suspects after they gave him "a little something for the pain."

Nah. I'm not buying it- not a single bit of it. And I even believe that they might have been moozelims- so what. Hell, even if they did it, I'm not buying whatever motives TPTB come up with as the offical story. But even granting the possibility that these two kids set those bombs (which I find unlikely, at best) I'm more inclined to call them US freedom fighters than foreign terrorists. They weren't maginalized extremists- they were active participants in the US, and any of us have plenty of motive to strike at any target that moves at this point, if only to make a symbolic point.

We have just witnessed the template for future, nationwide police actions. Can you imagine the response had a dozen 20-year-old punks detonated bombs/vests from NYC to L.A. and points between? It would literally be a de facto usurpation of power by a militarized police force. I was amazed how quickly Bostonians swung open their front doors to dozens of heavily armed jackbooted stormtroopers and snipers with German Shepherds in tow. They didn't even hesitate because they were sold a concept: The State über alles. "In the carrying out of our "duties", your civil liberties (AHEM - FOURTH??) go out the window."
This was the opening salvo, and yet they seemingly stumbled upon it par hasard, IMO. I don't believe this was an inside job (although the gentlemen running around in khakis, big boots and sporting ear pieces were VERY out of place as if they had evidence that something of this nature might occur?) but when they ramped up the intensity of the search and no one protested (not about the $$ being blown or excessive police presence), they realized they could always lean on a familiary boogeyman: Islamofascists. These kids presented Americans on both side of the political spectrum someone they could unflinchingly hate. As much as self-loathing ultra liberal dipshits like David Sirota and Rachel Maddow are probably deeply troubled by the fact that a 30-year-old white male NRA chapter president DID NOT commit this "terrorist act", they can at least agree that a greater police presence should be tolerated to root out and destroy ISLAMOFASCISM wherever it resides.

I live in Cambridge and it is very clear that the media and government work for each other. The cops would let the media run rampant during the saga. They happily assisted with logistics etc. In return, at the end of the saga when the young bomber was caught, the media paid the gov/police back in fawning, overwhelming adulation.
The media idiots also seemed to forget that the younger bomber was caught within minutes when the stay in the home order was lifted and the homeowner went out to check on his boat. I walked around Cambridge in the afternoon and it was a ghost town. The sheeple overwhelming obeyed Big Brother and stayed in.
And of course the absurdly massive police presence was surreal. FBI, ATF, DOD, BPD, CPD, WPD, staties, SWAT, firetrucks, EPA, hazardous crews, giant media. A total circus.
