No need for POMOs on Fed speak or NFP days....because the fabricated good news will move the markets up itself...

Now that 1600 and 15k is MISSION ACCOMPLISHED for SP and Dow....something will suddenly transpire over this weekend that takes everyone by surprise.

Time to celebrate will be short so party up this weekend.

NewThor,

I watched your videos regarding the comet ISON and I found them intriguing.  Certainly the Comet of the Century should/would be more closely watched if it were such a big deal.  I take it that you are of the opinion that they are hiding something.  I'd be interested in hearing what it is that you really think is happening with the comet.

Comets are harbingers of bad news.  The bad news is Dow 20,000.  But honestly, why stop there?

We've got a strange minimally double peaked Solar Maximum, the Biggest comet known to man. Nearth Earth Objects and Asteroids and fireballs  up 2000% in 4 years. I think we've got a brown dwarf/Red dwarf/Neutron Star lurking around somewhere.

....So I don't 100% think ISON is real issue. What's behind ISON is the real issue to me.

Though, if ISON is the normal size and make up of a regular comet, what will make it 15 times brighter than the moon? Why can't NASA take 2 pictures of it? And if they don't know where the comet came from, how do they know what's it's made of?

Oh. and the comet of 1665 did precede the Black Plague of 1666.

So the double dusting could be bad.

/shrug.

Forgive me guys, I am sick of Bernanke. :P

Love the old Fart, got respect for him, but like him, I have thrown in the towels....we have taken this path (the society as a whole voluntarily or not) of living the life for another few months and dealing with even bigger problems down the road. But everyday I wake up, I look around me and this life is feeling more like a fantasy and when I sleep is when I see glimpse of whats to come in the future and it aint looking good.

Amen to that, brother.  Last night we had a near meltdown here at TD headquarters.  The head chef was grilling a lovely tri-tip steak while simultaneously perusing the grimmer-than-usual news on ZH.  A deep sense of foreboding (DOW 15000?) came over him and he decided to call it a day at approximately 8:45 p.m.  After passing the baton/spatula off to the sous-chef he drifted off to an uneasy slumber.  Apparently, after taking the steak off the grill and setting it on the back of the stove, the sous-chef nodded off as well.  Sometime after that, the dog decided to help himself (he's a big boy) to the resting tri-tip, in so doing sent the plate it was resting on crashing to the floor.  Being awakened by breaking glass when you are having unsettling dreams only adds to the chaos, and the humans came flying out of their bunks to investigate.  We cought the hound red-handed, the steak firmly in his jaws, and for a moment there was a tense stand-off.  Oh well, we can laugh about it now....

"Dollar Bears aren't wrong, just early." - Peter Schiff

John Willams @ http://www.shadowstats.com/ says the Dollar will sell off in May, basically the same type of prediction Max had.
We will see what May brings us, but I think the rate at which the collaspe is occuring is becoming rediculously slow.

yup, but now that we are in the new normal, everything is positive. Bad numbers? MOAR QE, Good Numbers? MOAR QE as we are improving. MOAR QE means but moar equities hence, the Indices go up.

When you look at todays numbers and factor in/out the mythical Birth/Death Model estimates, which added a whopping 193K jobs, we are net net, negative jobs numbers if backed out.

Yeah, but bonds are selling off, so this is not being viewed as bad news = MOAR QE....it's being touted (and apparently accepted) as a legitimate strong jobs print.  It's just weird.
