Inside Ground Zero: Photos From The Suspects' Apartment
Yesterday, we pieced together a photographic narrative of the very public events from Boston in the past week. Today, courtesy of NY Daily News, we get a first glimpse into ground zero: inside the suspect's home, an apartment located on the third floor at 410 Norfolk St. in Cambridge. From the source: "photos snapped by the Daily News show the unit in a Cambridge, Mass., building in disarray with clothes piled everywhere and a half-eaten meal left on the table." In other words, typical bachelor squalor, but that's about it. Most notably: not a trace of any explosive, incendiary or other bomb-preparing equipment or residue, no evidence of terrorist activity, and no weapons. So where did the two put together the numerous bombs they are said to have prepared?

Their Apartment 3 sits behind a makeshift plywood door, up a rickety bannister and stairs, in a nondescript building tucked on a quiet residential block in Cambridge.
Though much of the apartment was in disarray, the remnants of the brothers’ uneaten final meal remained undisturbed — with two chairs alongside their dinner table.
The apartment bore indications of the brothers’ athleticism — a set of skis, snow boots, boxing gloves, a basketball and assorted sneakers.
A bookcase with some cheap pottery stood near the dinner table, while a Crock-Pot — eerily reminiscent of the pressure cookers used in the homemade marathon bombs — was visible nearby.
A non-descript building where Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev lived.

The brothers did not return home after robbing a convenience store on Thursday night.
Sporting equipment and clothing was found throughout the apartment.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev was married and had a child, but no signs were found in the apartment indicating that they lived there with him.
Athletic gear, including boxing gloves, skis, numerous sneakers and a basketball, was found inside the Tsarnaev brothers’ Cambridge apartment. Nothing overtly menacing was found. The door of their unit was made of makeshift plywood.
Other miscellaneous items were found inside the apartment, such as an old stereo, a gas can and a can of motor oil.

Of course they must realize there may be a contradiction there because there is a picture of him climbing out of the boat (which may or may not possible with that type of injury).

The pressure cooker/crock pot/rice maker doesn't matter as long as the top seals, the can of WD40, polystyrene, the gas can ( although its the gas fumes that would be required, not so much the gasoline ) and the battery that would go in the battery charger. There is your explosive device.
You could use whatever as shrapnel but what you have listed above would make a pretty effective if not crude Napalm bomb.

I would like to express my sincerest sympathies to all those affected by the tragic event.
So far, I have not seen any evidence to prove, beyond reproach, who was responsible for this heinous act. One thing I am sure of, though, is that if something is repeated over and over, people will indeed end up believing it.
'Margaret Chabris, the director of corporate communication at 7- Eleven, says the surveillance video of the crime was not taken at a 7-Eleven and that the suspect that did rob the 7-Eleven does not look like Tamerlan or Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. I did not see any television (TV) in any of the photos. Curious, no?
I decided that it being Sunday morning, I would check out what the US Main Stream Television Media would have to present on the Boston Bombing issue. CNN and MSNBC were two stops I made early on.
Hard to believe, but they interviewed memebers of the political and law enforcement establishment on both networks. It seemed that there was a common talking point that City, State and Federal government leaders were going to spout out on this issue. And here was the main theme.
"Nobody can criticize the FBI for their work on this case." Sure, the government of Russia may have informed the FBI about Tamerlan's connections to the Chechen terror networks. But the FBI is a busy institution, they interviewed Tamerlan and found no evidence of any wrong doing or bad intentions. The FBI has a huge work load to keep track of possible terror suspects. The FBI is doing a marvelous job for which we all should be grateful. Given the need to check on numerous evil doers, the FBI did a great job in investigating and clearing Tamerlan. There surely was NO WAY the FBI could have know this innocent kid would turn terrorist. This was a case of a good institution working hard in a bad situtation and their efforts wer second to none. This is no time to criticize the FBI when all Americans need to come together and combat terror. Tamerlan was just a typical American that the FBI could not possibly suspect of any evil intent. Etc. Etc.
Praise for the FBI. Excuses for why the FBI could not possibly have known a threat existed. The FBI is all over the terror problem and keeping us safe. Despite doing the best job possible, the FBI is just too busy keeping us safe to have caught this innocent kid was going to go out and attack his new homeland.
